Abstract

Sampah merupakan suatu bahan yang terbuang atau dibuang dari sumber aktivitas manusia maupun alam yang masih mempunyai nilai ekonomis hanya jika sampah tersebut dimanfaatkan kembali untuk menghasilkan sesuatu yang berguna.  Dengan memanfaatkan sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk tanaman, dapat memberikan fungsi ganda terhadap kehidupan masyarakat desa, yaitu selain menghasilkan pupuk tanaman, juga dapat membantu masyarakat dalam menjaga hidup bersih. Dimana dengan adanya kegiatan pengolahan sampah organik tersebut yang sebagian besar sampahnya berasal dari buangan sampah rumah tangga, dapat mengurangi volume sampah yang berpotensi terjadinya kekumuhan dan pencemaran lingkungan yang menyebabkan lingkungan menjadi tidak sehat dan kotor. Untuk itu, diperlukan adanya kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam pemanfaatan sampah organik di lingkungan masyarakat desa Puncel menjadi pupuk kompos yang dapat digunakan sebagai pupuk tanaman dengan menggunakan komposter dan lubang biopori.

Abstract

Garbage is often considered trivial by the community so that it causes negative impacts if left scattered or piled up. Can have a positive impact or make money if it is utilized to the full. The type of waste that is often produced by most people is household organic waste that is easy to rot and decompose. One way that can be done to reduce household organic waste is to innovate a versatile organic waste processing tool such as composter. This tool converts organic waste into organic fertilizer. With the processing of organic waste can reduce air pollution, and also produce fertilizer at a lower cost. Useful for fertilizing the soil. Therefore, training and assistance in the processing of organic waste using composter equipment was carried out, as was done in desa Semboja with the LIBAS program. Training and assistance in making eco-bricks in several villages such as in desa Surokidul and desa Pagerbarang. Introduction to the concept of the Garbage Bank, its management and development, training in making handicrafts made of plastic, the use of plastic waste into pot-verticulture media, and processing plastic waste obtained by waste banks into oil. Many things can be done to empower village communities so that they are more independent, live healthier and happier.

Abstract

As a sector playing a crucial role in ship construction and repair, the shipbuilding industry faces significant challenges in material procurement, where materials constitute 50-70% of the total project cost. One of the materials requiring paramount attention is the ship's main engine. Effective supply chain management is critical to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement process of ship engines. However, supply chain performance measurement research, especially in ship engine procurement, still needs to be improved. Therefore, this study aims to identify relevant performance metrics, analyze critical performance indicators, and provide recommendations based on the SCOR (Supply et al.) framework to improve ship engine procurement. The research results present 24 metrics distributed into four performance attributes based on SCOR 12.0, with 22 selected metrics aligned with the company's context. Analysis using the AHP method indicates that the reliability attribute has the highest weight (0.296), with the metric "Percentage of procurement received on time as per request" being the top priority (weight 0.143). This study provides a holistic view of crucial aspects of the ship engine procurement supply chain, supporting companies in enhancing their performance in the procurement process.

Abstract

The ship's service speed performance is prioritized in a ship's propulsion system planning. Motor Vessel. KENDHANGA NUSANTARA 6 is a type of containerized cargo ship built to support the sea toll program in the Tanjung Emas port area, Semarang. The less significant propeller pitch affects the ship's ability to move. The experiment was carried out by operating the machine with maximum capability. The phenomenon of the geometric shape of the propeller provides information on the rotation results and the distribution of the working forces. The structure of the propeller design describes the ability and level of effectiveness when the propeller is submerged in water. The results of this study show that the optimization value of the right propeller pitch is 0.6%, the pitch width is 1660 mm, and the optimization value of the left propeller pitch is 1.2% with a pitch width of 1670 mm; this value can make the ship's rate speed during the docking trial 12.3 knots, following the planned speed.

Abstract

Ship stability is a critical factor in the operation of a catamaran, especially when facing various sea conditions. The catamaran H-192, recently acquired by PT XY, is used as a case study in this research to assess its stability and response to operational and environmental conditions. Stability criteria based on Annex 7 of the High-Speed Craft (HSC) Code are used as the evaluation standard. This research aims to evaluate the stability and response of the catamaran H-192 under various operational and environmental conditions. The primary focus is to ensure that the vessel meets and exceeds the stability criteria set by Annex 7 and to understand how the vessel behaves in real-world situations. The methods used in this research include stability calculations based on Annex 7 and model design using Maxsurf software. The calculations involve the analysis of the righting lever (GZ), metacentric height (GM), and other stability criteria. Operational data and load distribution are analyzed to determine the draft, trim, and stability of the vessel under various loading conditions. The results show that the catamaran H-192 not only meets but also exceeds the stability criteria set by Annex 7. The high values of righting lever (GZ) and metacentric height (GM) at various angles of heel indicate excellent transverse and longitudinal stability. The evaluation of intact stability criteria shows that all parameters achieve "PASS" status, indicating the vessel's capability to handle combinations of heeling forces due to wind, high-speed maneuvering, and passenger crowding very well. The analysis of both full and empty operational conditions shows balanced load distribution and maintained stability.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKN-T) merupakan kegiatan akademik pada Program Sarjana yang bersifat kurikuler dan interdisipliner dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan membantu memecahkan permasalahan masyarakat dengan mengutamakan pemberdayaan masyarakat dan kegiatannya harus gayut dengan kompetensi lulusan Program Studi, dan pelaksanaannya diatur dengan Keputusan Rektor, sesuai dengan Peraturan Rektor Universitas Diponegoro Nomor 7 Tahun 2024 tentang Peraturan Akademik Bidang Pendidikan Program Sarjana Universitas Diponegoro. Program ini dikelola oleh Pusat Pengembangan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (P2KKN) dan berlangsung selama kurang lebih 35 hari di desa-desa yang telah ditentukan pada wilayah kecamatan dan kabupaten tertentu. Pada tahun ini, salah satu lokasi yang terpilih sebagai tempat pelaksanaan KKN tematik adalah Kelurahan Sepakung, tepatnya di Dusun Sepakung Wetan RW 10 dan RW 11. Kelurahan ini dikenal sebagai salah satu Desa Wisata unggulan di Kabupaten Semarang, yang terletak di lereng Gunung Telomoyo dan menyuguhkan potensi alam yang melimpah serta panorama yang menawan. Namun demikian, di balik pertumbuhan pariwisata yang pesat, masih terdapat tantangan lingkungan yang cukup signifikan, terutama di wilayah RW 10 dan RW 11. Permasalahan seperti rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan, kebiasaan membuang sampah sembarangan, serta kurangnya pemahaman mengenai mitigasi dan kesiapsiagaan terhadap bencana alam menjadi isu penting yang perlu segera diatasi melalui pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif. Selain itu, Kelurahan Sepakung juga menyimpan kekayaan hayati yang luar biasa, berupa daun-daunan dan bunga-bungaan yang mengandung pigmen alami. Potensi ini sangat berharga dan memiliki peluang besar untuk dikembangkan menjadi produk ekonomi kreatif berbasis kearifan lokal, seperti teknik ecoprint yaitu metode pewarnaan kain menggunakan bahan alami yang ramah lingkungan. Sebagai respon terhadap potensi dan permasalahan tersebut, para mahasiswa menyelenggarakan program bertajuk "Jejak Daun Sepakung: Mewarnai Kain, Menggerakkan Ekonomi", yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat, khususnya kelompok ibu-ibu PKK melalui pelatihan keterampilan dalam pembuatan kerajinan kain berbasis ecoprint. Dengan memanfaatkan kekayaan alam lokal, program ini tidak hanya mengangkat identitas dan keunikan Desa Sepakung, tetapi juga mendorong prinsip pembangunan berkelanjutan serta penguatan ekonomi lokal. Hasil kerajinan ecoprint ini diharapkan dapat menjadi produk khas Desa Wisata Sepakung, memperluas pasar wisata kreatif, dan menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat terhadap pelestarian lingkungan

Abstract

Unsafe worker behavior remains a prevalent issue leading to workplace accidents, particularly within companies specializing in services for head truck operations, maintenance, and lifting equipment. This study aims to enhance worker safety behaviors through proactive interventions utilizing behavioral observation and intervention (BO&I). Additionally, trend analysis is employed to predict the impact of interventions on worker safety behaviors. Mechanical workers involved in lifting and transport equipment operations are surveyed as respondents. The findings reveal a notable increase in the percentage of safe behaviors post-intervention compared to pre-intervention levels. Moreover, disparities in worker safety behaviors between pre- and post-intervention stages are identified, particularly in work stages associated with a high frequency of accidents. Trend analysis forecasts that the maximum percentage of safe worker behavior will be observed at the 91st intervention. Furthermore, binary logistic regression analysis indicates that variables such as age, tenure, utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE), and education significantly influence worker behaviors.
