Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the strategies applied by teachers in early childhood music learning during and after the pandemic. The research method used in this study is the Literature Review method with narrative analysis techniques systematic review. The data comes from the results of existing research and is obtained from google search engines, google scholar, semantic scholar, researchgate and sage journals and books on learning strategies. Place and Time the Research was held in South Jakarta, Jakarta from September 2022 to January 2023. Data Collection is carried out by taking 15 articles which are processed by simplifying, systematically modernizing data in order to answer problems in research, which is then analyzed by providing logical arguments. The Object of Research is the teacher's strategy. Data Analysis is carried out by making notes and giving color to each category and then summarizing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are the strategies used by teachers during the pandemic in teaching early childhood music, namely inquiry learning strategies, quantum learning strategies, and integrated art learning strategies through singing and moving activities or dancing to music and post-pandemic, namely expository learning strategies, cooperative learning strategies, integrated art learning strategies, and active learning strategies through singing and playing music activities.

Abstract

This study explores the role of negative emotions—such as anxiety, frustration, and self-doubt—on music students' readiness to adopt artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and their engagement in music learning in Indonesia. Against the backdrop of rapid AI integration in education, the research investigates how these emotions mediate the relationship between AI readiness and student engagement. Using a quantitative approach with structural equation modeling (SEM), data were collected from 500 music students across five Indonesian higher education institutions. The findings reveal that negative emotions significantly influence both AI readiness and engagement levels, highlighting the need for emotional awareness in pedagogical practices. The study contributes to the development of strategies that support students' emotional well-being while fostering their adaptability to AI-driven learning tools, ensuring a holistic and inclusive future for music education.

Abstract

This study explores the creation process of "Weightless," a relaxation music piece by Marconi Union, with a focus on its compositional elements and how frequencies are manipulated. The aim is to deepen the understanding of both educators and undergraduate students regarding the use of Digital Audio Workstations in composing music, thereby promoting digital literacy within 21st-century music education. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, utilizing an exploratory approach and content analysis.Through this analysis, it becomes clear that "Weightless" effectively incorporates slow tempos, minimalistic textures, and gradual changes in dynamics to create a relaxing atmosphere. The frequency analysis highlights the importance of low frequencies (ranging from 20 to 200 Hz), which contribute to a sense of depth and tranquility. In contrast, mid and high frequencies are carefully balanced to ensure they do not overwhelm the listener. Additionally, the loudness analysis reveals a smooth dynamic range, with an average level of -13.9 LUFS and no sudden peaks, which guarantees a pleasant listening experience across various playback devices. Overall, these findings emphasize the critical role of precise frequency manipulation and loudness control in producing effective relaxation music, providing valuable insights for both music composition and education.
