Abstract

Setelah melakukan survey kepada masyarakat, ditemukan masih banyak anak-anak yang belum bisa membaca Al-Qur’an sesuai dengan tajwidmya. Sementara itu, usia anak-anak merupakan saat yang tepat untuk belajar. Banyaknya anak-anak yang masih kurang lancar dan masih belum sesuainya bacaan dengan segala hukum bacaan Al-Qur’an maka pendampingan belajar Al-Qur’an dengan penerapan metode iqra’ di TPA Al-Muhajirin Sidomulyo Kelurahan Tumbang Tahai Kota Palangka Raya yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN Tematik IAIN Palangka Raya sebagai salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat, bertujuan agar anak-anak lebih mencintai Al-Qur’an, menambah minat dan rajin dalam belajar Al-Qur’an, mengetahui hukum bacaan yang benar sesuai dengan kaidah hukum bacaan, makhrajul huruf, tajwid, dan lain sebagainya. Adapun metode yang dipakai dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu metode ABCD (Asset Based Community-driven Development). Hasil pengabdian tersebut menunjukan bahwa anak-anak yang dulunya tidak mengetahui kaidah hukum bacaan, makhrajul huruf dan tajwid dalam membaca Al-Qur’an, setelah dilaksanakannya pengabdian mahasiswa KKN Tematik di masyarakat dalam pendampingan ini membuat anak-anak lebih mengetahui dan dapat mempraktikkan kaidah-kaidah hukum bacaan Al-Qur’an yang benar.

Abstract

Al Qur’an dan Hadist merupakan pedoman umat Islam yang menggunakan Bahasa Arab sebagai pengantarnya. Sekolah yang berada di bawah naungan Departemen Kementrian Agama pada awal kemerdekaan menjadikan Bahasa Arab sebagai mata pelajaran wajib. Pesantren dan madrasah merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang banyak berkonstribusi dalam perkembangan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Indonesia. Madrasah diniyah di Sidomulyo kelurahan Tumbang Tahai, kecamatan Bukit Batu Kota Palangka Raya adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan non-formal yang mengadakan pengajaran Bahasa Arab. Namun, keterbatasan pengajar dan rendahnya motivasi anak untuk belajar menjadi salah satu kendala berkembangnya Bahasa Arab di madrasah ini. Kegiatan pengabdian yang diadakan oleh para Mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) bertujuan untuk menghadirkan solusi atas kendala pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di daerah tersebut. Dengan menggunakan metode service learning (SL) kegiatan ini berfokus pada penguatan penguasaan Bahasa Arab bagi anak, adapun program pengajaran ini berlangsung selama tiga minggu dengan materi berupa mufradhat, insya’, imla’, kitabah, kalam dan shorof. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat dilihat pada anak mulai termotivasi belajar Bahasa Arab, mampu menghapal kosakata, dapat menulis dan bercerita menggunakan Bahasa Arab dengan cukup baik

Abstract

Budget absorption is a government instrument through fiscal policies in moving the economic wheels. The government expenditure sector aims at supporting community welfare development. Budget absorption per quarter at the IAIN Palangka Raya is in slow category. The research aims to identify the effect of human resources and financial administrative on budget absorption at the IAIN Palangka Raya. The research is a quantitative research with multivariate correlation approach. Population of the research includes stakeholders who handle the budget at the IAIN Palangka Raya. The research sample consists of 27 respondents. Data collection carries out through questionnaires and documents. Data resulted from the questionnaires are analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The research results indicate that human resources (HR) and financial administration have no effect on budget absorption with bootstrapping value of 0.597 and 0.480, respectively. The results suggest that the level of human resources and financial administration has no effect on budget absorption at the IAIN Palangka Raya

Abstract

This service was motivated by the low ability to memorize hadiths for group B children at RA Al Hijrah. This can be seen in terms of ongoing learning, teachers never apply the habit of reading short hadiths every day so that children are not yet able to memorize the hadith reading, while learning by applying the habit of reading hadiths is very good for young children. The aim of this research is to practice memorizing hadiths using the movement method at RA Al-Hijrah Hampalit Village. This research method uses a participant active learning approach in order to maximize their abilities through a movement method. The subjects in this study were children from group B RA Al-Hijrah, which consisted of 9 children. The results of the training to memorize hadiths using the group B movement method at Ra Al-Hijrah showed an increase in children's activeness and motivation in memorizing daily hadiths with movement.

Abstract

This research aims to increase student learning independence in PAI students by implementing Lumio By SMART media. This research uses PTK (classroom action research) with the stages of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The research subjects were 30 students of class in learning PAI (Islamic Religious Education). The instruments used in the research were observation sheets, questionnaires. Based on research results, it proves that Lumio by SMART media is able to increase student learning independence. This can be seen from the increase in student learning independence in PAI learning using Lumio by SMART media, namely in cycle I 66.4% with details: Very Independent = 8.1%, Independent = 10%, Less independent = 13.1%, Not Independent=15.2%, very not independent=20%. From cycle I there was a change to cycle II to 90% with details: Very Independent = 70%, Independent = 15%, Less independent = 5%, Not Independent = 0%, very not independent = 0%, with the percentage value of student learning independence increased to 72.60%, meaning there has been a significant increase.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Digital Storytellingstrategy in improving students’ speaking skills. This study uses a quantitativeresearch method of experimental type or true experimental design using a pretestposttestcontrol group design. Participants in the study were class VIII participantsat an Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMP IT) in Palangka Raya City. . Fromthis study found the following results: 1. participants in the control class showed anincrease in speaking ability seen from the average value of the pretest and posttestresults, namely the pretest average value of 77.02 increased to 92.64 in the averagevalue. average posttest results. So it can be concluded that participants’ speakingskills can improve even if they do not use digital story telling (DST) strategies.2. Participants from the experimental class showed an increase in speaking abilityseen from the average value of the pretest and posttest results, namely the averagepretest value of 76.02, an increase in the average value of the posttest results to94.41. So it can be concluded that the digital story telling (DST) strategy can improveparticipants’ speaking skills. 3. The comparison of the posttest average value of theexperimental class and the control class using the Mann Whitbey test because thedata is not normally distributed, a significance value of 0.084 is obtained, which isgreater than 0.05, so there is no significant difference in learning outcomes betweenthe experimental class participants who learn to use a digital story telling (DST)strategy with control class participants who do not use this strategy. However,because the posttest average value of the experimental class was higher, the digitalstory telling (DST) strategy was more effective for the participants in this study.

Abstract

Discourses regarding the application of the inquiry learning model have been widely carried out and indicate that the application of this model has the potential to increase student independence. However, there is still little research directed at the application of social media-based inquiry learning models in learning Arabic. Therefore, this study aims to describe students' perceptions regarding the application of this learning model to learning Arabic through WhatsApp groups in madrasas. Descriptive quantitative research with a survey type was used in this case, as well as data analysis using a formula to get the percentage of student perceptions. The results of this study reported that as many as 49.6% of students chose structured inquiry strategy statements and as many as 50.4% of students chose free inquiry strategies. This study recommends the application of inquiry learning models through other social media in Arabic subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of learning independence in Maharah Kalam during a pandemic. In this study, researchers used a quantitative approach to survey research. A total of 89 respondents participated in this study. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire instrument with descriptive statistical data analysis techniques using averages. Based on the results of the research, it is known that: 1) the learning motivation of Maharah Kalam students during the pandemic was included in the high category with an average of 4.21; 2) Student learning behavior in Maharah Kalam learning during the pandemic was in the high category with an average of 4.08; 3) Students' metacognition in Maharah Kalam learning during the pandemic was in the high category with an average of 4.10. Overall, Maharah Kalam's level of Self Regulated Learning  (SRL) during the pandemic was in the high category with an average of 4.14 Keyword: Self Regulated Learning, Maharah Kalam, Pandemic.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengetahui tingkat Self Regulated Learning  (SRL)maharah kalam di masa pandemi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survei. Sebanyak 89 responden berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket dengan teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif dengan menggunakan rata-rata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: 1) Motivasi belajar maharah kalam bagi mahasiswa di masa pandemi berkategori tinggi dengan rata-rata sebesar 4.21; 2)  Perilaku belajar mahasiswa dalam belajar maharah kalam di masa pandemi berkategori tinggi dengan rata-rata sebesar 4.08; 3) Metakognisi mahasiswa dalam belajar maharah kalam di masa pandemi berkategori tinggi dengan rata-rata sebesar 4.10. Secara keseluruhan  tingkat Self Regulated Learning  (SRL) maharah kalam di masa pandemi berkategori tinggi dengan rata-rata sebesar 4.14. Kata Kunci: Self Regulated Learning, Maharah Kalam, Pandemi.

Abstract

Spiritual coping strategies are an important approach in helping students reduce academic stress in emerging adulthood. This study aims to identify the factors contributing to academic stress among PAI students at IAIN Palangka Raya, understand how to deal with it through spiritual coping strategies, and understand the factors that influence spiritual coping. This study used a qualitative approach of phenomenology type, with the subjects being 7 PAI students from the batches of 2020, 2021, and 2022. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, which are in-depth interviews to explore participants' experiences, views and perceptions. Data validation was conducted using member checking techniques, then analyzed through three stages: data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed that the main factors affecting academic stress of PAI students at IAIN Palangka Raya include anxiety about one's ability, parents' expectations, competition with friends, task load, and tight class schedule. The spiritual coping strategies used are self-directing, deferring, and collaborative. Meanwhile, the success of spiritual coping strategies was influenced by education, life experience, and maturity of thinking. This study shows that integrating spiritual aspects is essential in helping students deal with academic stress in an Islamic education environment, and can serve as a basis for designing spiritual-based mentoring or counseling programs in religious tertiary institutions. The practical implication of these findings is that Islamic educational institutions need to develop curricula, guidance services, and mentoring programs that explicitly accommodate spiritual approaches in dealing with academic pressure, in order to create a more supportive and holistic learning environment for students.
