Abstract

Tanaman Stevia merupakan salah satu tanaman sumber pemanis alami. Rasa manis daun Stevia adalah steviosida, rebaudiosida dan dulkosida. Penanaman eksplan daun Stevia pada medium New Phaleonopsis (NP) ditambah kinetin dan glukosa bertujuan untuk mendapatkan senyawa steviosida dalam waktu yang singkat dalam jumlah banyak. Kinetin ditambahkan sebanyak 0,5; 1; 1,5 dan 2 mg/L. Glukosa ditambahkan 20 g/L dan 25 g/L. Hasil pertumbuhan berupa kalus atau planlet diekstraksi dengan metanol. Pemeriksaan kadar steviosida dengan Kromatografi Cair Kinerja Tinggi. Kadar steviosida tertinggi diperoleh pada planlet yang tumbuh pada medium NP ditambah kinetin 2 mg/L dan glukosa 25 g/L.

Abstract

Breadfruit leaves are medicinal plants containing compounds such as flavonoids, saponins, tannins, polyphenols that function in wound healing. This study aimed to determine the variation of the concentration of the gelling agent carbopol 940 on the physical properties of the gel and the duration of the burn wound healing process on gel administration. This study used New Zealand White rabbits. They were divided into five groups. They were positive control (bioskin®), negative control, breadfruit leaf extract gel formula with variations in carbopol concentrations of 0,5%, 1%, and 2%, respectively. Burn percentage was analyzed using SPSS with Kolmogorov- Smirnov test to see normality, Levene test to see homogeneity, if the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, followed by Two Way ANOVA analysis with Post hoc Tukey significance of 0.005. The results of breadfruit leaf extract variations in the gelling agent carbopol 940 affect the physical properties. The increase in the concentration of the gelling agent causes an increase in viscosity, adhesion and decreases dispersion. Variations in the concentration of carbopol effective for healing burns was formula II (breadfruit leaf extract gel formula with variations in carbopol concentrations of 1%). Therefore, the provision of breadfruit leaf extract gel can accelerate the healing process of burns

Abstract

Telon oil and children have been an inseparable unity. The making of telon oil from easy-to-find traditional ingredients can encourage home industry ideas for economic growth. The use of essential oils (orange oil/ lavender oil) as components of the making of telon oil is expected to avoid mosquito bites causing itching and even dengue fever. The community service activity program aims to provide training of anti-mosquito telon oil making to keep children healthy. The participants of the program include a cadre of PKK (Family Welfare Movement) members in RW (Community Unit) 21, Nusukan Village, Banjarsari Sub-district, Surakarta. The community service activity began with the explanation of natural ingredients used to make telon oil as well as their benefits. Afterward, the training was conducted through several stages including a tutorial, technical assistance by the community service team, and evaluation of the activity. The results of the activity are: 1) the participants have an understanding of the benefits of the ingredients used; 2) the participants understand the procedure to make the anti-mosquito telon oil; 3) the participants can make the anti-mosquito telon oil by themselves.

Abstract

Sulfonamides and tetracyclines are a group of synthetic antibacterials that are widely used in veterinary practice for the treatment and prevention of infections in animals that can be consumed by humans. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimum conditions for High-Performance Liquid Chromatography for simultaneous analysis of sulfadiazine, sulfamethoxazole, and tetracycline and meet the validation requirements. The research method used is the HPLC method. The instruments used are Agilent 1220 Infinity II low-pressure dual-channel gradient valve, variable wavelength detector (VWD) BI detector, the column used is Agilent 5 TC-C18 (250 x 4.6 mm), motion phase A = acetic acid 0.08%: acetonitrile (9:1) and motion phase B = methanol with a flow rate gradient of 0.5 mL/minute and UV-VIS detector at wavelength 295 hm. The results showed that the method of determining the levels of sulfadiazine, sulfamethoxazole, and tetracycline met the requirements of selectivity, accuracy, precision, linearity, LOD, and LOQ and could be applied to fish samples. The accuracy parameter test obtained recovery results between 96.99%-103.16% at all sample concentration levels of 80%, 100%, and 120%. Testing the precision parameters showed that all sample concentrations were 100% repeated for 6 times replications, fulfilling the precision requirements, namely, the concentration of ≥10 ppm was < 7.3%. The linearity test showed that the correlation coefficient of sulfadiazine was 0.999, sulfamethoxazole was 0.999, and tetracycline was 0.998. LOD and LOQ values of sulfadiazine 1.15 ppm and 3.84 ppm, sulfamethoxazole LOD 2.51 ppm and LOQ 8.37 ppm, and tetracycline LOD 3.37 ppm and LOQ 11.22 ppm. Applications to fish samples were carried out by addition and obtained levels of 14.79 ppm sulfadiazine, 14.01 ppm sulfamethoxazole, and 45.05 ppm tetracycline.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe professional development of the teachers through the writing of scientific papers needs to be improved. The obstacle faced by teachers so they did not write scientific paper mainly are caused by limitation of time and not understanding the rules of writing a scientific paper. This devotional activity aims to improve  teachers' motivation to write scientific papers and improve the ability for the teachers to write scientific papers to produce as many articles as published in scientific journals. The method used is situational analysis by interviewing the principal and distributing questionnaires. Furthermore, the preparation of materials, lectures and discussions, as well as accompaniment of scientific writing until the participants successfully publish their articles in scientific journalsKeywords: quality improvement, scientific papers, teachers ABSTRAKPengembangan profesionalitas guru melalui penulisan karya ilmiah perlu ditingkatkan. Kendala yang dihadapi guru sehingga tidak menulis karya ilmiah terutama adalah belum ada waktu dan belum paham aturan penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi guru menulis karya ilmiah dan  meningkatkan kemampuan guru menulis karya ilmiah hingga dihasilkan sebanyak mungkin artikel yang dipublikasikan di jurnal ilmiah. Abstract

Wedang Uwuh is a well-known traditional health drink from Imogiri, Bantul and Yogyakarta. Ginger is one of the components of wedang uwuh. In Indonesia, ginger comes in three different varieties: red, emprit, and elephant ginger. The aim of this study was to identify the best ginger varieties for wedang uwuh, as well as the ideal brewing period that would yield the most antioxidant activity. After being identified, each plant in the wedang uwuh recipe was brewed in boiling water for 10, 20, and 30 minutes. By using TLC and a test tube, the water wedang uwuh steeped was identified as flavonoids and phenols. The DPPH method was employed in this study's antioxidant activity test. Wedang uwuh containing red ginger brewed for 10 minutes has higher antioxidant activity compared to elephant and emprit ginger, with an IC50 value of 27.73 µg/mL. The Friedman test results on the examination of the type of ginger and the brewing time wedang uwuh was brewed on IC50 obtained p = 0.000 where p<? (0,05). This demonstrates that the brewing time and kind of ginger used in wedang uwuh have an impact on the IC50 value. Keywords:          Antioxidant, ginger, wedang uwuh, DPPH   Abstrak Wedang Uwuh adalah minuman kesehatan tradisional khas Imogiri, Bantul dan Yogyakarta. Salah satu bahan wedang uwuh adalah jahe. Ada tiga jenis jahe di Indonesia: jahe gajah, merah dan emprit. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antioksidan terbaik dari wedang uwuh dengan variasi jenis jahe dan waktu penyeduhan yang paling tepat untuk wedang uwuh agar menghasilkan aktivitas antioksidan paling tinggi. Semua tanaman dalam formula wedang uwuh dideterminasi kemudian diseduh menggunakan air mendidih selama 10, 20, dan 30 menit. Air seduhan wedang uwuh diidentifikasi flavonoid dan fenol dengan KLT dan uji tabung. Uji aktivitas antioksidan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode DPPH. Wedang uwuh dengan kandungan jahe merah yang diseduh selama 10 menit memiliki aktivitas antioksidan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan jahe gajah dan emprit, dengan nilai IC50 27,73 µg/mL. Hasil uji friedman pada analisis jenis jahe dan waktu penyeduhan wedang uwuh terhadap IC50 diperoleh p = 0,000 dimana p<? (0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh jenis jahe dan waktu penyeduhan wedang uwuh terhadap nilai IC50. Kata Kunci:         Antioksidan, jahe, wedang uwuh, DPPH

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus drugs currently available are sulfonylureas, biguanides, thiazolidines, and alpha glucoside inhibitors which are widely used to control hyperglycemia. These drugs cannot prevent complications of diabetes, and these drugs should not be used continuously because it causes undesirable pathological conditions. The essential oil in lime peel is rich in phenolics, especially flavonoids, which can prevent oxidative stress. This research was carried out computationally to determine the affinity of the compound mechanism in lime, pharmacokinetic profile, and toxicity of the chemical content of lime which is thought to have antihyperglycemic activity using chemoinformatics studies. The hardware used is an Asus laptop X441UB-GA502T Intel Core I5 – 8250 DDR 4 4GB HD 1TB VGA mix 110 2GB screen 14 "DVD-RW WIN 10 ORI. The software used is PLANTS (PROTEIN-LIGAND ANT SYSTEM), YASARA, Marvin sketch, Swisstargetprediction, SwissADME, and Toxtree. All compounds in lime were most active against the target protein PPARγ with an average value of -78.0092, while the positive control value of thiazolidinediones was -90.3393. The highest inhibitory affinity of the compound contained in lime was hesperidin with the target protein DPP-4 of -113.614, higher than the positive control sitagliptin with an inhibitory affinity value of -107.591. Hesperidin absorption in the digestive tract is low, the topology polar surface area (TPSA) value is 234.29Å2, and low polarity and high lipophilicity. There are unexpected heterocyclic compounds, so it becomes a warning against the potential for genotoxic carcinogenicity, namely oxygen element "o".

Abstract

Ruxolitinib adalah obat penghambat Janus Kinase 1 dan 2 oleh Food and Drud Administration (FDA) pada tahun 2011 yang ditetapkan sebagai pengobatan mielofibrosis dengan risiko sedang hingga tinggi. Ruxolitinib memiliki ketidakstabilan terhadap cahaya yang dapat menyebabkan penurunan kadar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh metode analisis yang selektif, akurat dan tepat untuk menentukan kadar dan mengetahui stabilitas ruxolitinib. Penentuan kondisi optimum RP-HPLC dari pengembangan metode analisis dengan variasi komposisi fasa gerak, laju alir, konsentrasi buffer dan pH buffer. Metode analisis baru menentukan kadar ruxolitinib secara RP-HPLC menggunakan kolom C18 Hypersil ODS, panjang gelombang 310 nm, komposisi fase gerak asetonitril: H2O: buffer sitrat (75:20:5), volume injeksi 20 μL, buffer sitrat 0,10 M dan pH 5,8. Kurva kalibrasi antara konsentrasi ruxolitinib pada kisaran 1000-1800 μg/mL, koefisien korelasi 0,9997. Akurasi 99,65%, presisi pengulangan 0,17%, presisi antar hari 0,36%, LOD 26,48 μg/ml, dan LOQ 88,26 μg/ml. Penurunan kadar ruxolitinib setelah pemberian paparan asam sebesar 82,56%, basa sebesar 88,01%, cahaya sebesar 69,06%, suhu sebesar 75,29%. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa metode yang dihasilkan dari pengembangan metode dan validasinya memenuhi kriteria validasi, penentuan kadar ruxolitinib menunjukkan paparan asam, basa, suhu dan cahaya yang tidak stabil.
