Abstract

The current technological development is very rapid. This is marked by the number of applications that appear to facilitate human activities, one of which is learning activities. Geogebra is one application or media used in learning mathematics, especially on the material, algebra, trigonometry, geometry, calculus and statistics. Learning and teaching activities (KBM) on statistical materials using Geogebra media make the KBM process more enjoyable especially in the material of pie chart, histogram, median, mode, mean, kuarti vaians, standard deviation and histogram. This is because the use of learning media KBM well will present a different learning susana and not boring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesikan soal materi keliling dan luas lingkaran ditinjau dari Adversity Quotient (AQ) siswa. Terdapat 3 tipe AQ yaitu Climbers (tinggi, cukup), Campers dan Quitters (kurang, rendah). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa Angket (AQ), tes tertulis berjumlah 9 soal uraian dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Darul Aitam Palembang, dengan subjek seluruh siswa kelas IX.3 berjumlah 30 orang siswa untuk dianalisis jenis kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika materi keliling dan luas lingkaran berdasarkan AQ yang mereka milliki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) siswa yang memiliki AQ pada tipe Climbers melakukan kesalahan manipulasi tidak langsung (undirected manipulation/UM) dalam proses menyelesaikan soal yang diberikan, 2) siswa yang memiliki AQ tipe Campers melakukan kesalahan yaitu data tidak tepat (inappropriate data/IN), kesimpulan hilang (omitted conclusion/ON), manipulasi tidak langsung (undirected manipulation/UN), kesimpulan tidak tepat (above other/AO). 3) siswa yang memiliki AQ tipe Quitters melakukan kesalahan data tidak tepat (innappropriate data/IN), prosedur tidak tepat (inappropriate procedure/IP), data hilang (omitted data/OD), masalah hirarki keterampilan (skills hierarchy problem/SHP), kesimpulan hilang (omitted conclusion/OC), konflik level respon (response level conflict/RLC), manipulasi tidak langsung (undirected manipulation/UN) dan kesimpulan tidak tepat, tidak menjawab soal (above other/AO).

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa SMP Negeri 52 Palembang. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu Postest-Only Control Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.6 sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas VIII.10 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan angket. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Independent Sampel t test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data tes akhir disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Dari nilai angket disposisi matematis siswa, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap disposisi matematis siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Novick terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan disposisi matematis siswa SMPN 52 Palembang. Kata kunci : model pembelajaran Novick, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi matematis ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of Novick's learning model on the ability to think critically mathematically and the mathematical disposition of students at SMP Negeri 52 Palembang. This research method is an experimental research design that is Postest-Only Control Design. The sample in this study were students of class VII.6 as the control class and students of class VIII.10 as the experimental class. Data collection techniques using tests and questionnaires. The analysis technique used is the Independent Sample t test. Based on the results of the final test data analysis, it was concluded that there was an influence of Novick's learning model on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities. From the students 'mathematical disposition questionnaire value, it was concluded that there was an influence of Novick's learning model on students' mathematical disposition. It can be concluded that there is an influence of Novick's learning model on critical thinking abilities and mathematical disposition of Palembang 52 Junior High School students. Keywords : Novick learning model, mathematical critical thinking ability, mathematical disposition

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah struktur aljabar sebagai salah satu cara untuk evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 yang mengambil matakuliah struktur aljabar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa test yang dilakukan diakhir perkuliahan. Test dilakukan untuk melihat hasil belajar mahasiswa sebagai evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil yang didapat dari test dikoreksi dan dianalisis sehingga diperoleh nilai rata-rata mahasiswa pada matakuliah struktur aljabar yaitu 70,3 dan masuk dalam kategori tinggi. 62,8% mahasiswa atau 22 mahasiswa memperoleh nilai diatas rata-rata.

Abstract

Mathematical ability which is very important for students, especially prospective educators, is connection mathematical ability (CMA). This is because students can apply mathematics learning in daily life or with other sciences such as economics, physics, and others. Therefore, researchers wanted to improve the CMA of students with reciprocal teaching (RT) based learning strategies. The quasi-experimental method was used in this study with a non-equivalent pre-test and post-test control group design with 43 students in second semester Mathematics Education of a University in Palembang Indonesia as the subject of this study. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data analysis in this research used the final test At the end of the study, n-gain was obtained for classes with RT-based learning strategies of 0.43 while conventional classes obtained n-gain of 0.32, which means that RT-based learning strategies can improve student mathematical connection ability.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' logical thinking skills in computer programming learning on algorithmic and programming subjects. The purpose of learning computer programming is to make a program that can do a calculation or "work" in according to the programmer desire. Programming requires some skill, namely; logic, algorithms and programming. Logic in programming is one of the supporters of success in making computer programs. For this reason, it is necessary to have indicators or measuring instruments to see whether students understand the making of a program, namely by: 1) Harmony of thinking, 2) Ability to argue, and 3) Drawing conclusions. This research is quantitative descriptive. The subjects used in this study were students of the PGRI Palembang 2017/2018 academic year. The data collection technique used is a test. Data is analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: 1) In the indicator of thinking harmony, students can determine the steps taken regularly in solving problems given from the beginning of planning to obtain a conclusion, 2) On indicators of argumentation ability, students can give logical arguments according to facts or existing information related to the problem planning step and solving the problem taken, 3) On the indicators of drawing conclusions, students can draw a conclusion from an existing problem based on the steps that have been taken

Abstract

Pengunaan media pembelajaran interaktif pada pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu cara untuk menggambarkan materi matematika agar dapat membantu peserta didik dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran interaktif menggunakan PowerPoint pada materi relasi dan fungsi yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evalution). Penelitian dilakukan di UPT SMA Negeri 12 OKU Timur dan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, angket dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa media powerpoint yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan perolehan persentase kevalidan sebesar 91%, sangat praktis dengan perolehan persentase kepraktisan sebesar 80% dan memiliki efek potensial yang sangat baik terhadap hasil belajar dengan perolehan persentase sebesar 86%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komputer saat ini semakin maju, semua bidang ilmu memerlukan keahlian komputer, sehingga bagi mahasiswa pemahaman logika matematika dan pembelajaran komputer sangat penting karena keduanya saling berhubungan. Berdasarkan pengalaman pembelajaran matakuliah komputer pemrograman masih banyak mahasiswa yang belum menguasai matakuliah tersebut.  Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, dilakukan penelitian dengan menerapkan algoritma dalam pembelajaran pemrograman komputer. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan algoritma terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran pemrograman komputer. Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Palembang tahun ajar 2017/2018 yang terdiri dari dua kelas (kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol). Setelah dilakukan penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar mahasiswa setelah diterapkan algoritma dalam setiap penyelesaian pemrograman lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari keseluruhan mahasiswa; 2) Hasil belajar  mahasiswa setelah diterapkan algoritma dalam setiap penyelesaian pemrograman lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari KAM (tinggi, sedang dan rendah). Kata kunci : algoritma, pemrograman komputer  ABSTRACTThe development of information technology and computers nowadays is more advanced. All fields of science require computer expertise. Understanding mathematical logic and computer learning is very important for students because the two are interconnected. Based on the experience of lectures in a computer programming course, there are still many students who have not mastered this course. To overcome this problem, research is carried out by applying algorithms in learning computer programming. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that aims to see the effect of applying the algorithm to student learning outcomes in learning computer programming. The research sample were students of the Universitas PGRI Palembang in the academic year 2017/2018 consisting of two classes (experimental class and control class). After the research, the results are obtained that 1) Student learning outcomes after applying the algorithm in each programming completion is better than students who obtain conventional learning in terms of overall students; 2) Student learning outcomes after applying the algorithm in each completion of programming are better than students who obtain conventional learning in terms of students’ initial ability (high, medium and low).Keywords : algorithm, computer programming

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Learning Cycle berbantu simulasi diagram venn terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Palembang tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling, sebanyak 32 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 32 siswa kelas kontrol. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 10 Palembang, yang terletak di Kecamatan Kemuning Kota Palembang Sumatera Selatan. Sedangkan waktu penelitiannya antara bulan Oktober hingga bulan November tahun 2018. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan Uji-t Independent Sample. Penelitian membuktikan bahwa ada pengaruh positif model pembelajaran Learning Cycle berbantu simulasi diagram venn terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika. Kata kunci : model Learning Cycle 5E, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika  ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Learning Cycle learning model assisted by a simulation of a venn diagram on the ability to understand students' mathematical concepts. This research method uses quasi experiment. The population in this study were all VII grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Palembang in the 2018/2019 school year. Samples were taken using Simple Random Sampling technique, as many as 32 experimental class students and 32 control class students. The study was carried out at Palembang Public Middle School 10 Palembang, which is located in Kemuning District, Palembang City, South Sumatra. While the time of his research is between October and November 2018. Hypothesis testing uses the Independent Sample t-test. Research shows that there is a positive influence on the Learning Cycle learning model assisted in the simulation of a diagram of a venn on the ability to understand mathematical concepts. Keywords : Learning Cycle 5E model, the ability to understand mathematical concepts
