Abstract

Feed is a main factor influencing fish growth. However, feed formulation using traditional methods such as the Pearson Square is often considered complex and time-consuming for fish farmers. This study aims to design and development an Android-based application named “Hitung Pakan”, which can calculate fish feed formulations quickly and accurately. The research employed the waterfall method, including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application was developed using Java programming language and tested by 10 respondents from a fish farming group. The results showed no differences between the application’s calculations and manual calculations using Pearson Square method equations. This indicates that the developed application provides accurately results, simplifies the formulation process, and reduces human error. Therefore, the application is feasible to be used as a formulation tool in fish farming group.Keywords - Android Application, Calculation Efficiency, Fish Feed Formulation, Pearson Square.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penggunaan Control Chart dalam pengendalian kualitas lintas sektor industri, mengingat pentingnya menjaga konsistensi kualitas dalam lingkungan produksi yang beragam. Tujuan dari review sistematis ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan cara penerapan serta efektivitas Control Chart di sektor manufaktur, otomotif, kesehatan, dan makanan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pencarian literatur yang komprehensif dari berbagai basis data akademik, dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi yang ketat untuk memastikan relevansi dan kualitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas Control Chart bervariasi signifikan tergantung pada kondisi industri spesifik, dengan teknologi dan kompetensi karyawan sebagai faktor penentu utama. Studi ini memberikan wawasan baru mengenai adaptasi Control Chart di era digital dan menawarkan rekomendasi untuk penerapan teknologi informasi yang dapat memperkuat pengendalian kualitas di berbagai sektor. This research examines the use of Control Charts in quality control across industrial sectors, considering the importance of maintaining quality consistency in diverse production environments. This systematic review aims to analyze and compare the implementation and effectiveness of Control Charts in the manufacturing, automotive, health and food sectors. The methods used include a comprehensive literature search from various academic databases, with strict inclusion and exclusion criteria to ensure the relevance and quality of the data. The research results show that the Effectiveness Control Chart varies significantly depending on specific industry conditions, with technology and employee competency as the main determining factors. This study provides new insights into the adaptation of Control Charts in the digital era. It recommends applying information technology to strengthen quality control in various sectors.

Abstract

Digital technology, especially SolidWorks software and 3D printing, has brought significant changes to the modern manufacturing industry, increasing efficiency, productivity, and product quality. The problems faced by vocational school graduates are related to their lack of skills in operating the software. Community service activities aim to provide solutions, with direct training, to overcome the skills gap that arises due to the lack of facilities and competent teachers in the vocational school environment. Training methods include delivering material with practical exercises and using evaluations to measure participants' understanding. The main goal is to improve product design skills using SolidWorks and operating 3D printing machines. Based on the training carried out, it shows an increase in participants' knowledge regarding the operation of SolidWorks software and 3D printing. This can be seen from the increase in post-test scores of 6.34% compared to the pre-test. In addition, the participants' 3D printed parts showed better quality in terms of dimensional accuracy, visual surface roughness, and fewer defective parts compared to before the training.

Abstract

The rapid development of digitalization cannot be separated from the important role of an information system. Production planning process at PT. XYZ is still manual and not yet computerized. This causes production delays due to miscommunication and does not yet have a database in the system. This causes production delays due to miscommunication and does not yet have a database in the system. To overcome this, it is necessary to have a field study through interviews with staff at PT. XYZ to design information systems. The purpose of conducting research at PT. XYZ is, among others, producing a computerized production planning information system design in a database. The design of this production planning information system is made with a DFD (Data Flow Diagram) method using Odoo Software which can facilitate users in the process of delivering information between work departments in a computerized manner, reduce the number of human error problems, facilitate checking the availability of raw materials, and can shorten the flow of business processes that are currently running in a database so that the production scheduling and planning process is more effective and efficient.

Abstract

Karangasem Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency has natural potential in the form of a reservoir that has not been utilized optimally. To develop a reservoir development program, a SWOT analysis was carried out using a focused group discussion method between the Community Service Team from Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo University, the Karangasem Village Government, and the GP Fish Farmers Group. The data collection stage produces strength data, namely: it has sufficient area, the depth reaches 1.5 m, the volume of water that can be accommodated reaches 22,500 m3, the condition of the water in the reservoir is considered quite good based on the inflow and outflow of water, the level of water infiltration is not too high. high, has an electricity network, and has an internet network. The weakness is that the location of the embung is far from the city center, Mount Pegat still lacks visitors, the knowledge of the embung managers is still minimal. The opportunity is that fishing activities have many enthusiasts, they can activate social media for promotion. The threat is that it has to compete with other water tourism in the Sukoharjo and Wonogiri areas. From the results of the SWOT analysis, a decision was obtained to develop the embung into a fishing tourist attraction and floating net cages. Keywords: embung, SWOT, fishing, cages

Abstract

Agriculture, livestock, and fisheries are key sectors that support the economic life of the majority of the Purwosari village community. They face environmental and social vulnerabilities, while also facing economic vulnerability. This is achieved by transforming traditional technologies currently used by the community to increase fisheries yields and downstream marketing through Free Nutritional Meal Kitchens (MBG) in the surrounding Wonogiri area. Strengthening village human resource development through the empowerment of Appropriate Technology (PTTG) in Purwosari Village, Wonogiri, aims to encourage energy independence in the economic activities of community groups. This includes strengthening the human resources of the Purwosari village community health post (Posyantek) for the construction of 200W solar cell TTGs and 2000W converters, solar-powered pond water pumps, and the construction of aquaculture ponds; and for freshwater fisheries. In general, the assembly of solar-powered water pump models can be adapted to field conditions and market availability. The core of this assembly is converting the electricity supply from the state electricity company (PLN) into electricity from natural sources (sunlight). The necessary equipment includes: Solar panels/solar cells (photovoltaic), controller, inverter, battery, cables, and mounting frame. The life cycle cost calculation for a solar-powered fisheries system at the PSDA Community Group (Pokmas PSDA), with solar-powered pumps and lights, shows a cost efficiency of Rp. 61,600,000 – Rp. 19,665,000 = Rp. 41,935,000 (assuming the equipment's life cycle cost is 10 years), resulting in a cost savings of 67%.   Keywords: Fisheries, PSDA Community Group, Solar Energy, TTG

Abstract

The high cost of fish feed has become the main problem in fish farming in Karangasem Village, Bulu District, Sukoharjo Regency. The “GP” Fish Farmers Group has long depended on commercial feed, which continues to increase in price and reduce profit margins. Meanwhile, local raw materials such as tofu waste, rice bran, and fish meal are abundantly available but have not been fully utilized due to the lack of processing technology. This community service program was carried out to implement a floating pellet machine as a solution to support feed self-sufficiency. The method consisted of three stages: preparation, implementation, and monitoring-evaluation. The preparation stage involved identifying partner needs and designing the pellet machine. The implementation stage included discussions, machine assembly, and feed production trials using local ingredients. Monitoring and evaluation were conducted through technical assistance and interviews with the group. The results indicate that the partners were able to operate the machine independently and produce floating pellets suitable for gourami and catfish farming. The use of this machine has proven effective in reducing feed costs, improving farming efficiency, and strengthening the group’s economic independence.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berkontribusi 61% terhadap PDB nasional atau sekitar Rp 9.580 triliun serta menyerap 97% tenaga kerja. Kabupaten Sukoharjo memiliki 11.503 UMKM sektor jasa, termasuk industri pengecatan kendaraan bermotor yang berkembang di 12 kecamatan, dengan 45 bengkel cat bodi motor skala rumahan yang melayani pengecatan ulang, perbaikan bodi, penggantian warna, dan finishing. Sektor ini berkontribusi pada estetika kendaraan dan perekonomian lokal, namun masih menghadapi kendala fasilitas kerja, khususnya desain meja cat yang belum ergonomis. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang meja cat bodi motor yang fungsional, nyaman, dan sesuai preferensi pengguna menggunakan metode Kansei Engineering Tipe I. Hasil analisis Kansei menghasilkan sembilan kata utama: kuat, stabil, kokoh, fungsional, fleksibel, nyaman, profesional, praktis, dan mudah dibersihkan. Conjoint Analysis digunakan untuk menentukan atribut desain prioritas, yaitu ketinggian meja dapat diatur, kemudahan dipindahkan, kemudahan penggunaan, kemudahan perawatan, dan kaki meja empat buah. Hasil menunjukkan ketinggian meja yang dapat diatur memiliki utilitas tertinggi, menandakan ergonomi sebagai prioritas utama. Penelitian ini membuktikan Kansei Engineering efektif menghasilkan desain meja cat yang memenuhi kebutuhan teknis sekaligus preferensi pengguna, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi kerja dan kualitas layanan UMKM bengkel cat bodi motor di Kabupaten Sukoharjo.

Abstract

The cutting blade used in pellet production machines directly affects the dimensional consistency of produced pellets. Polymer-based blades manufactured using 3D printing offer advantages in production cost and fabrication flexibility, but still have limitations in mechanical durability under repeated use. This study aimed to develop a cutting blade made of PLA (Polylactic Acid) using 3D printing technology with a 2 mm stainless steel reinforcement at the blade tip, and to evaluate its effect on pellet length stability in a pellet production machine. The blade was designed using SolidWorks and fabricated using Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.22 mm layer height, 100% infill, 60°C bed temperature, 210°C extruder temperature, and 4500 mm/min printing speed. Testing was conducted using a pellet machine operating at 70 rpm for 6 cycles, with 200 g of feed material per cycle and 8 pellet samples measured in each cycle. The results showed that the full PLA blade experienced an increase in average pellet length from 4.99 mm to 7.05 mm, while the hybrid blade only increased from 3.78 mm to 4.22 mm. One-Way ANOVA results indicated that testing cycles significantly affected pellet length in both the full PLA blade (F = 365.015; p < 0.001) and the hybrid blade (F = 61.255; p < 0.001). The study concludes that stainless steel reinforcement resulted in more stable pellet dimensions during repeated testing, compared to full PLA blades.
