Abstract

The Langke village community is known as a community where the majority of its residents work as sugar palm farmers. Palm trees have become the main source of livelihood in this village, because almost every family there depends on their income from processed palm products, such as palm sugar and sap. Motivational training and entrepreneurial managerial skills for sugar palm farmers in Langke village is a strategic step to increase the capacity and economic independence of the local community. This training aims to foster an entrepreneurial spirit in sugar palm farmers so that they not only focus on production, but also have the skills to manage their business professionally. Through the motivation provided, farmers are encouraged to see the potential of the sugar palm business as an opportunity to improve their standard of living and play a role in driving the village economy. This activity was carried out on Saturday 4 October 2024 at the Langke village office hall, Gentuma Raya District, North Gorontalo Regency. The method of this service activity is in the form of training and lectures. Service activities in the form of Motivational Training and Entrepreneurial Managerial Skills for Sugar Palm Farmers in Langke Village, North Gorontalo Regency, have had a positive impact in increasing farmers' understanding and entrepreneurial skills. Through this training, sugar palm farmers are equipped with better managerial skills, which are very useful in managing their farming business and increasing the added value of their products. Apart from that, motivational training helps increase farmers' enthusiasm and self-confidence to continue to develop and innovate, so that it is hoped that they can open wider market access and create better economic opportunities for village communities.

Abstract

Abstract : Design and Construction of a Kaidipang Vocational School Student Attendance System Using WEB-Based RFID and ESP 8266. This research aims to build a web-based RFID and ESP8266 attendance system. This system uses RFID cards to identify students and store attendance data digitally. The methods used in this research are literature study, observation and experiment. The research results show that the RFID and web-based ESP8266 attendance system can read and process data quickly and accurately, and student attendance is recorded correctly. This system can also operate consistently and does not experience significant disruption. The implementation of an RFID-based and web-based ESP8266 attendance system at SMK Negeri 1 Kaidipang is expected to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of recording student attendance data at SMK 1 Kaidipang, which currently still uses conventional attendance, resulting in time inefficiencies, proneness to loss of absence data, and the use of a lot of paper. and attendance printing costs.

Abstract

Sugar palm is a plant that is difficult to cultivate, so farmers generally only expect it to grow naturally. This has resulted in the population of sugar palm trees decreasing due to the lack of activities to expand the population of sugar palm plants. The purpose of this community service activity is to develop farmers' interest in cultivating sugar palm, then develop the location of the sugar palm nursery center in Langke Village. The methods used in this activity include observation activities, then socialization and training, then conducting field practice. The results of the activity, namely the creation of a sugar palm seedling development center carried out in Langke Village, are an important step in developing farmers' awareness of the existence of sugar palm trees. Furthermore, from this activity, the positive value obtained is that farmers' knowledge increases and becomes a pioneer for further development by farmers independently. The shortcomings faced in this activity are that the availability of materials such as polybags and manure still have to be taken from Gorontalo City, which is about 80 km from Langke Village. The next development is the practical activity of making planting holes and determining the location for planting sugar palm.

Abstract

ft.ung.ac.id adalah sistem informasi yang menjadi media penyebaran informasi dari fakultas teknik UNG. Berdasarkan pengumpulan data awal yang telah dilakukan, belum ada penelitian secara khusus yang terkait dengan evaluasi dan analisis dari segi penerimaan pengguna, manfaat dan kondisi nyata pada sistem informasi ft.ung.ac.id. Sebuah sistem informasi dikatakan layak dan sukses jika memenuhi faktor kemudahan pengguna dan kebutuhan pengguna. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengukur tingkat penerimaan pengguna ft.ung.ac.id melalui pendekatan metode Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dengan 3 variabel antara lain persepsi kemudahan (Perceived Ease Of Use), pengaruh persepsi kegunaaan (Prceived Usefulness), dan kondisi nyata penggunaan sistem informasi (Actual Usage) dengan total sampel 340 dari total populasi 2.291. Setelah dilakukan pengujian tingkat penerimaan sistem informasi melalui metode TAM, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi ft.ung.ac.id dinyatakan layak digunakan. Pengujian hipotesis memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan dari standar yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 1,967.ft.ung.ac.id is an information system which serves as a media for dissemination of information from thr UNG faculty of engineering. Based on the preliminary data collection that has been conducted, no studies have been conducted specifically to evaluate and analyze user acceptance, benefits, and actual condition of the ft.ung.ac.id system. Information system is considered feasible and successful when it meets the user convenience factor and user needs. The purpose of this study was the measure the level of user acceptance of ft.ung.ac.id trought the tecnology Acceptance moder (TAM) method approach whit tree variables, including Perceived Ease Of Use, the effect of Perceived Usefulness, and the Actual Usage of information system with a total sample of 340 from a total population of 2,291. Furtermoew, after testing the level of acceptance of information system trough the TAM method, it was concluded that the ft.ung.ac.id information system is feasible to use. Hypothesis testing has a significant effect on the predetemined standard of 1,967.

Abstract

Kegiatan akademis yang dilakukan oleh lembaga pendidikan dapat memberikan dampak pada konsumsi energi listrik di kampus Universitas Negeri Gorontalo khususnya pada Fakultas Teknik. Kenyataannya banyak ruangan yang menyalakan lampu siang hari, penggunaan AC serta peralatan listrik lainnya tanpa adanya kegiatan dalam ruangan tersebut. Berdasarkan data dari bagian rumah tangga Universitas Negeri Gorontalo penggunaan energi listrik pada Fakultas Teknik rata-rata setiap bulan sebesar 655.140 VA dari daya terpasang sebesar 2.180.000 VA dan ini berdampak pada pembayaran rekening listrik rata-rata setiap bulannya sebesar Rp. 148.667.264,75. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsumsi energi listrik pada sistem pencahayaan, tata udara serta peralatan listrik lainnya yang digunakan pada bangunan gedung Fakultas Teknik. Metode yang digunakan adalah audit energi serta observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Intensitas Konsumsi Energi (IKE) bangunan gedung Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Gorontalo untuk lantai menggunakan AC sebesar 14,33 kWh/m^2/bulan dikriteriakan cukup efisien dan untuk lantai tidak   menggunakan  AC sebesar 5,2 kWh/m²/bulan dikriteriakan efisien.Academic activities carried out by universities, especially the Faculty of Engineering, can have an impact on the use of electrical energy consumption on the Gorontalo State University campus. In fact, many rooms turn on daytime lights, use AC and other electrical equipment without any activity in the room. Based on data from the household section of Gorontalo State University, the average monthly use of electrical energy at the Faculty of Engineering is 655,140 VA from an installed power of 2,180,000 VA and this has an impact on the average monthly electricity bill payment of Rp. 148,667,264.75. This research aims to analyze electrical energy consumption in lighting systems, air conditioning and other electrical equipment used in the Faculty of Engineering buildings. The methods used are energy audits and field observations. The results of the research show that the Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) of the building of the Faculty of Engineering, Gorontalo State University for floors using AC is 14.33 kWh/m^2/month which is classified as quite efficient and for floors not using AC it is rated as 5.2 kWh/m²/month. efficient.

Abstract

The information system is a tool to facilitate the potential and resource management in a village. However, due to the current development of the information system in Isimu Utara Village, there are some unavailable and inaccessible features in the system, one of which is the monitoring feature for land and building tax payments. Thus, the researcher is concerned with developing new features in the village information system as one of the alternatives to overcome the problem. This research aimed to develop a land and building tax monitoring module that could be integrated into existing systems. This research implemented the Extreme Programming (XP) method because it had fast and iterative development stages for each part and was aligned with the main goals and targets of development. The result showed that the monitoring module was integrated successfully and became one of the main menus in the village information system. The result of the Unit Test and Acceptance Test also showed that the program has run well.

Abstract

Penggunaan energi listrik telah menjadi hal yang mutlak, seiring dengan berkembangnya perangkat elektronik. Namun dalam penggunaan energi listrik sering menimbulkan masalah seperti terjadi pemutusan  arus listrik pada seluruh beban oleh pemutus sirkuit akibat beban lebih. Permasalahan tersebut sering terjadi pada penggunaan energi listrik skala rumah tinggal yang memiliki kapasitas daya maksimal 450 watt. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merealisasikan hardware dan software prototipe pengatur beban pintar, serta dilakukan pengujian untuk mengetahui keakuratan alat dalam pengukuran dan unjuk kerja alat dalam memproteksi beban. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen yang didalamnya terdapat beberapa langkah diantaranya adalah perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, serta pengujian alat. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang di lakukan, hasil perhitungan persentase eror antara pengukuran alat rancangan dengan alat ukur berstandarisasi untuk beban resistif yaitu total daya beban sebesar 2,10%, tegangan kerja beban sebesar 0,44%, total arus beban sebesar 2,36%, dan total cos phi beban sebesar 0%. Sedangkan untuk beban induktif yaitu total daya beban sebesar 0,38%, tegangan kerja beban sebesar 0%, total arus beban sebesar 0%, dan total cos phi beban sebesar 1,03%. Adapun alat rancangan bekerja sesuai fungsinya dengan memutuskan beban yang bukan prioritas jika terjadi beban lebih dalam pemakaian energi listrik.The use of electrical energy has become an absolute necessity, along with the development of electronic devices. However, the use of electrical energy often causes problems such as a disconnection of electric current in the entire load by a circuit breaker due to overload. These problems often occur in the use of residential-scale electrical energy, which has a maximum power capacity of 450 watts. This study aimed to realize the prototype hardware and software for smart load control, as well as testing to determine the accuracy of the tool in measuring and the performance of the tool in protecting the load. It applied an experimental method in which there were several steps, including the design of hardware and software, as well as tool testing. Based on the results of the tests carried out, the results of the calculation of the percentage error between the measurement of the design tool and standardized measuring instruments for resistive loads, i.e., the total load power of 2.10%, working voltage load of 0.44%, total load current of 2.36%, and the total cos phi load of 0%. As for the inductive load, the total load power was 0.38%, the load working voltage was 0%, the total load current was 0%, and the total cos phi load was 1.03%. The design tool worked according to its function by deciding which load was not a priority if there was an overload in the use of electrical energy.

Abstract

Provinsi Gorontalo memiliki banyak pilihan destinasi wisata misalnya wisata budaya, wisata alam, gelaran kebudayaan maupun destinasi wisata lainnya.  Dari sekian banyaknya pilihan event gelaran kebudayaan maupun destinasi wisata, salah satu pertanyaan mendasar dari calon wisatawan adalah kapan waktu terbaik untuk mengunjungi Gorontalo, jika mereka ingin mengunjungi lokasi wisata tertentu yang lebih spesifik?, misalnya wisata bahari dan destinasi wisata alam lainnya di Provinsi Gorontalo. Upaya menyebarluaskan informasi waktu terbaik untuk berkunjung ke Gorontalo kepada calon wisatawan kiranya menjadi sangat penting dilakukan untuk mendukung pemerintah provinsi Gorontalo dalam upaya mengembangkan sektor pariwisata daerah.  Upaya yang telah dilakukan antara lain adalah membuat prototipe sistem informasi destinasi wisata budaya berbasis kalender musim masyarakat Gorontalo.  Hasil studi kelayakan atas prototipe dimaksud merekomendasikan adanya pengembangan dan peningkatan perluasan sajian informasi untuk potensi wisata lainnya yang ada di Gorontalo.  Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk melakukan kajian rekayasa perangkat lunak komputer terhadap hasil penelitian sebelumnya berupa kalender musim Gorontalo, merancang algoritma dan mengembangkan modul web yang dapat merekomendasikan waktu dan lokasi tujuan wisata bahari di Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode Research and Development (RD) yang digunakan pada penelitian ini telah menghasilkan modul web yang memuat rekomendasi waktu dan lokasi kunjungan wisata bahari di daerah Gorontalo dan telah diintegrasikan pada sistem informasi destinasi wisata yang telah dibuat sebelumnya. Modul web yang telah dibuat selanjutnya diuji pada 200 responden sesuai ISO/IEC 2510 menunjukkan bahwa aspek Portability telah terpenuhi dan modul ini kompatibel dengan berbagai browser dan perangkat pengakses yang berbeda, uji aspek performance Efficiency menghasilkan durasi page load kurang dari 10 detik dan dikategorikan baik,  serta menghasilkan nilai x=1 yang termasuk kategori baik pada pengujian aspek Functional Suitability.

Abstract

Quality measurement consists of three stages: data collection, data testing, and data processing. In general, each of these stages requires a significant amount of time. The process starts with the data collection stage, which may involve questionnaires. Distributing, completing, and collecting questionnaires will take a considerable amount of time. Similarly, the second stage, data testing, is carried out to validate whether the data obtained in the previous stage is accurate or not. The third stage will only take place once the data from the first two stages is deemed valid. Data processing itself also requires a significant amount of time because the data must be entered individually. Based on this issue, a system is needed that can integrate all three stages to expedite the overall process. The objective of this research is to design a web-based service quality measurement application that can integrate all three stages simultaneously. The data processing stage in this research uses the Service Quality method, also known as the SERVQUAL method. The application design is carried out using the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) development method with the prototype model. Application testing is conducted using three stages: alpha testing, beta testing, and usability testing. Alpha testing refers to internal testing of the application. Beta testing, using the black-box method, resulted in a score of 83.33%. Usability testing, using the System Usability Scale (SUS), obtained a score of 81, which falls within the Acceptability Range. In the Adjective Range category, the application was rated as excellent, and on the grade scale, it was rated as B.Pengukuran kualitas memiliki 3 tahapan, yakni pengumpulan data, pengujian data, dan pengolahan data. Secara umum, setiap tahapan ini dilalui dengan durasi waktu yang lama. Berawal dari tahapan pengumpulan data misalnya dengan kuesioner. Penyebaran, pengisian maupun pengumpulan kuesioner akan memerlukan waktu yang tidak singkat. Demikian pula, menuju ke tapanan yang kedua yaitu pengujian data, dimana tahapan ini dilakukan untuk menguji apakah data yang diperoleh pada tahapan sebelumnya valid atau tidak.  Tahapan ketiga akan dilakukan jika data yang diperoleh pada dua tahapan sebelumnya sudah valid. Proses pengolahan data pun akan memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama karena datanya akan dimasukan satu per satu. Berdasarkan permasalahan ini maka diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat mengintegrasikan ketiga tahapan tersebut untuk mempercepat keseluruhan proses. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sebuah aplikasi pengukuran kualitas layanan berbasis web yang dapat mengintegrasikan ketiga tahapan ini sekaligus. Tahapan pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Service Quality atau lebih dikenal dengan metode SERVQUAL. Perancangan aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan metode pengembangan Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model prototype. Pengujian aplikasi dilakukan menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu alpha testing, beta testing, dan tes usabilitas. Alpha testing yaitu pengujian aplikasi secara internal. Beta testing menggunakan metode blackbox mendapatkan hasil sebesar 83,33%. Pengujian tes usabilitas menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) dan mendapatkan skor 81, yang masuk pada tingkat Acceptability Range. Pada kategori Adjective Range, aplikasi dinilai berada pada tingkatan excellent, dan pada grade scale berada pada tingkatan B.

Abstract

One of the arts in creating a beautiful natural environment in an aquarium is aquascaping. It requires good planning in the placement of water, rocks, plants and animals in the aquarium. In addition, it is necessary to control the acidity level (pH) of the water so that it is in a stable condition needed by the flora and fauna in the aquarium. In this research, automatic control is implemented using an Arduino Uno R3 for the pH sensor. This Arduino Uno R3 is used to control pH, temperature, and lighting. The ideal temperature in aquascaping is kept at 220C - 250 C by controlling it through a DC fan, and the pH of the water is controlled through a water pump. With this automatic control, aquarium owners can save on monitoring costs and time compared to manual methods.Salah satu seni dalam menciptakan lingkungan alam yang indah di dalam akuarium adalah aquascaping. Diperlukan perencanaan yang baik dalam penempatan air, bebatuan, tanaman dan hewan di dalam akuarium. Selain itu, perlu adanya pengontrolan tingkat keasaman (pH) air agar berada dalam kondisi stabil yang dibutuhkan oleh flora dan fauna di dalam akuarium. Pada penelitian ini, kontrol otomatis diimplementasikan dengan menggunakan Arduino Uno R3 untuk sensor pH. Arduino Uno R3 ini digunakan untuk mengontrol pH, suhu, dan pencahayaan. Suhu ideal pada aquascaping dijaga pada suhu 220C - 250 C dengan mengontrolnya melalui kipas DC, dan pH air dikontrol melalui pompa air. Dengan kontrol otomatis ini, pemilik akuarium dapat menghemat biaya dan waktu pemantauan dibandingkan dengan metode manual.
