Abstract

House is one of the basic human need for survival. However, not all individuals have the same ability to comply housing needs. The aim of this study was to evaluate the mechanism of BSP2S system in Malang. The research method used are descriptive analysis method to describe the mechanism of the housing stimulant grants and Important Performance Analysis (IPA) to evaluate the performance of the housing stimulant finance program . The housing finance programs with a pure grant mechanism is an effort in complying the housing backlog besides mortgages mechanisms. Utilization of the housing stimulant grants through the home construction was able to reduce approximately 0.23% backlog (43 930 units) of housing need in 2011. Some things that need to be improved in housing finance programs are coordination aspect, the grants amount, improving the quality of human resources and the quality of infrastructure. Keywords: self-built housing, housing finance, backlog.

Abstract

Construction is the most significant contributor to global energy consumption. Several studies are currently being conducted to assess the risk of green construction projects, and risk modeling that considers sustainable variables is required. This study aims to evaluate, assess, and analyze the current literature on the concept of modeling the risk of green on the application of the pentuple bottom line, as well as to identify the associated themes and gaps. The Scopus databases were searched for risk green buildings using keywords such as "Risk," "green," and "building." Several papers were discovered and filtered based on their title, abstract, and keyword relevance. More articles were cross-referenced and filtered based on title, abstract, and keyword relevance—the method with Prisma protocol and Vosviewer. From 2006 to 2022, 1333 publications were discovered and analyzed using 12 bibliometrics. The approach to the likelihood and impact of the evaluation model is defined by taking five sustainable components into account (economic, social, environmental, religious, and technological). RGB = (Rp + Rse + Rm + Rt + Rs /5) is the outcome of the green building risk assessment formula. Keywords: green building, impact, risk, modeling, pentuple

Abstract

Green building has become an increasingly vital topic in global environmental discussions and the construction industry. Sustainable buildings aim to reduce environmental impact, enhance energy efficiency, and create healthier, more comfortable environments.  The research aims to understand global trends and practices related to green building concepts and sustainability initiatives. The research methodology employs a bibliometric approach involving the search, selection, and analysis of green building literature. Data bibliographies are analyzed using keyword frequency analysis, citation analysis, and data visualization. The results provide insights into global adoption trends and the roles of specific factors in green building. Various factors influence green building technology adoption, including perceptions of benefits, ease of use, social support, and government policies. This study emphasizes the significance of social, economic, and environmental factors in the diffusion of green building technology. The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) can enhance efficiency. However, it's important to note that these factors may vary across regions. Further research is necessary for a more comprehensive understanding. In conclusion, this research demonstrates that the adoption of green building technology is influenced by factors such as knowledge, social trust, environmental attitudes, costs, and perceptions of benefits and ease of use. Government support and social factors also play crucial roles in adoption. The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) holds the potential to improve efficiency. This study is relevant in both advanced and developing countries, such as Indonesia and Africa, promoting the concept of green building for global sustainability Keywords: green building, adoption, TAM

Abstract

To achieve the level of service performance from PDAM Tirta Taman Kota Bontang, obtained based on user perceptions of PDAM Taman Tirta obtained from the results of a questionnaire with a Likert scale using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method. From the IPA analysis results, interviews were conducted using the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) method. The results of the IPA analysis were used in quadrant I, namely service to the registration process (x11), the survey of prospective customer locations (x12), time of survey implementation (x13), Payment orders before installation (x15), Notice the length of the installation process (X15). Registration up to installation (X16), the supplied water meets health standards, attributes (X21 ), the quality of the supplied water (color, smell, taste) (X22), report to PDAM Tirta Taman if there is a disturbance or it doesn't work smoothly (x 33 ), the duration of handling the damage house connection (x 43 ), customer or prospective customer database of PDAM Tirta Taman (x 71 ). Then the SWOT quadrant matrix with the SO ( Strengths-Opportunities ) strategy, namely development with IT and social media Periodic pipe rejuvenation to avoid pipe leaks that can affect quality, Providing Customer Service via WhatsApp for service notifications, disruptions and payment orders, Issuing SOPs new and regular schedule for maintenance. Continue to perform security updates on the database storage system. Use official forms for prospective customers interested in installing a new connection. Abstract

Population growth led to massive construction development, with increasing demand every year. One of those demands is housing construction. The high demand for this house has led to the emergence of new contractors on a local scale, with products and services of unstable quality. Hence, the contractors need to be more competitive in the industry. This research aims to identify and analyze the important factors influencing quality assurance (QA) and the competitiveness of local contractors in housing construction projects. The analysis is grounded in three primary frameworks: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), PMBOK 6th Edition (Project Management Body of Knowledge), and Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing Regulation No. 4 of 2009. The research design used statistical analysis, Relative Importance Index (RII), and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to identify key factors. Research findings indicate that leadership commitment, project resources, and quality documentation are the three most critical factors. Regardless of the identified critical factors, all factors contribute to a significant influence on successful performance. The proposed strategic approach involves sequentially improving the "quality of work output," followed by "customer retention" and "project cycle efficiency." These findings can serve as a guideline for contractors in making decisions to enhance their competitiveness.

Abstract

Continuous infrastructure development in Indonesia has become one of the factors increasing the role of the construction sector in the Indonesian economy. The construction sector's contribution to the Indonesian economy ranks sixth, at 9.88 percent of Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2024. The relatively high injury rate on construction projects is associated with construction workers facing ever-changing work environments, typically involving heavy machinery, working at heights, noise, and other serious hazards. To address these unique safety challenges, organizations must be able to quickly adapt to changes by effectively capturing, storing, and disseminating new strategies that prevent injuries. This can be achieved through the role of a leadership style that can exemplify the importance of occupational health and safety (HSE) management. Previous research results show that leaders who can implement leadership styles effectively and decisively enable workers to follow HSE procedures properly, thereby improving employee performance. In this research, questionnaires will be distributed to 3 contractor organizations in medium to large construction projects in Malang City. The scope of work analyzed is the leadership style. This research is a type of quantitative research. The visionary leadership style has a very high level of application, being the most dominant, followed by charismatic, transformational, and transactional leadership styles, which are applied at high levels, indicating that these leadership styles do not have a full influence.
