Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to examine the effect of stretch goals on destructive leadership with burnout as the mediating variable and then the effect of destructive leadership on counterproductive work behavior of employees with psychological capital as a moderating variable.  Background Problems: The phenomenon of irregularities that occur in SOE in Indonesia is interesting to study. Deviations committed by SOE leaders in Indonesia include fraud, gratification, and data manipulation. The increase in the number of irregularities has a negative effect on organizational performance because it causes several counterproductive work behaviors in employees.  Novelty: Empirical research on destructive leadership is still rare because previous research has focused only on the conceptual side. Research Methods: The design of this study used a survey with a questionnaire completed by 724 respondents who were leaders and employees. The hypothesis testing used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).  Finding/Results: The findings of this study show a positive influence of stretch goals on burnout and a positive influence of stretch goals on destructive leadership, but burnout has no mediating role in the effect of stretch goals on destructive leadership. There is no effect of perceived destructive leadership on employees’ counterproductive work behavior, but psychological capital has a moderating role in the effect of perceived destructive leadership on employees’ counterproductive work behavior. Conclusion: The practical implication of this study is that a stretch goal that is not balanced with resources can cause individuals to behave destructively even though they are at a managerial level.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian: Value stream mapping menunjukkan waste di setiap tahapan proses pengelolaan obat yaitu waste of defect, waste of waiting, waste of inventory, waste of transportation, waste of motion, waste of overprocessing, waste of overproduction, dan waste of human potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this investigation is to explore a research on the relationships between quality factors and customer satisfaction for sustainable community development. The unique contributionUnits (SBU) managers from the Indonesia's oil and gas industry and the use of Importance-performance Ratings and Factor Analysis to determine the link between quality factors (external quality and internal quality and customer satisfaction for sustainable community development. The empirical analysis found that the link between Quality factors and customer satisfaction is linear in the keep-Up Good Work Quadrant. The survey indicates that is much room for improvement in the quality factors and customer satisfaction for the sustainable community development as shown in the difference between importance and performance scores. These scores indicate mismatched importance and performance of quality factors. Conversely, low difference values indicate that managers set appropriate quality factors with respect to customer satisfaction and deploys sustainable community development accordingly. Ideally, the difference measure should equal zero.

Abstract

Innovation is closely associated with quality and Knowledge Management (KM). However, there still needs to be more consensus on the nature of the relationship. Therefore, it is an opportunity to contribute further to the literature on innovation management studies. The research mapped research developments in quality subjects, knowledge, and innovation subjects from Scopus Database in an integrative and comprehensive manner using Microsoft Excel, Mendeley, and VOSviewer to conduct a bibliometric analysis. With PRISMA Flow Diagram in carrying out a systematic search, the research managed to capture 140 research articles on related topics published between 2002 and 2022. Through a systematic search and bibliometric analysis, the research identified, described, and characterized the origins, evolution, and intellectual structures of scientific knowledge associated with quality, knowledge, and innovation in management. For the results, the research underlines a lack of systematic efforts to develop a sound theoretical framework of the subject matters. The literature still lacks evidence concerning reference models and critical factors which can contribute to effective and efficient integration of quality, knowledge, and innovation, especially in the management field. At the end of the research, a framework is proposed to broaden the perspective of quality management practices that are not limited to Total Quality Management (TQM). The research result drives future studies to determine reciprocal relationships between TQM and KM and how this affinity can impact innovation.

Abstract

This research was perfomed to provide a comprehensive Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on the mutually beneficial link between Lean and Knowledge Management (LKM). The primary focus was to highlight the crucial role of LKM as an enabler in empowering perishable food supply chains (PFSC) to effectively embrace traceability technology, ensuring the integrity of halal supply chains. The research was carried out using the SLR method and adhered to the procedures of the Preferred Reporting for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA). In total, 65 articles from the Scopus database, published in various journals over 22 years were chosen, mapped, and evaluated. Furthermore, there were several featured forms of mutual collaboration between Lean and Knowledge Management (KM). The implementation of LKM in halal supply chain traceability for perishable food was still absent from the literature. Efficient (lean) KM processes for business actors turned knowledge into added value for the PFSC. The vital role of LKM as an enabler for PFSC in adopting traceability technology, which is characterized as fast-changing technology and highly knowledge-centric, is by eliminating wasteful knowledge so could advance responsiveness, efficiency, and flexibility. Considering the important role of LKM as an enabler of PFSC to address complex challenges in traceability technology adoption, collaborative interdisciplinary research is needed. Academic publications exploring the incorporation  of lean and KM in the context of PFSC were relatively scarce. This SLR represented one of the pioneering efforts to investigate the amalgamation and its potential to overcome obstacles and inhibitors in the adoption of traceability technology.
