Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems in the field of education as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, that learning could no longer be done face-to-face in the classroom. Thus, educational interaction certainly does not occur optimally. The purpose of this study was to describe the learning model during the Covid 19 pandemic at Wewo Elementary School, its implementation, and the challenges. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive type. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique followed the interactive model of Milles and Hubberman, which consisted of the process of collection, reduction, presentation, conclusion and verification of data. The results showed that: (1) the learning model used by the teachers at Wewo Elementary School was the offline learning model. The use of this model was chosen because of the lack of infrastructure to carry out online learning. In addition, many students could not use cell phones for learning because their parents cound not afford it. Another reason was that the readiness of teachers to carry out offline learning is also minimal. (2) The process of implementing offline learning is carried out by giving assignments and hard copies. The teacher provides the hard copies and assignments to do at home, accompanied by parents. Students were required to take and collect the materials and assignments at school according to a predetermined schedule by following the health protocol. (3) The difficulty while applying the offline learning model was that the learning process couldnot run optimally. In fact, learning occurs in educational interactions between teachers and students, between students and friends, and students and various learning resources in and outside the school environment. However, as long as students study at home, the interactive process did not occur. Students only worked on assignments given by the teacher in the form of the photocopies. The number of materials and assignments without communication with the teacher makes students feel bored and bored. This has an impact on decreasing student learning outcomes.

Abstract

West Satar Punda Village has horticultural farming potential that needs to be developed because it has fertile land, however most farmers are only familiar with monoculture farming system. They are not familiar with the polyculture farming system, thus farmers' income depends only on one type of crop during harvest season. The advantages of polyculture farming system are it can be planted two or more types of plants on the same land and the frequency of harvest is more than once. The purpose of this program is to introduce intercropping pattern (polyculture) by optimizing land by growing more than one type of plants (tomatoes and red chili) and increasing the welfare of farmers with the nearly simultanuous harvest time of the two types of plants. The method used were extension techniques and demonstration method in a plot of sample land. The results of the program show positive responses and increased knowledge about intercropping pattern of the members of farmers group, and also increases farmer's income.

Abstract

The quality of elementary schools is determined, one of which is student learning outcomes, both academically, affectively, and psychomotor. The facts reveal that the low learning outcomes of Civics in elementary schools is the most common problem. The causes include the use of learning methods that are not in accordance with the characteristics of the material, students, and learning objectives. This study aims to describe the use of the CTL method in improving Civics learning outcomes for elementary school students. The writing method used a literature review by tracing library sources. The results of the study show that CTL can improve student Civics learning outcomes. This can be seen from various facts and research findings that support the effectiveness of the CTL method. Its uses include where students are invited to find out for themselves the material that occurs in close relationship with actual experience.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menggali salah satu tradisi dan kearifan lokal masyarakat Manggarai yaitu roko molas poco. Tradisi ini terbilang unik karena hanya terjadi pada saat pendirian rumah adat (mbaru gendang). Tradisi ini coba dihubungkan oleh peneliti dengan konteks penghargaan terhadap martabat kaum perempuan. Tentu, substansinya adalah penamaan (roko molas poco) tidak serta merta dilakukan. Pasti memiliki pendasaran dengan landasan filosofis dan kultural yang sangat kuat. pembongkaran pemahaman ini tidak terlepas dari bagaimana mempersepsikan kaum perempuan Manggarai di tengah kebudayaan kontemporer. Bahwa perempuan merupakan sosok yang mesti dihargai. Kaum perempuan adalah subyek yang mesti mendapat perlakukan setara harkat dan martabatnya. Oleh karena itu, memaknai kearifan lokal merupakan sebuah imperasi bagi pemahaman baru terhadap kaum perempuan. Salah satunya melalui tradisi roko molas poco dalam kebudayaan Manggarai

Abstract

This research is entitled Semiotic Analysis of Ideology Conflict (Media Analysis of Sociology in General Soedirman's Film). This research is based on the consideration that all things including films are not immune to the process and power relations. The presence of a film has a purpose and therefore has a certain meaning. This research focuses on the analysis of interarideological conflicts in the film General Soedirman. It is said, in the film, conflicts often occur in several segments. All conflicts are certainly based on certain roots and causes. Likewise, every conflict always has a certain dynamic. Whatever the reason, the dynamics of the conflict whether socially or symbolically in the film has a certain meaning. Therefore, the dynamics of the conflict can be analyzed and worth checking. The study uses Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory. The analysis of this study uses a qualitative interpretive concept. The method used as an analytical machine uses the Roland Barthes semiotics method. Roland Barthes' semiotics focuses the analysis of signs by looking at denotations, connotations and myths. The results showed a number of ideological conflicts that occurred in the film. Some of them are conflicts between narrow ideology of nationalism (chauvinism) vs. fascism, between nationalism vs. colonialism, between nationalism vs. communism, and communism vs. colonialism conflict. Understanding of ideological conflicts is urgently analyzed so that people are not manipulated by various ideas and ideas that emerge from certain regimes can be immediately overcome.

Abstract

Abstrak: Laju pertumbuhan penduduk yang semakin tinggi akan mendorong permintaan akan sumberdaya energi juga semakin meningkat. Di lain pihak ketersediaan sumber energi fosil semakin berkurang. Karena itu dibutuhkan sumber energi alternatif untuk dapat memenuhi kebutuhan manusia. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Wela Lada dalam menghasilkan energi alternatif dengan memanfaatkan limbah biomassa tempurung kelapa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi perencanaan dan persiapan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan evaluasi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan 60% masyarakat Desa Wela Lada yang mengikuti kegiatan ini sebesar 100% yang mana sebelumnya peserta sama sekali tidak mengetahui manfaat lain ataupun potensi ekonomi dari tempurung kelapa sekarang setelah mengikuti mengikuti kegiatan ini mendapatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan baru tentang pengolahan tempurung kelapa menjadi bio briket.Abstract: The higher population growth rate encourage the increasing demand for energy resources. On the other hand, the availability of fossil energy sources is decreasing. Therefore, alternative energy sources are needed to meet human needs. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the Wela Lada Village community in producing alternative energy by utilizing coconut shell biomass waste. The method of implementing the activities includes planning and preparation, implementation, observation and evaluation. The results of the implementation of the activity showed an increase in knowledge and skills of 60% of the Wela Lada Village community who took part in this activity by 100% where previously participants did not know at all other benefits or the economic potential of coconut shells now after participating in this activity gain new knowledge and skills about processing of coconut shells into bio briquettes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan modul ajar siklus air berbasis PBL dalam melatihkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V SD pada semester genap tahun akademik 2022/2023. Penelitian pengembangan (RD) ini menggunakan prosedur pengembangan model ADDIE. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Siswa/I Kelas V SDK Santa Agnes Ruteng IV yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrument berupa angket, lembar observasi, dan instrument berbentuk tes pilihan ganda. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran dengan rata-rata skor validasi 3,54, rata-rata skor kepraktisan 93,42% dan tingkat efektifitas (N-Gain) 0,62 dengan kategori gain sedang. Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran PBL juga meningkat dengan rata skor keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan model PBL sebesar 82,84% (terlaksana sangat baik). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar siklus air berbasis PBL valid, praktis dan efektif dalam melatihkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa SD.

Abstract

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in the current educational context, and it must be introduced by teachers to their students. Teachers in this 4.0 era of Education need to adapt to this rapidly. The use of ICT in teaching helps explain challenging and abstract materials in a more tangible and contextual way. Additionally, it aims to overcome communication barriers between educators and learners. The objective of this research is to explore a deep understanding of the importance of ICT in the context of elementary school education. The research method used is a literature review based on the analysis and synthesis of information sources available in the literature or references that are relevant to this research topic. The research results explain that use of ICT as a learning tool in elementary schools has a positive impact on students' learning achievements and can stimulate their interest in learning. The use of ICT also enables more flexible and effective learning in improving the quality of education. However, there are challenges, including the lack of infrastructure and teacher readiness. Nevertheless, the use of ICT at the elementary school level holds great potential for enhancing the quality of education. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve access to the use of ICT in education.
