Abstract

To build togetherness in a relationship by activatingcommunication network in coordination to reach a goal in an organization issomething that needs to be socialized to all members. It must be carried outbecause the members involvement in work implementation has responsibility forthe success of members. Commitment is a circumstance of employees thatgenerates strong positive behavior to work organization. The purpose of thisresearch was to find out and analyze the influence of personal factor,organizational factor and non organization factor to organizational commitment atPT Kubota Indonesia. The population in this research was all employees of PTKubota Indonesia Semarang as 72 employees. The samples were 72 employees.The sampling technique used in this research was purposive sampling. The analysistool used in this research was multiple linier regression which was firstly examinedby validity and reliability test. The result showed that there was positive influenceof personal factor, organizational factor and non organization factor both partialand simultaneous. It means if personal factor, organizational factor and nonorganization factor improve, the organizational commitment will improve.Keywords : personal factor, organizational factor and non organization factor toorganizational commitment

Abstract

Productivity is how to generate or increase the production of goodsand services as rapidly as possible by utilizing resources efficiently. Many factors thataffect the productivity of labor, whether related to labor and the environment associatedwith corporate and government policies increase overall productivity is influenced byseveral factors such as work attitude, relations between labor and organization leaderManagement, productivity, labor efficiency , entrepreneurship (Sedarmayanti, 2001:71)The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work attitudes, skill levels, therelationship between labor and organizations leader, management productivity, laborefficiency, and entrepreneurship on the productivity of the employees of the production ofPT Indo Mazuvo. The population in this study was 50 employees of the production of PTIndo Mazuvo, The Sampling Techniques used was non probability sampling, The analysistools used in this research was the multiple linear regression, which was firstly examinedby validity and reliability test. The results partially showed t value for X1 = 3.837; X2 =15.712; X3 = 7.447; X4 = 2.944; X6 and X5 = 5.436 t = 4.869 while t table 2.012 thatwas in the area reject Ho, meaningit had no significant influence work attitude, skilllevel, the relationship between labor and organizations leader, management productivity,labor efficiency, and entrepreneurship on the productivity of the production employees ofPT Mazuvo indo. While the hypothesis test simultaneously with the test results obtained Fvalue = 522.971> F table = 3.232 it was in the reject Ho area, meaning that there wassignificant influence of work attitude, skill level, the relationship of labor andorganization leader , management productivity, labor efficiency, and entrepreneurship onthe productivity of the employees of the production of PT Indo Mazuvo. The coefficient ofdetermination of the five independent variables of 98.5% means that the variation of thesix independent variables in explaining productivity : 98.5%, while the remaining 1.5%was explained by other variables that were not mentioned in this studyKeywords: productivity, work attitude, skill level, management productivity

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate and analyze service level on thePharmacy assistant pharmacist Purnama Semarang. The data was required in the form of primarydata, the number of patients who come in and is served every weekday. The data was obtainedthrough the observation of which the period was conducted from June 1 to June 30, 2012 from 3:00pm until 9:00 pm. The analysis technique used was multichannel singlephase simulation. The resultsusing multichannel single phase simulation model showed that the expected number of patientsqueuing in the system 3 and Pharmacy Purnama Semarang need to perform additional servicefacilities, the addition of pharmacy assistants from initially taking four to seven pharmacistassistants. At every hour of work with the addition of this decrease patient waiting time before 19minutes 5 seconds to 10 minutes 36 seconds, so that service performance can be achieved accordingto standard set.Keywords: Simulation, Queue, Pharmacist assistants

Abstract

Theoritically, the better the corporate governance structure of the company, the better the company’s performance it gets, so avoided from financial distress. The first objective of this research was to examine the most influence variables of corporate governance structure on financial distress. The second objective was to confirm the past research. A hypothesis showed that corporate governance structure influenced financial distress. The variables as proxy for corporate governance structure used in this research were the number of board of directors, the number of commissioner, public ownership,   the number of board of director out, institutional ownership,  and directors ownership. The samples consisted of 19 companies  listed  in Indonesia Stock Exchange or by using 95 observations during 2003 until 2007 periods. Moreover, it is chosen by purposive sampling. The analysis was started with descriptive statistic. The statistic method which was used to test the research hypothesis was logistic regression. Two log likelihood, Cox and Snell R Square, and Hosmer and Lemeshow test, used to examine goodness of fit model. The analysis showed that two log likehood test, Cox and Snell R Squared test, and Hosmes Lemeshow test denoted which used in this research have goodness of fit. The result of research showed that variables of corporate governance  structure that influenced financial distress were the number of board of directors and the number of commissioner, while the others not influenced. Abstract

This study aims to identify the influence of individual factors and organizationalfactors to political behavior and the work outcomes of employees in the banking sector in fivemajor cities in Java (Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta and Surabaya). The study alsoidentifies the influence of political behavior directly to the work outcomes. This study adoptsthe theory of Stephen P. Robbins that summarizes the 6 indicators of individual factors, 9indicators of organization factors, 9 indicators of political behavior, and 12 indicators of thework outcomes. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires via e-mail.Respondents who had captured a number of 180, spread across five cities which are Jakarta(100 respondents), Bandung (20 respondents), Semarang (20 respondents), Yogyakarta (20respondents), and Surabaya (20 respondents). The relationship between variables in this studywere analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study showed regression weightof individual factors to political behavior with regression coefficient of 0,230; organizationalfactors to political behavior with regression coefficient of 0,251; individual factors to thework outcomes with regression coefficient of 0,204; organizational factors to the work outcomeswith regression coefficient of 0,173; political behavior to the work outcomes with regressioncoefficient of 0,295. From these results known to have significant positive influence variablesof individual and organization factors to political behavior and work outcomes. Politicalbehavior is also evident in a direct and significant positive effect to work outcomes.Keywords : individual factors, organizational factors, political behavior, the workoutcomes.

Abstract

Hedging is an action taken to protect companies from exposure to exchange rates. Exposure to exchange rate fluctuations is the vulnerability of firms affected by exchange rate fluctuations. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the company's hedging policy. The population is a nonfinancial manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2011-2015. The data used comes from the financial statements of each company. The analysis technique used is logistic regression analysis. The research findings show that growth opportunity negatively affect the company's hedging policy, while liquidity, firm size, financial distress, leverage, and managerial ownership have a positive effect on company's hedging policy. This finding is expected to be a consideration for investors before investing in manufacturing companies in BEI.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the influence of intrinsic and extrinsic factors on commitment and impact on the performance of employees of Sejahtera Sunindo Trada Company. The populations in this study were employees of Sejahtera Sunindo Trada totaling 100 people. The entire population was sampled, so that the samples were 100 respondents. No sampling technique for this study since used census study which all employees which the workshop became respondents.The analytical tool used in this research was Structural Equation Model (SEM) using Partial Least Square (PLS). The first hypothesis testing showed there was no significant positive influnce between intrinsic factors and commitment by the t value was smaller than the value t table 1.274 < 1.96. The second hypothesis testing showed there was no with significant positive influnce between extrinsic factors with the commitment to the value of t is greater than t table is 1.973 > 1.96. The third hypothesis testing showed no significant positive influnce between commitment and performance and the intrinsic value of the t less than the value t table is 1.181 < 1.96. The fourth hypothesis showed there was no significant positive influence between intrinsic and performance with the value t was greater than t table 3.008 > 1.96. The fifth hypothesis was there no significant positive influence between extrinsic factors and performance by the t value greater than the value t table is 3.864 > 1.96.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Organizational Culture, Organizational Commitment, and Work Motivation to Employee Statisfaction andPerformance (case study on PT. Pandowo Utomo Food Semarang). The population in this study is all employees of PT. Pandowo Utomo Food distribution section totaling 157 people. The number of samples proposed in this study is the entire population that amounted to 157 people. In this study did not use sampling technique, because the number of samples used in this study were all population (census). The analytical tool used in this study is SEM based component or variance-PLS. The result of the study stated that Organizational Culture and Work Motivation have a significant positive effect on Job Statisfaction, while Organizational Commitment has no significant positive effect on Job Statisfaction. Organizational Culture has a significant positive effect on EmployeePerformance, while Organizational Commitment, Work Motivation, and Job Statisfaction have no significant effect on Employee Performance.
