Abstract

Bina Sarana Informatika University (UBSI) is a private university in Indonesia with a large number of students across various study programs. This study focuses on the Information Systems program. A challenge was identified in determining the type of competency certification that aligns with students' interests and talents. The objective of this study is to compare two methods, namely AHP and MOORA, to assist students in selecting the appropriate certification. The criteria considered in this research include Student Interest, Market Demand, Certification Cost, Certification Duration, and Career Prospects. The three alternatives evaluated are the Database Proficiency Test, Program Analysis Competency Certification, and Programmer Certification. Data analysis using the AHP method showed that the Database Proficiency Test achieved the highest score of 0.41, followed by the Program Analysis Competency Certification with a score of 0.33, and the Programmer Certification with a score of 0.26. Similarly, data analysis using the MOORA method yielded comparable rankings: the Database Proficiency Test scored 0.303, the Program Analysis Competency Certification 0.287, and the Programmer Certification 0.276. After comparing the two methods, both AHP and MOORA produced the same results, with the Database Proficiency Test ranking first, followed by the Program Analysis Competency Certification and the Programmer Certification. This finding indicates that the Database Proficiency Test is the most preferred certification among students in the Information Systems program.

Abstract

The lecture system at BSI University has practicum courses, where the teaching and learning process is 20% theory and 80% practicum by learning software according to current technological developments. In the practicum-based teaching and learning process, there are several problems including understanding the content of the material delivered by the lecturer, communication between students in class and lecturers because there are many discussions, in practicum learning made in groups to make projects, this group cohesiveness is also an assessment in achieving predetermined targets, the learning atmosphere also supports the teaching and learning process, the process of lecturer assessment of students will be the final result of learning and teaching activities. In the practicum course, 4 credits are provided and this 4 credits time is still considered insufficient to complete quite a lot of material at each meeting, from these problems the author wants to know the prediction of student success rates in practicum course learning. This study uses the naive bayes method with a total sample of 130 samples from the results of a questionnaire distributed to students with 20 questions, so that this study results in that students feel successful in practicum course learning with an accuracy level of 100%, a precision level of 100%, and a recall level of 100% after being processed using rapidminer 5 software.

Abstract

Suatu sistem yang dapat menentukan peringkat dengan cepat dalam proses seleksi dan mengetahui nilai tertinggi serta terendah dari suatu masalah yang terjadi bisa diartikan dengan Sistem pendukung keputusan. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan sistem pendukung keputusan untuk menyelesaikan studi kasus dalam menentukan keputusan pemilihan dompet digital yang digunakan sebagai alat pembayaran pada transaksi pembelian dikalangan mahasiswa Universitas BSI program studi Administrasi Bisnis dan Administrasi Perkantoran, dimana banyaknya dompet digital yang bisa digunakan oleh mahasiswa dengan banyaknya penawaran-penawaran yang menarik sehingga membuat bingung dalam memilih dompet digital yang efektif dan efisien untuk kalangan mahassiwa. Oleh karena itu dibuat suatu sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk mendukung keputusan tersebut dengan menggunakan empat kriteria yang digunakan yaitu kerjasama merchant, promo dan penawaran menarik, layanan customer service serta kemudahan aplikasi dalam membantu proses penentuan pemilihan dompet digital. Dimana sistem pendukung keputusan ini menggunakan metode MOORA berdasarkan nilai bobot kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Pada penelitian ini dihasilkan pemilihan dompet digital dikalangan mahasiswa sesuai peringkat dalam penelitian yaitu GoPay, ShopeePay, OVO, Dana, dan LinkAja.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari fakta meningkatnya undang-undang yang dibatalkan oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK), yang menandakan masih lemahnya kualitas pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan serta belum menyeluruhnya penerapan prinsip-prinsip konstitusional dalam proses legislasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran MK dalam menjaga kesesuaian undang-undang dengan UUD melalui mekanisme pengujian serta mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pembentukan forum konsultasi konstitusional sebagai bentuk pengawasan preventif. Penelitian menggunakan metode hukum normatif-doktrinal dengan pendekatan peraturan, konsep, dan perbandingan untuk merumuskan model kewenangan konsultatif bagi MK. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa mekanisme judicial review yang berlaku saat ini belum mampu mencegah cacat konstitusional sejak awal proses legislasi, sehingga diperlukan instrumen pemeriksaan konstitusional pada tahap pra-legislasi. Forum konsultasi memberikan ruang bagi MK untuk menyampaikan pandangan konstitusional secara objektif, meningkatkan efisiensi penyusunan undang-undang, dan menekan potensi pelanggaran konstitusi tanpa menyalahi prinsip pemisahan kekuasaan. Kesimpulannya, penguatan kewenangan MK melalui forum konsultatif merupakan langkah penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas legislasi nasional.

Abstract

Libraries, particularly academic libraries like those at UBSI, store valuable collections of books, manuscripts, and digital archives. The preservation of these physical assets is constantly threatened by environmental factors, primarily fluctuating temperature and humidity. Uncontrolled high humidity accelerates the growth of mold and mildew, leading to irreversible damage to paper-based materials. Manual monitoring systems are often inefficient, costly, and susceptible to human error. This research aimed to develop and implement a real-time, Internet of Things (IoT)-based air humidity monitoring system to ensure optimal environmental conditions for collection preservation in the UBSI Library. The system utilizes the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller and the SHT30 sensor, chosen for its high accuracy and stability, to continuously collect humidity data. This data is transmitted via Wi-Fi to a Firebase real-time database and visualized on a dynamic web dashboard. The prototype was tested for accuracy and reliability, showing minimal deviation (less than 3%) compared to commercial hygrometers. The results confirm that the IoT system successfully provides remote, continuous, and highly accurate monitoring, enabling prompt intervention by library staff when humidity levels exceed the safe threshold (50%–60%). This innovative approach significantly enhances collection preservation efficiency and reduces potential conservation costs. The system built not only successfully collects data, but also processes it into easily understood information, thus fulfilling the initial objective of overcoming the inefficiency of manual monitoring.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face challenges in managing transaction records and financial reports manually, which can lead to recording errors and reduced operational efficiency. This study aims to develop a web-based daily sales information system to manage sales transactions, product data, income, expenses, and profit-loss reports in an integrated manner. The system was developed using the Waterfall method and web-based technology. The results show that the system can assist MSMEs in recording transactions digitally, improving data accuracy, accelerating financial report preparation, and supporting more effective and efficient business decision-making.

Abstract

Abstract Data from hotel activity is one of the assets of a hotel. The amount of data produced will increase with the day-to-day operational activities,. The large amount of data will be a problem if the hotel cannot process it. In this study, we will implement a priori algorithm to classify guest record data in Delua Hotel in Jakarta based on trends that arise from a category at a certain time in the process of checking in at Delua Hotels on every day, week, and month. Guest record data that is processed using itemset room type Superior Queen/Twin, Deluxe Room, Holywood Room, and Executive Suite. The results of this study are in the form of data used to predict the available rooms when preparing a room reservation and the results of this algorithm can also be used as a reference for the hotel in preparing the reservation room which is most often attracted by hotel visitors. Keywords: Apriori Algorithm, hotel management, Association Rule Abstrak Data yang dimiliki suatu hotel merupakan salah satu aset dari suatu hotel tersebut. Dengan adanya kegiatan operasional sehari-hari akan semakin memperbanyak jumlah data yang dihasilkan. Jumlah data yang begitu besar justru akan menjadi masalah bila hotel tersebut tidak bisa mengolahnya. Dalam penelitian ini, akan mengimplementasikan algoritma apriori untuk mengklasifikasikan data record guest yang ada di Delua Hotel Jakarta berdasarkan kecenderungan yang muncul dari suatu kategori pada kurun waktu tertentu pada proses chek in pada Delua Hotel pada setiap hari, minggu, bulannya. Data record guest yang diolah menggunakan itemset room type Superior Queen/Twin, Deluxe Room, Holywood Room, dan Executive Suite. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa data yang digunakan untuk memprediksikan room yang tersedia saat mempersiapkan reservation room dan hasil dari algoritma ini juga dapat dijadikan rujukan bagi pihak hotel dalam mempersiapkan reservation room yang paling sering di minati oleh pengunjung hotel. Abstract

Logistics efficiency in goods distribution has become a major challenge for distribution companies in reducing operational costs. This study aims to optimize the distribution routes of motorcycle spare parts at PD. Tri Jaya Motor using the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) algorithm. The main issue faced by the company is the use of unsystematic manual route determination, which results in inefficient travel distances. The methodology employed in this research involves modeling the Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) across six distribution points using parameters of alpha = 1, beta = 1, and rho = 0.1. The simulation results demonstrate that the ACO algorithm successfully identified the optimal route with a total distance of 206.6 km, resulting in significant savings compared to the initial route. This study contributes by providing a metaheuristic-based decision-making strategy for medium-scale distribution systems.

Abstract

UBSI as an educational institution that has learning support facilities must be able to manage campus inventory effectively. This study aims to determine the management of asset management that needs to be done, both in the form of routine maintenance and updating of goods. The UBSI Jatiwaringin branch campus only makes reports on the condition of inventory items, so it cannot determine whether the reported inventory data is updated or repaired, so far it is not known which items are prioritized based on their level of importance. The data will then be followed up by the main campus to check the inventory data report. The method used to determine inventory predictions is the Decision Tree Algorithm which has priority, location, condition, frequency, and prediction attributes. As targets in the decision tree are prediction attributes that have maintenance or renewal classes. Determination of inventory data predictions by calculating the entropy, gain, gain info, and gain ratio values ??of each attribute and resulting in the Priority attribute being the root node in the formed decision tree. This indicates that the priority attribute has a strong influence in determining whether an item is included in the maintenance or renewal class. Based on testing results using RapidMiner software with the K-Fold Cross Validation method, the Decision Tree algorithm can generate a decision model with an average accuracy of 86.67% in campus inventory management. The results of this study are expected to be useful for Jatiwaringin Campus administrators to conduct initial inspections without waiting for repairs from the main campus.
