Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of learning motivation and learning media toward English language proficiency. The method used in the study is an experiment with a 2x2 factorial design. The technique used to analyze the data in this study is the technique of analysis of variance (ANOVA) 2 lanes at significance level α = 0.05 and α = 0.01. If the analysis is found in the interaction, then followed by Tuckey test. Normality test conducted using the test Liliefors, while the homogeneity test using Bartlett's test with a confidence level of α = 0.05. The results showed that there were differences between the groups of English learning students learn to use digital games and movies for Fh (k) = 8,130 to Ft (0,05) = 4:04 (Fh (k)> Ft), then there is an interaction effect between English language learning with digital games and movies for Fh (bxk) = 26 168, with Ft (0,05) = 4:04 (Fh (k)> Ft), there are differences in English proficiency among students studying with digital games and learning with film on the group of students who have high motivation because the Q value of count is 9617, with Q table at significant level 5% the amount was 2.86, and that there was no difference between the English skills of students studying with digital games and learning with the film on group of students who have low motivation for the Q value of count is 0839 with the Q table at significant level of 5% was 2.86 magnitude. Keyword: English Language,  Learning Motivation, Learning Digital Media

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the information system at PT. Indosat using Online DJ on employee performance. This study was conducted to investigate whether Internet-based information system at PT. Indosat, known as DJ Online influence on employee performance. The problems that must be resolved is how the application of information systems DJ Online and conditions of the performance of employees of PT. Indosat in serving customers Multimedia, Infrastructure, Data and Internet Service (MIDI). The scale of measurement using a Likert scale with the number of questionnaires as much as 36 respondents. Research methodology with quantitative research and primary data processing using SPSS software. From the test results are to be obtained regression results indicate the magnitude of Adjusted R Square of 0144. It shows 14.4% variable use of information systems is influenced by the performance of employees, while 85.6% is influenced by other variables outside of the variables used. Variable use of information systems has a p-value 0.022 significant meaning. The results showed that the information system DJ Online significant influence on employee performance.

Abstract

Customer complaint result in customer dissatisfaction and looses for businesses.  Fierce competition in its property business apartment requires companies to reduce the number of complaints. Therefore, the classifications and predictions technique in data mining is needed to resolve the issue. Classification techniques used in data mining are decision tree.  Decision tree is a technique which is widely use and produce output in the form of rules. The decision tree can present customer complaint pattern behavior. In this study, it uses the algorithm C4.5 to generate classification rules of customer complaints to the apartment and the accuracy result in this study was 75%. Keywords: Customer Complaint, Classification, Prediction, Decision tree, C4.5 Algorithm

Abstract

The need of using computers that are connected one with another in 1969 opens a path to global interaction between users through internet technology. Internet development also influences the development of information technology in Indonesia. Up to 4.2 million people of Indonesia have made use of the internet. On one hand, it is useful for users. On the other hand, it opens possibilities for cyber crimes. Yet Indonesia has not had any force of law governing cyber crimes.
