Abstract

This article aims to reveal the merger between two therapeutic methods used by the Jam’iyyah Ruqyah Aswaja (JRA) in Bekasi, namely the ruqyah method and the hypnotherapy method. The tendency of people to switch from medical medicine to alternative medicine is very high. So came various techniques and methods of alternative medicine that are popular with the community, including ruqyah which has been very popular among Muslims. Unlike ruqyah which is identical to Islam, hypnotherapy is a method that is born not from a certain belief background. This relatively new medical technique can be practiced by anyone with any religious background. Because it is considered not to disturb the creed, the idea arose to combine ruqyah with hypnotherapy. Among the communities that developed a combination of these two alternative methods is Jam'iyyah Ruqyah Aswaja Bekasi Branch which introduced Islamic hypnotherapy with the Taskhir al-Qur’an method.  This study used qualitative methods to analyze field data taken using observation techniques and depth interviews. The results of this study show that Jam'iyyah Ruqyah Aswaja Bekasi states that the Taskhir al-Qur’an method  can be used to treat psychic and physical. The process of handling patients begins with hypnotherapy techniques, after the patient enters the subconscious recited verses of the Qur'an which indicate the process of ruqyah has begun. Taskhir al-Qur’an method  has four approaches, namely: Taskhir al-Nidzam for physical and psychological disorders;  Taskhir al-Qulub for mental balance disorders;   Taskhir al-Gharib for  telemedicine; and Taskhir al-Ghoibi for   mass treatment services for all complaints experienced by patients.

Abstract

The number of people in the world is counted in billions. When looked back upon, it surely goes back to Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and Mother Eve. When they both met, their descendants emerged. The children of Adam originated from their father, Adam (peace be upon him), who was created from microbes. Each of them spread, carrying atoms, and to this day they have not disappeared. From this, the question arises: what is Thanthawi Jauhari's thinking about the genetics of the descendants of Adam (peace be upon him)? This research will be qualitatively analyzed using a scientific approach. The primary data source used in this research is the book al-Jawahir fi Tafsir al-Qur’an al-Karim by Thanthawi Jauhari, which will be analyzed descriptively and analytically. This research concludes that human beings on Earth, from the past to the present, have one common point, which is the unity in creation and similarity in characteristics, conditions, and behavior. This unity and similarity are caused by each human passing down genes to the next generation, which will continue to process and intermix according to human reproduction and dissemination itself. This means every child carries genes from their parents all the way back to Prophet Adam (peace be upon him). The genetic processes known in Mendel's theory can harmonize with the clear signals from the Qur’an as articulated in Jauhari's interpretation.

Abstract

In the modern era like today, there are still many cases of oppression, both verbally and physically, perpetrated by individuals or groups. This act is known as bullying. This writing analyzes the expressions of verses related to bullying, whether in the form of verbal, physical, or social bullying in the Qur'an. This article is examined qualitatively using a thematic approach. The primary data sources used in this research are contemporary interpretation books with a sociocultural emphasis, namely the Tafsir al-Munîr by Wahbah az-Zuhaylî, Tafsir Al-Azhar by Buya Hamka, and Tafsir Al-Mishbah by Quraish Shihab. The research results show that from 11 verses of the Qur'an related to bullying, there are at least three (3) types of bullying, namely verbal, physical, and social. The commentators explain that bullying includes mocking, spreading false news, giving bad nicknames, and exposing someone's shame or secrets. Although the model of bullying in this era has evolved into cyberbullying, these actions remain a form of criminal behavior as harmful as traditional bullying in the real world.

Abstract

This research examines the history and bibliography of the Qur'anic chain of transmission (sanad) of Riwayat Hafs and the process of granting the Qur'anic certificate (ijazah) to participants in the Qur'anic Sanad certificate program at the Itqan Education Foundation, a private institution officially established in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009. This field research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods with a historical approach. It examines historical sources related to the Qur'anic chain of transmission (sanad) of Riwayat Hafs, which is popular among Muslims in Malaysia. Data collection was conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study conclude that the genealogy of the Qur'anic chain of transmission (sanad) studied by the author is considered to be of high quality, requiring strict qualifications and a verification process to obtain this certificate. Until in the end, only participants who memorize the entire Al-Qur'an and fulfill all the qualifications can receive a diploma from the Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Kata mukjizat Al-Qur’an dewasa ini sering kali dikaitkan dengan penemuan-penemuan terbaru oleh para ilmuan yang kemudian diklaim bahwa hal tersebut telah dinyatakan dalam Al-Qur’an sejak lama. Namun demikian, i’jâz ‘ilmy yang akhir-akhir ini sering dibicarakan bukanlah satu-satunya bentuk i’jâz dalam Al-Qur’an. Secara global, ulama membagi i’jâz Al-Qur’an kepada tiga aspek. Salah satunya adalah aspek bahasa atau lughawi. Bahkan, para ulama jauh lebih dahulu mengungkap aspek i’jâz lughowiy ini dibanding dua aspek lainnya, yaitu aspek ‘ilmiy dan tasyrî’iy. Kajian i’jaz lughawi mulai berkembang, namun masih berupa pengantar akan pentingnya ilmu ini, belum menghasilkan produk tafsir lughawi secara lengkap, karya tafsir lengkap bercorak lughawi baru muncul pada ke-8 H. Abu Ja’far bin Az-Zubair (w. 708 H). Selanjutnya, pada abad ke-9 muncul pula Burhanuddin al-Biqa’i (w 809 H) menulis tafsir lengkap tentang kebersinambungan ayat dan surat dengan judul nazhmud-duror fi tanasubil ayati was-suwar. Diantara ulama tafsir yang telah mencurahkan perhatian sangat tinggi dalam tema kajian yang sama adalah Syaikh Ali bin Ahmad al-Mahaimy. Ia merupakan seorang ulama berasal dari India, Kajian I’jaz Al-Qur’an dari sisi lughowiy, nampaknya merupakan tren yang cukup menarik pada abad ke-9 H di masa hidup al-Mahaimy. Dalam penelitian ini penulis akan mengkaji terhadap metodologi Ali bin Ahmad Al-Mahaimy dalam kitab tafsir Tabshîru Ar-Rahmân wa Taysîru Al-Mannân bi ba’dhi mâ yusyîru ilâ I’jâzi Al-Qur’ân. Dengan metode deskriptif-analitis penulis akan memaparkan dan menguraikan dimensi i’jaz Al-Qur’an. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan, Unsur-unsur i’jaz Al-Qur’an dalam kitab tafsir al-Mahaimy, beliau menggunakan ilmu munasabat yang sangat kental. Dalam menuangkan ilmu munasabat-nya ia berprinsip untuk tidak terlalu berpanjang-panjang hingga jatuh pada takalluf, cacat dan dapat mendatangkan kebosanan pembaca.

Abstract

Mayoritas ulama mewajibkan penulisan Al-Qur’an dengan Rasm Usmani Karena ilmu rasm Usmani - sebagaimana ilmu qiraat - saling berkaitan dan tidak bisa lepas dari Al-Qur’an. Terlepas dari tauqīfī atau ijtihādīnya penulisan Al-Qur’an dengan rasm Usmani, nyatanya banyak sekali kata-kata dalam Al-Qu’an yang ditulis berbeda meski berasal dari kata yang sama. Karena setiap kata dalam Al-Qur’an adalah mukjizat, maka munculah beragam produk penafsiran. Dalam memproduksi penafsiran sebagian ulama ada yang memfokuskan pada sisi petunjuk atau pesan dari makna batin atau tersirat (esoterik). Maka dalam penelitian ini penulis mengkaji bagaiman penafsiran Al-Qurṭubī dalam kitabnya al-Jāmiʻ li Aḥkām Al-Qur’ān dan Al-Qusyairī dalam kitabnya Laṭāif al-Isyārāt, yang terkait perbedaan rasm Usmani. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap makna esoterik (batin) atau isyarat makna lain yang terdapat pada kedua kitab tersebut dikaitkan dengan perbedaan rasm Usmani. Perbedaan kata dalam rasm Usmani sangatlah banyak, sebab itu penulis hanya memfokuskan penelitian dari penggunaan Tā’ Marbūṭah dan Tā’ Maftūḥah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, berbasis riset kepustakaan sebagai sumber utama. Adapun rujukan utama penelitian ini adalah kitab Al-Jāmiʻ li Aḥkām Al-Qur’ān dan Laṭāif Al-Isyārāt menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-analisis, yang kemudian mengkomparasikan kedua kitab tersebut didukung penjelasan dari kitab lainnya. Adapun konklusi (hasil) penelitian ini, penulis berkesimpulan bahwa penafsiran Al-Qurṭubī dalam kitabnya Al-Jāmiʻ li Aḥkām Al-Qur’ān dan Al-Qusyairī dalam kitabnya Laṭāif Al-Isyārāt terdapat makna esoterik (makna batin) yang menyebabkan penulisan huruf akhir Tā’ Ta’nīṡ di beberapa kata yang sama dalam Al-Qur’an ditulis Marbūṭah dan di lain tempat ditulis Maftūḥah, yang sebagian besar adanya kesesuaian penulisan rasm Usmani pendapat al-Dānī dan Abū Dāwud.
