Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the infuence of variable ofproduct quality, price, service quality, emotional factor, cost and ease towards customersatisfaction. The population in this research was all customers of PT. Sido MunculSemarang. The samples were 100 customers with the technique sampling wasconvenience sampling method. The analysis tool used was multiple linear regression. Theresult of this research showed that based on hypothesis testing, it got result as big asX1=2,815, X2=2,055, X3=4,088 and X4=3,789, X5= 2,470 and t table 1,985 so that residein region refuses ho, meaning there was significant influence of product quality, price,service quality, emotional factor, cost and ease towards customer satisfaction. While inFtest, it got result Fcount 39,349 > F table (2,31) reside in region refuses ho, meaningthere was significant influence of product quality, price, service quality, emotionalfactor, cost and ease towards customer satisfaction. The determination coefficient fromthe five free variables as big as 65.9%, meaning variation from the five free variables inexplaining customer satisfaction as big as 65.9%, while the rest (100% - 65,9%) = 34,1%explained by other variables that were not mentioned in this research, for examplelocation and product completion.Keywords: product quality, price, service quality, emotional factor, cost and easetowards customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the level of teller service at Bank Mega Cabang Pemuda Semarang. The data required in the form of primary data, namely the number of customers who came in and were served each weekday. The data obtained through observation of the observation period that was conducted from May 28 until June 22, 2012 at 08.00 pm until 15.00 pm. The techniques of data analysis used the method of multichannel – single phase. The results showed that Bank Mega needed to do additional service facilities, the addition amount of the original teller from three became five tellers. With the addition it showed the decrease number of customer wait time before 22 minutes 2 seconds to 5 minutes 16 seconds, so that service performance could be optimized. However, this addition is only required every the first week since the week the number of customers who come in line to get more services than other weeks. Keywords: teller, multichannel-single phase

Abstract

This research was to recognize the influence of ability, effort and support of organization to employee’s performance. This research was conducted in Bureau of Academic and Administration of Diponegoro University which has 50 staffs. They were the samples of this research using technical sampling of census method. The mean of this analysis was multiple linear regressions with SPSS program. The result showed that Ŷ= 1,149 + 0,226 X1+ 0,205 X2+ 0,380 X3 from an equation obtained a positive regression coefficient of ability (X1), effort (X2) and organization support (X3) to employee’s performance (Y). It means that if a variable of ability, effort and organization support is increased, staff’s performance will increase as well. Based on hypothetical test either partial or simultaneous, effort and organization support affected positively and significantly performance of Bureau of Academic and Administration of Diponegoro University’s staff . Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of theknowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and behaviors on the productivity of the employeesof the production department of PT Nusantara Building Industries. The population in thisstudy was 483 employees of the production department of PT Nusantara BuildingIndustries. While the samples were 83 respondents. The sampling techniques used wasnon probability sampling with convenience. The analysis tool used in this research wasmultiple linear regression, which was firstly examined by validity and reliability test. Theresults showed partially, it obtained by value for X1 = 3.800; X2 = 2.511; X3 = 2.216; X4= 2.188, and X5 = 3.945 while t table 1.991 that was in the area reject Ho, meaning therewas significant influence of between the knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes andbehaviors on the productivity of the employees of the production department of PTNusantara Building Industries. While the hypothesis test simultaneously with the testresults obtained F value = 28.757> F table = 2.333 was in the reject Ho area, meaningthat there was significant influence of knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes and behaviorson the productivity of the employees of the production department of PT NusantaraBuilding Industries. The coefficient of determination of the five independent variables =62.9% meaning that the variation of the five independent variables in explainingproductivity = 62.9% while the remaining 37.1% was explained by other variables thatwere not mentioned in this study.Keywords: productivity, knowledge, skills, abilities, attitudes, and behaviors

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the factors that influence consumer purchasingbehavior at Lancar Widodo Store Semarang. This research used the subject data. In this case thesubject of the research was consumers of Lancar Widodo Store Semarang. This study usedConvenience sampling or aese, which means respondents were the buyers of oil products with nocriteria found by the researcher at Lancar Widodo Store Semarang. The number of samples was100 people. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression. The results showedthat the culture had no influence on consumer purchasing behavior, social had no influence onconsumer purchasing behavior, personal influenced the consumer purchasing behavior, andpsychology had no influence on consumer purchasing behavior. While simultaneously culture,social, personal, psychology influenced the consumer purchasing behavior.Keywords: culture, social, personal, psychology.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of individualcharacteristics and work factors on motivation of employees of CV. Bintang TimurSemarang. In this study, the population was CV. Bintang Timur employees totaled 50people, including leaders, the entire population was sampled. The analytical tool used inthis research was multiple linear regression. The results showed that on the basis of thepartial test of the hypothesis with t test results obtained X1 = 3.837; X2 = 15.712; X3 =7.447; X4 = 2.944; X5 and X6 = 5.436 = 4.869 and 2.012 t table that was in the area ofreject Ho, means there was significant influence of motivation, job satisfaction, stresslevels, physical work conditions, compensation systems and design work on motivation.While on the test results obtained F value, F = 522.971 > F table 3.232 was in the areaof reject Ho, meaning that there was significant influence of individual characteristicsand work factors on motivation. The coefficient of determination of both independentvariable was 98.50%, it means that the variation of these two variables in explaining themotivation for the remaining 98.50% (100% - 98.50%) = 1.50% was explained by othervariables that were not mentioned in the study.Keywords: Individual Characteristics, Work Factors and Motivation

Abstract

In achieving good performance in a company, people have a verystrategic position for man know inputs that need to be taken out of the environment, howto get and capture these inputs using technology, able to manage and transform inputsinto outputs which meet the public. Performance is often defined as the achievement oftasks, of which the performance is necessary to indicate the degree of success or failureof organization in achieving the organizations vision, mission, and goals, so to know theresults that have been achieved in the framework of the process towards establishedgoals. To achieve this leadership role to improve and provide motivation is veryimportant. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the influence of ability and motivationon teacher performance at SMK Palapa Semarang. The population in this study was theoverall 45 people are teachers, and the entire population was sampled. The analyticaltool used in this study was multiple linear regression. The results showed that based onhypothesis testing motivation and ability simultaneously had a significant effect on theteacher’s performance of SMK Palapa Semarang. The magnitude influence of ability andmotivation was 19.334 with a 3.219 or F table value F count = 19.334> F table 3.219.Partially, motivation was the most dominant factor affecting the teacher’s performance atSMK Palapa Semarang as motivation was enough to determine the tasks of the employeeso optimize the performance, it needs motivation of the employer.Keywords: Performance, Abilities and Motivation

Abstract

This research aimed to identify and analyze the influence of individualfactor, social factor, and main factor of work on job satisfaction of staff of PT. SinarPantja Djaja Semarang. In this research, the entire population was sampled so that thesample in this research were employees or all staff at PT. Sinar Pantja Djaja Semarangtotal with 50 people, including leadership. The analytical tool used in this research wasmultiple linear regression . The results showed that by testing hypothesis Individualfactor, social factor, and main factor of work simultaneously had significant influenceon job satisfaction of staff of PT. Sinar Pantja Djaja Semarang. The influence ofindividual factor, social factor, and main factor in work was obtained value of 81.147with F table 2.810 or F value = 81.147 > F table 2.810. Partially Individual factor wasthe most dominant factor influencing job satisfaction of staff of PT. Abstract

Employee achivement is an achivement reached by somebody troughthe work behavior ini carrying out work activities. Achvement is a record of the resultsgained trough cartain function of work in a certain period of time. Therefore an employeeshould have achivement measure for his employees. The information of employeeachivement is needed if the employer would like to change the prevailed system. We areoften trapped to evaluate an employee with his work, while system or device doesn’t meetthe standart. The purpose of this research was to find out the influence of motivation,work satisfaction, stres level, job physical condition, compensation system and jobdesign toward work achievement in Religion Ministry office of Central Java province.The population in this research was 230 employess with sample total that was used as bisas 70 employess. The technique sampling used was convenience sampling that istechnique sampling based on ease. The analysis tool used was multiple linier regression,which was firstly examined by validity and reability. The research result showed thatmotivation, work satisfaction, stres level, job physical condition, compensation systemand job design influenced significantly work achievement of employees at ReligionMinistry of central Java Province both partial and simultaneous.Keywords: motivation, work satisfaction, stres level, job physical condition, compensationsystem and job design influenced significantly work achievement of employees.

Abstract

One of the basic human needs is a matter of housing. The function of ahouse has also changed, from the original just as a refuge. Now a house is not enough just totake shelter, but also required to accommodate the needs and desires of its owner asstrategic location, nice and tough building, and comfortable environment. In other words,not only a house for shelter, but also should be a deserved place to live. This study aimed toanalyze the influence of culturee,social, personality and psychology to customer behavior.The population in this study was all customers who have purchased house in the Main GriyaBanjardowo housing,while the number of samples in this study were 70 respondents. Thesampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling method whereas theanalytical tool used was multiple linear regression. The results of hypothesis testing with ttest obtained empirical evidence that cultural factors t table value of 2.019 with asignificance level of probability of (0.048) <0.05, t table of factor social = 2.062 with asignificance level of probability = (0.043) <0.05, the value t table of personality factor of2.816 with a significance level of probability = (0.006) <0.05, and t table value ofpsychological factor with a probability level of significance 3.605 (0.001) <0.05.It can beconcluded that the cultural, social, personal and psychological factors significantlyinfluenced customer behavior partially. Test results using ANOVA or F test obtainedempirical evidence that the cultural, social personal and psychology to customer behaviorwith F value = 254.460 with a significance level of probability (0.000) <0.05.The coefficientof determination (Adjusted R Square) obtained at 0.936. This means that 93.6% of thevariation of customer behavior can be explained by the variation of the four independentvariables, namely factor of culture, social, personality and psychologyy. While the remaining6.4% (100% - 93.6% = 5.1%) was explained by reasons other than the model.Keywords: cultural, social, personal, psychology and consumer behavior
