Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik) yang valid, praktis dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap kemampuan pemodelan matematika siswa. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan menghubungkan matematika untuk memecahkan masalah dunia nyata. Oleh karena itu, untuk membantu siswa dalam menghadapi masalah yang berhubungan dengan dunia nyata menggunakan matematika, siswa dilatih dengan diberikan soal-soal pemodelan matematika. Soal-soal tersebut dituangkan dalam bentuk LKPD menggunakan tahap pemodelan matematika dengan konteks ojek online. Penelitian ini merupakan design research tipe development study. Ciri khas dari LKPD yang telah dikembangkan peneliti adalah LKPD yang membantu siswa dalam memahami masalah, menentukan model matematika, dan menyelesaikan masalah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari secara sistematis menggunakan tahap pemodelan matematika dari teori Blum dan karakteristik PMRI. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP di Palembang yang terdiri dari 25 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan memiliki karakteristik valid berdasarkan penilaian validator, praktis terlihat dari hasil ujicoba small group, serta efek potensial terlihat dari hasil tes siswa diberikan setelah ujicoba field test menggunakan LKPD yang telah dikembangkan. Hasil tes tersebut menunjukkan bahwa 72% siswa berkategori baik terhadap kemampuan pemodelan matematika setelah menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal PISA tahun 2012 level 4, 5, dan 6. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode penelitian kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA tahun 2012 level 4, 5, dan 6. Lima orang siswa kelas IX 6 SMP N 1 Indralaya menjadi subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dalam menyelesaikan soal PISA tahun 2012 level 4, 5, dan 6 siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami soal, mengubah permasalahan nyata ke dalam bentuk matematika, dan memecahkan permasalahan matematika. Dalam menyelesaikan soal level 4, siswa juga mengalami kesulitan dalam menginterpretasikan solusi matematika dalam istilah situasi nyata. Namun demikian, terdapat siswa yang mampu menyelesaikan soal level 4, 5, dan 6 dengan benar. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.22342/jpm.11.2.4643.

Abstract

This study purposes to describe the strategies used by students in solving PISA type problems seen from the strategy of problem solving according to Polya. The research methodology is qualitative type descriptive study. Research subjects were 6 high school students in Palembang who had different levels of mathematical ability. Data was gathered using observation, interviews, and student answer sheets on the type of PISA questions given. The results showed that the dominant strategy used by students in solving PISA type problems included making pictures when they solve problem related to geometry; looking for possible answers systematically when they try to solve problem within numeric; writing information stated and the question when the problem is in the form of storytelling; and using trial and error when the problem provide answer alternatives.

Abstract

Penelitian Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Keliling, Luas Persegi dan Persegi Panjang dengan Pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan bahan ajar keliling, luas persegi dan persegi panjang yang valid dan praktis yang dikembangkan dengan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI); (2) mengetahui efek potensial bahan ajar keliling, luas persegi dan persegi panjang dari pengembangan bahan ajar berdasarkan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia(PMRI) terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research) yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu  (1) self evaluation, meliputi tahap analisis dan desain perangkat pembelajaran; (2) prototyping, meliputi tahap evaluasi dan revisi; dan (3) melakukan field test. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara, observasi, tes dan analisi dokumentasi jawaban siswa. Hasil observasi aktivitas siswa didapat  rata-rata aktivitas yaitu 11,99 dengan tingkat aktivitas masuk dalam kategori aktif. Dari hasil tes didapat rata-rata 73,74 yang masuk dalam kategori baik.   Kata kunci: Bahan ajar, keliling, luas persegi dan persegi panjang, pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik indonesia

Abstract

The aims of this study were (1) to generate PISA mathematics quetions of uncertaint context with the integrated data from LRT, Damri and Transmusi (Trialmusi). (2) is there any potential effect from PISA mathematics questions of uncertain context with the integrated data from LRT, Damri and Transmusi (Trialmusi) towards students’ mathematical literacy abilities of junior high school students. The subjects of this research are the students of junior high school number 1 Palembang. This research applied design research with development study type, with 2 steps, preliminary and formative evaluaions steps. In preliminary step, there were analazying the subject research, curriculum, PISA framework, and designing instrumental questions. In formative evaluation step, there were self evaluation, expert reviews and one to one, small group and field test. The data collection in this research apllied walk trough, documentation, observation, interview and test. This research generated PISA math questions of uncertain context. With the valid and practical integrated data from trialmusi. The validation came from the result of validation assessment, which were from context, construct, language and one to one students’ assessment. Practical came from the result of student understanding towards small group question. Then from the students’ answers in the field test steps.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) menghasilkan Website Support untuk siswa SMA Jurusan IPA pada pokok bahasan Trigonometri yang valid dan praktis. 2) mengetahui efek potensial Website Support yang dikembangkan terhadap minat siswa SMA Jurusan IPA pada pokok bahasan Trigonometri di SMAN 2 Sekayu, SMAN 4 Lahat. Penelitian dilakukan melalui 2 tahapan yaitu 1) tahap premilinery meliputi semua persiapan awal. 2) Prototyping meliputi proses pendesaianan, pengembangan dan formative evaluation. Metode pengambilan datanya berupa walk trough, Angket. Hasil dari pengembangan ini adalah berupa sebuah website support untuk siswa SMA jurusan IPA pokok bahasan trigonometri, dengan alamat www.trigonometrisma.com . website ini telah dikategorikan valid dilihat dari proses validasi yang dilakukan oleh pakar bahasa, pakar desain web, praktisi matematika, dan dikatakan praktis setelah dilakukan uji coba hingga field test yang menunjukkan hasil yang positif berdasarkan komentar dan angket dari siswa. Berdasarkan uji lapangan diketahui bahwa website ini memiliki efek potensial terhadap minat siswa dari hasil analisis angket terutama dilihat dari sisi kesediaan terdapat 70,4% yang menyatakan ingin berlama – lama di website ini atau betah dan analisis pada menu ujian. DOI:http://dx.doi.org/10.22342/jpm.11.1.3594.79-93

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce problems enrichment math for the 10th grade Senior High School to train high-level thinking is valid and practical as well as determine the effect of potential problems math enrichment for the 10th grade  that has been developed on the results of students' mathematics learning SMA Negeri 1 Palembang. The subjects were all students in 10th grade SMAN 1 Palembang. The method used is research development or Development Reserch through three stages: preliminary (preparatory stage and phase of development issues), formative evaluation or prototyping stage (stage of evaluation and revision phase) and the assessment stage. During the preparation stage (preliminary) conduct a review of the curriculum, determine the place and the subject of research, reviewing some of the literature, do designing item that will be developed. The item has the characteristics about the non routine, problematic, demanding reasoning, containing an association, or demanding communication skills do with prototyping. The next stage of formative evaluation: (1) self evaluation, (2) Expert Review, (3) one - to - one evaluation, (4) small group and (5) field test. Criteria for the success of this study is the product obtained in the form about math enrichment  for 10th grade valid and practical and has a potential effect. Prototype devices were developed about categorized valid and practical. Valid qualitatively illustrated by the results of the assessment validator, where almost all validators declared either by the content, construct and language. Valid quantitatively based analysis of items (the validity of the items) and practically drawn from the test results, which students can use the device with a good question (context recognizable, readable, does not give rise to a double interpretation, and according to the student's train of thought). Problem produced a total of 18 questions. The problems spread to the cognitive level of 3 to 5. Based on the development process is to be obtained that the prototype device developed about who has had the potential effects on the learning outcomes of high school students, it is seen from the test results about math enrichment to the learning outcomes of students with 32% category of excellent, 44% good category, 13% adequate and 3% less category.

Abstract

The aims of the research are (1) to product content quantity PISA-like problems which validity and practicality, and (2) to know the potential effect of the content quantity mathematical PISA-like problems for mathematic literacy ability. The subjects of the research are student SMP AR-RAIHAN Bandar Lampung. The research method used is development research which consist of two stages, they are preliminary and prototyping. In the preliminary stage have been done analysis for research subject, curricula, analysis for content and manufacture of instruments. Meanwhile, in prototyping stage used formative evaluation which includes : self evaluation, one-to-one,expert review, small group, and field test. The data collection techniques used in the research were walk through (expert review stage) for knowing the validity of the content, construct, and language. Analysis one-to-one stage, small group stage, and quetionaire (small group stage)  for knowing the practicality; test results, quetionaire, and interview (field test stage) for knowing potential effect. Based on the data analysis of research, it can be concluded that:  1) this research produced 4 items of content quantity PISA like mathematical problems which are valid and practice.The problems declared valid based on comments about content, construct, and language by experts and  analysis in validity criteria; otherwise practical based on the student argumentation such as the problems can be understood by student and can be implementation properly; and 2) Of  content  quantity PISA like mathematical problems has potential effect on student. Based test result and questionnaire all based mathematical ability (KDM)  be used student for answer questions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is aimeds to (1) produce the mathematics lesson plan based on social arithmetic Problem Based Learning (PBL) in class VII in viewed from the aspects of validity and practicality and to know the potential effects arising from the development of the lesson plan, (2) describe the characteristics of the lesson plan based on social arithmetic Problem Based Learning. The method of the study was the development research according to the type of formative research by Tessmer. The stages of development were  Self Evaluation, prototyping and product. The subjects were VII.1 grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Muaradua semester 2014/2015 academic year, consistive of 31 people. Data collection techniques used were documentation, walk-throughs, observation sheets, and test results. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of data analysis showed that in the mathematics lesson plan based on social arithmetic Problem Based Learning (PBL) were valid, practical, and had a potential effect. The lesson plan had a valid learning in the content, construct, and language experts based on the results of the validation stage of the expert review and the prototype  test on a small group stage, while the practical lesson plan obtained  from the revised test results of one-to-one and small group. Potential effects of the lesson plan was  known from the results of the field test and the results of the student's final test. The results of the student's final test showed 45.16% of the students were is very good category, 32.26%  were  good category, and 22.58% fair category. From the result of observation, the percentage average of students’ activity was above 81,25% included in very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) produce teaching materials based Cabri 3D material Three Dimensrions which is valid, practical, has a potential effect on the achievement of learning and explain the process of development, (2) describe the characteristics of teaching materials based Cabri 3D material Three Dimensions. In developing teaching materials, researchers through the preliminary stage and prototyping with groove formative evaluation. In the prototyping stage researchers involved class X SMA Xavierus Lubuklinggau. Data collection techniques used are documentation, walk-throughs, and the results of the test. This research-based teaching materials Cabri produce 3D material Three Dimensions valid and practical, and has a potential effect on the achievement of learning and self-sufficiency indicators of student learning. Validity of instructional materials in terms of compliance with the curriculum and the results of expert validation and test prototypes at the stage of a small group. The potential effect of this teaching material visible from the ability of students determines the position, distance and angle of the elements of geometry. The results of the evaluation study shows 3.13% category excellent value, 56.25 Good, 34.38 Enough, and 6.25 Less. From the observation unstructured during the learning process of students have the initiative to learn and utilize learning resources.
