The result of the descriptive analysis are as the followings. The profile of generic competencies needed by AEW's according to the expert's judgement and the document analysis are shown at the rank of Language and communication, Planning and organizing activities, Scientific and technological understanding, Problem solving, Personal and interpersonal, Mathematics, and Cultural understanding. Six of those generic competencies are most important categories, but that Cultural understanding is important category. Language and communication, Planning and organizing activities, Scientific and Technological understanding, and Problem solving were validated in field. The result of the validation shows that four of the generic competencies are frequently experienced by persons or groups of AEW's. The result of the Discriminant Test shows that there is no significant difference between the results of the groups of AEW's experience in field. The result of Product-moment correlation shows that the most of AEW's population has used the generic competencies on high category. Abstract

Research was conducted to study the effect of blanching on drying rate, and the free fatty acid content of copra. Blanching of copra was performed before drying. The moisture contents of copra determined before and during drying; while free fatty acids were only determined after drying. The experimental design used in the experiment was Completely Randomized Design, which consists of two factor namely the blanching periods i.e. 0; 5; 10 and 15 minutes, and the blanching methods i.e. steam blanching at atmospheric pressure and dipping in boiling water. The result shows that the blanching treatment increases the drying rate, and reduces the free fatty acid contents. Blanching time affect both water evaporation rate and free fatty acid contents, however dipping in boiling water for 15 minutes inhibit water evaporation. Steam blanching treatment at atmospheric pressure for 15 minutes on the raw materials, produces the best copra, which has the greatest drying rate and the least free fatry acid as well.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a systematic approach for prioritizing road maintenance on Cokroaminoto Road in Bojonegoro by combining the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) with PKRMS data. The research identifies eight key criteria essential for prioritizing maintenance activities, including road damage, traffic volume, safety, construction costs, implementation duration, accessibility, and weather conditions. AHP was used to assign weights to these criteria, with safety emerging as the most critical factor. The results show that road sections with high traffic intensity and significant deterioration are prioritized for preventive maintenance, especially in areas with high accident risks. By integrating technical data from the PKRMS with the AHP methodology, this study offers a transparent and objective decision-making model for road management. The findings highlight the importance of focusing on preventive maintenance to mitigate future rehabilitation costs and extend the service life of roads. This research provides valuable insights for efficient resource allocation and offers a replicable model for road infrastructure management in other regions with similar challenges.
