Abstract

Online food delivery (OFD) has changed how a restaurant business promote itself. Not only to improve its presences on the mobile internet but also to open an unprecedented sales ordering channel(s). This study aims to highlight issues and lessons learned during our efforts to register various restaurant business in online food delivery setting. We have registered as many as 12 restaurant businesses in Surabaya into both Go Food and Grab Food platforms. Here, Go Food and Grab Food are two leading providers for food deliver platform in Indonesia. Along with OFD, we also register those companies into Google Platform which is the largest business listing worldwide. Both OFD and Google Platform are intended to enhance sales performances. This study outlines the imposed procedures of the two platforms and examines the bottleneck points. Also, we gauge any potential issues from restaurant owners to satisfy the platform’s requirements. Later, we make a matrix that lists all arising problems that slack the registration processes. In the end of the study, we have found that business owner distrust is the major obstacle to incorporate his/her business into a food delivery app platform.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dengan berbagai macam makanan daerah yang beraneka macam, salah satunya adalah buah tangan/oleh-oleh. Namun, berbagai macam tantangan seperti persaingan bisnis dan pandemi COVID-19 berdampak cukup besar dalam industri pariwisata dan oleh-oleh. Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang bergerak di sektor oleh-oleh mengalami kendala dan penurunan transaksi dalam bisnisnya. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas UMKM di sektor oleh-oleh dengan platform website yang dikembangkan dengan metode design thinking. Metode tersebut dipilih berdasarkan kondisi saat ini, dimana masyarakat gemar mencari informasi yang lengkap sebelum melakukan pembelian produk. Metode pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat ini diawali dengan tahap analisis kebutuhan mitra dan pengguna, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan tahap desain arsitektur website, pengembangan website, uji coba website, dan diakhiri dengan tahap sosialisasi dan pendampingan penggunaan website kepada mitra. Hasil program pengabdian masyarakat ini mampu membantu UMKM di sektor oleh-oleh untuk melakukan pemasaran produk mereka secara online, dan memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka. Bagi calon pelanggan, design thinking method website ini memungkinkan pencarian informasi terkait harga, rasa, komposisi, manfaat dan informasi lainnya terkait produk yang ditawarkan oleh mitra.

Abstract

It doesn't feel like the Covid-19 pandemic that has lasted for 2 years has changed the learning model that we have known so far, namely face-to-face, although the blended learning model that combines conventional models with online learning has been introduced as an evolutionary model, but with the pandemic forcing it to happen. for teachers to immediately adapt and implement it in the schools where they teach as a need that must be met considering the demands of the community who want educators and educational institutions to be able to provide quality education in the midst of this crisis. As an affected educational institution, SMK PGRI Kuwu strives to continue to provide quality learning by applying the blended learning model (Purnomo et al., 2016). After communicating with the service team from PGRI Semarang University, consensus was obtained that the problems faced by partners could more or less be solved by implementing information technology in learning, one of which was the introduction of interactive learning media Wordwall with additional Gamification learning models (Putri, 2020). The application and learning model itself uses a Cloud system or Cloud Computing where between teachers and beneficiaries of learning or students can use information technology devices that vary depending on availability, and do not require device specifications with special and updated technology, the most important thing is the availability of internet network connectivity. Sari Yarza, 2021). Wordwall specifically can be used to create learning media such as quizzes, matchmaking, pairing, anagrams, word randomization, word search, word grouping, and several other additional features such as questions and answer results that can be printed on paper making it easier for teachers and students to document results. work as a task (Hasram, 2021). Through this introduction activity or PKM (Community Partnership Program), it is hoped that teachers and lecturers at SMK PGRI Kuwu can implement it in their learning classes, and are expected to be able to overcome the learning gap that has occurred as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the ongoing activities in the form of mentoring and evaluation training, carried out for 3 days which were carried out in a blended manner (offline and online) with the results and responses of the activity participants showing positive indications as indicated by the reapitulation of the questionnaire results of participants' responses to this training activity which showed an average result of 3, 85 on a scale of 4 which indicates a good response or a positive response to the implementation of the training activities.

Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman, teknologi digital semakin canggih dan menjadi penting bagi sektor industri dalam mengembangkan industrinya dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Indonesia mempunyai potensi wisata yang besar, sehingga sektor pariwisata pun turut mengikuti tren digitalisasi tersebut. Salah satu daerah yang berpotensi di sektor wisata yaitu Kampung Wisata Lawas Maspati yang berlokasi di Jl. Maspati Gg. VI, Kecamatan Bubutan, Kota Surabaya. Kampung ini merupakan daerah bersejarah yang banyak dikunjungi oleh masyarakat. Namun, dengan terbatasnya jumlah dan kemampuan sumber daya manusia, penggunaan kanal digital untuk manajemen pemasaran di tempat wisata tersebut masih kurang optimal. Meski telah memiliki media sosial, namun kanal tersebut sifatnya hanya dokumentasi kegiatan warga dan belum persuasif untuk mengajak wisatawan berkunjung atau membeli produk dari UMKM yang ada. Sementara, pihak manajemen menginginkan adanya peningkatan jumlah wisawatan dan pelanggan produk. Media sosial seperti Instagram, TikTok, dan berbagai media sosial lainnya akan digunakan sebagai media promosi dan dianalisis kecocokannya dengan segmen wisatawan dan pelanggan produk Kampung Lawas Maspati. Dalam penyampaian informasi melalui media tersebut, tim merumuskan dan menyediakan timeline konten promosi dan membuatkan konten pilot untuk perbaikan media sosial, serta membuatkan panduan branding agar ke depannya pengurus menjadi mandiri untuk mengunggah materi promosi di media sosial.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi digital memberikan dampak terhadap perkembangan bisnis UMKM. Saat ini semakin banyak UMKM yang peduli dengan keberlanjtan dengan menekankan pada produk-produk mereka yang ramah lingkungan (eco-friendly products). UMKM tersebut menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mendorong akselerasi green economy. Penggunaan produk ramah lingkungan dapat membantu mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dan iklim, sementara bisnis digital dapat membantu mempercepat pertumbuhan UMKM dengan memperluas jangkauan pasar. Permasalahan yang muncul sekarang yakni masih sedikitnya UMKM eco-friendly yang memanfaatkan teknologi dengan optimal dalam proses promosi produknya. Salah satu UMKM tersebut adalah Shantika Fashion yang memiliki produk fashion eco-print. Atas permasalahan tersebut, perlu diimplementasikannya konsep pemasaran melalui media sosial dan penjualan pada e-commerce untuk meningkatkan brand awareness, mendapatkan umpan balik, serta membangun hubungan dan memudahkan interaksi dengan pelanggan. Hal ini dilakukan dengan metode design thinking yang berfokus pada pengembangan pemasaran berdasarkan kondisi nyata yang terjadi pada Shantika Fashion. Pada penerapannya, Shantika Fashion mengalami peningkatan pengikut media sosial hingga 250% dan menjangkau lebih dari 16.000 akun. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memberikan kemudahan untuk Shantika Fashion dalam menyampaikan produk dan kegiatan yang diikuti ke masyarakat yang lebih luas melalui media sosial.

Tanjungan Village is a tourist village that has large potential land for farming. The problem that exists in this village is that land use is less than optimal for activities such as farming, so it is necessary to provide assistance to the community which aims to increase land use more effectively than before for planting various vegetable crops by the people of Tanjungan Village.

Abstract

This study explores optimizing Yogyakarta's chocolate production system facility layout to enhance laboratory-scale production to mass production at the UGM Field Research Center laboratory. The laboratory layout was optimized based on expert assessments and the ALDEP algorithm and compared with the current layout using distance-based objective values. Both layouts were compared to highlight the importance of qualitative aspects in determining workstation positions, in addition to quantitative aspects. The distance-based analysis results indicate that the ALDEP layout outperforms the current layout, and the layout was designed with expert assessments, showing the highest efficiency and lowest material handling costs, with an estimated improvement of 23% over the current layout. Although the proposed expert-assessed layout performed worse, it met stakeholder requirements such as safety and ease of observation. Therefore, future research must consider other aspects beyond costs in evaluation metrics to determine the best layout. Abstract

Proses pencatatan pembayaran keuangan siswa di SMK Farmasi Tangerang 1 saat ini masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga prosesnya kurang efisien dan akurat. Hal ini menyebabkan kesulitan dalam melakukan pelaporan data pembayaran dan pengolahan data pembayaran secara keseluruhan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem aplikasi pengolahan data pembayaran siswa berbasis web menggunakan metode Extreme Programming. Dalam implementasi, sistem ini dibangun dengan menggunakan React JS untuk menciptakan antarmuka pengguna yang responsif dan dinamis, serta Firebase sebagai database untuk penyimpanan dan pengolahan data pembayaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi pustaka, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem aplikasi pengolahan data pembayaran siswa berbasis web menggunakan metode Extreme Programming dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi proses pengolahan data pembayaran. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya peningkatan kecepatan proses pengolahan data pembayaran, berkurangnya kesalahan dalam proses pengolahan data pembayaran, dan peningkatan kemudahan dalam melakukan pelaporan data pembayaran. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem aplikasi pengolahan data pembayaran siswa berbasis web menggunakan metode Extreme Programming yang dapat menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk mengatasi permasalahan pengolahan data pembayaran siswa di SMK Farmasi Tangerang 1.

Abstract

In the increasingly complex digital era, Shadow IT refers to using software, applications, or technology services without formal approval from an organization’s IT department. While it offers flexibility and fosters innovation, Shadow IT poses significant risks to data quality, potentially disrupting decision-making processes and organizational operations. This study adopts a case study approach involving multiple organizations to explore practical strategies for controlling Shadow IT to maintain data quality. Through qualitative analysis, including in-depth interviews and observations, the research identifies four key control mechanisms: incentivizing accurate reporting, ensuring data validity by relying on trustworthy sources, fostering collaborative inspections to enhance accuracy, and implementing structured policies to guide the responsible use of Shadow IT. The study also highlights two critical challenges in controlling Shadow IT: high relational trust between supervisors and subordinates and the advanced competence of staff. Although these factors may enhance efficiency, they can weaken oversight, ultimately compromising data quality. This research contributes to the information systems literature by proposing mechanisms to control Shadow IT and identifying factors undermining such control efforts.

Abstract

The widespread adoption of Shadow IT, which refers to the use of applications and systems without explicit IT department approval, has become a critical concern. This concern is supported by 69% of tech executives, identifying it as a top issue in SaaS adoption, and 65% of remote workers regularly using unauthorized IT solutions. While Shadow IT can enhance productivity, it raises significant risks through perceived dependency, potentially leading to increased operational costs, data breaches, and compliance violations. Despite extensive research on Shadow IT’s security implications, a critical gap exists in understanding its relationship with perceived dependency and subsequent organizational risks. This study explores this relationship using a qualitative case study approach, collecting data through interviews and organizational observations. The data are analyzed using open coding methods and interpreted through the Work System Theory (WST) to examine interactions between work system elements. The findings reveal four forms of perceived dependency: process efficiency, employee cognition, data quality, and absence of dependency. Based on these findings, the key risk factors organizations need to consider are dependency on process efficiency and the cognitive dependency of employees. These insights provide organizations with evidence-based strategies for mitigating the negative impacts of Shadow IT-related dependencies while maintaining operational efficiency.
