Abstract

Desa Kuta Dame terletak di Kecamatan Kerajaan, Kabupaten Pakpak Bharat Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Dimana sebagian besar masyarakat di Desa Kuta Dame berprofesi sebagai petani. Komoditas utama pertanian di Desa Kuta Dame adalah padi, jagung, dan cabai merah. Pemerintah daerah melalui dinas pertanian telah berusaha untuk meningkatkan hasil pertanian, salah satunya dengan memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Namun penyuluhan tersebut tidak menyentuh aspek teknologi tepat guna yang efektif dan efisien. Salah satu teknologi yang perlu diterapkan di lahan pertanian adalah sistem penyemprot tanaman elektrik. Sistem penyemprotan otomatis sangat dibutuhkan karena mayoritas petani menggunakan alat penyemprot manual (pompa diafragma) tipe gendong. Kualitas tekanan pompa dengan sistem diafragma bergantung terhadap operator dalam menggerakkan tuas pompanya. Hal ini berakibat terhadap kualitas butiran semprotan menjadi tidak halus dan tidak merata mengenai permukaan daun. Karena permasalah tersebut program pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dilakukan untuk menerapkan sistem penyemprot tanaman elektrik. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM dimulai dari perencanaan kegiatan, penyuluhan, praktek penggunaan alat, monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini adalah sepuluh dari lima belas peserta menyatakan sangat puas, karena sistem penyemprot otomatis dapat menghemat tenaga, waktu, pupuk, dan pestisida.

Abstract

In this research the developed model is SEIR type mathematical modeling using insulin as a form of treatment. SEIR is abbreviation of susceptible (S), exposed (E), infected (I) and recovered (R). Expected goals include to making mathematical models for spread of diabetes mellitus, fixed point determination and basic reproduction number, stability analysis of fixed point, simulation of fixed point stability, simulation of population behavior to know the strategy of controlling diabetes mellitus. Analytical and numerical analysis results were obtained two fixed points, namely the point of no disease (disease-free equilibrium) and the point of disease (endemic equilibrium). Stability analysis of each fixed point indicates that the fixed point there is no stable disease when R0 < 1, whereas the fixed point there is stable disease when R0 > 1. Numerical simulations show that, with reduced Susceptible population contact rate with the exposed population causing to decrease, so the spread of the disease does not appear in the population. These results indicate that one strategy of controlling the spread of diabetes mellitus can be done by reducing the rate of contact susceptible population with eksposed.

Abstract

SEIIT stands for Susceptible (S), Exposed (E), Infected population untreated (I) and Infected population treated (IT). Infected groups consisted in two categories, untreated (I) and with treatment (IT) by presented to insulin. Susceptible shifted to exposed by gene. Prefered outcomes are mathematical models for diabetes mellitus type SEIIT, conventional type, determining breakpoint and basic reproduction number, breakpoint analysis, breakpoint stability simulation. The results were mathematical models or diabetes mellitus compartment charts/diagrams. These diagram were both analysed analitically and numerically. The analyses presented two fixed points, with desease and without desease. Each point was analysed by its basic reproduction number, analitically and numerically, at fixed points without desease Ro < 1, while the other Ro > 1. Human population at condition Ro < 1 tent to move from susceptibel from the initial standpoint and becomes stabilized at . Proportion of exposed (e) is diminishing from the starting point and stabilized at e = 0. Infected untreated dimished from the initial stage and stabilized at i = 0 . Infected with treatment (iT) was increased from initial point, diminished and stabilized at iT = 0. Human behavior when R0 > 1, susceptible (s) increased at the beginning then fluctuated, stabilized finally at . Exposed (e) lower at first then stabilized at . Untreated infected group (i) lower from initial then stabilized when .00393. Treatment group initiate an increasing value, then fluctuated and stabilized at .

Abstract

Abstrak: Media pembelajaran menjadi pilihan untuk menunjang proses belajar yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi siswa dan juga memperkuat motivasi, serta untuk menanamkan pemahaman pada siswa tentang materi yang diajarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Life Skill untuk siswa SMK Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan. Prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi dari model ADDIE. Selanjutnya dilakukan validasi pada media yang telah dirancang. hasil penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan media pembelajaran berada dalam kategori Sangat Baik, berdasarkan penilaian dan validasi dari ahli media, ahli materi dan respon siswa. Hasil validasi dari ahli Media memperoleh rata-rata 93,33%, ahli materi 88,33% dan respon siswa sebagai pengguna adalah 90%. Dengan hasil ini, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar sesuai dengan materi dan kompetensi yang akan dicapai. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Life Skill, SMK, Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Abstract: Learning media is an option to support a fun and interesting learning process for students and also strengthen motivation, and to instill understanding in students about the material being taught. The purpose of this study was to develop Life Skill-based interactive learning media for Vocational High School Electrical Power Installation Engineering students. This study uses a research and development model. The learning media development procedure used in this study adapted from the ADDIE model. Furthermore, validation is carried out on the media that has been designed. The results of this study are the development of learning media in the Very Good category, based on the assessment and validation of media experts, material experts and student responses. The results of the validation of the media expert obtained an average of 93.33%, the material expert was 88.33% and the student response as a user was 90%. With these results, the learning media developed can be applied in the teaching and learning process in accordance with the material and competencies to be achieved.. Keywords: Learning Media, Life Skills, Vocational High School, Electrical Power Installation Engineering.

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah yang dihadapi saat melaksanakan praktikum Teknik Digital adalah modul praktikum yang tersedia belum belum sesuai dengan kompetensi lulusan. Masalah lainnya adalah beberapa modul yang membutuhkan perbaikan. Selain itu, panduan praktikum Teknik Digital juga belum lengkap. Solusi untuk permasalahan diatas salah satunya adalah mengembangkan modul praktikum Teknik Digital. Pengembangan modul praktikum Teknik Digital dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Project Based Learning. Model ADDIE diadaptasi dalam prosedur pengembangan modul praktikum dalam penelitian ini, yang terdiri dari Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Prosedur penelitian meliputi beberapa tahap yaitu analisis Potensi dan masalah, Pengumpulan data, Desain produk, Validasi desain, Revisi desain, Uji coba, Revisi produk, Uji coba pemakaian, Revisi produk dan Produksi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi, keterampilan, kreatifitas dan inovasi mahasiswa.  Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Modul Praktikum, Teknik Digital, Model ADDIE. Abstract:  When attending digital engineering lectures and digital engineering internship courses, students often encounter difficulties because they need to have high logic skills when producing a series of works. Imperfect learning tools is one of the reasons for the above problems. However, some facilities and infrastructure do not support the practical and theoretical learning process. One of them is learning tools, especially practical modules that are not yet available. The purpose of this research is to develop a module and a Digital Engineering practicum jobsheet in accordance with the materials and competencies that students must achieve by utilizing the tools and materials available in the laboratory. The design of this research is R&D. The product of this research will be validated by experts and tested on students after the product is revised. The development procedure adapted from the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry. The data analysis technique used a simple qualitative descriptive analysis technique. This research produces a practicum module that contains work procedures and job sheets. The results of the assessment obtained from 2 media experts were 89,4% in the category of easy to understand, useful, interesting and worthy of being used as a practicum guide. The results of the assessment obtained from 2 media experts show that this module is valid and very good with an average value of 90,3%. Students using this module gave an average rating of 89% for ease of learning, attractiveness, design and benefits. Keywords: Development, Practicum Modul, Digital Engineering, ADDIE Model.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa SMK IMELDA Medan jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik kelas XI pada kompetensi Instalasi Penerangan Listrik. Siswa sangat membutuhkan media yang dapat digunakan pada masa pembelajaran daring. Multimedia pembelajaran berbasis android sangat membantu siswa SMK dalam memahami materi dan mencapai kompetensi sasaran. Siswa dapat belajar secara mandiri mengenai materi kompetensi inti. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari tes pra siklus, rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 78. Setelah penerapan miltimedia pada siklus I dan siklus II, diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar siswa 89,80. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebanyak 9,20%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan multimedia berbasis android pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.Kata Kunci: Penerapan, Multimedia, Android, Instalasi Penerangan, SMK Imelda, . Abstract. This research aims to determine the increase of student learning outcomes at SMK IMELDA Medan majoring in Electrical Power Installation Engineering eleventh class in the Electrical Lighting Installation competency. Students really need media that can be used during online learning. Android-based learning multimedia is very helpful for SMK students in understanding the material and achieving target competencies. Students can learn independently about core competency material. Based on the data obtained from the pre-cycle test, the average student learning outcome was 78. After applying multimedia in cycle I and cycle II, the average student learning outcome was 89.80. The results showed that there was an average increase in student learning outcomes by 9.20%. This shows that the application of android-based multimedia in the Electrical Lighting Installation subject can improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Implementation, Multimedia, Android, Lighting Installation, SMK Imelda.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas dari modul kendali berbasis PLC dan peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Medan. Kompetensi lulusan jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Universitas Negeri Medan harus mampu memenuhi kebutuhan stakeholder khususnya dunia industri. Mahasiswa sangat membutuhkan media pembelajaran yang modern dan inovatif. Media pembelajaran juga harus dapat menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan teknologi kendali otomatis industri saat ini. Metode penelitian ini mengadaptasi rancangan penelitian quasi experiment (eksperimen semu) dengan menggunakan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Group Design. Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 84,30. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dibuktikan dengan peningkatan skor rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa pada kelompok eksperimen, yaitu 63 pada saat pre-test dan 84,30 pada saat post-test. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan gain score data pre-test dan data post-test hasil belajar mahasiswa kelompok eksperimen, diperoleh gain score 0,461 dalam kategori sedang. Sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa modul kendali berbasis PLC efektif diterapkan kepada mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Medan.   Kata Kunci: Efektifitas, Modul, Kendali, PLC, UNIMED Abstract. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the PLC-based control module and increase the learning outcomes of students majoring in Electrical Engineering Education, Faculty of Engineering, Medan State University. The competency of graduates majoring in Electrical Engineering Education at Medan State University must be able to meet the needs of stakeholders, especially the industrial world. Students really need modern and innovative learning media. Learning media must also be able to adapt to current developments in industrial automatic control technology. This research method adapts a quasi-experiment research design using a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Based on research data analysis, the average student learning outcome value was 84.30. The results of this research can be proven by an increase in the average score of student learning outcomes in the experimental group, namely 63 at the pre-test and 84.30 at the post-test. Based on the results of calculating the gain score from pre-test data and post-test data on the learning outcomes of experimental group students, a gain score of 0.461 was obtained in the medium category. So it can be said that the PLC-based control module is effectively applied to students in Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Department Faculty of Engineering Universitas Negeri Medan. Keywords: Efektifitas, Modul Kendali, PLC, Teknik Elektro, UNIMED

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan karena adanya permasalahan pada manajemen laboratorium di SMK Negeri 1 Beringin dimana penjadwalan yang masih dilakukan secara manual dan hanya disampaikan melalui grup kelas. Pengelolaan laboratorium juga belum maksimal seperti tidak adanya pencatatan data perlengkapan laboratorium yang berakibat kurangnya tanggung jawab terhadap perlengkapan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan sebuah sistem informasi manajemen laboratorium berbasis web yang dapat diakses dengan mudah dan akurat. Data-data seperti penjadwalan penggunaan laboratorium dan kelengkapan pada laboratorium, juga tercatat dengan baik dan tersistem. Rancang bangun sistem ini menggunakan model pengembangan Waterfall, yang terdiri dari tahapan communication, planning, modelling, construction, dan deployment. Validitas dari sistem hasil pengembangan diuji menggunakan teori validitas Aiken (Aiken’s V) dengan angka indeks validitas Aiken sebesar 0,677. Hasil uji validitas dari ahli sistem dan uji validitas dari ahli praktisi terhadap 8 aspek menunjukkan bahwa sistem sudah dapat dinyatakan valid, karena hasil uji validitas menunjukkan lebih tinggi dari 0,677.Kata Kunci: sistem informasi, manajemen, laboratorium, web Abstract: This research was conducted because there were problems with laboratory management at SMK Negeri 1 Beringin where scheduling was still done manually and only delivered through class groups. Laboratory management is also not optimal, as there is no data recording on laboratory equipment, which results in a lack of responsibility for the equipment. The aim of this research is to develop a web-based laboratory management information system that can be accessed easily and accurately. Data such as laboratory usage scheduling and laboratory equipment are also recorded well and in a system. The design of this system uses the Waterfall development model, which consists of communication, planning, modeling, construction and deployment stages. The validity of the developed system was tested using Aiken's validity theory (Aiken's V) with an Aiken validity index of 0.677. The results of validity tests from system experts and validity tests from practitioner experts on 8 aspects show that the system can be declared valid, because the validity test results show higher than 0.677.Keyword: information system, management, laboratory, web

Abstract

Abstrak: Revolusi Industri 4.0 mengharuskan dunia industri untuk memanfaatkan teknologi otomatis pada proses produksi agar bekerja secara efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan kebutuhan tersebut, maka para lulusan sarjana teknik elektro harus memiliki kompetensi dibidang kendali otomatis agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan sumber daya manusia di dunia industri saat ini. Dasar Sistem Kendali merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang harus diselesaikan mahasiswa program studi Teknik Elektro di Universitas Negeri Medan. Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan, mahasiswa masih kurang memahami tentang implementasi teori sistem kendali dalam dunia industri. Analisis kebutuhan dilakukan untuk mengetahui capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah, kompetensi mahasiswa, dan kebutuhan bahan ajar yang relevan dengan industri. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa capaian pembelajaran belum merujuk pada kebutuhan industri, kompetensi mahasiswa belum memenuhi kebutuhan industri secara praktis dan bahan ajar yang belum sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah pengembangan modul pembelajaran sistem kendali otomatis yang mendukung pembelajaran berbasis proyek.Kata Kunci: Analisis Kebutuhan, Pengembangan Modul, Kendali, Otomatis, SMK Imelda, Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek. Abstract. Based on these needs, electrical engineering graduates must have competence in the field of automatic control in order to meet human resource needs in today's industrial world. Basics of Control Systems is one of the mandatory courses that students in the Electrical Engineering study program at Medan State University must complete. Based on observations made, students still do not understand the implementation of control system theory in the industrial world. A needs analysis is carried out to determine course learning outcomes, student competencies, and the need for teaching materials that are relevant to industry. The results of the needs analysis show that learning outcomes do not yet refer to industry needs, student competencies do not practically meet industry needs and teaching materials do not meet industry needs. Abstract

Air conditioning for residential comfort is important for human life for the early days of the changing weather climate that affects the temperature of the air temperature in residential dwellings. The air conditioning system is one of the business actions in the form of maintaining the temperature level in the room from the low level of the ambient temperature around it by absorbing heat from the material or room. The air conditioning load is also carried out to determine the AC capacity needed. Research conducted by the Glamour Mansion Tanjung Morawa Housing Complex using the method used is to calculate cooling capacity based on GA (General Arranggement) which includes several parameters, namely the number of people, number of windows, room volume, equipment, and heat from lights. So that the calculation of Heat Calculation, Air Capacity, and Cooling Capacity in a complex is obtained. From the results of the study it is known that the AC cooling load for the Glamour Mansion Tanjung Morawa Complex is the living room 1482 BTU / h, Room I 1953 BTU / h, Room II 800 BTU / h. 1 AC with a capacity of ½ PK in the room. 1 AC with a capacity of ½ PK in each room.
