Abstract

In the context of the ongoing digital transformation of education, particularly in Islamic higher education in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, the integration of information and communication technology (ICT) presents both opportunities and challenges. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of online learning in three Islamic universities during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on how Islamic values and Banjar local wisdom are integrated into digital education. A qualitative case study approach was used, employing the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Data were gathered through interviews, observations, and document analysis from lecturers, policymakers, and students at UIN Antasari Banjarmasin, STAI Rasyidiyah Khalidiyah Amuntai, and STAI Al-Falah Banjarbaru. The findings reveal varied levels of preparedness and success in implementing online learning, with UIN Antasari demonstrating a more comprehensive approach, supported by better infrastructure and effective digital platforms. In contrast, private institutions faced challenges related to internet access, limited human resources, and inadequate technological infrastructure. Despite these disparities, all institutions made efforts to incorporate Islamic values such as ta'awun (mutual assistance) and akhlaq (good character), along with Banjar local wisdom, into their pedagogical approaches. The study highlights the importance of continuous evaluation and investment in infrastructure to ensure that digital transformation in Islamic higher education remains inclusive, culturally relevant, and aligned with local values.

Abstract

Vocational education produces work-ready graduates who have skills according to the needs of the world of work. In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, there were massive changes in various industries and the needs and abilities of workers. The Religious Education course is one of the Personality Development Courses (MPK). Based on the 2006 Director General of Higher Education Decree, every university can develop MPK signs according to their respective characteristics. The method used in this research is a literature study. The vocational curriculum needs to apply blended learning, which integrates face-to-face and online learning, to build graduates' abilities and skills more effectively. The curriculum must also include mastery of 4.0 competencies such as data, technological, and human literacy. For the vocational education curriculum to have a broad impact, the government, educational institutions, and industry must work together to revitalize the approach and content of the vocational education curriculum. Teachers must also be able to organize good learning to produce optimal graduate performance.

Abstract

The study aimed to develop the UT-10 Learning Model to enrich the character profiles of Rahmatan lil'Alamin students within South Kalimantan's Madrasah Ibtidaiyah institutions. The research followed a structured methodology involving defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages (4D). The defining phase encompassed thorough analysis and needs assessment across multiple Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, establishing a nuanced understanding of their specific requisites. Moving into the design phase, meticulous planning crafted a model centered on enhancing student character profiles, integrating values like Ta'addub and Qudwah while incorporating local knowledge. Validation by experts affirmed the model's feasibility, prompting minor adjustments that were duly integrated. Through trials and large-scale tests across diverse locations, the UT-10 model consistently proved effective, scoring an average of 89.09% in fortifying students' character profiles. Notably, pivotal stages within the model, particularly the Uswah and Ta'lim phases, demonstrated potential in nurturing essential character traits among students. In conclusion, this research showcased the adaptability and efficacy of the UT-10 Learning Model in fostering holistic student development within Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, paving the way for a comprehensive educational approach focused on enhancing character profiles.

Abstract

Emergent literacy is a significant foundation for early childhood literacy development; however, its implementation in non-formal education spaces, such as public libraries, remains a relatively under-researched area. The present study aims to investigate the implementation of the emergent literacy programme at Kids Library KM 6 Banjarmasin Library as an effort to support the development of children's pre-literacy skills. A qualitative approach was adopted, utilising a case study strategy to collect data through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Thematic analysis techniques were employed to analyse the collected data. The findings indicate that the programme has been meticulously conceived and methodically executed through the utilisation of storytelling activities, reading aloud, and the provision of educational play facilities, which collectively foster children's literacy development. Interactions between children, facilitators and the library environment form a holistic literacy experience. The evaluation process remains informal, yet it has been observed to demonstrate children's active engagement and an enhancement in their interest in reading. The findings of this study underscore the significance of fortifying community-based early childhood literacy through the incorporation of play-based methodologies, multisensory media, and the pivotal role of librarians as facilitators. The findings of this study make theoretical and practical contributions to the development of early childhood literacy policies and services in non-formal education institutions.

Abstract

ABSTRACTMoral damage to children is caused by a lack of religious education in children. Religious education can be a solution to the problem of children's moral decay. With the existence of religious education, it is hoped that children can apply good moral values, manners, norms and ethics in everyday life. As a form of responsibility for education for children from an early age, this paper will try to provide thoughts related to these issues. To overcome this problem, competency-based and production-oriented digital teaching materials were developed that were valid and suitable for use in learning activities and for student independent learning. The methodology used is development with the final product in the form of a digital textbook developed with the ADDIE model. The approach used is a competency-based and production-oriented learning approach. Based on the analysis of the data obtained from the validation questionnaire, the percentage of validation of material experts was 77.6%, media experts were 80.6%, individual trials were 80%, small group trials were 81.9%, field trials were 82, 4%. The overall results indicate that the digital-based Islamic religious education learning module has the feasibility and validity to be used in Islamic Religious Education learning activities.KEYWORDS: Learning Module; Moral; Islamic education; Digital. ABSTRAK Kerusakan moral pada anak disebabkan oleh kurangnya pendidikan agama pada anak. Pendidikan agama dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan kerusakan moral anak. Dengan adanya Pendidikan agama, diharapkan anak dapat menerapkan nilai-nilai moral, sopan santun, norma dan etika yang baik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab dari pendidikan untuk anak sejak dini maka tulisan ini akan mencoba memberikan pemikiran yang berkaitan dengan persoalan tersebut. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dikembangkanlah bahan ajar digital berbasis kompetensi dan berorientasi produksi yang valid dan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran maupun untuk belajar mandiri siswa. Metodelogi yang digunakan adalah  pengembangan dengan produk akhir berupa buku ajar digital yang dikembangkan dengan model ADDIE. Adapun pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis kompetensi dan berorientasi pada produksi. Berdasarkan analisis data yang diperoleh dari angket validasi, persentase validasi ahli materi sebesar 77,6%, ahli media sebesar 80,6%, uji coba perorangan sebesar 80%, uji coba kelompok kecil sebesar 81,9%, uji coba lapangan sebesar 82,4%. Hasil keseluruhan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam berbasis digital memiliki kelayakan dan kevalidan untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam.KATA KUNCI: Modul Pembelajaran; Moral; Pendidikan Agama Islam; Digital.

Abstract

Artikel ini meneliti potensi transformasi teknologi dalam mendidik anak usia dini, terutama yang mengalami keterlambatan bicara. Fokus utamanya adalah mengevaluasi dampak Aplikasi "BERKA" yang menggunakan Augmented Reality pada perkembangan bahasa, pemahaman kosakata, dan struktur kalimat anak-anak tersebut. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang kuat dan mengadopsi Technology Acceptance Model. Efektivitas Aplikasi "BERKA" dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan anak usia dini dinilai dalam penelitian ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Temuan yang diperoleh memberikan bukti yang signifikan, menunjukkan perbedaan yang substansial antara kelompok yang menggunakan Aplikasi "BERKA" dengan Augmented Reality dan kelompok kontrol yang menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan bahwa Asymp. Sing. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,005 sehingga p < 0,05 atau 0,005 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara pre-test dengan post-test yang mengalami kenaikan nilai skornya pada hasil post-test sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Aplikasi Berka (Belajar Kata) Berbasis “Augmented Reality” efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan Pemahaman Kosa Kata Anak yang mengalami keterlambatan berbicara.
