Abstract

Nowadays, the ability of students in solving problems is very important. The teacher as a facilitator must present learning that is interesting and easy to understand. One alternative that can be done is to apply a problem-based learning model. This study aims to determine whether there is a significant improvement in the mathematical problem-solving ability of fifth-grade students of Aisyiyah Metro Elementary School after problem-based learning is applied. This research was conducted using a quantitative research method with the type of experimental research and using a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The sample in this study was the fifth-grade students of Aisyiyah Metro Elementary School with a total of 37 students divided into 2 classes, namely the experimental and the control class. Data collection techniques in this study used three methods, namely: observation, problem-solving ability tests, and documentation. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant increase in mathematical problem-solving ability in classes using problem-based learning compared to classes using conventional learning.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance students' awareness and role as agents of change in the development of human resources towards the Golden Indonesia 2045. The seminar held at SMA Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro on January 6, 2025, involved 150 students. The method used was an educational approach involving leadership training, group discussions, and providing materials about the importance of students' contribution to social change. The results of this activity showed an increase in students' understanding of social responsibility and leadership, as well as the emergence of local leaders among students who are ready to actively contribute to society. Additionally, this activity successfully changed students' behavior in increasing social participation and their awareness of the importance of sustainable development. This seminar is expected to serve as a model for wider community service activities in the future, involving more student communities in realizing the Golden Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

The utilization of technology in education has been increasingly developed, one of which is the use of chatbots in mathematics learning in elementary schools. This study aims to analyze the impact of chatbot usage on students' understanding of mathematics, learning independence, and time management. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by reviewing various recent studies related to the implementation of chatbots in learning. The findings indicate that the use of chatbots can enhance students' understanding of mathematical concepts, strengthen learning independence, and help students manage their learning time more effectively. Chatbots provide opportunities for students to learn independently, give real-time feedback, and offer flexibility in learning time. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of integrating technology, specifically chatbots, to support more interactive and adaptive mathematics learning in elementary schools. The study also provides recommendations for further development of educational technology to improve the quality of future learning.

Abstract

Kajian mengenai pembelajaran sosial dan emosional dalam pendidikan dasar berkembang pesat secara global, namun sintesis sistematis yang mengintegrasikan bukti internasional dan konteks Indonesia masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak pembelajaran sosial dan emosional terhadap capaian akademik, regulasi emosi, perilaku sosial, serta implikasi implementatif dalam pendidikan dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur sistematis terhadap artikel terindeks tahun 2015–2025 dengan analisis sintesis tematik. Sebanyak 65 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa implementasi yang sistematis dan berkelanjutan meningkatkan literasi dan numerasi melalui penguatan regulasi diri, memperkuat empati dan perilaku prososial, serta membangun iklim kelas yang positif. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi bukti global dengan analisis implikasi kebijakan dalam kerangka Kurikulum Merdeka. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran sosial dan emosional merupakan pendekatan strategis berbasis bukti untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dasar secara holistik.

Abstract

This study examines the Global Unified Hijri Calendar developed by Muhammadiyah as an expression of modernity understood as a project of scientific rationalization. Previous studies mainly discuss Islamic calendar debates from jurisprudential and astronomical perspectives, with limited sociological analysis of religious authority and collective identity. This research aims to analyze how the global calendar reflects the shift toward rational-legal authority and shapes contemporary Islamic social dynamics in Indonesia. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review by analyzing classical and contemporary literature on modernity, rationalization, and Islamic movements. The findings reveal that the calendar institutionalizes scientific calculation as a new basis of religious legitimacy, strengthens Muhammadiyah’s identity as a progressive Islamic movement, and generates both contestation and symbolic integration among Muslims. The study concludes that the calendar represents a sociological manifestation of modernity that redefines religious authority and communal cohesion.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence in the Society 5.0 era encourages the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning to become more innovative and adaptive. However, studies on the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence in Islamic Religious Education remain limited. This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning through Artificial Intelligence in the Society 5.0 era. The research employed a Systematic Literature Review method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected from national and international scientific articles published between 2020 and 2026 through Google Scholar, Scopus, DOAJ, and Garuda. The results indicate that Artificial Intelligence improves learning motivation, learning effectiveness, personalized learning, and interactive learning media development. Artificial Intelligence also supports Islamic digital literacy and learning flexibility. However, its implementation still faces challenges such as low digital literacy among educators, limited infrastructure, and ethical issues in technology use. This study concludes that Artificial Intelligence has significant potential to support the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of mathematics education in building numerical literacy in elementary schools, as well as strategies that can be implemented to enhance students' numerical skills. Numerical literacy is a fundamental skill needed by students to understand, interpret, and use numerical information in daily life. The research method used is library research, reviewing various related literature, including books and recent scholarly journals in the field of mathematics education. The results show that the integration of technology, the use of contextual approaches, and collaborative learning are effective strategies in improving students' numerical literacy. Technology helps simplify the understanding of abstract concepts, while contextual and collaborative approaches make mathematics more relevant and applicable. The implications of these findings are the need for further development in teacher training to integrate technology in teaching and the importance of involving students in more interactive and contextual learning processes. This study also suggests further evaluation of the implementation of these strategies in various educational settings.

Abstract

This research explores the concept of the Ful-Ful approach in deep learning, which integrates three key elements: Mindful Learning, Meaningful Learning, and Joyful Learning. The study aims to systematically review existing literature from the past five years to understand the contribution of these elements in enhancing deep learning processes. The Systematic Literature Review methodology is employed to identify, evaluate, and synthesize relevant studies. The findings highlight that Mindful Learning promotes focused attention and emotional regulation, while Meaningful Learning fosters deeper engagement by linking new knowledge to real-life contexts. Joyful Learning creates a positive and motivating learning environment that boosts intrinsic motivation. The integration of these three elements contributes significantly to a more effective and engaging learning experience. The research underscores the importance of incorporating these elements in educational practices to foster holistic and deep learning outcomes.
