Abstract

The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM with Digital Microscope, and to find out how the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM in improving the Science Process Skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 29 Idai. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. The research data collection tools were the observation sheet of science process skills and student worksheets. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the assessment of Science Process Skills showed that there was an increase in the ability to observe students from 45.83% to 64.58%, the ability to classify students from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to predict students from 43.75% to 56, 25%, the ability to submit hypotheses from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to conclude 39.58% to 56.33%, and application skills from 31.25% to 58.33%. So it can be concluded that Ethno-STEM learning assisted by a simple digital microscope can improve the Science Process Skills of SDN 29 Idai students.

Abstract

AbstrakPeningkatan profesional guru harus terus dilakukan. Pengembangan keprofesian berkelanjutan merupakan salah satu dari unsur utama yang kegiatannya dapat diberikan angka kredit. Masih terdapat kendala yang dialami guru dalam membuat proposal maupun laporan penelitian seperti halnya yang dialami oleh guru-guru anggota MGMP IPA Kabupaten Mempawah. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru IPA dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan, melaporkan, serta mempublikasikan hasil penelitian. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru-guru anggota MGMP IPA Kabupaten Mempawah. Kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan dilakukan melalui tahap analisis masalah, paparan materi, diskusi dan pada akhir sesi dilakukan pendampingan dalam merencanakan, melaksanakan dan mengevaluasi kegiatan. Pada akhir kegiatan pengabdian diharapkan guru sasaran telah menghasilkan proposal penelitian dan telah memiliki wawasan pengetahuan cara mempublikasikan pada jurnal ilmiah yang akan dituju.

Abstract

Kegiatan KKN gotong royong melalui gerakan masyarakat turun tangan di Desa Pal Sembilan Kabupaten Kubu Raya dalam merajut negeri menghadapi pandemi yang dilaksanakan oleh IKIP PGRI Pontianak sebagai agen perubahan dan pelaksanaan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, sangat relevan dengan Gerakan Nasional Revolusi Mental (GRMN). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membentuk mental yang berintegritas, etos kerja dan gotong royong. Selain itu, dapat berkontribusi dalam proses pembangunan dan kesadaran melaksanakan 5 Gerakan Revolusi mental di antaranya melayani, mandiri, bersih, bersatu, dan tertib. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) mengadopsi pola pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan meliputi empat tahap, yaitu: perencanaan program, pelaksanaan program, observasi dan evaluasi, dan refleksi. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian yaitu penyuluhan/seminar, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan antara lain: (1) Terlaksananya Pelatihan pembuatan handsanitizer dan desain kemasan produk serta gerakan sadar kebersihan; (2) terlaksananya pembekalan (coaching) program gerakan nasional revolusi mental bagi mahasiswa; dan (3) terlaksananya pembekalan (coaching clinic) pengembangan kreativitas dan produktivitas generasi milenial untuk masa depan Indonesia emas “fasilitasi pengembangan kreativitas”. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa program Gerakan nasional revolusi mental IKIP PGRI Pontianak telah terlaksana dengan lancar dan mendapatkan respon yang baik dari peserta dan warga masyarakat di Desa Pal IX.

Abstract

Conflict management is the process by which a conflicting party or third party develops a conflict strategy and implements it to control the conflict to produce the desired solution. This study aims to determine the causes or factors of conflict in BBC New Indonesia's coverage of Sangihe Island. This study uses non-participant observation, where researchers observe research subjects without direct participation. This observation is done by watching the film and reading the contents of the film. Documentary reporting that gold mines on Sangihe Island threaten endemic forests and endangered birds - BBC News Indonesia caught the attention of Indonesians because the video has been viewed more than 200,000 times on their YouTube channel. This shows that the topics presented in the video are interesting and need to be informed to a wide audience. The rejection of PT TMS by the Sangihe community was caused by several factors, among which the Sangihe community did not agree with PT TMS because they wanted to protect and preserve the nature of Sangihe's return.

Abstract

This study aims at knowing both the process and result of improving students' ability in comprehending English texts through Pedagogical Translation Strategy. The Riel's model of action research method was used to conduct this study. The data was collected through observation, test, interview, questionnaire, and diary. The gained data was analysed statistically or qualitatively in order to know theprocess and the result of improvement caused by the application of Pedagogical Translation Strategy which was eleborated into main instructional actions of first, second and third cyclical Instructional Action Package. It was proved that the quality of process and result of instruction were improved. The average scores for learningprocess increased significantly from 3.1 to 3.4 and to 3.6 in thefirst, second, and third cycle, respectively. Whereas, for learning result, particularly in comprehending English text, students got average scores of 40.2, 59.9, 70.6 and 72.9 in pre-test, cycle I, cycle II and cycle III, consecutively. This means that The pedagogical translation strategy is significantly effective to be used for teaching reading comprehension, particularly English texts. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memahami teks bahasa Inggris melalui Strategi Penerjemahan Pedagogis. Metode penelitian tindakan model Riel digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian ini. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui pengamatan, tes, wawancara, angket, dan catatan harian. Data-data tersebut kemudian dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif atau kualitatif untuk mengetahui proses dan hasil peningkatan yang disebabkan oleh penerapan Strategi Penerjemahan Pedagogis yang dijabarkan menjadi tindakan-tindakan inti dalam Paket Tindakan Pembelajaran siklus pertama, kedua, dan ketiga. Terbukti bahwa kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran telah dapat ditingkatkan. Skor rata-rata proses pembelajaran meningkat secara signifikan dari 3,1 pada siklus pertama, menjadi 3,4 pada siklus kedua, dan 3,6 pada siklus ketiga. Selanjutnya, peningkatan hasil pembelajaran ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata tes awal dan siklus pemahaman teks bahasa Inggris. Nilai-nilai tersebut adalah 40,2 pada tes awal, menjadi 59,9 pada siklus pertama, 70,6 pada siklus kedua, dan 72,9 pada siklus ketiga. Hal ini berarti bahwa Strategi Penerjemahan Pedagogis efektif untuk dipergunakan mengajar Pemahaman Bacaan, khususnya teks berbahasa Inggris.

Correlation method by explaining the relationship of variable X with variable Y, in this case correlation by explaining the relationship and the effect of parent attention on student achievement. The results of the study (1) there is a significant functional relationship between the variables of parent attention to student learning achievement. F count of tuna matches 1,154 <f table 2.42 meaning that the relationship of parent attention to learning achievement is linear, or the regression of Y over X is linear. (2) The magnitude of the effect of variable X on variable Y = 11.8%, the relationship of parent attention to student achievement = 0.343, the remaining 88.92% was determined by other factors. Abstract

Abstract: Unggahan tradition in a ritual that is unique and full of magical feel. Unggahan conducted at sites considered sacred and trusted local people can get closer to the Almighty. This ritual in understood as a form of preservation of cultural heritage. In the social and cultural context, unggahan can be used as a vehicle for social cohesion, a means of togetherness of community members. In a unggahan ritual procession, community members gathered togheter without any barriers in the class and social status. Unggahan centred in rural communities Bonokeling Pekuncen Jatilawang District of Banyumas. All members of the community, including “child putu” of the various regions, both in the district of the Banyumas, Cilacap, Banjarnegara, even in far away arears come together in Pekuncen. Unggahan also become a means of gathering the family and as well as a social, cultural, and religious transformation. Unggahan is an expression of piety society where a sense of mutual assistance, solidarity and togetherness become main patterns of this tradition. Abstract

Secara objektif, studi ini kami lakukan untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji bagaimana penerapan penggunaan media social dalam pembelajaran maharatul kalam dan dampak penggunaan media social untuk meningkatkan maharatul kalam bagi mahasiswa Jurusan Sastra Arab Fakultas Sastra Universitas Muslim Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini kami menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui media online sebagai media pembelajaran maharatul kalam. Data kami kumpulkan melalui beberapa proses observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes yang dianalisis, diproses dengan mengatur data kemudian mengorganisasikannya ke dalam suatu pola, kategori dan satuan uraian. Untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian yang kami ajukan dalam studi ini, kami menggunakan metode triangulasi data yang terdiri dari beberapa tahap seperti reduksi data, sajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil studi kami menunjukkan bahwa penerapan penggunaan media social dalam pembelajaran maharatul kalam mahasiswa Jurusan Sastra Arab Fakultas Sastra UMI oleh dosen pengampu mata kuliah masih terbatas misalnya pada pertemuan pertama dan kedua dengan WhatsApp dan Youtube. Penggunaan media social dalam pembelajaran maharatul kalam memberi dampak dalam pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Kami melihat ada sebuah korelasi dan pengaruh penggunaan media social dalam pembelajaran maharatul kalam sehingga memberi dampak penguasaan mufradat (kosa kata baru), mudah diakses kapan dan dimanapun, tidak ada batas ruang dan waktu melalui beragam aplikasi. Kata Kunci: Media Sosial, Maharatul kalam, Sastra Arab.AbstractObjectively, we conducted this study to analyze and examine the application of social media in learning Maharatul Kalam and the impact of using social media to improve Maharatul Kalam for students of the Department of Arabic Literature, Faculty of Letters at the Indonesian Muslim University. In this study, we used a qualitative approach through online media as a learning medium for Maharatul Kalam. We collect data through several processes of observation, interviews, documentation, and tests which are analyzed and processed by organizing the data and then organizing it into a pattern, category, and descriptive unit. We use a data triangulation method consisting of several stages, such as data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, to answer the research problems we propose in this study. The results of our study show that the application of the use of social media in learning Maharatul Kalam for students of the Department of Arabic Literature, Faculty of Letters of UMI by lecturers who teach the subject is still limited, for example, in the first and second meetings with WhatsApp and Youtube. The use of social media in Maharatul Kalam learning impacts achieving learning objectives. We see that there is a correlation and influence of the use of social media in learning Maharatul Kalam so that it has the effect of mastering mufradat (new vocabulary), easily accessible anytime and anywhere, without space and time limits through various applications. Keywords: Social Media, Maharatul kalam, Arabic Literature.

Abstract

UMI Arabic language lecturers using audio-visual will be helped in learning Arabic. The development and advancement of technology provide a variety of audiovisual alternatives. The reality is that UMI lecturers generally use audiovisuals which are still limited to tapes and videos whose numbers are very limited. For this reason, in the process of learning Arabic, it needs to be great attention from lecturers in preparing teaching materials accompanied by media that can support the occurrence of active, innovative and productive learning processes, so that students not only memorize and know vocabulary but are able to apply all the vocabulary and grammar he understands in everyday conversation. This study aims to describe the effectivenessof learning Arabic with audiovisual media. This type of research is field research using a descriptive qualitative approach. The object of the research is the application of audiovisual media in learning Arabic Language students of West Asian Literature, Faculty of Literature and Students of Arabic Language Education, Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Indonesia. Methods of collecting data with questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. Data processing methods are carried out in three stages, namely preparation, data collection stage and data processing stage. The process of data analysis using data triangulation methods,namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The three components are interrelated and carried out together in the process of concluding the final results of the study. The output that will be achieved is the publication of effective audiovisual use textbooks in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bermaksud menjelaskan proses transmisi beberapa perubahan regulasi yang menyangkut standard pendidikan guru agar mereka selalu mengupdate kompetensi dan melakukan perubahan sesuai dengan konteks pendidikan yang ada. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini disasar pada 40 orang guru yang belum tersertifikasi. Sesuai tahapannya, kegiatan persiapan dilakukan dengan koordinasi dan unjuk kerja, serta metode presentasi dan diskusi digunakan pada tahap pelaksanaan. Secara subtantif Permenristekdikti Nomor 55 Tahun 2017 berimplikasi pada dua hal, yaitu penyelenggaraan Program Pendidikan Sarjana Pendidikan dan Program Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG). Sebab, dalam regulasi itu mengatur tentang standard penyelenggaraan kedua program tersebut. Proses Program PPG dalam Jabatan menjadi bahan diskusi intensif antara narasumber dan peserta terutama mengenai proses, kriteria peserta, dan kelulusan peserta PPG, termasuk keberadaan Lembaga Pendidik dan Tenaga Kependidikan (LPTK).
