Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of compensation, discipline and work experience on employee performance. The number of samples in this study 44 employees at PT. Andre Teknik Mandiri Surabaya. Data analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study conclude that the results of partial compensation test have an effect on and significant to performance, discipline also have an effect and significant to performance and work experience have an effect on and signifikan to performance.

Abstract

Background : Based on the results of research in the coastal area of ​​Gresik Regency in Ujungpangkah District and Panceng District, it is known that the category of Developing Village in Ujung Pangkah District is Pangkah Kulon Village, Banyu Urip Village, Bolo Village, Pangkah Wetan Village, Gosari Village, Cangaan Village, Karangrejo Village, Tanjang cloud Village, Glatik Village, Ketapang Lor Village and Ngemboh Village. Meanwhile, Sekapuk Village is the only independent village in Ujungpangkah District. Meanwhile, Kebonagung Village is the only Disadvantaged Village in Ujungpangkah District. The average IPD variable whose condition is lagging and not yet independent occurs in almost all villages in Ujung Pangkah District. Based on this, the researcher intends to follow up by measuring community satisfaction with the availability of infrastructure in Ujung Pangkah District. Purpose : The measurement of community satisfaction is intended to find out how far the actual level of community satisfaction with the availability of infrastructure is still minimal. Design/Methodology/Approach : Research on the Community Satisfaction Index for Infrastructure Services in Ujung Pangkah District by taking the research area is all villages in Ujung Pangkah District except Sekapuk Village using descriptive quantitative methods. Result and Discussion: The results of the study indicate that the Road Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index obtained a value of 79.03 with service quality category B (Good). The land transportation infrastructure service satisfaction index obtained a value of 68.06 with the quality of service included in category C (less good). The Health Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index obtained a value of 77.92 with service quality including category B (Good). The Education Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index obtained a value of 76.39 with service quality including category C (less good). The Clean Water Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index obtained a value of 82.22 with service quality including category B (Good). The Housing Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index obtained a value of 74.31 with service quality including category C. (less good). Conclusion: the Road Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index category B. The land transportation infrastructure service satisfaction index category C. The Health Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index category B. The Education Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index category C (less good). The Clean Water Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index category B (Good). The Housing Infrastructure Service Satisfaction Index category C. Research Limitation: the research area is all villages in Ujung Pangkah District except Sekapuk Village Research Implication: These results imply that it is necessary for the sub-district and related agencies to repair infrastructure whose value is still category C or less good, and infrastructure that has a value of category B, can be improved again to a better service or Category A Acknowledgement: This research was carried out in collaboration with UjungPangkah District and was funded by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik.

Abstract

Problems of poverty alleviation is not an easy problem. Poverty alleviation programs should be targeted, the exact activities, the right program, the right location and the right budget. This programs will be undertaken in order to reduce poverty more in the form of charity, physical development and others that it is less well targeted. a lot of program-the program as activities which basically only be duplicated or copy paste from the previous year's activities with the intention that the budget, physical also often undertaken without first reviewing whether the local area is very requires the existence of the physical building while there are things another even more a priority for local residents to improve their welfare. And one of the frameworks that can help us understand poverty as a multidimensional problem and its measurement is with the Millennium Development Goals or also known as the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The results showed that the achievement of the MDGs progress in East Java of 7 (seven) existing Goal progress of his "fast" exception Target IC on Goal I. To Target IC progress in the achievement of East Java Province "slow". Districts that experienced the severity of poverty for Goal I is Sampang and Pamekasan. , Districts that experienced the severity of poverty for Goal III is Bangkalan and Pamekasan. Districts that experienced the severity of poverty for Goal IV is Probolinggo and Bangkalan. Districts that experienced the severity of poverty for Goal V is Bangkalan and Sumenep. Districts that experienced the severity of poverty for the Goal and VII are Sampang regency. Districts that have the highest poverty severity for each Goal MDG namely Bangkalan on Goal III, IV and V

Abstract

Background – Mental workload is the difference between the workload demands of a task and capacity. Mental workload is a human evaluation or assessment of the limits of attentional load while carrying out tasks optimally, which is influenced by the workload demands of a task and the worker's capacity to handle the task, especially for students who carry out work activities while studying. Therefore, it is necessary to examine how much mental workload is actually borne by student workers so that the negative impacts it causes can be minimized. Aim – To measure the mental workload of student workers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik using the NASA-TLX method Design / methodology / approach – The research approach used is Quantitative Descriptive. Quantitative data was obtained from the results of questionnaire responses from student workers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik regarding the level of mental workload using the NASA-TLX method. Findings – High mental workload can have a negative impact on a person's mental health, especially for students who work while studying. Mental workload is defined as the difference between task demands and an individual's capacity to handle the task, focusing more on the mental aspect than the physical. Students who work while studying often experience fatigue, lack of time to rest and socialize, and experience sleep disorders and stress which can reduce their academic and work performance. Therefore, it is important to measure and analyze the level of mental workload experienced by student workers in order to reduce its negative impact. The method used to measure mental workload is NASA-TLX (Task Load Index). Conclusion – Student workers at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Gresik experience a high mental workload, with the time demand indicator (Temporal Demand/TD) having the highest weight and the level of effort (Effort/EF) getting the highest score. The time requirement (TD) indicator most dominantly influences their mental workload, while the level of frustration (FR) has the lowest influence. Overall, their average mental workload score was in the high category, namely 77.64. Research implication – This research is aimed at students who are studying while working, with the aim of measuring the level of mental load that objects experience. The load in question is a high mental workload, with indicators of time requirements (Temporal Demand/TD), level of effort (Effort/EF) and indicators of time requirements (TD), as well as levels of frustration (Frustration/FR). Limitations – The limitations of this research only include the mental workload variable on the research object (student workers)
