Abstract

Travel in Marau sub-district is a company that operates in the transportation services sector, which is located precisely in Suka Karya village, Marau sub-district, Ketapang city, West Kalimantan. This company provides travel, car rental and goods delivery services. However, in conducting business, this company has not implemented or involved IS/IT in running its existing business. So, when carrying out company operations, it is recommended to carry out information system strategic planning, this aims to assist in the preparation of information systems so that later they can gain profits and are in line with the company's business objectives. This writing method uses qualitative, with data collection carried out by observation, interviews, observation and research using the Ward and Peppard method and analyzed using SWOT, Value Chain, Five Porter's, Mc Farlan's Strategic Grid. From the results of the research that has been carried out, there are 5 recommendations in the proposed application portfolio, namely. Recording and bookkeeping using Word and Excel which was previously done manually, using a website-based travel service information system to make things easier for consumers, carrying out promotions via social media to reach more consumers, using an Asset Management Information System and cashiers in carrying out management and operations.

Abstract

CV. Suien Insan Persada is a wood processing company whose production uses logs as the starting material. The wood is then processed into wood sheets for furniture manufacturing companies and shipped overseas. This wood industry is located in Kab. Boyolali, Central Java. CV. Suien Insan Persada has not used adequate information technology. Data processing carried out by the production department produces manual reports that are given and managed directly by the administration section. This method makes filing more difficult to manage because manual reports in the form of writing on paper are easily damaged, and there is a risk of data being lost. The problems that occur in CV. Suien Insan Persada needs a solution to make CV easier. Suien Insan Persada in making a report to resolve the above problems. The solution to overcome the problem is utilizing Information Technology (IT) with a good strategic plan by creating an information system architecture in the form of TOGAF ADM. TOGAF ADM was chosen because it has a detailed and open-source framework that can be used by CV. Suien Insan Persada to build an Enterprise Architecture (EA) that suits the needs. Besides that, TOGAF has the advantage of being flexible and open source. The results showed that TOGAF ADM could produce IS/IT strategic plan documents expected to solve the problems faced by CV. Abstract

Information systems have become an integral component in supporting the operations of student organizations at Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW). These systems are designed to streamline data management, enhance communication, and improve operational efficiency, ultimately supporting academic and extracurricular activities. Despite their potential, the implementation of information systems in student organizations faces challenges, including technical limitations and resistance to change. This qualitative study employed a case study approach to explore the role, supporting factors, and challenges of information systems in student organizations at UKSW. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three student leaders, document analysis, and observation. A thematic analysis method was used to categorize and interpret the data, providing a comprehensive understanding of the system's impact and areas for improvement. The findings reveal that information systems significantly improve the efficiency of data management, event coordination, and communication among student organizations. Centralized data systems facilitate task distribution and enhance transparency and accountability. However, challenges such as technical limitations among students, system bugs, and inconsistent updates hinder optimal utilization. Strong institutional support, active student involvement, and continuous training were identified as critical enablers of successful implementation. The study highlights the need for improvements in user training, technical support, and system interactivity to overcome challenges and maximize the benefits of information systems. Recommendations include increasing system user-friendliness, ensuring regular updates, and fostering collaboration between IT teams and student organizations. These steps are crucial for enhancing system adoption, engagement, and overall effectiveness.

Abstract

Pengelolaan dan pengarsipan SK di lingkungan FKIP membutuhkan suatu sistem informasi manajemen supaya proses pengelolaan dan pengarsipan SK FKIP UKSW dapat dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang Sistem Informasi Manajemen Surat Keputusan (SISKA) yang dapat mempermudah pengarsipan dan mempercepat pencarian maupun mengakses arsip SK. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dimana peneliti mengembangkan Web SISKA dengan menggunakan metode waterfall. Web SISKA menggunakan PHP dan MySQL. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan sistem informasi manajemen SK berbasis web service dapat mengoptimalkan pengelolaan dan pengarsipan SK FKIP UKSW. Web SISKA ini dapat memonitoring proses pengusulan, pembuatan, disposisi SK Dekan maupun SK Rektor. Dengan terbentuknya web SISKA yang diintegrasikan dengan web FKIP UKSW yang berbasis PHP maka dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan dan pengarsipan SK di FKIP UKSW.

Abstract

Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an infectious disease that often affects the upper and lower respiratory tract. This disease is one of the main causes of death in children under five, especially in areas with less favourable environmental conditions. This study aims to map the distribution of ARI in Central Java Province using the K-Means clustering method. Through data analysis that includes inputting, transforming, processing, and visualisation, this study successfully identified three clusters of areas with different levels of ARI distribution. Cluster 0 indicates areas with low risk, such as Demak and Semarang Regency, Cluster 1 indicates areas with medium risk, such as Klaten, Magelang Regency, Pati, while cluster 2 indicates areas with high risk, including Semarang City and Surakarta City. The results of this analysis are presented as a map using QGIS to spatially visualise the distribution of ARI across Central Java. Thus, local governments can design more effective and targeted ARI prevention and control strategies.

Abstract

The digital greeting platform of Satya Wacana Christian University (UKSW) was developed as an environmentally friendly solution to replace physical greeting media in ceremonial events. This study aims to evaluate the usability level of the platform using the Heuristic Evaluation method based on Nielsen and Molich’s ten principles. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to five respondents and in-depth interviews with three of them. The evaluation results indicate five principles with the highest severity levels, namely Help and Documentation (3.8), Visibility of System Status (3.6), Error Prevention (3.6), User Control and Freedom (3.4), and Flexibility and Efficiency of Use (3.2). Identified issues include the absence of user guides, lack of process feedback, weak input validation, limited navigation, and minimal design variations. Recommended improvements involve adding a help page, process indicators, input validation, main navigation buttons, and more varied greeting templates. These findings confirm the effectiveness of heuristic evaluation in identifying interface weaknesses and provide guidance for developing a more user-friendly system.Keywords: Digital greeting platform; Heuristic Evaluation; Usability; User experience AbstrakPlatform ucapan digital Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) dikembangkan sebagai solusi ramah lingkungan untuk menggantikan media ucapan fisik pada acara seremonial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi tingkat usability platform tersebut menggunakan metode Heuristic Evaluation berdasarkan sepuluh prinsip Nielsen and Molich. Penilaian dilakukan melalui kuesioner kepada lima responden serta wawancara mendalam terhadap tiga di antaranya. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan lima prinsip dengan tingkat keparahan tertinggi, yaitu Help and Documentation (3,8), Visibility of System Status (3,6), Error Prevention (3,6), User Control and Freedom (3,4), dan Flexibility and Efficiency of Use (3,2). Permasalahan yang ditemukan meliputi ketiadaan panduan penggunaan, tidak adanya umpan balik proses, lemahnya validasi input, keterbatasan navigasi, serta minimnya variasi desain. Rekomendasi perbaikan meliputi penambahan halaman bantuan, indikator proses, validasi format input, tombol navigasi utama, serta variasi template ucapan. Abstract

The current business process at Sendang Mulya building store for recording transactions is still considered manual, with individuals writing directly on paper. This increases the likelihood of errors in recording data reports and profit calculations, leading to a decrease in employee efficiency as manual recording requires additional time and effort. Therefore, a web-based information system will be designed using the waterfall method. The chosen frameworks for development are react.js and express.js, both utilizing the JavaScript programming language, while PostgreSQL will serve as the selected database. The implemented features will cover transaction recording, employee management, supplier details, and inventory tracking. The designed information system will undergo testing using the black-box method to confirm that the system's functions operate as expected. There will be 20 test cases to evaluate the proposed information system.Keywords: Building supply store; Information system; Web Base; Waterfall AbstrakProses bisnis toko bangunan sendang mulya dalam melakukan pencatatan transaksi saat ini masih tergolong manual yaitu dengan cara yang bersangkutan menulis langsung diatas kertas. Hal ini meningkatkan kemungkinan terjadinya kesalahan dalam melakukan pencatatan laporan data hingga perhitungan laba dan berkurangnya efisiensi pekerja, karena untuk melakukan pencatatan manual pekerja membutuhkan tenaga dan waktu yang perlu dikeluarkan lagi. Dengan ini akan dirancang sistem informasi berbasis website dengan menggunakan metode waterfall. Framework yang akan digunakan adalah react.js dan express.js kedua framework menggunakan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript sedangkan PostgreSQL akan menjadi pilihan basis data yang akan digunakan. Fitur yang akan diimplementasikan meliputi pencatatan transaksi, pegawai, supplier, dan stok. Sistem informasi yang akan dirancang akan dilakukan pengujian menggunakan blackbox untuk mengkonfirmasi bahwa fungsi di dalam sistem informasi berfungsi dengan apa yang diharapkan. Akan ada 20 kasus uji untuk menguji sistem informasi yang akan diusulkan.

Abstract

Untuk mengetahui bakat dan minat seseorang, sifat dan karakter seseorang, kepintaran hingga kecerdasan  seseorang tidak hanya bisa dengan dilihat melainkan perlu melakukan psikotes sebagai tolak ukur. Psikotes biasanya ditangani oleh beberapa orang ahli dengan melakukan kegiatan bimbingan konseling. Saat ini, bimbingan konseling biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka dan psikotes dilaksanakan secara manual atau menggunakan paper based test.  Namun, paper based test membutuhkan proses pengerjaan yang lama dan pengelolaan data yang kurang efektif. Oleh karena itu, seiring berkembangnya teknologi, psikotes dapat dilakukan secara online. Maka, perlu dibangun aplikasi Computer Based Test (CBT) psikotes. Aplikasi ini dapat diikuti oleh peserta umum maupun pelajar. Di dalam sistem berisi mengenai ujian psikotes, kategori ujian psikotes dan soal, skor nilai, pengaturan durasi ujian, data peserta dan data ujian. Aplikasi Computer Based Test (CBT) psikotes dibuat secara berbasis website dan menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem Agile dengan model Extreme Programming, bahasa pemrograman PHP,  database MySQL. Extreme Programming mempunyai 4 tahapan yairu perencaan, perancangan, pengkodean dan pengujian. Perencanaan menggunakan flowchart, perancangannya memakai use case dan activity diagram serta berdasarkan hasil pengujian menggunakan Blackbox Testing aplikasi dapat berjalan dengan baik. Manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu dalam pengelolaan ujian dan mengatasi resiko dengan cara mengganti sistem ujian dari sistem ujian manual menjadi sistem Computer Based Test (CBT). Abstract  To find out a person's talents and interests, a person's nature and character, a person's intelligence can not only be seen but can do a psychological test as a measure. Psychological testing usually consists of several experts who carry out counseling guidance activities. Currently, counseling is usually carried out face-to-face and psychological tests are carried out manually or using paper-based tests. However, paper based tests require a long processing process and ineffective data management. Therefore, along with the development of technology, psychological tests can be done online. So, it is necessary to build a psychological test (CBT) application. This application can be followed by general participants and students. In the system contains the psychological test, psychological test categories and questions, assessment scores, based on exam time, participant data and exam data. The Computer Based Test (CBT) psychological test application is made on a website basis and uses the Agile system development method with the Extreme Programming model, the PHP programming language, MySQL database and the Blackbox Testing system. The benefit of this research is to assist in the management of exams and overcome risks by changing the exam system from a manual exam system to a Computer Based Test (CBT) system.

Abstract

Pengelolaan data perusahaan merupakan suatu hal utama dan krusial dalam memasuki persaingan industri era sekarang. Selain mudah dan aman, sistem manajemen yang telah terkomputerisasi dapat meminimalisir risiko human error. Dalam perancangan sistem informasi manajemen sendiri terdapat banyak metode yang dapat dipakai, salah satunya adalah metode prototype. Metode prototype memudahkan client untuk melihat dan mengevaluasi prototype secara bertahap seiring program dibangun. Prototype dapat ditambah maupun dikurangi sesuai berjalannya proses pengembangan. Metodologi prototype memiliki beberapa tahapan yaitu, communication, quick planning, quick Modelling, construction hingga deployment. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah melakukan perancangan sistem informasi manajemen perusahaan untuk mendukung aktivitas bisnis serta pengelolaan data perusahaan. Sistem informasi manajemen yang akan dibangun pada perusahaan ini meliputi komputerisasi seluruh proses bisnis, desain sistem pada setiap divisi, hingga perancangan database perusahaan. Perancangan sistem informasi ini dimulai dari pengumpulan data-data yang diperlukan menggunakan metode diskusi dan wawancara, penerjemahan data kedalam UML diagram, implementasi kode sistem, hingga testing.AbstractManagement of company data is a major and crucial thing in entering today's industrial competition. Apart from being easy and safe, a computerized management system can minimize the risk of human error. In designing the management information system itself, there are many methods that can be used, one of which is the prototype method. The prototype method makes it easy for clients to see and evaluate the prototype in stages as the program is built. Prototypes can be added or subtracted according to the development process. The stages in the prototype methodology include communication, quick planning, quick modelling, construction and deployment. The purpose of this research is to design a company management information system to support business activities and company data management. The management information system that will be built in this company includes computerization of all business processes, system design in each division, to designing company databases. The design of this information system starts from collecting the necessary data using discussion and interview methods, translating data into UML diagrams, implementing system code, to testing.

Abstract

Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Boyolali merupakan lembaga pemerintahan yang melayani administrasi kependudukan. Dalam menjalankan proses bisnisnya, Dispendukcapil sudah memanfaatkan SI/TI guna mendukung berhasilnya proses bisnis yang dijalankan, di Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali SI/TI sangat berperan penting untuk menunjang operasionalnya. Dari kondisi yang seperti itu maka dibutuhkan perencanaan strategis sistem informasi yang sejalan atau searah dengan kebutuhan bisnis dan tujuan organisasi.  Saat ini Dispendukcapil belum memiliki adanya perencanaan strategis mengenai pemanfaatan SI/TI untuk kedepannya. Perencanaan strategis ini sangat diperlukan oleh Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali guna menghindari investasi atau pengadaan SI/TI yang tidak sesuai dengan tujuan dan fungsi utamanya sebagai kantor pelayanan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu membuat suatu perencanaan strategis yang didasarkan dengan visi misi dari Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Ward and Peppard dengan melakukan analisis lingkungan bisnis dan lingkungan SI/TI secara internal maupun eksternal.Analisis yang digunakan didalam penelitian ini antara lain analisis SWOT, Value Chain digunakan untuk analisis lingkungan bisnis internal, adapun analisis PEST, Five Force Model, digunakan untuk menganalisis lingkungan bisnis eksternal, dan analisis Mc Farlan Strategic Grid digunakan untuk analisis lingkungan SI/TI internal sedangkan studi literatur dan observasi digunakan untuk melihat lingkungan SI/TI eksternal. Hasil  dari penelitian ini yaitu rekomendasi portofolio perencanaan strategis sistem informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali dalam bentuk roadmap SI/TI yang sesuai dengan fungsi dan tujuan dari organisasi dan juga dapat dikembangkan dalam jangka waktu 4 tahun, hal ini tentunya akan memberikan dampak yang baik karena  pemanfaatan SI/TI di Dispendukcapil Kabupaten Boyolali akan lebih maksimal sehingga kualitas pelayanan masyarakat akan lebih baik.AbstractThe Boyolali Regency Population and Civil Registration Service is a government institution that serves population administration. In carrying out its business processes, Dispendukcapil has utilized IS / IT to support the success of its business processes. In Boyolali Regency, SI / IT plays an important role in supporting its operations. From such conditions, it requires information system strategic planning that is in line or in line with business needs and organizational goals. Currently, Dispendukcapil has no strategic planning regarding the use of IS / IT for the future. This strategic planning is urgently needed by the Boyolali District Administration for Civil Service to avoid investment or procurement of IS / IT that is inconsistent with its main purpose and function as a community service office. The purpose of this research is to make a strategic plan based on the vision and mission of the Boyolali District Civil Service Office. This study uses the Ward and Peppard method by analyzing the business environment and IS / IT environment internally and externally. The analyzes used in this study include SWOT analysis, Value Chain is used for internal business environment analysis, as well as PEST analysis, Five Force Model, it is used to analyze the external business environment, and Mc Farlan Strategic Grid analysis is used for the analysis of the internal IS / IT environment, while the literature study and observation are used to see the external IS / IT environment. The results of this study are recommendations for information system strategic planning portfolios that are in accordance with the needs of the Boyolali District Government Office in the form of IS / IT roadmaps that are in accordance with the functions and objectives of the organization and can also be developed within a period of 4 years, this will certainly have a good impact. because the utilization of SI / IT in the Boyolali District Government Office will be maximized so that the quality of public services will be better.
