Abstract

Beragam tanaman yang tumbuh subur, selain memberikan keindahan juga bermanfaat sebagai bahan pangan. Salah satu jenis tanaman yang banyak dijumpai dan harganya terjangkau adalah pepaya. Pemanfaatan pepanya dapat beraneka ragam, sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Salah satu wujud kepedulian kampus pada masyarakat adalah melaksananakan kegiatan pengabdian. Pengabdian diselenggarakan di Talang Ubi, Kelurahan Pulokerto. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan berupa pelatihan pembuatan abon pepaya. Abon pepaya ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh ibu-ibu rumah tangga untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga.  Kegiatan pengabdian berupa ceramah, presentasi dan praktek membuat abon pepaya. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian memberikan manfaat yaitu (1) Minat dan keinginan menanam buah papaya; (2) Meningkatkan kreatifitas mengolah buah pepaya menjadi abon; (3) Sebagai alternatif untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga. Dampak (impact) dari kegiatan ini adalah menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan bagi ibu rumah tangga untuk memanfaatkan pekarangan rumah dengan menanam pepaya. Pengolahan pepaya menjadi abon merupakan nilai tambah bagi pepaya. Abon pepaya dikemas dan dapat dijual untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga.

Abstract

Dewasa ini perkembangan Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) didukung dengan perkembangan teknologi. Adanya revolusi industri 4.0 memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan dunia usaha. Pemanfaatan teknologi mutakhir tepat guna dalam pengembangan usaha yang berdasarkan pada jiwa entrepreneur yang mapan akan dapat mengoptimalkan proses sekaligus hasil dari unit usaha yang dikembangkan. Pelatihan e-Commerce pada home industry memberikan manfaat pada pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah di Desa Kerinjing untuk meningkatkan omset penjualan serta dapat mengembangkan usaha yang dijalaninya agar berkembang menjadi lebih besar lagi. Adanya website e-Commerce ini pelanggan yang didapat bukan hanya dari lingkup Desa Kerinjing saja, akan tetapi pelanggan bisa dari Desa Kerinjing bahkan bisa di luar Sumatera Selatan, tentunya dapat membantu pemerintah dalam meningkatkan perekonomian terutama didaerah desa, sehingga daerah desa menjadi terbuka peluang untuk bisa bersaing dikancah nasional maupun dikancah internasional. Proses pemesanan, proses penjualan dan stok barang bisa dilakukan dengan cepat dan akurat sehingga dapat membantu memonitoring usaha dan juga tentunya dapat meningkatkan omset penjualan bagi pelaku UMKM yang ada di Desa Kerinjing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of economic, environmental and social aspects on the form of disclosure of maqashid syari’ah in the sustainability report company’s. The data used is individual data with a sample of 352 people who work for state-owned companies operating in the South Sumatra region. This study uses quantitative methods by applying multiple linear regression models. The findings in this study indicate that jointly the indicators adopted from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) grouped on economic, environmental, and social aspects have a significant and positive effect on the disclosure of Maqashid Syari'ah in the sustainability reports. The implication of this research implicitly reveals that GRI indicators covering economic, environmental, and social aspects in companies have a big role in realizing goodness while avoiding bad, or benefit (maslahat) and rejecting madharat

Abstract

The high economic growth is very important for Indonesia to accelerate the development process at this period. Although, the growth rate was reached at 5.17 % in 2018 is likely high enough, some domestic economists even point out, it really can be raised to a higher level. This research tries to investigate and formulate again Indonesia’s economic growth rate in 2018 and forecast it for 2019. By doing analysis recent real GDP data by industrial origin and by type of expenditures, and also consider all of the available potential economic resources, this research shows that Indonesia’s economic growth rate could stand at 6.03 % in 2018 and also at 6.03 % in 2019. Anyway, the government need a good economic plan and consistently performing appropriate strategies which are suited to targets in order to have rapid and stable economic growth rate

Abstract

This study is to investigate the effect of human capital, labor domicile, gender, and working hours on the productivity of MSME workers in South Sumatra. The data used are primary data, data collection with a purposive sample approach as many as 196 samples as workers in SMEs. This study applies a logistic regression approach. The findings of this study indicate that independent tests, human capital, labor domicile, gender, and working hours have a significant relationship to labor productivity. Likewise, jointly the predictor variables such as junior high school, Local  workers, male, and working hours of more than seven hours have the opportunity to get higher productivity than other categories in SMEs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to seen the dynamic of economic growth within two types of typology year of 2007-2012, and the connection patter of economic growth and Human Development Index in Province of South Sumatera. Analyzing methods which used in this research are qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, research by Klassen typology analysis technique, and Rank Spearman Correlation. The result can be concluded if economic growth typology and HDI showed that (1) region which include in high level economic growth and HDI classification is Palembang. This also strengthen Palembang top position in region competing level; (2) regions which in the second quadrant with low level economic growth and HDI classification are District of Lahat, Ogan Komering Ilir, Banyuasin, East OKU, and also the city of Lubuk Linggau; (3) regions which in high level of HDI classification, but low level in economic growth are District of South OKU, Ogan Komering Ulu, the city of Pagar Alam, and also Prabumulih; (4) on the other hand District of Musi Banyuasin, Muara Enim, Ogan Ilir, and Musi Rawas included as low level of economic growth and HDI. The mathematical result showed that the role of district or city economic growth is not supported to push up the level of economic growth. It showed from the value of r = 0.600 or equal to 60 percent. The low role of human resource to economic growth indicated the low intention from the government to the human resource development. Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of ASEAN Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA) on Indonesia Trade with gravity model approach using panel data. This research is using Hausman and Chow test to choose the best between the Fixed Effect model (FEM) and Random Effect Model (REM). The test result shows that REM is the best model choosen to analyze the effect from GDP per capita, Exchange rate, distance and AKFTA Policy to the import from 14 AKFTA country economies to Indonesia. The result from R2 shows that the variation of independent variables (GDP per capita, Exchange rate, distance and AKFTA Policies) affected the variation of dependent variable (Import) as 54 percent. Meanwhile, from the gravity theory, the trade among AKFTA economies to Indonesia has bring positive impact as the distance has positive sign and lead to form trade creation. The variable of dummy policy has negative and significantly affected the import.

Abstract

Environmental problems are currently the most common problems in the Indonesian environment. This environmental problem can be caused by the characteristics of humans as economic beings from several things, ranging from natural factors or factors from humans themselves. Most of these problems sometimes do not have a solution to solve them. So that it causes natural and environmental damage to continue. This study aims to determinethe influence of development on water quality, air quality on economic growth in South Sumatra Province.Secondary data used is time series sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics, IKPLHD and related agencies during the period 2013 to 2017. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression based on Ordinary Least Square (OLS) along with statistical tests and tests. Classic Assumptions. The estimation results conducted show that the variables of air quality and water quality have a significant influence and have a positive relationship to per capita economic growth in South Sumatra.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of economic growth, education expenditures, and health expenditures on human development index (HDI) in Jambi Province. This study used panel data of 11 district/cities from 2012 to 2019. The analytical approach was quantitative by applying panel data regression models. The findings of the study indicated that the economic growth, education expenditure, and health expenditure had a significant and positive influence on the human development index. The implication of the model in this study shows that the efforts made by the Jambi provincial government are effective and optimal in allocating education and health spending to encourage increased human capital as measured by a high human development index. This is input in structural reforms in the education and health sectors to ensure that skilled human resources are developed in areas critical to economic development.
