Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that affect the income of fruit traders in Palakka Market, Bone Regency. The population in this study was fruit traders in Palakka Market, Bone Regency, the number of samples in this study was 97 respondents. Sampling is used by using a system random sampling, the technique is a sampling technique where all individuals in the population. The results of data analysis research that is known states that trading capital, trading hours, and trading experience each have a significant effect on the income of traders. R Square value of 0.503 means that 50.3% of the factors affecting fruit traders' income can be explained by trading capital, trading hours and trading experience, while 49.7% is explained in other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) is one of health problems that exist in developing and developed countries, and a major cause of morbidity and mortality in toddlers. The existence of ARI is influenced by environmental conditions, the availability and effectiveness of health care and preventive measures to prevent the spread of infection, host factor (such as age, smoking habits, ability infectious host, immunity status, nutritional status, prior infection or simultaneous infections caused by others pathogen, general health conditions) and the characteristics of pathogen. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the risk factor of ARI in toddlers at working area of Public Health Center Jati Raya In Kendari Municipality 2012. This research is an analytic observational with case control design. The sample in the research were 68 case respondents and 68 control respondents taken by using purposive sampling, the respondent is the toddler’s mother. Data is collected from August to October 2012 at working area of Public Health Center Jati Raya In Kendari Municipality by conducting interview through questionnaire. Data is analyzed by using odds ratio statistic test and presented in form of univariate and bivariate table. The result of this research show that the density of dwelling house (OR=3,596) and smoke exposure (OR=7,8) are the risk factor for the existence of ARI in toddlers, while exclusive breastfeeding is a protective factor for the existence of ARI in toddlers.From these result it could be concluded that the density of dwelling house and smoke exposure are the risk factor exclusive breastfeeding is a protective factor for the existence of ARI in toddlers at working area of Public Health Center Jati Raya In Kendari Municipality 2012.Key Words: ARI, density of dwelling house, smoke exposure, exclusive breastfeeding

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh career development (pengembangan karir) terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT.PLN (Persero) Rayon Sungguminasa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang diolah adalah hasil dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan PT. PLN (persero) Rayon Sungguminasa dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 115 karyawan dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 54 responden.Metode Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan accidental sampling.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linear sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah dilakukan bahwa hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara career development (pengembangan karir) terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Sungguminasa.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analysis the risk factors incompliance treatment of TB patient.in Kendari city. The study was a control case design, with 136 respondents consist of 68 cases and 68 controls .The cases samples were all newly TB patients aged 15 years old and above who incompliance treatment .The control samples were all newly TB patients aged 15 years old and above, who compliance treatment. The analysis of the data with tabulation system and statistics by the SPSS with odds ratio. The results of the study indicated that from three variables assumed risky to incompliance to take medicine, there were four variables found to have risk of incompliance , i.e., knowledge OR is 5,492, and activity supervisor to take medicine OR is 4,166. The conclusion : Knowledge, activity supervisor to take medicine, side effect of the drug and feeling better were constitute risk factors to incompliance treatment of TB patient in kendari city

Abstract

The use of a foreign language in communication takes more effort to avoid misunderstanding between the speaker and the listener who is notan English native speaker. The reason is a foreign language has different letters, pronunciation, and sentence structure. English which is well-known as an international language is an important language to master by Indonesian students to face the globalization. However, taught as a second language, many Indonesian still find it difficult to pronounce English sounds correctly. This workshop aims to reinforce the participants’ pronunciation, especially for English consonant sounds so they can pronoun the sounds correctly. This workshop was held using Google Meet because at that time social distancing was required and the college instructed all the learning process are conducted online. The participants showed positive attitude during the workshop and it was found some difficulties by students while practicing the English consonant sounds.

Abstract

Modifying 4C Competencies in EFL Classrooms Following Pandemic. The adoption of 4C competences in post-pandemic EFL classrooms is the main focus of this study. The researcher employed the descriptive qualitative method. Both observation and interviews were used to get data for this investigation. The lecturer for the class on extensive reading and the second-year English language study program students who were enrolled in it. The Extensive Reading lecturer and students have implemented the 4C skills in the teaching and learning process, according to the data analysis results. Based on the results of the research, the 4C competencies support students' creativity as part of the application of creative competencies. One of the lecturer's assignments in the classroom was to have the students fresh concepts for the content being covered.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work conflict and work morale on employee performance at the North Galesong District Office, Takala Regency. This research method is descriptive quantitative using simple regression analysis. Research data was obtained from respondents through a questionnaire with 32 employees as respondents. Statistical analysis was carried out using the SPSS 20 program. The research results obtained by the author of the work conflict variable (????1) and employee performance variable (Y) show that the significant value is 0.310 (>0.05). Obtained t table of 2.048 with a t count of 1.035 then (1.035<2.048) with a significant value (0.310>0.05) then it can be concluded that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that the partial (individual) work conflict variable has no significant effect on employee performance and The partial test (t) of the work enthusiasm variable (????2) on employee performance (Y) shows a significant value of 0.015 (<0.05). Obtained a t table of 2.048 with a calculated t of 2.616 so (2.616>2.048) is significant (0.015<0.05) then it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the partial (individual) workload variable has a significant effect on employee performance. The tcount value is positive, meaning that the influence that occurs is positive, or can be interpreted as decreasing the workload, which will increase employee performance

Abstract

MTBS merupakan salah satu indikator Renstra 2020-2024 bahwa semua Puskesmas harus menerapkan pendekatan MTBS pada kunjungan balita sakit dengan target 87%. Di Kota Kendari sendiri cakupan Puskesmas yang telah menerapkan MTBS tahun 2018-2020 sekitar 67%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan faktor serta pengetahuan, sikap, fasilitas dan dukungan pimpinan yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pelayanan balita sakit di Puskesmas yang melakukan dan tidak melaksanakan MTBS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain case control. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan (p=0,031) dan fasilitas (p=0,009), sedangkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sikap (p=0,946) dan dukungan kepemimpinan (p=0,604) pada penerapan MTBS di pusat kesehatan. Disarankan agar dinas kesehatan dapat berkoordinasi dengan seluruh Puskesmas yang ada di Kota Kendari agar dapat memberikan MTBS berupa pelatihan dan pelayanan kepada tenaga kesehatan agar dapat melaksanakan ICMI secara optimal.
