Abstract

This research aims to determine the potential of oil palm plantation land located in Basidondo District, Tolitoli Regency, by weighting and overlaying mapping and looking at the economic value support. By using Land Suitability analysis which is then matched or matched to the land suitability matrix and land capabilities owned by Basidondo District, potential land use directions are obtained. This research is descriptive qualitative in nature with the geographical approach used being the Spatial Approach. This research uses observation techniques and literature review collection. The research results show that the actual land suitability class for oil palm plants in the research area has 1 (one) subclass, namely: Class S2 (quite suitable) at SPL 3 with a land area of 115,939.80 ha, and for SPL 4 with a land area of 11. 151,500 ha, generally limited by nutrient retention (f), available nutrients (n), and flooding. Class S3 (according to Marginal) is found at SPL 1 with a land area of 215,648.99 ha and SPL 2 with a land area of 442,386.00 ha, generally limited by nutrient retention (f), erosion hazard (e) slope, nutrient available (n).

Abstract

The small industry is a form of the people's economy that has the potential to develop the people's economy and have an impact on increasing the national economy and can help overcome the problem of unemployment. In 2020 the economy of Donggala Regency experienced a decline which reached -4.26 percent but in 2021 again showed positive growth reaching 4.64 percent. Wombo Kalonggo Village has several small industries that have the potential to be developed, including the fried onion and copra industries. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are two small industries in Wombo Kalonggo Village, namely fried onion production and copra production. The business potential for fried onions and copra in Wombo Kalonggo Village is still very large. This is supported by the geographical location and the potential of local commodities in the development of fried onion and copra industries. The development of the fried onion and copra business is so rapid as evidenced by the fact that the marketing already exists outside the city of Palu and there are even buyers who come directly to the production site. An increase or decrease in sales depends on market prices and the needs of consumers who consume fried onions, while for copra the increase or decrease in sales depends on product quality and weather conditions. Constraints are faced by the lack of capital and raw materials.

The type of research conducted is quantitative descriptive with the geographical approach used that is the ecological approach. This research uses observation techniques and measurements directly in the field as well as data collection through library study. The results showed that bonebula beach is broadly in the appropriate category (S2) to be developed into a coastal tourist attraction with indicators of land suitability being at a value of 380 with the provision of land conformity matrix value S1= >400, S2= 200 -400, S3= 100-200, and NT= <100. While the feasibility level of Bonebula Beach tourism was developed by SWOT analysis method, the matrix used in this study using ifas matrix and EFAS obtained SWOT diagram with SO strategy that has strength and opportunity. Education is a basic human need with the aim of achieving high productivity. The results of field surveys in Banawa Regency show that the availability of educational facilities to meet educational needs, based on population projections in 2044, has not yet reached the optimal level. Therefore, careful planning is needed in improving and placing educational facilities. This research aims to evaluate the availability of educational facilities according to the needs of the population, by applying an analysis of the carrying capacity of facilities based on public service standards regulated in SNI 03-1733-2004 concerning urban area planning. The methodology used involves analysis of the carrying capacity of facilities to determine the population's need for educational facilities, population projections using geometric formulas to calculate the expected number of residents in the projected year, as well as spatial analysis using Geographic Information System (GIS) software to assess the distribution of facilities. education in Banawa District. The findings from this research indicate that currently there are 82 units of educational facilities in Banawa District, consisting of 39 PAUD units, 31 elementary school units, 8 junior high school units, and 4 high school units.
