Abstract

Abstract

Since the easier access to digital technology based information everyone is free to interpreted and argue for all kinds of phenomena that occur. Issues about politics, education, economics to the most private aspect (read: religion), not escape from public interpretation. This reality certainly has implications on two aspects that are contradictory. This is because the community digests the information it obtains in varied ways, because it departs from the tendency of insight and its preference to certain primordial entities. The logical consequence of this reality is that, on the one hand, the information successfully absorbed by the public has spawned a generation of societies that significantly shapes a higher reading culture, albeit at a glance and a deep level. But on the other hand, the impact of this accessible information access spawned the latah generation, whose knowledge modality through cyberspace feels legitimate to give opinions and interpretations of everything. In this position emerged the seeds of disputes that could lead to social divisions. Nowadays, social media is becoming the lifestyle of society so distancing access to information from the public is not good. There needs to be an in-depth study on the use of digital information appropriately so that the cultural richness of the Indonesian nation does not collapse due to the misuse of social media as a provocative instrument for the fragmentation of the nation's culture.

The harmonious compounds between the substantial teachings of Islamic religion and the culture of the archipelago make this religion a distinct position in the hearts of the people. Unfortunately, this reality applies in pre-reform era to the back. After the collapse of the New Order era of 1998 ago to date, the face of Islam in Indonesia tends to be displayed with increasingly fierce and furious. This fact, aggravated by the increasingly sophisticated information technology, so participate in shaping opinion in the community, especially among followers of Islam. Thus, it is not difficult to find fellow Muslims clashing and facing each other due to differences in the acceptance of information from online media. Now, the phenomenon of blasphemy and cursing as if the daily menu of Indonesian Muslims, almost no day without the verbal abuse among Muslims. This is of course if left unchecked, will have an impact on the lunturnya spirit of moderation that has been the advantage of the nature of Islam in the archipelago. So, it becomes very relevant if the spirit of moderation (wasatiyah) re-echoed in the middle of millennial generations that most of his life drained away in the digital world.

Abstract

The flow of information on the internet, including religious narratives, is currently impossible to avoid. This article discusses understanding Islam with intellectual humility for virtual society to live up to religious teachings with tolerance, moderation, and mutual respect. This study gathered data from documentation of Gus Baha's recitation, which is widely distributed on the YouTube social media platform. This study used a qualitative-descriptive research method and a netnographic analysis model. This method uses a particular analytical technique offered, AMS (Siber Media Analysis), which goes through 4 levels: Media room level, media document level, media object level, and experience level. This study was successful in determining that Gus Baha's intellectual humility is built on two things: first, a thorough understanding of Islamic teachings (khatam), and second, the belief that humans cannot act like God by enforcing laws against humans in the context of reality, which can change at any time. Furthermore, online media-based Islamic education can be accessed in real-time, stipulating that those presenting Islamic teachings in online media be mature figures, both intellectually and emotionally, as well as socially sensitive in a multicultural society.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted various aspects of life. Economy and education are the two sectors of life most affected. This article aims to analyze education policy in Indonesia in facing the global pandemic. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was obtained through public policy documentation techniques in the education sector. The data obtained was then analyzed using the public policy theory content analysis method. Analysis of this study found that in the education policy formulation stage, the government, through the Ministry of Education (Kemendikbud), collaborated with various parties (multi-stakeholders) to guarantee the community's fundamental rights to access education. However, it was found that the policies that had been realized still needed to be revised in society. Thus, many people still do not have the right to a good education. For example, regarding quota distribution policies, areas with minimal signal, the ability to operate media, and other digital infrastructure. Realizing this, Indonesia's education policy in the education sector during the pandemic used a collaborative-participatory model. The Ministry of Education collaborates with other ministries or agencies to ensure that education implementation regulations are implemented in the public domain evenly and fairly.
