Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality and feasibility of Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in science learning. This type of research is development research. The development of this LKPD consists of seven stages, namely: (1) Potential and Problems, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Design Revision, (6) Product Trial, (7) Product Revision. The instruments used are product expert validation questionnaires, material expert validation questionnaires, teacher and student response questionnaires. The results of the research are from product expert validation testing as much as 97%, material experts as much as 96%. HOTS-based LKPD in science learning is declared to be of good quality for use in learning. The results of testing the quality and feasibility of the teacher and 20 students. Obtained from the teacher's questionnaire responses as much as 96%, student interest questionnaires as much as 97% of 20 students. In conclusion, the results of developing HOTS-based LKPD in science learning are declared feasible as learning aids at SD Negeri Pagejugan 03 Brebes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran teams’ games tournament berbantu media question card untuk meningkatkan pemahaman Tema Kayanya Negeriku siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dalam bentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan One-Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Proyonanggan 14 yang berjumlah 20 siswa tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Instrumen yang digunakan yang digunakan adalah (1) observasi, (2) tes, dan (3) dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji hipotesis (uji-t), dan uji N-Gain. Uji N-Gain digunakan untuk menghitung kemampuan pemahaman tematik siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan nilai posstest setelah diberi perlakuan dibandingkan nilai pretest sebelum diberikannya perlakuan. Hal tersebut dibuktikan pada analisis uji t hasil belajar dengan nilai thitung sebesar 4,36 dan ttabel sebesar 2,022 dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung > ttabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model teams games tournament berbantu media question card efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tematik siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Proyonanggan 14 Batang. Hal tersebut diperkuat dengan Uji N-Gain yang menyatakan peningkatan pemahaman tematik siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Proyonanggan 14 Batang berada dalam kriteria sedang dengan presentase 80%.

Abstract

English needs to be taught from an early age, at the basic education level. Teachers in elementary schools are required to provide an interesting and easy-to-understand English learning experience for students. However, the problem is that not all teachers in elementary schools have that ability. Only a few teachers can create learning English creatively. One of them is a teacher at Kramat Elementary School, Kudus Regency. The teacher at the elementary school taught English on spelling learning material through the media of songs. This research aimed to examine in depth the use of song media to increase elementary school-aged children's spelling learning. This research is qualitative, aiming to deepen the study of spelling learning for elementary school-aged children and their solutions to globally improve the quality of primary school education. This research's object is the teachers and students of SDN Kramat, Kudus Regency with the data collecting technique of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained is then analyzed using Miles & Huberman (1992) analysis technique, including activities of reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that the use of songs in learning English, especially spelling learning in elementary schools, was able to have a positive impact on both teachers and students. The impact for teachers is to provide awareness that creativity is something important for them to improve professionalism. For students, the song is an effective medium to increase learning motivation and understand the material. The conclusion in this study is that the use of song media in spelling learning impacts teacher creativity and increases elementary school students' English learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh penyimpangan moral dan karakter pada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar sehingga perlu adanya pendidikan karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter diperlukan untuk membekali mereka dalam menghadapi kehidupan bermasyarakat agar menjadi manusia yang berakhlak. Pendidikan karakter dapat diajarkan pada anak sekolah dasar melalui film berkarakter, namun tetap dalam pengawasan orang tua dan guru dalam menonton tayangan televisi. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengkaji 18 nilai-nilai karakter yang ada pada film animasi Kubo and the Two Strings. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam film animasi Kubo and the Two Strings. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalalm penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam penelitian deskriptif data yang terkumpul berbentuk kata-kata atau gambar sehingga tidak menekankan pada angka. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SD dan orangtua di Krajan Selatan 1 Mijen Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan didalam film animasi Kubo And The Two Strings dalam setiap tayangannya mengandung nilai karakter yang dapat ditangkap oleh siswa SD dan orangtua. Didalam film animasi Kubo and the Two Strings memiliki nilai-nilai karakter sebanyak enam nilai karakter. Enam nilai karakter tersebut yaitu (1) Nilai Karakter Disiplin, (2) Nilai Karakter Kreatif, (3) Nilai Karakter Mandiri, (4) Nilai Karakter Bersahabat/Komunikatif, (5) Nilai Karakter Cinta Damai, (6) Nilai Karakter Tanggung jawab.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the implementation of the discipline character of fourth grade students in online learning at SD Negeri Tamansari 03, Tlogowungu District. This research method is qualitative research using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. Based on the findings of the research, it can be concluded that the problems in this study are due to changes in the pattern of education from being face-to-face at school to learning at home online. This indirectly restores the function of parents as the main foundation of character education for students, so it is very important the role of parents in accompanying children to study online at home so that appropriate disciplined characters are needed according to student needs. Of the 10 fourth grade students at SD Negeri Tamansari 03, Tlogowungu District, 6 students applied permissive discipline, 4 students applied democratic discipline, and fourth grade students did not apply authoritarian discipline. Based on the results of the research, suggestions that can be conveyed are that students are expected to be able to establish competent relationships with teachers such as being on time in collecting assignments, following from the beginning to the end of online learning by applying the right discipline according to student needs.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the use of song media in thematic learning on language skills at SDN Rejosari 01 Semarang. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Sources of research data came from students and teachers of class IV. The data used in the study were fourth grade teacher interviews and student interviews. Data obtained from observation, interviews, giving questionnaires to students and documentation. The analytical method used is data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research analysis are the song media in thematic learning is used during the core learning activities. As long as the media song is played, students feel happy, interested, and enthusiastic. So that the use of song media can improve students' language skills. This is shown by the results of interviews with teachers and students. This statement is reinforced by the results of student questionnaires showing that 88% of the use of song media on language skills can be seen from the students' ability to increase vocabulary. The results obtained through a questionnaire on the use of song media in thematic learning on language skills were 24 respondents who were filled by students.

Abstract

Character education is very influential with the creation of the character of an individual or student. The early age is a very critical age to build individual character. Instill to the young generation of what it means to be good citizens that is they show their pride and love  of the country. The inculcation of the character of love for the country through national songs is considered as one of the appropriate media to foster a sense of love for the country. Simple song lyrics are easily understood by children so that the meaning of national song lyrics can be conveyed to students, can bring out a high sense of love for the country, national spirit, and build  the nationalism character. The focus of this research is how to educate the character of love for the country through the national song at SDN 02 Rejosari. The purpose of this research is to find out how the character education of the love of the country through the national song at SDN 02 Rejosari Semarang. This type of research is qualitative research, using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of this study were students of VI class who were randomly selected. The results showed that character education for the love of the country through the national song has been implemented at SDN 02 Rejosari. The inculcation of the value of character education for the love of the country through habituation to singing the national song. The habit of singing and understanding the meaning of national song lyrics can influence students by carrying out behaviors / actions that reflect to the love of the country in daily life.

Abstract

This study analyzes the feasibility of Pop Up Book teaching materials for Learning the Puppet story, material for Bima Bungkus, for Class IV students? The purpose of the study was to determine the feasibility of developing teaching materials using Pop Up Book media with Bima Bungkus story material to improve learning of wayang stories. This study uses the Research and Development method, the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. The instrument is content validation assessment questionnaire, construct validation, initial field trials. Data collection was obtained from the results of content validation assessment, construct validation, initial field trials at SD Mranak 1 Demak. Based on the validation test and small-scale trial, Pop-Up Book media got a score from the material expert validation test of 83.2% and 93.7% and media expert validation test of 88%, a very decent category. This research on the development of Pop Up Book media received a teacher response for the learning design aspect of 85% and the communication aspect of 90%, a very feasible category. Pop Up Book media that has been developed is very valid and suitable to be used to improve learning ability of wayang stories for students in grade IV SD N Mranak 01 Demak.

Abstract

Tujuan untuk mengetahui hasil karya batik jumput siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gayamsari 02 Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Kualitatif, karena riset yang bersifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis dengan pendekatan induktif. Instrumen Penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Uji Keabsahan Data peneliti mengecek ulang informasi kepada sumber data. Berdasarkan analisis hasil karya batik jumput siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gayamsari 02 Semarang diketahui bahwa terdapat 7 siswa yang menggunakan teknik ikatan mawar, 2 siswa menggunakan teknik ikatan mawar berganda, 6 siswa menggunakan teknik ikatan mawar berbelit, 3 siswa menggunakan teknik ikatan garis, dan 2 siswa menggunakan teknik ikatan penggumpalan. Teknik ikatan yang paling banyak digunakan adalah teknik ikatan mawar. Adapun hasil pewarnaan kain batik sebagian besar sudah bagus yakni 11 siswa sudah dapat menghasilkan batik jumputan dengan warna yang nyata, sedangkan hasil pewarnaan 9 karya batik siswa lainnya belum merata. Berdasarkan penelitian ini saran yang disampaikan adalah siswa hendaknya meningkatkan kemampuan dalam berkarya batik jumput, dan mengembangkan kreativitas dalam berkarya batik jumput, guru diharapkan dapat membantu siswa mengenal batik jumput lebih mendalam agar detail-detail motif yang diciptakan lebih bagus, dengan adanya kegiatan mengenal batik jumput juga dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif untuk melestarikan budaya bangsa Indonesia.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dampak media sosial Tiktok terhadap nilai moral pada anak sekolah dasar di SD Negeri 3 Ketileng. Jenis penelitian ini kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SDN 3 Ketileng setiap kelas diambil 5 siswa dan kelas V sebanyak 14 siswa, guru kelas dan orang tua. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dampak bermain media sosial Tiktok terhadap nilai moral siswa sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media sosial Tiktok memiliki dampak bagi moral siswa yaitu nilai moral sikap hormat, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, disiplin diri, keadilan, peduli sesama, dan kerjasama. Dimana dampak positif cenderung lebih sedikit daripada dampak negatif. Adapun dampak positifnya yaitu siswa menjadi lebih kreatif, siswa menjadi lebih mengetahui perkembangan teknologi supaya tidak ketinggalan zaman, siswa yang bermain Tiktok lebih percaya diri dan berani. Sedangkan dampak negatifnya yaitu siswa sering lupa tugas dari sekolah, siswa menjadi kurang sopan kepada orang yang lebih tua, siswa sering lupa tanggung jawabnya, siswa kurang bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan sekitar, siswa menjadi sering berbohong, siswa sering berbicara kasar, siswa kurang peduli dengan sesama.
