Abstract

This  study  aimed  to  carry  out  a  SWOT  analysis  and  formulate  marketing strategies  of  processed  apple  products.  Primary  data  were  obtained  from  producers and  consumers.  Producers  were  selected  purposively,  while  consumers  were selected by  accidental  sampling  when  they  bought the  product  at  souvenirs  shops  of Malang. SWOT analysis was used to analyze the data taken from both producers and consumers, as  well  as  to  formulate  marketing  strategies.  The  results  showed  that  in  general  the products of apple chips, porridge and cider have the strength on products, especially in terms  of  taste.  Meanwhile,  the  weaknesses  are  less  durable  products,  however, consumers also do not want any preservatives  added.  Moreover, the opportunities  are the high interest of consumers, many souvenir shops and bank credit offered.  On the other  side,  the  threats  consists  of  unhealthy  business  competition  and  weakness  of consumer purchasing power even though they are interested  in the products. Based on the results of the SWOT  analysis, marketing strategies recommended to  the products  of apple  chips  and  apple  porridge  is  aggressive  strategy,  because  they  are  in  the  first quadrant  of SWOT  diagram.  Apple cider, however,  is  recommended to run a defensive strategy, because this product  is located  in quadrant III  of  the same diagram. Related promotions, various media information such as local television and  internet should be used optimally to promote the  products. Consumers should receive the correct and fare information, so that producers must conduct a responsible business ethics.

Abstract

Impulse Buying memiliki beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi antara lain store image dan hedonic motives. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan yaitu mengetahui pengaruh store image terhadap impulse buying konsumen buah, dan mengetahui pengaruh hedonic motives terhadap impulse buying konsumen buah. Penentuan lokasi menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 65 responden. Pengukuran variabel menggunakan skala likert. Metode analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM - PLS) menggunakan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh signifikan store image terhadap impulse buying produk buah. Ketertarikan konsumen akan suatu store image yang baik membuat konsumen merasa senang berbelanja dan membuat konsumen memiliki kesan baik pada suatu toko, sehingga membuat konsumen melakukan impulse buying. menunjukan terdapat pengaruh signifikan hedonic motives terhadap impulse buying produk buah. Adanya faktor internal yang ada pada diri konsumen terutama sifat hedonic motives dapat membentuk persepsi konsumen melakukan impulse buying. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan pengaruh konsumen impulse buying dari faktor lainnya

Abstract

Forecasting produksi dan konsumsi daging ayam broiler sangat penting untuk dilakukan agar menghindari defisit atau kekurangan ketersediaan daging ayam broiler, sehingga dapat terpenuhinya gizi pada masyarakat terutama di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Tujuan penelitian yakni menganalisis trend produksi dan konsumsi daging ayam broiler selama tahun 2011-2020 dan forecasting pada tahun 2021-2025 serta mengidentifikasi dampak yang ditimbulkan dari produksi dan konsumsi daging ayam broiler di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Data yang digunakan berupa data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Dinas Peternakan dan Ketahanan Pangan dan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Jawa Timur. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahun 2011-2020 di Provinsi Jawa Timur, produksi dan konsumsi daging ayam broiler mengalami trend meningkat atau positif, namun pada tahun 2012-2013 daging ayam broiler mengalami defisit/kekurangan. Tahun 2021-2025 di Provinsi Jawa Timur menunjukkan bahwa hasil forecasting produksi dan konsumsi juga mengalami peningkatan dengan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan. Dengan demikian, karena adanya perkembangan dari produksi dan konsumsi daging ayam broiler ini maka dapat menimbulkan beberapa dampak yang dapat merugikan ataupun memberikan keuntungan dari segi aspek lingkungan maupun ekonomi di Provinsi Jawa Timur.Kata kunci: Daging Ayam Broiler, Forecasting, Trend, Produksi, Konsumsi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of cut chrysanthemum farming and the effect of the use of chrysanthemum cut production inputs on the risk of chrysanthemum production in Sidomulyo Village, Batu City. This research was carried out during May and June for one time planting at the last harvest in 2018 year. Data collection was obtained through interviews to 34 farmers that taken as a whole (census method). Farm income is analyzed using Economic Analysis while the factors that influence the risk of chrysanthemum production are cut analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis Cobb-Douglass production function model and Just and Pope production function. The results of the analysis show that Chrysanthemum farming income cut profitable and efficientc, seen from the results of the R / C Ratio amounting to 1,90. Production factors significantly affect the productivity of cut chrysanthemums is seeds, chemical fertilizers, and labor while the factors that significantly affect the risk of production is chemical fertilizers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are as follows: 1. To find out the quality of products to consumers satisfaction Pesen Kopi Malang 2. To find out the brand of consumer satisfaction Pesen Kopi Malang 3. To find out loyalty to consumers satisfaction Pesen Kopi Malang. This research was conducted at Malang Coffee Pesen Coffee Shop in January-February 2020. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires. The sampling technique is using accidental sampling. Sampling amounted to 75 respondents. Data collection techniques are primary data and documentation. Data analysis methods used were validity and reliability tests, to analyze the PLS Warp. The results of the path coefficients and P values on customer satisfaction are only variables X3 (loyalty) which are significant, that is <0.001 <0.05 and X1 (product quality), X2 (brand) is not significant.

Abstract

Consumer Satisfaction is an assessment of the features of a product or service that provides a level of pleasure to customers related to meeting customer consumption needs. Aqiqah Nurul Hayat has been serving aqiqah services since 2003 and already has more than 30 branches spread throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between price perception, service quality, and product quality to consumer satisfaction with aqiqah Nurul Hayat Malang Branch. The research location is at the office of Nurul Hayat Malang branch on Jl. S. Supriadi No. 7 Sukun. Sampling used the accidental sampling method, the respondents obtained were 73 people. The analytical method used in this study is Spearman's Correlation. The data used are primary data. The results obtained indicate that the perception of price, service quality, and product quality have a relationship with customer satisfaction Aqiqah Nurul Hayat Malang branch. The results of the analysis show that perceived price, service quality, and product quality have a strong relationship with customer satisfaction at the Aqiqah Nurul Hayat Malang branch. The recommendation given is to maintain customer satisfaction by continuing to maintain the quality of both services and products.

Abstract

An unavoidable climate change has an impact on agricultural production.  This study aims at determining farmers’ knowledge concerning climate change and farmers’ behavior in apple cultivation, as well as it aims at investigating the impact of climate change on apple productivity, environmental damage, and apple prices. Primary data were collected using structured interviews to farmers of apple. Structural Equation Model (SEM) is employed to analyze the effect of climate change on production, environment and price changes. The results showed farmers possessed knowledge concerning climate change based on information mainly received from television and their perceived experience. Climate change causes the increase of warmer air temperatures, drought, and the need for product facilities, like fertilizers and pesticides. However, it causes the decrease of apple production. Climate change has a significant negative effect on apple productivity and the economic value of apples. The environment also has a negative effect on apple productivity at a lower level of significance.  During climate change, apple productivity has a negative effect on apple prices, It means that the higher the apple productivity is, the lower the apple price will be. Hence, climate change caused the impact of a decrease in the economic value of local apple agribusiness in Malang Raya.

Abstract

Today's business competition is limited to the functional attributes of the product and has been associated with the brand. This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in brand equity and its elements between the Promise Jiwa Coffee Shop and Kenangan Coffee Shop in Malang City. The design of this study used a survey method with sampling using a non-probability sampling technique. The research data used primary data obtained from interviews and the distribution of questionnaires. Respondents from this study were consumers of the two consumers, who had visited at least twice. The number of respondents was 160 people, 80 respondents from the Janji Jiwa coffee shop and 80 respondents from the Kenangan coffee shop. Data analysis used descriptive statistics of percentages and independent t-test differences. The results of the study based on descriptive analysis of the percentages for the variables of brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty from the two shops have positive values. Respondents' answers were dominated by answers that strongly agree and agree. Based on the results of the independent t-test analysis, it shows that the elements of brand equity and brand equity of the two shops in Malang City do not have a significant difference.

Abstract

AbstrakWedang uwuh merupakan salah satu minuman herbal yang memiliki peluang dijadikan sebagai usaha di bidang makanan dan minuman. Dalam membangun sebuah usaha, diperlukan perencanaan usaha agar usaha yang dikelola dapat mencapai tujuan perusahaan, serta berkembang dengan cepat. Selain itu, dalam sebuah kegiatan bisnis juga dibutuhkan studi kelayakan pada bisnis yang sedang dijalankan. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah menganalisis kelayakan usaha minuman Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal ditinjau dari aspek keuangan dan mengetahui kendala pada usaha minuman Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal ditinjau dari segi produksi dan penjualan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diambil mengggunakan metode observasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah kriteria investasi yaitu Net Present Value (NPV), Net B/C, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Payback Period (PP), serta juga membandingkan nilai produksi dengan penjualan. Hasil Analisis menunjukkan nilai NPV 115.617 > 0, nilai IRR 9,17%, Net B/C Ratio 1,004 > 1, dan nilai PP 0,34. Artinya, usaha minuman Wedang Uwuh Mazedo herbal dilihat dari segi ekonomi menjanjikan keuntungan yang besar dan jumlah masa waktu atau periode pengembalian investasi yang telah ditanamkan bisa didapatkan pada bulan ke-4. Akan tetapi, pada usaha minuman Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal mengalami kendala pada penjualan sehingga keuntungan yang didapatkan tidak maksimal. Berdasarkan kendala usaha minuman Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal yaitu pada segi penjualan, maka disarankan untuk lebih ditingkatkan dalam mempromosikan produknya sehingga tidak hanya segi produksi yang berjalan dengan lancar, demikian juga dengan segi penjualannya.Kata kunci: Kelayakan Usaha, Tanaman Herbal, Keuntungan.Abstract Wedang uwuh is one of the herbal drinks that has the opportunity to be used as a business in the food and beverage sector. In building a business, a business plan is needed so that the managed business can achieve company goals, and develop quickly. In addition, a business activity also requires a feasibility study on the business being run. The purpose of this research is to analyze the feasibility of the Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal beverage business in terms of financial aspects and to find out the constraints on the Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal beverage business in terms of production and sales. This study uses primary data taken using the observation method. The analysis technique used is the investment criteria, namely Net Present Value (NPV), Net B/C, Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (PP), as well as comparing production values with sales. The results of the analysis show that the NPV value is 115,617 > 0, the IRR value is 9.17%, the Net B/C Ratio is 1.004 > 1, and the PP value is 0.34. That is, the Wedang Uwuh Mazedo herbal beverage business from an economic perspective promises big profits and the amount of time or investment return period that has been invested can be obtained in the 4th month. However, the Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal beverage business experienced sales problems so that the profits were not maximized. Based on the constraints of the Wedang Uwuh Mazedo Herbal beverage business, namely in terms of sales, it is suggested to further improve the promotion of its products so that not only the production side runs smoothly, so does the sales side.Keywords: Business Feasibility, Herbal Plants, Profit.

Abstract

Milk is a vital animal-derived food product, along with meat and eggs, for human consumption. In Indonesia, the dairy industry is dominated by small and medium-sized dairies. Dairy cows are a significant source of animal protein, and their primary product is milk. In the North of Blitar Regency lies the sub-district of Gandusari, where dairy cow milk is produced in the villages under the coverage of the Village Unit Cooperative called KUD "Semen." This research was initiated to address a problem. Primary and secondary data were collected using a puIDRosive sampling technique, questionnaires, literature review, and observation. The collected data is quantitative, and investment criteria were utilized for analysis. The results of the NPV analysis showed an amount of IDR 18,672,631,280, IRR of 29%, B/C Ratio of 184.04, and PP for eight years and six days, indicating the feasibility of investing in KUD "Semen." Sensitivity analysis was performed based on three assumptions, including the increase in feed costs, operational costs, and decreased milk production of dairy cows. The analysis revealed that the dairy milk business in KUD is sensitive to increased feed prices and decreased production, among the three assumptions.
