Abstract

This study aims to know the improvement of student self-regulated learning (SRL) through blended learning. The method used is a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent pre-test and post-test control-group. The subjects were students of mathematics education in the University of PGRI Palembang which consists of 54 students. They were divided into two groups of samples, namely the experimental class and control class. Experiment class got blended learning treatment, while control class got conventional learning. Research instrument consists of students initial ability (SIA) test and KBM questionnaire. Data were analyzed quantitative descriptive. The results show that the improvement of SRL who get blended learning is not better than students who get conventional learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas X melalui model blended learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental dengan desain posttest only control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Arinda Palembang yang terdiri dari 48 siswa terbagi ke dalam dua kelompok sampel, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan berupa model blended learning, sedangkan kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran biasa (PB). Instrumen penelitian ini terdiri dari tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dalam bentuk soal essay. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan BL lebih baik secara signifikan daripada kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran biasa. dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas X melalui model blended learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran self efficacy siswa dengan strategy inquiry based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.I SMP Negeri 22 Palembang yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi dan angket. Observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui self efficacy siswa sejak awal proses pembelajaran dengan cara memberi tanda centang untuk setiap indikator yang tampak. Angket disajikan dalam bentuk skala Likert, dimana pernyataan yang diajukan berupa pernyataan positif dan negatif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan cara menjumlahkan skor yang diperoleh dan menentukan letak dari jumlah skor yang diperolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Self-Efficacy siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika sebesar 90,62% termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata skor observasi sebesar 59,38% dan skor angket sebesar 90,62%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui penggunaan media handout berbantuan camtasia studio pada mata kuliah metode numerik materi persamaan nirlanjar. Media pembelajaran handout berbantuan camtasia studio merupakan salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan oleh mahasiswa sebagai pengganti buku ajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa kelas V.A program studi pendidikan matematika FKIP Universitas PGRI Palembang semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 33 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes. Data hasil tes dianalisis secara deskrptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar mahasiswa melalui penggunaan media camtasia berbantuan handout pada materi persamaan nirlanjar termasuk dalam kategori baik.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the mathematical problem solving skills of junior high school students in relationship materials and functions with Polya strategy. The method used in research is a qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 35 Palembang with a class XI.6 research sample of 30 people. The research subjects were taken by 6 students, who were grouped into three categories, namely high, medium and low who were taken 2 people each from each category.. The data collection techniques in this study are tests, interviews and documentation. The results of the data obtained are then analyzed using data reduction analysis techniques, data presentation and verification. So the results of the study show that: 1) students who have high category problem solving skills are able to carry out all stages of problem solving, 2) students who have problem solving skills category are able to carry out the problem solving stages of the problem, but at the stage of carrying out planning and problem solving students make mistakes in operation and are not able to perform the stage of planning the answer correctly, 3) students who have low category problem solving skills are only able to carry out one stage that is understanding the problem and not being able to carry out the stage of planning the solving strategy planning and troubleshooting and re-examining the answers obtained correctly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CORE learning model assisted  by  Macromedia  Flash  8 on  students'  mathematical  problem  solving abilities. This research method uses Groub Design Posttest-Only Control. The population in this study were all eighth grade students in State Middle School 15 Palembang in the 2018/2019 school year. The study sample was 59 students consisting of 30 students from class VIII.9 as the experimental class and 29 students from class VIII.8 as the control class. Samples were taken using Simple Random Sampling techniques. Data was collected through tests of students' mathematical problem solving skills in relation material and functions. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Independent Sample T-Test t-test. The results of the Posttest analysis mean the value of the experimental  class  is  80.34  and  the  average  value  of  the  control  class  is  73.10. Research shows that there is a significant effect of the CORE learning model assisted by Macromedia Flash 8 on mathematical problem solving abilities of students of Palembang State Middle School 15.

Abstract

                                             Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa PGSD mengenai topik geometri dasar, serta mengidentifikasi kesulitan belajar mahasiswa pada topik geometri dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 40 orang mahasiswa tingkat pertama Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas PGRI Palembang. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis tentang materi geometri dasar. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa adalah 57,83 termasuk dalam kategori cukup. Dengan rincian 2 orang mahasiswa dengan kategori sangat baik, 14 orang mahasiswa dengan kategori baik, 15 orang mahasiswa dengan kategori cukup dan 9 orang mahasiswa dengan kategori kurang baik. Indikator kemampuan pemahaman matematis yang paling banyak muncul adalah kemampuan dalam mengklasifikasikan objek, sedangkan indikator yang paling sedikit adalah kemampuan dalam menjelaskan simetri lipat dan simetri putar pada bangun datar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis mahasiswa PGSD pada topik geometri dasar berada dalam kategori cukup.   Kata kunci : geometri, kesulitan belajar, pemahaman konsep matematis ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe students’ understanding mathematical concepts of PGSD students regarding basic geometry topics, as well as identify student learning difficulties on basic geometry topics. This research uses descriptive research method. The research subjects consisted of 40 first-year students of the Primary School Teacher Education Study Program at the Palembang PGRI University. Data in this study were collected through written tests on basic geometry material. Analysis of the data used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis revealed that the average ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students was 57.83 included in the sufficient category. With the details of 2 students in very good categories, 14 students in good categories, 15 students in adequate categories and 9 students in poor categories. The most common indicator of mathematical understanding is the ability to classify objects, while the least indicator is the ability to explain folding symmetry and rotational symmetry on a flat figure. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of PGSD students on basic geometry topics is in the sufficient category. Keywords :  geometry, learning difficulties, understanding mathematical                     concepts

Abstract

Improving the quality of learning in schools is carried out by various strategies, one of which is developing teaching materials. The development of teaching materials in modules is currently a very urgent need. Because the application of the module can make learning activities more well-planned, independent, complete, and precise results so that educators can assist schools in realizing quality learning. However, in reality, many educators have difficulty making teaching modules that suit the needs of students. Due to educators' lack of knowledge and training to make teaching modules. Therefore, this PKM activity aims 1) to introduce and equip educators about teaching modules, 2) to assist educators in making teaching modules. The implementation method used in this activity is lecture, practice, and discussion. The activities were conducted online using the Zoom application and offline at SMA Negeri 2 Tebing Tinggi Empat Lawang. The steps in PKM activities are 1) preparation, 2) implementation, 3) reflection. Data was collected through a questionnaire. The implementation of PKM activities showed that the training activities ran smoothly, and the participants were enthusiastic about participating in the training. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that 72.8% of the participants stated that this training activity could increase their knowledge and understanding of the module, and 83.3% stated that this training activity could train the skills of educators in doing modules. This activity can contribute to educators producing practical modules to use in the learning process

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan video pembelajaran pada materi Barisan dan Deret kelas X SMK yang valid, praktis, dan mengetahui efek potensial video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development,Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X SMK N 6 Banyuasin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid berdasarkan oleh penilaian ketiga validator dengan rata-rata 87,33%. Video juga dinyatakan sangat praktis berdasarkan angket respon peserta didik dengan total skor rata-rata 84,22%; dan video dinyatakan memiliki efek potensial berdasarkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan persentase sebesar 82,2%.
