Abstract

The current Covid-19 pandemic has had many effects on human life globally, including the implementation of education. This study aimed to obtain the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on learning outcomes in higher education. The research method used is a cross-sectional study. The data were taken from the test results at the end of the lecture, observations, and interviews. The research was conducted at the University of Muhammadiyah Lampung, IPDN Jatinangor Campus, and the Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business, with 120 students participating. The data analysis technique used the percentage technique and cross-tabulation. The study results concluded that student learning outcomes decreased in the 2020-2021 academic year compared to the 2019-2020 academic year. The decline in learning outcomes includes knowledge, skills, and psychology. This finding has implications for the understanding of education personnel regarding online teaching and learning design during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The research objective was to get the use of teachers’ self-monitoring strategies in conducting performance evaluations, so that the quality of learning in class becomes high quality. The research method used descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used observation and interviews. The data analysis technique consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research was conducted at the Ahmad Dahlan Institute of Technology and Business Jakarta. The results showed that the teacher always evaluated the performance of the learning and teaching process on a regular basis, namely at the end of each semester. This is done to evaluate the overall learning outcomes. Meanwhile, learning evaluation is also carried out after each learning process by students’ input. The implication of the research results is the development of a teacher’s performance evaluation system at the University, either carried out by individual or university leaders

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of participative leadership and work commitment on the performance of State Vocational School teachers in Prabumulih City. From the results of researchers' observations and interviews with several fellow teachers and principals at State Vocational Schools in Prabumulih City, some still have a low work commitment, and teachers are committed to exemplary work. Apart from that, several research results show the leadership role of the head schools in improving teacher performance, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. This quantitative research will analyze the influence of participative leadership and work commitment on the performance of State Vocational School teachers throughout Prabumulih City. A questionnaire instrument with a Likert scale was used. A sample of 153 people was taken using the Slovin method from a population of 248 teachers at State Vocational Schools in Prabumulih City. The descriptive statistical analysis results show that each variable's norm range values are relatively good. Inferential inferential statistics tests hypotheses using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The conclusion is that participative leadership and work commitment positively influence teacher performance in State Vocational Schools throughout Prabumulih City. Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze: (1) The effect of academic supervision on teacher performance; (2) The effect of principal resilience on teacher performance; and (3) The combined effect of academic supervision and principal resilience on teacher performance. This study is a quantitative research using the partial correlation method. The research was conducted in 13 public elementary schools in the Seberang Ulu 1 District of Palembang, with 163 teacher respondents. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, and documentation. Validity and reliability tests used internal validity and reliability measures. Prerequisite tests for analysis included normality tests, linearity tests, and multicollinearity tests, and the data were analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression techniques. The results of the study showed that: (1) there is a positive and significant effect of academic supervision on teacher performance with a correlation value of 1.296 and a relationship percentage of 0.46%; (2) there is a positive and significant effect of principal resilience on teacher performance with a correlation value of 1.473 and a relationship percentage of 14.186%; and (3) there is a positive and significant combined effect of academic supervision and principal resilience on teacher performance with a correlation value of 3.050 and a relationship percentage of 63.902%.
