Abstract

Science and Technology for Hydroponics can be use in a limited land areas . This Hydroponic System uses a pump load to drain water continuously using PLN power and result in a waste of electricity costs. therefore this study applies a Hybrid ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) System using PLTS power and PLN power for pump loads that drain water continuously using internet of things technology so that it can be monitored at any time. The ATS System performs Automatic Switching (disconnect flow a electric) If the PLTS power less than <10V and connects PLN power so that that the pump load remains on until the PLTS power recovers and the Blynk application sends a notification that the PLTS flow condition is cut off and PLN is connected. Error reading from the INA219 sensor at the voltage output is 0.4 -0.6% and the current is 3.0%. The TDS sensor reads the PPM value of hydroponic water from 08.00 to 18.00 with an average 0f 291.38 PPM.

Abstract

In adults to the old age, check health conditions such as blood pressure, blood s ugar levels, and others are needed regularly. Medical devices generally only be operated by doctors. Healthcare companies always develop medical devices for efficiency in use and minimize costs in manufacture. In this study, researchers made a design for monitoring blood pressure, non-invasive blood sugar, weight, and body temperature based on the Internet of Things. This tool uses NodeMCU microcontroller, which processes sensor MAX30100 and DS18B20. The MAX30100 sensor is used to detect blood pressure and blood sugar non-invasive. By put finger index on the sensor, the results will display after 20 seconds. DS18B20 sensor is used to measure realtime body temperature by clamp the sensor to the armpit. Load Cell sensors and the HX711 module are used to measure body weight. Results on measurements on LCD 20x4 and android using the Blynk application with the internet.Test analysis with a compare of the manufacturer's standard tools. The results, accuracy of tool are 94.78% and 93,37% in the measurement systole and diastole, 93,21% in measuring blood sugar, 96,55% in measuring body temperature, and 98,27% in measuring body weight. The results on Android can display if there is an internet or wifi connection without place restrictions.

Abstract

Every day visitors to the UMSIDA electrical engineering laboratory have different goals. The main function of the laboratory is as a practicum for electrical engineering students and is also used to work on coursework. This study aims to control the use of laboratory PCs using Internet of Things-based RFID card verification. The application of RFID connected to the Wemos D1 Mini is expected to be able to reduce unexpected actions such as theft and hacking of data on the PC. The PC will be installed with an RFID reader to verify the RFID card as the initial stage of PC use. The results of the research trials showed that by bringing the RFID card from 0 cm to 2.5 cm closer to the RFID reader, the RFID card was successfully verified effectively. When the RFID card is successfully verified by the RFID reader, the PC will automatically turn on, the verification results will be displayed on the 16 x 2 LCD and android smartphone so that they can monitor every time and get an android notification that sends information that the verification process was successful and the PC is on. Laboratory PCs are safer from unwanted use by using RFID technology that is connected to the Wemos D1 Mini for monitoring and controlling via a smartphone remotely in real-time because before using a PC, it must go through a verification process.

Abstract

Solar energy is a source of energy and has advantages compared to fossil energy. Indeed, further research and development of this type of solar power is needed, including at the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. The use of solar energy is carried out by installing photovoltaic (PV) cells with a photovoltaic output control system that uses MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) and PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to regulate the load used and charge the battery. The two PV control methods have different characteristics. These differences will be analyzed based on the characteristics of the load and sunlight contained in the electrical engineering laboratory of the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. It can be seen from the results of the analysis that at power above 200 W, MPPT has a better voltage stability than PWM.

Abstract

One of the most important and expensive power lines in the distribution method is the low line voltage. In case of overload or short circuit current, it protects the electrical installation. MCB is an important component in electrical installations. The formation of sparks due to a short circuit can eventually cause a fire which has the potential to cause a fire, which is an unwanted MCB nuisance. This MCB can be used as a direct current breaker with a load, either manually or automatically. When the MCB is switched from "ON" to "OFF", the mechanical part in the MCB cuts off the electric current. The manual method involves turning off the toggle switch in front of the MCB (usually blue or black). The finished tool is then tested to see how well components such as AC MCB, DC MCB, Volt meter, LED lamps, Outlets, and lamp fittings perform. The function of the analysis of the characteristics of the use of DC MCBs for the use of DC loads works to compare the use of DC MCBs on AC loads and which ones are the most effective and the circuit is given a load until the MCB trips and amperes and volts are measured in the circuit.

Abstract

Theft in a place of worship is a crime by stealing things that are not privately owned but public propertywithout permission and these activities are carried out from religious places such as mosques, churches andmonasteries. The theft of charity box funds is an interesting topic for some people and the mosque manager personallyin particular, considering that charity box funds are general funds intended for the renovation or purchase of mosqueneeds and the needs of religious events. By using a microcontroller as an auxiliary component to monitor valuables. This microcontroller control system can be used to secure charity box funds in any mosque equipped with a securityfeature based on Selenoid door locks that can only be opened by ESP 32-CAM and using a vibration sensor will detectshocks and a buzzer will sound. sounds like an alarm for Telegram to alert the Mosque management in the event ofthe forced destruction of the charity box. So, looking at the source of the problem and technological developments ashappened before, it is very appropriate to use them to reduce the rampant theft in mosques. Therefore researcherswill design a tool, namely a camera system and security for charity boxes based on the internet of things and telegrams.

Abstract

Failed brakes are an event or damage to a motorized vehicle component that can cause an accident as well as be a life threat to the driver. There are several factors that can cause brake failure, including thin or worn brake pads, and clogged brake fluid hoses. The problem that often occurs is overheating in the brake system which causes brake failure (fading). Failed brake events are more common in hilly descent areas, these accidents make brake failure the second most common accident after driver negligence such as drowsiness. One of the efforts to prevent the failure of the brakes to occur is to make a brake safety system on an automatic Arduino Uno motorbike. The method applied includes planning, manufacturing, and testing of tools. This detector uses the DS18B20 sensor as input, Arduino uno as a microcontroller, 16 x 2 LCD as direct monitoring, and the output is an LED light and a buzzer. The working principle of this tool is that the temperature of the brake calipers has started to heat up, so the DS18B20 sensor works by generating data that will be displayed on the LCD, and when it reaches the temperature limit of 100 degrees Celsius at the same time the buzzer sounds and the LED light turns on and the water pump functions which will spray part of the system. braking. During the heating process, the temperature will be monitored via the LCD display on the vehicle. The test results of this tool will be affected by the hot temperature of the DS18B20 sensor.
