Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan mengetahui lebih jelas bagaimana pengaruh etika kerja, pengalaman kerja dan budaya kerja terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai. Adapun permasalahannya yang penulis angkat yaitu: apakah etika kerja, pengalaman kerja dan budaya kerja berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan dan parsial terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai Kecamatan Binjai Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang melibatkan 52 orang responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pembagian kuisioner. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan formula statistik, yakni dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil dari analisis regresi adalah: Y= 0,327 +0,746X1+0,389 X2 + -0,137 X3. Variabel etika kerja memiliki pengaruh yang paling besar terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai 0,679, kemudian diikuti oleh variabel pengalaman kerja sebesar 0,466. Hasil analisis menggunakan koefisien determinasi diketahui bahwa 91,1% variasi dari prestasi kerja pegawai dapat dijelaskan oleh etika kerja, pengalaman kerja dan budaya kerja pada tingkat kepercayaan 0,05%. Sedangkan sisanya 8,9% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak terdapat dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa variabel etika kerja, pengalaman kerja dan budaya kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka hipotesis diterima yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara etika kerja, pengalaman kerja dan budaya kerja terhadap prestasi kerja pegawai Kecamatan Binjai Selatan.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan kerja, gaji, kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan Perusahaan Leasing di Medan. Menganalisis kemampuan kerja, gaji, kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja, kompensasi, disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja secara silmutan terhadap kinerja karyawan di Perusahaan Leasing di Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket yang disebarkan ke responden. Analisis data menggunakan regresi jalur. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan analisis uji faktor terdapat 2 (dua) faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan, faktor-faktor tersebut adalah: Faktor pertama adalah kemampuan kerja dengan nilai loading factor sebesar 0,887. Faktor kedua adalah lingkungan kerja dengan nilai loading factor sebesar 0,876. Hasil pengujian analisis regresi linear berganda bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara kemampuan kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan pada Perusahaan Leasing di Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan penulis melakukan penelitian di Dinas Bina Marga Propinsi Sumatera Utara UPTD Binjai adalah untuk mengetahui secara serempak dan simultan pengaruh komunikasi antarpribadi dan pengawasan (controlling) terhadap kinerja pegawai Dinas Bina Marga Propinsi Sumatera Utara Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Binjai. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder, yaitu dengan pengamatan atau observasi, wawancara (interview), dan angket atau kuisioner dan studi kepustakaan. Peneliti menggunakan angket yang berstruktur sebagai alat/instrumen untuk memperoleh data primer dengan sistem skala likert yang disebarkan kepada 70 responden. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa komunikasi antarpribadi dan pengawasan secara serempak (simultan) berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Bina Marga Propinsi Sumatera Utara Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Binjai. pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% atau tingkat signifikan 5% sesuai dengan hasil Fhitung 120,872 > dari tabel Ftabel 2, dan probabilitasnya signifikan lebih kecil dari 0,05 yaitu 0,000 < 0,05 Hasil uji `t` menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi antarpribadi dan pengawasan mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja pegawai Kinerja Pegawai Dinas Bina Marga Propinsi Sumatera Utara Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Binjai.Artinya, peningkatan komunikasi antarpribadi dan pengawasan diikuti dengan kenaikkan Kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Bina Marga Propinsi Sumatera Utara Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas (UPTD) Binjai. Secara parsial bahwa variabel komunikasi antarpribadi memiliki pengaruh dominan dibandingkan dengan variabel pengawasan. Koefesien determinasi (Adjusted R Square) asil regresi adalah 77,7% menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas 77,7% dapat menjelaskan 77,7 % terhadap variabel terikat (kinerja pegawai). Hal ini menyatakan bahwa hipotesis sebelumnya diterima.

Abstract

Local wisdom is the power of the community in establishing a group and themselves without destroying the social order that is adaptive to the surrounding natural environment. It is built on social values ​​that are upheld in the social structure of society. The functions are to guide, control, sign and to behave in various dimensions of life both when dealing with others and nature. Local wisdom is one the foundation for economic development in Indonesia.The development of the Indonesian economy cannot be denied leading to a liberal economy without avoiding local cultural values ​​that are still used today such as a culture of mutual-cooperation, sustaining the food needs to be produced and enjoyed together, and love Indonesian products. Limitations of the study in this paper are how Indonesian economic policy in applying the principles of local wisdom and local wisdom can answer the challenges of the global economy, especially the ASEAN Economic Community.Indonesia has great potential in developing local wisdom since it consists of regions having diverse ethnicities, great natural resources from the sea and land. Indonesia's economic policy should focus on the local wisdom that is not eroded by the times. The economic policy uses local potential through local culture by generating one village one product into one of the Indonesian economic policies that local governments must realize to develop local economic potential. Indonesia has a creative economic agency that focuses on the development of local economy, but the creative economy should apply the principle of local wisdom in responding to the challenges of the global economy, especially the ASEAN Economic Community. Sustainable economic development is useful for the future of Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines and finds out more clearly the effect of motivation, leadership, and work environment on employee productivity at PT Cipta Mapan Logistik (Linc Group) Medan Branch. As for the problem that the author raised, namely: whether motivation, leadership, and work environment have a significant simultaneous and partial effect on the work productivity of employees at PT Cipta Mapan Logistik (Linc Group) Medan Branch. The method used in this study is a quantitative method involving 55 respondents. Data collection was carried out using the distribution of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed using statistical formulas, using multiple linear regression analysis carried out with the SPSS Version 16 program. The leadership variable has the most significant influence on employee productivity of 0.275. The analysis results using the coefficient of determination show that 75.4% of the variation in employee productivity can be explained by motivation, leadership, and work environment at a 0.5% confidence level. At the same time, the remaining 24.6% is explained by other variables not included in this study. The results of the quantitative analysis show that motivation, leadership, and work environment have a significant effect on employee productivity. Based on the research results, the hypothesis is accepted, which states that there is a substantial influence between motivation, leadership, and work environment on the work productivity of PT. Cipta Mapan Logistik (Linc Group) Medan Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of work commitment on employee performance at the Sidikalang District Office, Dairi Regency. Work commitment, which includes affective, normative, and ongoing commitments, is considered an important factor in improving employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal associative design to test the relationship between the two variables. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 48 employees at the sub-district office, using a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS software version 25.0. The results of the linear regression test show that work commitment has a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a regression coefficient of 2.187. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.654 indicates that 65.4% of the variability of employee performance can be explained by work commitment, while the rest is influenced by other factors that are not studied. The results of the regression analysis showed that work commitment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Sidikalang District Office, Dairi Regency. This can be seen from the t-count value which reached 9.326, greater than the t-table of 2.01290, and the significance value of 0.02 < 0.05., which means that there is a significant influence between work commitment and employee performance. This research contributes to the development of human resource management policies in the government environment to improve employee performance through increasing work commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of competence and career enhancement with occupational health and safety as an intervening variable at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Pematangsiantar. There is no influence of competence on improving employee careers within PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Pematangsiantar and improving employee health and safety. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The sample amounted to 130 people consisting of 92 employees scattered in the Customer Service Unit (ULP) and 48 people who were in the Customer Service Unit Office (UP3) Pematang siantar. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that there was one hypothesis that was rejected, namely employee competence and career advancement had a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance and occupational health and safety on career advancement through competency improvement and six more hypotheses were accepted. These findings indicate that improving individual competencies is key in career advancement towards performance with OHS as the main objective. Therefore, it is recommended that organizations continue to encourage competency improvement to improve performance so that employee career advancement is also aligned with competency improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and education on employee performance with job promotion as an intervening variable at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 North Medan. This study is motivated by the importance of improving employee performance which is not only influenced by individual abilities, but also by job promotion opportunities as a form of appreciation and career development. The research method used is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The number of respondents in this study was 69 employees selected through a purposive sampling method. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study indicate that: (1) competence has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (2) competence has a positive and significant effect on job promotion, (3) education does not have a significant effect on employee performance, (4) education has a positive and significant effect on job promotion, (5) job promotion has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, (6) job promotion mediates the effect of competence on employee performance, and (7) job promotion also mediates the effect of education on employee performance. Thus, it can be concluded that competence and education are important factors in supporting job promotion, while job promotion is proven to be a key variable that improves employee performance at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 North Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and work discipline on employee performance through zero accidents as a mediating variable. The research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Matang Glumpang Dua UP3 Lhokseumawe UID Aceh, with a population and sample of 39 employees, using a saturated sampling technique since the entire population was included as respondents. The data analysis method used was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The results showed that both work environment and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, work environment and work discipline also have a positive and significant effect on zero accidents. The zero accident variable is proven to positively and significantly affect employee performance. Additionally, zero accidents significantly mediates the effect of work environment and work discipline on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of creating a safe work environment and fostering employee discipline to achieve optimal performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, communication, and managerial support on employee performance, with communication and organizational culture as moderating variables. The study was conducted at the Treasury Division of PLN Head Office with a population of 270 employees, all of whom were sampled through a census technique. The research method used a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling analysis techniques based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS software. The results showed that organizational culture, communication, and managerial support had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. However, the moderating effect of communication and organizational culture on the relationship between independent variables and performance was not significant. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of strong organizational culture, effective communication, and managerial support in improving employee performance, especially in a complex work environment such as PLN. This study also provides theoretical contributions to the development of human resource management science, as well as practical suggestions for organizational management in the electricity sector.
