Abstract

The present study aims to describe the effectiveness of culture-based contextual mathematics learning media by considering students’ prior knowledge. This is a quasi-experimental study that employed pretest-postest non-equivalent group design. Eight graders of a Junior High School (JHS) in Yogyakarta were involved as experimental and control groups.  The data were obtained through a test to find out the students' mathematics learning achievements, while the data analysis technique used is the analysis of two-way variance with unequal cells. The results indicate that by considering the students’ previous knowledge, the culture-based contextual mathematics learning media is more effective than the conventional ones.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Know the increased motivation fourth grade students in elementary N Jombor Lor in learning through cooperative learning STAD. (2) to increase student achievement at the fourth grade of elementary school N Jombor Lor through STAD cooperative learning.This research is a class act. A resource in this study are principals, teachers, and students. Methods of data collection using tests, interviews, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed: (1) Application of STAD cooperative learning can boost the motivation of learners in the learning of Mathematics in Elementary School fourth grade students Jombor Mlati Lor sub-district. This can be seen from the percentage of students’ motivation is increased. Before being given the action of using STAD cooperative learning motivation of learners only reach the percentage of 32% or as much as 8 students. After a given action motivation of learners increased to 48% or as many as 12 students in the first cycle and to 80% or 20 students in the second cycle. (2) Application of STAD cooperative learning can improve learning achievement of learners in the learning of Mathematics in Elementary School fourth grade students Jombor Mlati Lor sub-district. Improved student achievement can be seen from the increase in the average and also the percentage of students learning completeness. Before the given action in the form STAD cooperative learning students’ average only able to reach a value of 66.20 with a percentage of 44% completeness. Having given the average value of the actions of learners has increased to 72 with a percentage of 60% in the first cycle and increased to 85 with a percentage of 92% in the second cycle

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengembangkan instrumen pengukuran nasionalisme siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar dan mengetahui kualitas instrumen penilaian yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development/ R&D). Penelitian dilakukan di SD di Gugus Sedayu. Subjek penelitian untuk ujicoba terbatas adalah 30 siswa dan uji coba luas 125 siswa. Sebelum di ujicobakan, Instrumen telah di uji kelayakan dengan validitas isi yang dianalisis menggunakan V-aiken. Penelitian berhasil mengembangkan insrtumen pengukuran sikap nasionalisme sebanyak 48 item yang terdiri atas data valensi dan faktual. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan angka KMO dan Bartlet’s test adalah 0,880. Angka tersebut lebih besar dari 0,5 dan signifikansi yang dihasilkan dibawah 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pengujian MSA ( Measure of Sampling) diperoleh hasil bahwa keseluruhan item memenuh kriteria yaitu > 0,5. Pengujian reliabilitas berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang sudah diketahui bahwa masing-masing item nilai Cronbach’ Alpha secara keseluruhan > 0,80. Hasil pengukuran sikap nasionalisme menggunakan sampel 125 siswa kelas V SD Gugus Sedayu. Indikator pertama adalah persatuan bangsa dengan rata-rata skor jawaban adalah 4 yang masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Indikator cinta tanah air dengan skor rata-rata 3 masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Indikator ketiga adalah sikap yang mencerminkan nasionalisme dengan skor rata-rata 4 masuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Indikator terakhir adalah menghargai symbol-symbol nasionalisme dengan skoe 2 yang masuk dalam kategori rendah. Development of instruments for measuring nationalism attitudes Abstract: This study aims to develop an instrument for measuring nationalism for fifth-grade elementary school students and determine the quality of the assessment instrument developed. This research is included in the type of research and development (R&D). The research was conducted in an elementary school in the Sedayu cluster. The research subjects for the limited trial were 30 students and the broad trial 125 students. Before being tested, the instrument has been tested for feasibility with content validity which was analyzed using V-aiken. The research succeeded in developing 48 items of nationalism attitude measurement instrument consisting of valence and factual data. The results of data analysis show the KMO and Bartlet's test numbers are 0.880. This figure is greater than 0.5 and the resulting significance is below 0.05. Based on the results of the MSA (Measure of Sampling) test analysis, it was found that all items met the criteria, namely > 0.5. Reliability testing is based on the results of data analysis which is already known that each item Cronbach's Alpha value as a whole > 0.80. The results of measuring the attitude of nationalism using a sample of 125 fifth grade students of SD Gugus Sedayu. The first indicator is national unity with an average answer score of 4 which is in the very high category. The indicator of love for the homeland with an average score of 3 is in the high category. The third indicator is an attitude that reflects nationalism with an average score of 4 in the very high category. The last indicator is appreciating the symbols of nationalism with a score of 2 which is in the low category.

Abstract

Indonesia saat ini sedang dalam ujian terbesar sepanjang sejarah, hampir semua wilayah tak luput dari paparan penyebaran virus hingga akhir 5 Mei 2020 tercatat 12.071 pasien positif, korban meninggal 872 jiwa, 2.197 pasien dapat sembuh, dan jumlahnya terus berubah. Sesaat pandemi Covid-19 persebarannya kian meluas, pemerintah melalui Kemendikbud melakukan kewajiban melakukan proses belajar dari rumah, sehingga paradigm sistem pembelajaran daring secara mandiri berbasis e-learning menjadi satu kebijakan bagi semua penyelenggara Pendidikan di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk; (1) menjabarkan sistem pembelajaran mandiri berbasis e-learning pada Program Vokasional di masa Pandemi Covid-19. (2) Menjabarkan bagaimana mengimplementasikan sistem pembelajaran mandiri berbasis e-learning sebagai solusi pragmatis program vikasional di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan Fenomenologi. Data dihimpun dari berbagai peristiwa, data partisipan, temuan lapangan, literasi, proses koding, analisis dan representasi, kriteria kepercayaan dan keaslian, dan refleksi peneliti dengan beberapa perspektif.  Sumber data yang diperoleh dari berbagai akses baik dari data pengalaman langsung kegiatan e-learning selama hampir satu bulan ini, arikel jurnal, media masa dan media online resmi satgas penanggulangan Covid-19 serta referensi lainnya yang dianalisis dan direfleksikan dalam proses refleksi data. Temuan hasil temuan yang dapat dipaparkan pada artikel ini antara lain: (1) Penerapan sistem pembelajaran mandiri berbasis e-learning pada Program Vokasional sebagai solusi pragmatis di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Terbukti bahwa program vokasi dapat dilaksanakan proses pembelaran daring secara mandiri tanpa menemukan hambatan yang berarti. (2) Implementasi e-learning system sebagai solusi pragmatis program vikasional di masa Pandemi Covid-19. Menurunkan kebijakan Kemendikbud tentang blajar di rumah merupakan kebijakan public yang sangat pragmatis dan mudah disesuaikan sesuai kebutuhan materi pembelajaran. Dampak sosiologis lain bahwa mahasiswa lebih diberikan keleluasaan mengelola materi praktikum secara reatif dann mandiri. ABSTRACTIndonesia is currently in the biggest test in history, almost all regions did not escape from exposure to the spread of the virus until the end of May 5, 2020 recorded 12,071 positive patients, 872 fatalities, 2,197 patients can recover, and the number continues to change. As the Covid-19 pandemic spreads, the government through the Ministry of Education and Culture has an obligation to carry out the learning process from home, so that the paradigm of an independent online learning system based on e-learning becomes policy for all education providers in Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to; (1) describes the e-learning-based independent learning system in the Vocational Program during the Covid-19 Pandemic. (2) Describes how to implement an independent learning system based on e-learning as a pragmatic solution to the vocational program during the Covid-19 Pandemic.This type of research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach. Data collected from various events, participant data, field findings, literacy, the coding process, analysis and representation, criteria for trust and authenticity, and reflection of researchers with several perspectives. Sources of data obtained from various access both from the data of direct experience of e-learning activities for almost a month, journal articles, mass media and online media official Covid-19 countermeasures and other references are analyzed and reflected in the data reflection process.The findings that can be presented in this article include: (1) The application of an independent learning system based on e-learning in the Vocational Program as a pragmatic solution during the Covid-19 Pandemic. It is proven that the vocational program can be carried out independently online shopping process without encountering significant obstacles. (2) Implementation of the e-learning system as a pragmatic solution to the vocational program during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Lowering the Ministry of Education and Culture's policy on studying at home is a very pragmatic public policy and is easily adapted to the needs of learning material. Another sociological impact is that students are given more freedom to manage practicum material in a creative and independent manner.

Abstract

Ki Hadjar Dewantara's teachings which have accumulated as Tamansiswa's teachings are so prerequisite for noble values of manners. One of the teachings in the form of the concept of education formulated by Ki Hadjar Dewantara is the Three Education Centers as teacher saka strengthening character education for the younger generation. The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Three Education Centers in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan as an effort to strengthen student character education, and explain the supporting and inhibiting factors and describe the results of the implementation of the Three Education Centers. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with the subject of this study are residents of Pawiyatan Ibu Muda School in Yogyakarta, which is the center of elementary school students' education level. Data collection techniques used are observation of recording techniques, and in depth interview techniques. The data validity checking technique uses source triangulation techniques. This study has the benefit of implementing the concept of the Three Education Centers that become the school culture in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan. In addition, the long-term benefits of this study, namely the concept of three education centers can be cultured and implemented holistically in every educational environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik integratif SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan Pengelolaan Pembelajaran tematik integratif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru kelas I sampai kelas VI SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran tematik integratif di kelasnya serta Kepala Sekolah SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis interactive model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik kurikulum 2013 di SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong berlangsung dengan baik dan lancar. Komponen input aspek yang dievaluasi berupa rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) sudah sesuai dengan indikator yang terdapat dalam Permendikbud No. 22 Tahun 2016 tentang Standar Proses Pendidikan Dasar/menengah Bab. III Tentang Perencanaan Pembelajaran dan fasilitas belajar sudah memenuhi kriteria minimal yang diatur dalam Permendikbud No. 24 Tahun 2007 Tentang Sarana dan Prasarana, selain itu guru juga memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sekolah sebagai sumber belajar. Komponen process aspek dievaluasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik sudah baik dan mulai kegiatan pendahuluan, inti, penutup, dan suasana kelas selama pembelajaran tematik berlangsung terlihat antusias dan siswa aktif. Simpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik integratif kurikulum 2013 di kelas I sampai kelas VI sesuai panduan teknis kurikulum 2013 pelaksanan pembelajaran dengan pendekatan saintifik di SD dan Buku Guru, namun pelaksanaan pendekatan saintifik belum terlaksana secara optimal.   Evaluation of the implementation of integrative thematic learning at State Elementary School 2 Kalimendong   Abstract: This research aims to describe the implementation of integrative thematic learning implementation of SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong This research is qualitative research with integrative thematic learning management. The subjects of this research are teachers from grade I to grade VI of SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong in managing integrative thematic learning in their classes and the Principal of SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive model analysis. The results showed that the implementation of the thematic learning curriculum 2013 at SD Negeri 2 Kalimendong went well and smoothly. The input component of the evaluated aspects in the form of lesson plans (RPP) is in accordance with the indicators contained in Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 concerning the Process Standards for Primary/Middle Education Chapter. III concerning Learning Planning and learning facilities have met the minimum criteria stipulated in Permendikbud No. 24 of 2007 concerning Facilities and Infrastructure, besides that teachers also utilize the environment around the school as a learning resource. The process aspect component evaluated the implementation of thematic learning is good and starts from the introduction, core, and closing activities, and the classroom atmosphere during thematic learning looks enthusiastic and active students. The conclusion of this study is that the implementation of the thematic learning integrative curriculum 2013 in grades I to grade VI is in accordance with the 2013 curriculum technical guidelines for implementing learning with a scientific approach in elementary schools and Teacher's Books, but the implementation of the scientific approach has not been implemented optimally.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberasilan penerapan virtual reality Sifoga pada aspek respon atau reaksi, aspek learning atau proses pembelajaran, aspek behavior atau hasil aspek result atau dampak dan kendala yang dijumpai dalam penerapan media virtual reality Sifoga dan bagaimana mengatasinya. Hasil evaluasi mengungkapkan bahwa: (1) reaksi peserta didik menunjukkan ketertarikan, senang dan gembira memanfaatan media virtual reality Sifoga berada pada kriteria sangat berhasil (100%); (2) proses belajar peserta didik melalui pemanfaatan media virtual reality Sifoga menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran pada kriteria sangat berhasil (79%); (3) perilaku peserta didik menunjukkan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan media virtual reality Sifoga pada kriteria berhasil 80%; (4) dampak pemanfaatan media virtual reality Sifoga pada peserta didik menunjukkan keterlaksanaan belajar mereka pada kriteria berhasil karena diatas 90%; dan (5) penerapan pemanfaatan media virtual reality, baik dari sisi sumber daya manusia pendidik, sarana prasarana, maupun dana yang tersedia secara umum tidak mengalami kendala.   Evaluation of the successful implementation of Sifoga virtual reality media (Focus and Motion Simulation)   Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the success of the application of virtual reality Sifoga on aspects of response or reaction, aspects of the learning or the learning process, aspects of behavior or the results of aspects of results or impacts, and the obstacles encountered in the application of virtual reality media Sifoga and how to overcome them. The results of the evaluation revealed that: (1) the reactions of the students showed interest, pleasure, and joy in using the Sifoga virtual reality media, which were in the very successful criteria (100%); (2) the learning process of students through the use of Sifoga virtual reality media shows the implementation of learning on the very successful criteria (79%); (3) the behavior of students shows the implementation of learning with virtual reality Sifoga media on the 80% success criteria; (4) the impact of using virtual reality Sifoga media on students shows the implementation of their learning on the criteria of success because it is above 90%; and (5) the application of the use of virtual reality media, both in terms of educator human resources, infrastructure, and generally available funds does not experience obstacles.

Abstract

This Community Service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the competence of teachers to develop an interactive E-module-based assessment instrument and the use of interactive E-modules for MI Muhammadiyah Srebegan Ceper Klaten students. The Community Service activity was carried out by the Education and Basic Education Research and Evaluation Study Program in collaboration with MI Muhammadiyah Srebegan Ceper Klaten on Saturday, July 23, 2022. The activity was carried out offline at MI Muhammadiyah Srebegan. The participants of the activity were teachers and students of MI Muhammadiyah. The implementation of the activity begins with the presentation of material by each of the 2 resource persons, followed by an experience sharing session by students of the UST Research and Evaluation Study Program and Basic Education who have worked as teachers in elementary schools, then discussions and questions and answers, and continued with the practice of preparing learning tools. independently. The results of this activity are that the activity runs smoothly, quite a lot of benefits are obtained by the participants, including getting additional knowledge related to good learning tools, as a material for self-introspection to correct previously prepared learning tools, teachers are able to practice directly in compiling assessment instruments based on E-modules are interactive and students are able to use interactive E-modules.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is: (1) to find out how teachers evaluate students' self-confidence, (2) find out the form of instruments evaluating students' self-confidence, and (3) find out the tendency of students' self-confidence values. The results of this study indicate that, the teacher has not used the assessment sheet only uses observation sheets or journals to measure the value of students' self-confidence, the final instrument of self-confidence is valid and reliable with 8 indicators containing 40 items consisting of 20 valence items and 20 factual items , and resulted in the tendency of self-confidence of Elementary School Students of the Taruna Krida Group Sawangan District in medium category
