Abstract

This research is development research (RnD) which aims to produce an Al-Quran integrated reproductive system learning module biology contains 21st century skills that is valid, practical, and effectively used in learning. This module development research refers to the 4-D development model which has 4 stages namely define, design, development, and dissemination which have been revised and tested on a limited scale in the field. The research instrument used was a validation sheet, student response questionnaires, and a test of learning outcomes in the form of 20 numbered multiple choice questions. The data analysis techniques used are validity data analysis, practically data analysis, and effectiveness data analysis. The result showed that the Al-Quran integrated reproductive system learning module biology contains 21st century skills as a whole had good quality in teaching and learning activities. The level of validity of the module can be seen from the result of the percentage of validators of material experts by 83% with very valid criteria, from media experts by 81,6% with very valid criteria, and from Al-Quran experts by 84,6% with very valid criteria. The practicality level of the module is seen from the student responses obtained from the overall percentage of the small group test of 79,8% with interesting criteria and the large group test of 84,4% with very interesting criteria. Then the level of effectiveness of the module seen from the learning outcomes of student obtained the average value of the level of mastery of students that is equal to 85,5% in the very effective category with the percentage of student learning completeness of 100%. Thus, it can be concluded that the module developed with the 4-D model is valid, practical, and effective so that it is feasible to be used as teaching material for students of class XI MA/SMA, especially on reproductive system material.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in student learning achievement between the control class and the experimental class, and to determine the effect of the Integrated Cooperative Script Al-Quran Learning Method on the Concept of the Reproductive System on the Learning Outcomes of Class XI Students of SMAS Al-Washliyah 3 Medan. The method used is an experiment whose implementation uses a quasi-experiment type with a nonequivalent control group design. The study population consisted of 48 students, namely class XI IPA-1 totaling 26 students and class XI IPA-2 totaling 22 students. Less than ideal results were observed for learning outcomes in the control class when the Cooperative Script Learning Method was not integrated with the Qur'an. An average of 78.6 describes the learning objectives. The Cooperative Script Learning Method Integrated with the Qur'an resulted in an increase in learning outcomes in the experimental class. The average (85.7), mode (87) and median (87), maximum value (97), and lowest value (75) all indicate learning outcomes. At a 5% error rate, the calculation of the independent sample t-test revealed that t table < t count (3.07 > 2.01). The experimental class had a higher percentage increase from pretest to posttest (85.15%) compared to the control class (77.98%). Therefore, the implementation of the Cooperative Script learning approach effectively contributed 55% of the total. Thus, it can be said that the learning outcomes of the experimental class that utilized the Integrated Cooperative Script Al-Quran Learning Method and the learning outcomes of the control class that used the Non-Integrated Cooperative Script Al-Quran Learning Method were significantly different.

Abstract

Suka Ndebi Village, Naman Teran District, Karo Regency, is a village located in the highlands at the foot of Mount Sinabung. Although 88% of its residents work as farmers, not all residents own their own agricultural land. It was recorded that 25% of the residents do not own their own land and work as salaried farmers, so the community’s economic level is classified as lower-middle class. Through the Community Service Program (KKN), the team discovered another untapped economic potential: honey bee cultivation. One villager has successfully cultivated honey independently and shown quite promising results. This Prompted the KKN team to conduct observations and analysis regarding the potential for developing honey cultivation as an alternative or additional source of income for the village community. This study aims to explore the extent to which honey cultivation can be a sustainable economic solution amidst limited agricultural land ownership. The methods used included field observations, interviews with residents and village officials, and literature review related to honey cultivation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work commitment on employee performance at the Sidikalang District Office, Dairi Regency. Work commitment, which includes affective, normative, and ongoing commitments, is considered an important factor in improving employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design to test the relationship between the two variables. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 48 employees at the sub-district office, using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software version 25.0. The results of the linear regression test show that work commitment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 2.187. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.654 indicates that 65.4% of the variability of employee performance can be explained by work commitment, while the rest is influenced by other factors that are not studied. The results of the regression analysis showed that work commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Sidikalang District Office, Dairi Regency. This can be seen from the t-count value which reached 9.326, greater than the t-table of 2.01290, and the significance value of 0.02 < 0.05., which means that there is a significant influence between work commitment and employee performance. This research contributes to the development of human resource management policies in the government environment to improve employee performance through increasing work commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work commitment on employee performance, as well as to study the role of individual characteristics as a moderation variable in the Sidikalang District Office, Dairi Regency. The method used is casual associative quantitative research with data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 49 ASN employees at the office. The results showed that work commitment did not have a significant influence on employee performance, with a T-Statistic value of 1.475 (< 1.96) and a P-Value of 0.147 (> 0.05). However, individual characteristics have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a T-Statistic value of 2.006 (> 1.96) and a P-Value of 0.041 (< 0.05). In addition, individual characteristics were unable to moderate the relationship between work commitment and employee performance, with a T-Statistic value of 0.358 (< 1.96) and a P-Value of 0.722 (> 0.05). This study shows that individual characteristics are an important factor in improving employee performance, while work commitment requires a strategic approach to have a significant impact.

Abstract

The study entitled "The Effect of Group Guidance Role Playing Techniques in Managing High School Students' Self-Emotions with an Islamic Education Approach" aims to overcome the problem of managing students' emotions that often trigger disputes, difficulties in expressing emotions, and excessive joking behavior. This study used a quantitative approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design and involved 10 grade X students at SMA Budi Agung Medan who were selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using emotion management scale and analyzed by Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the role playing technique significantly improved students' ability to manage emotions, with a value of Zhitung = -2.803 and p = 0.005 < 0.05. These findings indicate the importance of implementing group guidance services with specific techniques in schools to develop students' potential.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efikasi diri siswa MTs Al-Washliyah beberapa waktu lalu dan setelah diberikan perlakuan khusus layanan informasi berbasis pendidikan Islam dan untuk mengetahui dampak dari perlakuan khusus layanan informasi berbasis pendidikan Islam terhadap peningkatan efikasi diri siswa MTs Al-Washliyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi terdiri dari 101 siswa kelas VIII di MTs Al-Washliyah. Sampel yang dipilih dengan menggunakan strategi purposive sampling adalah 31 siswa kelas VIII-C. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penyelidikan menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri siswa kelas VIII-C MTs Al-Washliyah sebagai kelompok uji coba yang beberapa waktu lalu diberikan perlakuan khusus layanan informasi adalah 80,64% siswa kelas VIII-C MTs Al-Washliyah memiliki efikasi diri yang rendah dan 19,36% memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi. Efikasi diri siswa kelas VIII-C MTs Al-Washliyah setelah diberikan perlakuan, khususnya layanan informasi metode cinema therapy berdasarkan instruksi Islam, terdapat 16,12% siswa kelas VIII-C MTs Al-Washliyah yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi dan 83,88% yang memiliki efikasi diri tinggi. Terdapat dampak dari layanan informasi strategi perlakuan cinema therapy berdasarkan instruksi Islam dalam memperluas efikasi diri siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, yang menyiratkan bahwa ada dampak yang perlu diperhatikan beberapa waktu setelah melakukan (pre-test) layanan informasi strategi cinema therapy berdasarkan instruksi Islam dan setelah melakukan (post-test) layanan informasi strategi cinema therapy berdasarkan instruksi Islam terhadap kecukupan efikasi diri.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectivenessof individual counseling services using behavior chart techniques in improving prayer habits in autistic children at SLBN Autis Sumut. Autistic children often experience obstacles in praying consistently due to difficulties in communication, focus, and adaptation to routines. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design without full randomization. The sample consisted of five autistic students with low prayer habits who were selected through purposive sampling. The intervention was delivered through four individual counseling sessions using behavior charts as visual monitoring and behavior reinforcement tools. Data were collected using a prayer habit scale instrument that had been tested for validity and reliability 0.849. The pre-test results showed that all participants were in the low category, while the post-test results showed an increase to the high category. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test produced a significance value of 0.041 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant change. This study contributes to the field of special guidance and counseling by confirming the effectiveness of behavior charts in shaping religious behavior in autistic children. These findings are important as a basis for developing visual and behavior-based counseling services in special schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counseling using the Muhasabah Diri technique in helping to reduce selfish attitudes among students at the Boarding School SMP Plus Jabal Rahmah Mulia Medan. The research used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method employing a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population consisted of 51 ninth-grade students, with a sample of 6 students identified as having a high level of selfishness. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test through the SPSS 22 for Windows application. Based on the statistical analysis, the obtained Z value was -2.201 with a significance value (Asymp. Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.028 < 0.05. These results indicate that group counseling using the Muhasabah Diri technique is effective in reducing selfish attitudes among students at the Boarding School SMP Plus Jabal Rahmah Mulia Medan.
