Abstract

This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan with the aim of knowing the personality competence of educators. This research is a field research and the research approach used is a descriptive qualitative research approach. So this research procedure, will produce descriptive data, in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. This qualitative descriptive study aims to detect a state or phenomenon as it is. The results of this study will reveal the competence of educators in MAN 1 Medan which is supported by Government Regulation No. 19 of 2005 concerning National Education Standards, which states that teacher personality competencies are personality abilities that are: (1) steady; (2) stable; (3) adults; (4) wise and prudent; (5) authoritative; (6) have a noble character; (7) become role models for students and society; (8) evaluating own performance; and (9) develop themselves continuously, including: 1) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have a Steady and Stable personality, 2) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have adult and Arif personalities, 3) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have personality with noble character, 4) Educators at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Medan have a dignified personality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the purpose of Islamic education in the book Al-Uṣûl aṡ-Ṡalâṡah by Shaîkh Muhammad At-Tamîmiy. The research method uses qualitative methods that are descriptive with the type of library research. The main source of this research is a scholarly book entitled Al-Uṣûl aṡ-Ṡalâṡah wa Adillatuhâ. Based on the results of research shows that the main purpose of Islamic education formulated by Shaîkh Muhammad At-Tamîmiy in his book is inseparable from three basic things, namely that Islamic education aims to make students know Allah Almighty (ma'rifatullâh), know the Prophet (ma'rifatu nabiyyihî), and know Islam and its postulates (ma'rifatu dîn al-islâm bi al-adillah). These three goals are the foundation for all the goals of Islamic education built upon it. Through the knowledge of Allah Almighty, learners will know the consequences of the creed lâ ilâha illallâh and the purpose of its creation, as well as know Allah's rights over His servant and the servant's duty to His Rabb. Through the introduction of His Prophet, learners will know the consequences of the creed of Muhammad rasulullâh. Through the introduction of Islam and its postulates, students will know the nature of their religious teachings which are built on scientific divine values.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze best practice planning for Islamic Religious Education, analyze the implementation of best practice Islamic Religious Education, analyze barriers to implementing best practice Islamic Religious Education, and analyze efforts to overcome barriers to implementing best practice Islamic Religious Education at State Vocational Schools in Labuhanbatu Regency.This research method is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research approach. This research was carried out to build knowledge through understanding and discovery based on a methodology that investigates a phenomenon and problem. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, documentation studies. Data management consists of data reduction, data display/data presentation, data analysis, drawing conclusions for research results.The results of research on best practice planning for Islamic Religious Education at Rantau Utara State Vocational School, Labuhanbatu Regency include curriculum development, development of innovative and interactive teaching methods, training and development of teacher competency, and facilities and infrastructure.Implementation of best practice Islamic Religious Education at Rantau Utara State Vocational School, Labuhanbatu Regency, namely implementing learning with curriculum innovation, IT-based learning innovation, practical media-based learning innovation, and extracurricular supporting activities. In particular, extracurricular activities are further developed through several activities such as tahsin, tahfiz, Islamic Holiday Commemoration activities, and Islamic art.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan tujuan, Materi, strategi/metode, serta evaluasi keberhasilan kurikulum Pesantren Salafiyah dalam proses kaderisasi ulama pada tiga pondok pesantren di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif multi situs. Untuk mendapatkan data yang benar proses pengumpulan data dengan wawancara secara mendalam berupa serangkaian pertanyaan, observasi berupa pengamatan, serta pengumpulan dokumen dengan teknik analisi berupa reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Temuan penelitian menginformasikan bahwa pesantren salafiyah di Sumatera Utara memiliki tujuan yang terfokus pada kaderisasi ulama dengan penekanan pada pemahaman Islam dan pembentukan karakter; Materi pembelajaran didasarkan pada ajaran Islam otentik dan mengacu pada sumber-sumber klasik (kitab kuning); Strategi/metode pembelajaran beragam, namun tetap berorientasi pada pembentukan ulama berkualitas; Evaluasi pembelajaran menakankan pada kemampuan membaca, memahami kitab kuning. Dengan demikian penelitian ini berhasil mengungkapkan secara mendalam tujuan, materi, strategi/metode, dan evaluasi keberhasilan kurikulum pesantren salafiyah. Temuan penelitian memberikan kontribusi baru dengan menyoroti fokus pesantren pada kaderisasi ulama yang tidak hanya terbatas pada aspek keilmuan, tetapi juga pada pembentukan karakter sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Penekanan pada pemahaman Islam otentik dan penerapan metode pembelajaran yang beragam namun tetap berkualitas, serta evaluasi yang menitikberatkan pada kemampuan membaca dan memahami kitab kuning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh ekstrakurikuler Hizbul Wathan dan budaya sekolah dalam pembentukan karakter Islami siswa. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 76 siswa, menekankan pentingnya doa, kesantunan, dan pakaian Islami dalam kehidupan sekolah. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan budaya sekolah berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter, dengan nilai konstanta α = 0.393 untuk Hizbul Wathan dan α = 0.224 untuk budaya sekolah. Uji F menghasilkan nilai F-hitung 84.460, lebih tinggi dari Ftabel 3.124. Nilai t-hitung untuk Hizbul Wathan adalah 2.728 dan untuk budaya sekolah adalah 2.606, keduanya melebihi 1.666. Adjusted R square sebesar 0.766 (76.6%) menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan budaya sekolah secara signifikan menjelaskan pembentukan karakter, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) free drawing activities have a significant influence on children's creativity, (2) emotional intelligence has a significant influence on children's creativity, and (3) the interaction between free drawing activities and emotional intelligence has an influence on children's creativity. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 factorial design. The study population was all children of PAUD Martabe Kasih, Silimabahal Village, Siborongborong District aged 5-6 years, consisting of 2 classes totaling 48 children. The sample of this study was for the control group, namely the children of group B1 which amounted to 24 children, while the experimental group, namely the children of group B2, which amounted to 24 children. The results of this study are (1) there is a positive and significant effect of free drawing activities on children's creativity, this is evident from Fcount 133.87 > Ftable 3.972. In this case, the average results of the creativity test of children who are taught with free drawing activities are higher than those of drawing activities with teacher instructions, so it can be concluded that free drawing activities are more effectively applied in learning to increase children's creativity. (2) there is a positive and significant effect of emotional intelligence on children's creativity, this is evident from Fcount 6.03 > Ftable 3.972. In this case, the average results of creativity tests for children with high emotional intelligence as a whole, both those taught with free drawing activities and drawing with teacher instructions, are higher than the average results of creativity tests for children with low emotional intelligence, and (3) there is an interaction of free drawing activities and emotional intelligence that have an influence on children's creativity, this is evident from Fcount 7.09 > Ftable 3.972. In this case, the average creativity test results of children with high emotional intelligence are better taught using free drawing activities compared to using drawing activities with teacher instructions, while children with low emotional intelligence are better taught using drawing activities with teacher instructions compared to children with low emotional intelligence. free drawing activity.
