Abstract

Background: The rapid development of health services is a challenge for hospitals in facing the increasingly open and accessible competition. Good human resource management is needed to increase the productivity of an organization. One of the strategies to increase productivity and improve human resource management is to use an integrated and comprehensive employee performance measurement. This research measured employee performance using the Human Resources Scorecard (HRSC) approach based on several conditions. HRSC is a Balanced Scorecard with a Human Resources (HR) approach where Key Performance Indicators (KPI) are based on 4 (four) perspectives: Financial Perspective, Customer Perspective, Internal Business Process Perspective, and Learning and Growth Perspective. Method: This study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey research design. Data collection methods included questionnaires, document review, and Consensus Decision Making Group (CDMG). The research population was 256 employees of the ‘Aisyiyah Hospital Klaten.  Samples were determined using non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method of 100 respondents. Results: The results showed that overall employee performance was good, with a score of 4.03. Based on Key Performance Indicators for each perspective, the internal business process perspective of employee performance was very good, with a score of 1.24. The financial perspective of employee performance was good with a score of 0.8, while the customer perspective of employee performance was good, with a score of 1.19. Finally, the learning and growth perspective of employee performance was good, with a score of 0.8. Conclusion: With the HRSC approach, the overall performance results of the ‘Aisyiyah Klaten Hospital employees were good.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to investigate intention to be entrepreneur among university students in Yogyakarta. Based on modification of TPB (theory of planned behavior) and TAM (technology acceptance model), this research specifically examined whether entrepreneur’s personality is an important antecedent to explain attitude, risk perception and subjective norm of entrepreneur based on information technology (IT). This research tested whether attitude, risk perception and subjective norm of entrepreneur based on IT are important predictors to explain students’ intention to become entrepreneur based on IT. This research is a replication model proposed by Tjahjono and Palupi (2014). The samples in this research were 300 students from four large universities in Yogyakarta with purposive technique and were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM). The results of this research showed that attitude, risk perception, and subjective norm are consequences of entrepreneur’s personality and at the same time as antecedents to explain students’ intentions to be entrepreneur based on IT.Keywords: TPB, TAM and students intention to be entrepreneur.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi intensi mahasiswa di Yogyakarta berwirausaha. Berbasis pada modifikasi TPB (theory of planned behavior) dan TAM (technology acceptance model), penelitian ini secara spesifik menguji apakah kepribadian berwirausaha merupakan anteseden penting dalam menjelaskan sikap, persepsi resiko dan norma subjektif berwirausaha yang berbasis TI. Selanjutnya apakah sikap, persepsi resiko dan norma subjektif berwirausaha berbasis TI adalah prediktor penting dalam menjelaskan intensi mahasiswa berwirausaha yang berbasis TI. Penelitian ini merupakan replikasi model yang diajukan Tjahjono dan Palupi (2014). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 300 mahasiswa 4 perguruan tinggi besar di Yogyakarta dengan teknik penyampelan secara purposive. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap, persepsi resiko dan norma subjektif berwirausaha berbasis TI adalah konsekuensi kepribadian berwirausaha sekaligus anteseden intensi berwirausaha berbasis TI.Kata kunci: TPB, TAM dan intensi mahasiswa berwirausaha.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh tunjangan kinerja dari aspek keadilan pada kepuasan dan kinerja PNS di BPS DIY. Secara spesifik penelitian ini menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh keadilan distributif dan keadilan prosedural pada kepuasan dari tunjangan kinerja yang diterima dan kinerja PNS di BPS DIY. Penelitian tersebut menggunakan metode sensus dengan mengambil seluruh populasi PNS di BPS DIY sebagai responden. Analisis data menggunakan SEM dengan program AMOS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keadilan distributif dan keadilan prosedural tunjangan kinerja berpengaruh positif pada kepuasan dan sebagian di antaranya berpengaruh positif pada kinerja PNS di BPS DIY. Hasil juga menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan tunjangan kinerja memediasi pengaruh keadilan distributif pada kinerja PNS di BPS DIY.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out behavior institutions in using information and communication technology among Micro Small Medium Enterprise (MSME) in Yogyakarta. Based on unified theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model. This study examine whether performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence are the importance antecedent to explain intentions in using ICT (Information and communication technology) among MSME. This study also examine the effect of propensity to act as the moderator in model. There are 164 MSME owners in Yogyakarta as a sample of this study which used purposive technique  and analyzed by SEM. The result of this study showed that the performance expectancy and effort expectancy are supported to explain intention use ICT in MSME. Therefor, social influence does not has significant to predict intentios use ICT. The other findings showed that propensity to act has moderation effect on the relation between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence and behavior intentions.

Abstract

Social Capital is a broad concept and often defined ambiguously. A number of literatures indicate that social capital can be seen at various levels of analysis, either at macro, organizational, group or individual level. This study sees that social capital is a concept that becomes an individual property. The purpose of this study was to operationalize social capital into dimensions and indicators at the level of individual analysis. This study starts from a literature study followed by a focus group discussion involving four graduate master of science in Organizational Psychology. The next stage is to test the instruments to the field by involving employees. The results show that social capital includes 3 dimensions (structural, relational and cognitive) and 12 core indicators.

Abstract

An employee whose has a good performance can help the organization in achieving its intended purpose organizations lead to improvements in public services. Performance of employees, especially in the Civil Registry Office has become problems being discussed by the public (citizen of Tanah Bumbu district) because it concerns on the public service. Based on the phenomenon that occurs low performance caused by the effect of compensation justice such as Distributive Compensation Justice, Procedural Compensation Justice and job satisfaction.The object of this study is Civil Registry Office in Tanah Bumbu and the subjects are all of the employees whose work in the Civil Registry Office in Tanah Bumbu. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis approach. The data were collected through observation, questionnaire and interview, then the data was analyze using descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by using smart software Partial Least Squares (PLS).The results of the study showed that Distributive Compensation Justice and Procedural Compensation Justice had a significant influence on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction, Distributive Compensation Justice and Procedural Compensation Justice also had a significant influence on employees’ performance. According to the research results above, it is suggested to the Civil Registry Office of  Tanah Bumbu, in order to improve the performance of the employees especially on the variable of  Distributive Compensation Justice and Job satisfaction by implementing wage distribution and promotion system which is fair and transparent to the employees so they are satisfied and it can create better performance of the employees.

Abstract

Background: RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul is a privately-owned public hospital that has been burgeoning. Leadership held at PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Bantul today is a transformational leadership. While, for motivating employee, the management of the hospital strives to provide adequate and fair compensation based on employee status, class rank and tenure. Hence, the compensation system will encourage every employee to give excellent service for each patient.Methodology: The research is a quantitative analysis using cross-sectional survey method. Data is obtained by disseminating questionnaire to the population, the whole permanent employee up to 104 respondents.Result: The statistical result indicates that management’s policy transformational leadership and distributive justice and procedural compensation rate affect to the satisfaction of work of the nurses at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul.Summary: Regarding to the result of the research, management’s policy to appreciate its employee through a good and fair compensation can significantly improve the satisfaction of work of the nurses at RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul. Abstract

Today, information systems in business even more important than a few years ago. Information technology (IT) innovations and global business environment makes the role of IT in information systems more dominant. That role of IT can enhance human resources role compete globally. Higher education institutions as places for develop human resources is required to optimize in formation systems performance. This research identified two antecedents of information systems performance. There are user participation and task uncertainty. Besides that, this research considere size of organization as moderating variable. We separate size become two proxies. University as represent high size complexity and non university as represent as low size complexity. The purpose of this research is to analyze user participation and task uncertainty as antecedents of information systems performance and consider size of organization, higher education institutions. Samples are several higher education institutions in Jogjakarta province. In general the result partially supported the hypothesis that user participation and task uncertainty are predictor of information systems performance and size of organization is considered as moderating variable partially

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis peran moderasi ekspektasi supervisor, norma kolega dan keterikatan kerja terhadap penggunaan smartphone dan gangguan work-home. Penelitian ini mencoba melihat fenomena baru yaitu penerapan aktivitas work from home akibat Covid-19 dari sisi gangguan. Data dikumpulkan dari 179 responden yang bekerja di PT Taspen (Persero) Cabang Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dan Jawa Barat. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Simple Regression Analysis dan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) dengan bantuan IBM SPSS 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) penggunaan smartphone berpengaruh positif terhadap gangguan work-home (2) ekspektasi supervisor memoderasi efek penggunaan smartphone pada gangguan work-home (3) norma rekan kerja tidak memoderasi efek penggunaan smartphone pada gangguan work-home (4) keterlibatan kerja memoderasi pengaruh penggunaan smartphone pada gangguan work-home. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan smartphone sehari-hari dalam aktivitas work from home dapat menimbulkan gangguan, demikian pula ekspektasi dari supervisor dan keterikatan kerja dapat mempengaruhi pengaruh antara keduanya.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the effect of leader-member exchange, work-life balance, and job satisfaction on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). The respondents were nursing staff at a hospital in Indonesia. The sample was 169 respondents, taken using a purposive sampling technique. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method was applied as the data analysis techniques with the application AMOS 22.0. Based on the results, the research finds that first, leader-member exchange and work-life balance have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and OCB. Second, job satisfaction affects OCB positively and significantly. Third, job satisfaction mediates the influence of leader-member exchange on OCB significantly. Fourth, job satisfaction also mediates the effect of work-life balance on OCB significantly. In conclusion, fostering OCB in hospitals is very important to produce better health service performance. The research shows that by increasing leader-member exchange, worklife balance, and job satisfaction, it can improve OCB. Overall, the research presents a significant contribution to the development of research in the field of human resource management and organizational behavior in the health sector in Indonesia.
