Abstract

Covid-19 is a malignant virus that has spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. In Indonesia alone, Covid-19 has proliferated to 502 districts and cities in 34 provinces, including Harjokuncaran Village, Sumbermanjing Wetan District, Malang Regency. Two main issues, community economy problem and inadequacy of health facilities to fight Covid-19, are addressed and mitigated in this work. We offer some solutions, including the production of a disinfectant sprayer and a call to carry out sterilization activities in public places together. The realization of this community service program uses the Dignan method which includes five stages. The initial implementation of this activity, which was carried out on October 5, 2020 has gone smoothly with the help of the community, while the tools that have been fully provided to the residents are used to carry out sterilization activities on a regular basis. Six months after the activity, we evaluated the success of this endeavor. There are three indicators of success in this activity, namely a recapitulation of monthly spraying activities from October 2020 - March 2021, the addition of positive cases of Covid-19, and how much knowledge of residents about the importance of spraying disinfectant activities

Abstract

Energi listrik telah menjadi kebutuhan utama dalam kehidupan saat ini. Optimalisasi energi listrik masih belum merata sehingga menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan khususnya kondisi penerangan yang kurang. Desa Pagersari Kecamatan Ngantang Kabupaten Malang Jawa Timur menjadi salah satu daerah yang mengalami kondisi penerangan yang kurang yaitu pada Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU). Kondisi penerangan di Desa Pagersari masih sangat kurang dengan wilayah yang mayoritas masih berisi hutan dan lahan pertanian. Pemukiman warga masih sangat longgar sehingga cukup banyak area gelap (dark spot) di Desa Pagersari. Penggunaan lampu surya sebagai PJU menjadi solusi yang tepat untuk diterapkan di Indonesia yang merupakan negara tropis sehingga memiliki potensi energi surya yang besar. Penggunaan lampu surya sebagai PJU juga menjadi upaya untuk memaksimalkan penerapan Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT) yang saat ini sedang digencarkan. Melalui kegiatan ini Tim Pengabdian UM membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan pada Desa Pagersari sehingga memberikan dampak keamanan dan kesejahteraan lingkungan kepada masyarakat khususnya pada Desa Pagersari.

Abstract

One type of power converter that is widely applied in the field of renewable energy is DC-DC Converter. In variousapplication cases, voltage control features are often required. One of the challenges is how to build a closed loop controller to control the output voltage of the DC-DC Converter. In this journal, an Arduino Mega based output voltage controller will be implemented. The type of voltage controller implemented is the PI controller with the consideration that the controller has been well-known tested and mathematically proven. The PI controller is set based on closed loop block diagram calculations with the Buck Converter as the main plant. The implementation of the PI controller on the Arduino Mega is based on the expected transient response settings. PI controller was successfully implemented in this study. The experimental results show that, the controller can maintain its voltage along with changes, both source and load voltage. Thus, it can be concluded that the Arduino Mega board can work well in closed loop applications for power converter control.

Abstract

The increasing demand and widespread of renewable energy inherently compel the development of power electronics converter as an interface between consumers and the energy source/s. This paper presents a new two switched-impedance networks qZSI converter called High Ratio Two Switched-impedance quasi-Z-Source Inverter (HR2SZ-qZSI). Compared with the previous topology, this proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology can achieve higher voltage gain with lower shoot-through duty ratio, and a higher boost factor. This paper also discusses comparative analysis between the previous topology and the proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology. Furthermore, the simulation and experimental data are presented to prove the theoretical analysis of the proposed HR2SZ-qZSI topology. Despite the additional components needed, it accentuates that this proposed converter retains all features of qZSI: common ground point between the dc source and converter and smooth input current operation. Furthermore, almost all the devices rating including capacitor and diode voltage, and inductor current ripple are lower than the preceding relevant two switched-impedance qZSI family. Accordingly, this proposed HR2SZ-qZSI clearly a good power conditioning alternative for renewable generation system.

Abstract

Penurunan kualitas SF6 pada switchgear dapat terjadi seiring berjalannya waktu akibat adanya pelepasan sebagian yang mengakibatkan degradasi kinerja switchgear. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati dan menganalisis lima parameter penting yang berpotensi mengurangi kemurnian SF6, yang disebabkan oleh pelepasan sebagian dan penurunan fungsi isolasi. Kami melakukan penilaian langsung di lokasi untuk mengevaluasi kemurnian SF6 pada switchgear 150kV yang berlokasi di Simpang, Indonesia. Evaluasi ini menggunakan standar IEEE sebagai acuan untuk menilai tingkat pengotor dan memastikan akurasi hasil. Dari hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa nilai rata-rata kemurnian SF6 pada switchgear yang diteliti adalah kurang dari 97%, dengan rata-rata titik embun tercatat pada -21,252°C, kadar air rata-rata mencapai 1684,7 ppmv, dan kadar gas SO2 rata-rata sebesar 3,4069 ppmv. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas SF6 pada GIS di Simpang telah mengalami penurunan di bawah tingkat yang diperbolehkan, yang berpotensi menyebabkan penurunan signifikan dalam kinerja sistem secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Transmission line impedance in DC microgrids can cause voltage dips and uneven current distribution, negatively impacting droop control and voltage stability. To address this, this study proposes an optimization approach using heuristic techniques to determine the optimal droop parameters. The optimizcv ation considers reference voltage constraints and virtual impedance at various load conditions, particularly resistive. The optimization problem is addressed using two techniques: queen honey bee migration (QHBM) and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Simulation results show that QHBM reaches an error of 0.8737 at the fourth iteration. The QHBM and PSO algorithms successfully optimized the performance of the DC microgrid under diverse loads, with QHBM converging in 5 iterations with an error of about 0.8737, and PSO in 40 iterations drawn error is 0.9 while keeping the current deviation less than 1.5 A and voltage error less than 0.5 V. The deviation of current control and virtual impedance values are verified through comprehensive simulations in MATLAB/Simulink.

Abstract

Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) production so far has its own advantages and disadvantages. Some methods that can be used in producing CNTs are chemical vapor deposition (CVD), laser ablation, and arc discharge. The three methods have their own requirements, this causes different environmental impacts on each method. Studies into the environmental impact of the CNTs production process found that during thermal pretreatment of the reactant gas, more than 45 by-products were formed, including methane, volatile organic compounds, and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Calculating the environmental impact of CNTs production method often has challenges in implementation, because each production process has different systems and needs. One way to overcome this problem is by using the heuristic method for forecasting environmental impact, which can be done with the Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis algorithm. The method can calculate uncertainty in each scenario, by normalizing the given load value. In this study, the CVD method has the best solution and objective value results compared to laser ablation and arc discharge. The best solution and objective values that show the value of scenario quality and environmental impact in each method, in CVD the solution obtained in the 34th generation has an epsilon value of 0.00251. The generation shows the performance of the scenario, while the epsilon value shows the value of the environmental impact, the smaller the generation, the better the scenario, while the smaller the epsilon value, the smaller the environmental impact.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasa Negeri Sumbersuko meyakini bahwa pada hakikatnya setiap anak memiliki beragam kecerdasan (multiple intelligences) yang menunggu untuk diungkap, digali, dilatih dan dikembangkan. Sekolah Dasa Negeri Sumbersuko mengupayakan sebaik-baiknya dan menyediakan beragam kegiatan pembelajaran. Tujuannya adalah untuk mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk yang ada pada anak didik. Maka dari itu kami membantu dengan mengadakan pengabdian kepada pendidikan khusunya di SDN Sumbersuko dengan menggunakan robot edu untuk proses pembelajaran. robot yang dibuat masih dalam bentuk analog belum bisa diprogram. Kegiatan pelatihan robot edu ini dapat memberikan kesempatan belajar yang lebih dalam mengenai pemrograman dasar. Ilmu pemrograman menjadi keterampilan yang penting bagi anak-anak yang tumbuh di jaman teknologi ini. Diharapkan program Pengabdian pada Masyarakat yang diimplementasikan dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan robot di Sekolah Dasa Negeri Sumbersuko.
