Abstract

Keamanan penerbangan merupakan aspek penting dalam industri penerbangan yang memerlukan perhatian serius. Ancaman dan insiden di sektor ini tidak hanya berpotensi merugikan secara materiil, tetapi juga mengancam keselamatan penumpang dan awak pesawat. Dalam konteks ini, peran Aviation Security (AVSEC) sangat vital, dengan tugasnya dalam menerapkan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP), memastikan kelengkapan peralatan keamanan, dan memberikan pelatihan kepada petugasnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keamanan penerbangan, khususnya penerapan SOP, kelengkapan peralatan keamanan, dan program pelatihan bagi petugas AVSEC. Melalui tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini mengungkap hubungan antara ketiga faktor tersebut dengan keamanan penerbangan. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SOP yang ketat, peralatan keamanan yang memadai, dan pelatihan yang efektif dapat meningkatkan tingkat keamanan di bandara. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi pemangku kepentingan dalam industri penerbangan untuk meningkatkan standar keamanan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of services, facilities, and flight security on passenger satisfaction at airports. The quality of service, completeness of facilities, and flight safety assurance are important factors that can affect the level of passenger satisfaction. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods with a focus on literature studies to examine in depth the related theories and investigate the relationship and impact of the main variables in the study. The results showed that service, facilities, and flight security simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on passenger satisfaction with different percentage figures depending on the context and location of the airport concerned. Improving service quality, providing adequate facilities, and improving flight security need to be continuously pursued by airport managers to achieve optimal satisfaction for passengers. This research contributes as input for the development of airports that are oriented towards customer satisfaction. Keywords: services, facilities, flight security, passenger satisfaction, airports

Abstract

Air transport is a type of transport system that is widely used for passengers and cargo, both domestic and international. Indonesia is one of the countries that strongly supports the development of air transport. The growth of air transportation and technological development every year is getting faster, therefore, this research aims to analyse the capacity and optimisation of aprons at airports. The analysis is conducted by identifying the current apron capacity, forecasting future apron requirements, and determining the necessary optimisation measures. This study uses aircraft movement data from 2014 to 2020, and applies the linear regression method to project aircraft movements in 2023 and 2028. Three forecasting scenarios were used to handle outlier data due to events such as ticket fare increases and the COVID-19 pandemic. The analysis results show that the current apron capacity is sufficient, but will exceed capacity in the coming year. Therefore, additional parking stands are recommended as a long-term optimisation measure. This research provides important insights for airport facility development planning to accommodate the continuous increase in air traffic. Thus, the addition of parking stands and other optimisation measures are necessary to maintain the smooth operation of the airport in the future and ensure that the airport facilities can accommodate the increasing air traffic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesesuaian marka heliport di Bandar Udara Fatmawati Soekarno Bengkulu dengan standar internasional (ICAO Annex 14 Vol. II) dan regulasi nasional (Peraturan Direktur Jenderal Perhubungan Udara Nomor KP 215 Tahun 2019). Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada pentingnya standardisasi marka heliport untuk menjamin keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional, terutama mengingat ketidaksesuaian marka dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan dan pelanggaran regulasi. Studi ini berfokus pada marka di area FATO, TLOF, dan Safety Area. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif, meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pihak terkait, serta analisis dokumen regulasi. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan teknik gap analysis untuk mengidentifikasi ketidaksesuaian antara kondisi eksisting dan standar yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa marka eksisting pada FATO dan TLOF tidak memenuhi standar minimal yang ditetapkan, sementara Safety Area sudah sesuai. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, peneliti memberikan dua rekomendasi solusi: (1) menurunkan nilai D (D-value) menjadi 9,64 meter untuk menyesuaikan marka eksisting tanpa perlu pembangunan ulang, atau (2) melakukan perbaikan fisik heliport agar sesuai dengan standar. Rekomendasi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola bandara dalam meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi operasional heliport.

Abstract

Airports have a significant role in supporting the smoothness and comfort of air transportation. The quality of good service performance at the airport is a crucial factor in improving passenger satisfaction. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of performance and the effect of airport service quality on passenger satisfaction at Juwata Tarakan International Airport. Service quality measurement is based on five dimensions, namely: tangibles, empathy, reliability, assurance and responsiveness, which are further elaborated into 37 indicators. Satisfaction is measured based on passenger perceptions based on their interests/expectations and experiences of airport performance. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with a survey approach. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to passengers at Juwata Tarakan International Airport. Data analysis uses statistical tools to find the effect and level of conformity. Meanwhile, to determine the ranking of each service quality indicator using a Cartesian diagram. From data processing and analysis, the results show that there is a positive and significant influence between the quality of airport services on passenger satisfaction. There are 17 indicators that are considered to perform below average, 4 of which are considered important by passengers. This provides implications for airport managers, to further improve their performance, especially on 4 indicators of airport service quality

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dan kelayakan penambahan storage area baru bagi Passenger Boarding Stairs (PBS) guna meningkatkan keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan di Bandara Internasional Minangkabau (BIM). Kondisi eksisting menunjukkan bahwa lokasi penyimpanan PBS di terminal lama kurang strategis untuk melayani parking stand 9–14, karena harus melewati jalur padat di belakang apron, sehingga menimbulkan risiko keselamatan dan keterlambatan operasional. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa area kosong di sekitar terminal kargo berpotensi dijadikan storage area baru seluas ±500 m² yang dapat menampung empat unit PBS. Penempatan ini dinilai lebih efisien, memperpendek jarak tempuh, serta mengurangi risiko tabrakan antarperalatan Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Dengan demikian, penambahan storage area baru di lokasi tersebut menjadi solusi strategis dalam mendukung efisiensi operasional, keselamatan kerja, dan keamanan penerbangan di Bandara Internasional Minangkabau.

Abstract

Abstract: This paper is a literature study. We collected all the literature related to aircraft accident compensation mechanisms, analyzed relevant regulations and standards, identifying things that could still be improved, and formulated recommendations for regulatory mechanisms that we thought would be more optimal. The results of our study indicate that it is necessary to consider reviewing regulations regarding carrier responsibility and further research regarding product liability to increase public confidence in the civil aviation industry. This research is expected to assist the Ministry of Transportation in making regulations related to aircraft accident compensation procedures for commercial air transportation in Indonesia. In addition, it is hoped that this study will also provide a platform for a more in-depth study of accident compensation in the civil aviation sector. Abstrak: Tulisan ini adalah sebuah studi Pustaka. Kami mengumpulkan semua literatur yang terkait dengan mekanisme kompensasi kecelakaan pesawat, menganalisa peraturan dan standar yang relevan, mengidentifikasi hal-hal yang masih dapat ditingkatkan, dan merumuskan rekomendasi mekanisme pengaturan yang menurut kami akan lebih optimal. Hasil studi kami menunjukkan bahwa perlu dipertimbangkan untuk mereviu peraturan terkait tanggung jawab pengangkut dan perlu dibuat penelitian lebih lanjut terkait tanggung jawab produk (product liability) untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan publik terhadap industri penerbangan sipil. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu Kementerian Perhubungan dalam membuat peraturan terkait prosedur kompensasi kecelakaan pesawat udara untuk angkutan udara niaga di Indonesia. Selain itu, studi ini diharapkan juga memberikan platform bagi studi lebih mendalam tentang kompensasi kecelakaan di sektor penerbangan sipil.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pengetahuan khususnya informasi tentang dunia penerbangan terkait dengan Kawasan Keselamatan Operasi Penerbangan (KKOP) yang merupakan wilayah daratan dan/atau perairan dan ruang udara di sekitar bandar udara yang dipergunakan untuk kegiatan operasi penerbangan dalam rangka menjamin keselamatan penerbangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode sosialisasi kepada masyarakat sekitar Bandar Udara Budiarto dan Kawasan kampus Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug dengan melibatkan tokoh masyarakat dan pemuda pada Desa Rancagong, Kecamatan Legok, Kabupaten Tangerang, Provinsi Banten selama satu hari. Sosialisasi ini juga melibatkan Taruna Program Studi Diploma III Operasi Bandar Udara Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug secara aktif menyampaikan materi didampingi para dosen dengan harapan Taruna dapat secara langsung berinteraksi dengan masyarakat sekitar di dalam menyampaikan ilmu yang telah dipelajari di kampus. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah penyebaran pengetahuan Kawasan Keselamatan Operasi Penerbangan kepada dua puluh lima warga Desa Rancagong sehingga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kewaspadaan masyarakat sekitar Bandar Udara Budiarto dan kampus Politeknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug ketika beraktifitas di sekitar Kawasan operasi penerbangan.

Abstract

Transportation or people travel, this term used by Gugug Tugas Percepatan Penanganan Covid-19 is people mobility from area to another area with administrative boundry as province/district/city and arrival form abroad (repatriation) enter the territory of Republikc of Indonesia by using prival vehicle or public transport land/railways/sea and by air. The provisons of land transportation and air transportation to be regulated for the effort of Covid-19 accelartion handling be realized and in other hands the piepole mobility still on going for the purpose of the run of economics. How this can be run side by side ?. of course there are a matters to be adjust, for example about behavior of trasnportaion service user that shall be adjust to new protocol in pandemic periode that different with normal behavior. From transportation operator side also adjust required, Beside of new protocol how to embark and disembark people the capacity of transportation vehicle adjust required also and can not be used according to manufacturer spesifications. This matter not so easy for the user or transportation operator relating to investment and operational of trasnprtation operator. In this community service focused to how to reached equilibrium between pandemic handling effort and the economy from land transportation and air transportation point of view.

Abstract

Previous research or relevant research is very important in a research or scientific article. Previous research or relevant research serves to strengthen the theory and phenomena of relationships or influences between variables. This article reviews the factors that influence Aircraft Passenger Satisfaction, namely the Quality of Terminal Facilities, the Quality of Service and the Effect of Waiting Time and Price on an Aircraft Passenger Service Quality literature study. The purpose of writing this article is to build a hypothesis of the influence between variables to be used in further research. The results of this literature review article indicate that there is (1) an influence of the quality of terminal facilities on Aircraft Passenger Satisfaction, (2) an influence of Service Quality on Aircraft Passenger Satisfaction, and (3) an influence of Waiting Time and Price on Aircraft Passenger Satisfaction
