Abstract

In preparation for implementing the AKM, the teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 8 Malang City also prepared questions and deemed it necessary to pay close attention. Observations are carried out based on the components of the AKM question instrument that have been determined by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The method used is by examining and analyzing literacy AKM questions that have been prepared objectively and systematically. The source of the research data is the literacy AKM questions that have been made by the teacher. Data analysis was carried out regarding the suitability of the questions with the components of the AKM instrument on cognitive processes. This study aims to see how the questions that have been prepared by the teacher are in accordance with the components of the AKM instrument, especially in cognitive processes and see the quality of the questions. The results of the analysis related to the AKM questions that have been made by the teacher have a cognitive aspect instrument component at each grade level. Not all questions contain components of cognitive processing instruments. In addition, the forms of questions that have been made have different types of questions, namely multiple choice, short answers, true false, and so on.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made all schools in Indonesia carry out online learning activities, including SDN 1 Kalirejo, Malang Regency. The implementation of online learning does not always run smoothly, but is accompanied by problems that appear one after another. The type of research used is qualitative research. The research technique used is in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. Subjects in this study amounted to 7 people, including the principal and teachers in grades 1 to grade 6. The results obtained from this study are that problems occur in each class. Online learning problems arise because the implementation of online learning is still something new for all parties who are directly related to education. Online learning is carried out without prior socialization and simulation, but is directly applied in the field. This is what demands school principals, teachers, students, and parents to adapt to the online learning system. It is in this adaptation process that new problems that must be faced by principals, teachers, students, and parents emerge. The problems faced by each classroom teacher are also different.

Abstract

Class management skills are one of the primary teaching skills that are important to be mastered by prospective teacher students. Therefore, before students enter the field, they must ensure their ability to manage the class. The learning process will be conducive if the teacher manages the class well enough to support the learning process. The purpose of this study was to take a deeper look at the ability to manage student-teacher classes. This study uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. With the research stages (1) Preparation Stage, in the preparation stage, the researcher prepares a research plan and makes interview, observation, and documentation guidelines. (2) Implementation phase, researchers conduct field studies by carrying out observations and interviews, as well as taking documentation with (3) Findings Researchers analyze findings and draw conclusions from research results and continue with the last stage, namely (4) Research Reporting Stage using the method in collecting data by observation, interviews, and documentation. This study's results indicate that prospective teacher students' ability to manage the class is excellent. Each indicator in managing the class is carried out according to the student's experience demonstrating basic teaching skills. Researchers hope for future researchers to look more deeply into prospective teacher students' ability to master other basic teaching skills in more detail and innovatively.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan penulisan cerita anak berbasis profil remaja Pancasila merupakan kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan jumlah bahan bacaan bagi siswa, sehingga baik guru maupun siswa mendapatkan referensi bacaan lain selain buku guru dan siswa. SDN Balearjosari 1 Kota Malang terletak di Kota Malang, jarak antara perguruan tinggi penyelenggara program sejauh 8,2 km. Jumlah guru di SDN Balearjosari 1 Kota Malang adalah 16 orang dan rata-rata mempunyai pengalaman menulis cerita anak. Pendampingan ini berfokus pada pada cerita anak berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila. Hal tersebut dilakukan karena Pelajar Pancasila merupakan pelajar sepanjang hayat yang kompeten dan memiliki karakter sesuai nilai-nilai Pancasila. Karakter yang ada dalam profil pelajar Pancasila diantaranya (1) beriman, bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME, dan berakhlak mulia, (2) berkebhinekaan global, (3) bergotong royong, (4) mandiri, (5) bernalar kritis, dan (6) kreatif. Tujuan program pengabdian yang nantinya akan memberi dampak diantaranya (a) pembaharuan pengetahuan bagi kepala sekolah dan guru terkait penulisan cerita anak, (b) peningkatan produktifitas guru dalam menulis cerita anak, (c) peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam menulis cerita anak berbasis profil pelajar pancasila, (d) peningkatan kegiatan pengembangan ilmu, dan teknologi baik di perguruan tinggi maupun sekolah, (e) memberikan kontribusi positif kepada masyarakat terkait pemanfaatan cerita anak berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila sebagai referensi bahan ajar di sekolah. Kegiatan pendampingan penulisan cerita anak berbasis profil pelajar pancasila di SDN Balearjosari 1 Kota Malang ini menggunakan metode workshop. Kegiatan pendampingan penulisan cerita anak berbasis profil pelajar pancasila di SDN Balearjosari 1 Kota Malang dilakukan dalam tiga tahap. Tahap pertama adalah persiapan, tahap kedua adalah pelaksanaan, dan tahap ketiga adalah evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan ini, guru mampu menghasilkan karya cerita anak berbasis profil pelajar pancasila, bertambahnya kemampuan guru dalam teknik menulis cerita anak, lebih mendalami profil pelajar pancasila untuk diintegrasikan dalam cerita anak.

Abstract

Guru diharapkan mampu menyajikan pembelajaran berkualitas baik secara luring maupun daring untuk memenuhi tuntutan perkembangan zaman. Untuk menyajikan pembelajaran secara daring diperlukan perangkat pembelajaran yang dapat diakses siswa secara daring dalam bentuk digital dan disajikan secara menarik. Guru seringkali kesulitan untuk menyajikan media pembelajaran yang menarik dan inovatif. Tim pengabdi beserta pihak sekolah bersepakat bahwa sebagai upaya pengembangan profesionalisme guru, memang perlu dilakukan pelatihan untuk memberikan penyegaran kembali terkait bagaimana menyusun media pembelajaran yang berbasis digital.  Dengan demikian, pelatihan terkait penyusunan media pembelajaran digital ini sebagai upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru di SD Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Batu perlu dilakukan. Pelatihan ini penting dilakukan karena perlu adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru-guru di SD Muhammadiyah 5 Kota Batu terkait dengan penyusunan media pembelajaran digital. Guru perlu diberikan pelatihan untuk membekali diri sebelum membuat media pembelajaran untuk mengajar. Adapun bentuk pelatihan yang dilakukan adalah memberikan materi penyegaran terkait berbagai jenis media pembelajaran berbasis digital, dan memberikan pendampingan untuk melakukan penyusunan media pembelajaran digital. Tim pengabdi memberikan pelatihan yang dimulai dengan pemberian materi terkait aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk membuat media pembelajaran digital beserta langkah-langkahnya. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan bagi guru-guru untuk membuat langsung media pembelajaran digital. Setelah itu guru akan didampingi untuk dapat mengimplementasikan media pembelajaran digital yang telah dibuat. Diharapkan dari kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran guru di kelas sehingga terbentuk guru-guru yang profesional.

Abstract

The learning outcomes of grade 5 students at SDN Sawojajar 1 in the learning process on geographical location material are still low. The cause of the lack of learning processes experienced by these students is because they have not been managed properly, the point is to improve learning outcomes and student learning creativity in applying effective media providing an alternative to research using classroom action research learning methods. The purpose of this classroom action research is research that is used to improve the learning process as an effort to improve learning outcomes and learning creativity of 5th grade students at SDN Sawojajar 1. This classroom action research takes place in two cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 steps of research activities, namely planning, implementing, observation and reflection which are used as a basis for improving planning in the next cycle. the instruments used to observe the results of these actions are a practical procedure based on projects, questionnaires and tests of student learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis in cycles 1 and 2, students' creativity increased in study groups as well as student learning outcomes in study groups. the results of the analysis of cycles 1 and 2, as well as the learning outcomes of students' scores have reached the predetermined minimum completeness criteria, namely 75. The average value of student learning outcomes in objects in cycle 1 increased from 36% to 75% in cycle 2.

Abstract

The educational process cannot be separated from a teaching and learning activity. There are two factors that make children less creative, namely internal factors (which come from within the students) and external factors (which come from the environment around the students). Focusing on the problems researchers will create learning strategies that can provide solutions and of course involve students actively, innovatively and creatively. Learning aims to increase the creativity of students. In the independent curriculum more emphasis on two learning models namely Project Based Learning (PJBL) and Problem Based Learning (PBL). In this regard, the professional competence of a teacher is needed, when choosing models, methods and learning media to achieve the expected learning objectives. The research model used by researchers in this study is the action research model class Kemmis and Mc Taggart. This research was conducted during II cycles with four interrelated stages in each cycle, namely: planning, action, observation, and finally reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class VI at SDN Sawojajar 1 Malang City for the 2022/2023 academic year, which consisted of 30 students. Consists of 12 male students and 18 female students. The object of this research is the creativity of students in the learning process. The results of product assessments produced by students showed that the ability to sketch pottery, the neatness of paint on pottery, the attitude of responsibility and discipline increased most significantly. The ability to sketch pottery is increased by 35%. The neatness of the paint on the pottery increased by 41%. Aspects of attitude of responsibility and discipline increased by 24%. The suitability of the material produced by students in both cycle I and cycle II all shows the achievement of learning objectives with the material being studied. The results of the analysis of the data obtained during the evaluation showed an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II. From the classical percentage in cycle I, it showed that 22 out of 30 students completed or 73% percent fulfilled the KKM. In cycle II there was an increase from 30 students who completed to 28 students or 93% percent, only 2 students remained who had not fulfilled the KKM.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health problem in Indonesia. Basic Health Research Data (Riskesdas) shows the prevalence of stunting under five in 2018 reached 30.8 percent, which means that one in three toddlers is stunted. Stunting refers to the condition of a child's height being shorter than a child's height in general, due to lack of nutritional intake for a long time in the first 1000 days of life (HPK). When adults, children who are stunted will be vulnerable to attacks of non-communicable diseases such as: heart disease, stroke, diabetes, or kidney failure; hampering Indonesia's demographic bonus where the ratio of the non-working age population to the working age population decreases; threat of reducing intelligence level by 5-11 points. Seeing the dangers of stunting, strategic and systematic steps are needed from various elements of society (stakeholders). Because stunting is one of the causes of community knowledge (especially pregnant women and mothers of children under five) about stunting, this community empowerment program aims to prevent stunting through healthy village design, socialization, training, institutional capacity building, and awareness raising, as well as increasing availability. food. The activity method is cross sectional and community participation, and the research method uses pure description. The population is Posyandu Cadre, Sumbersekar Village Head and his staff, TPPKK Chair and PKK members, and other stakeholders, carried out in August-November 2022. The results of this empowerment activity are increased knowledge, awareness, community capacity in preventing and handling stunting, including in the depth of access to food as a source of nutrition for stunting management.

Abstract

Literacy is an important skill that every learner must have because a large part of the educational process depends on literacy skills and awareness. It is important to be able to implement literacy using various types of literacy media, one of which is literacy media in the form of teaching aids. This study aims to analyze learning media products that have been made by students, especially teaching aids based on learning media criteria and oriented to literacy activities. This research uses a qualitative research model with a descriptive method that uses Miles and Huberman data analysis. The instruments used in this research are interview instruments and data documentation related to literacy media. The results of this study show that various types of teaching aids can be used in literacy learning. Literacy-oriented teaching aids can be an effective solution to help literacy activities in an easier, more interesting, fun, and effective way. The various types of teaching aids can perform the function of media well and support the literacy skills that must be mastered (reading, speaking, listening, and writing).

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan mengenai kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh dosen Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang untuk memaksimalkan kualitas guru di SD Muhammadiyah 8 Kota Malang melalui penulisan artikel ilmiah. Salah satu indikator menjadi guru professional adalah menulis artikel ilmiah. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode Training of Trainer (ToT) dengan langkah yaitu workshop pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah, pendampingan penulisan artikel ilmiah, implementasi penulisan artikel ilmiah, serta evaluasi dan refleksi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah guru dapat menulis artikel ilmiah dengan berbagai topik pembelajaran.
