Abstract

English as a local content in elementary schools, but students lack the desire and enthusiasm to learn English, students think that English is very difficult both pronunciation and writing. The purpose of the study is to utilize YouTube videos as learning media using the Drill and Practice method to improve English vocabulary in elementary schools, this study uses a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach, the results of the study that the utilization of YouTube videos using the Drill and Practice model can improve English language skills in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 4 Metro Barat, with research subjects 20 students produced good results and experienced an increase in learning outcomes. In the pre-cycle the level of completeness of student learning outcomes was 40%, in cycle I the level of completeness of learning outcomes was 60%, in cycle II it increased with a level of completeness of learning outcomes of 95%, so the level of completeness of student learning outcomes in cycles I and II increased by 30%. So it can be concluded that by utilizing YouTube videos using the Drill and Practice method can improve English language skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract: The research was conducted to find out the form of instruments used in the evaluation of the Arabic language learning curriculum in MI. This study uses a case study method at MI Mambaul Ma'arif. The research subject of the teacher of Arabic subjects. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique is carried out by inductive analysis techniques. The results revealed that there are four types of curriculum evaluation, namely formative evaluation, summative evaluation, input evaluation, and product evaluation. The instrument forms used are test and nontest. Test instruments are classified into nen types, and twelve types of non-test types. The selection of instrument forms must be following the needs and characteristics of the learners. And teachers have no difficulty in making and implementing these forms of instruments when conducting evaluations either in the form of tests or nontests. If the results shown have not reached the minimum standard, it is necessary to provide follow-up in the form of remedial activities. And if it has reached the minimum standard, enrichment activities may be given.

Abstract

Gerakan revolusi yang dipimpin oleh Khomeini, berhasil menumbangkan sistem monarki dan mendirikan negara republik dengan menerapkan syariat Islam dalam kehidupan bernegara dan bermasyarakat, sesuai dengan mazhab syiah Itsna’ Asyariyah. Setelah revolusi Islam Iran tahun 1979, sistem pendidikan Iran mengalami perubahan yang sangat mendasar, semua upaya pendidikan serta pengajaran harus sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Upaya-upaya pendidikan juga harus diarahkan pada penggunaan al-Quran, tradisi Islam, dan konstitusi republik Islam Iran sebagai dasar dalam merumuskan tujuan dan sasaran pendidikan.  Iran menyediakan sarana cuma-cuma bagi para pemuda dan anak-anak sampai tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode pengajaran menggunakan hafalan. Kurikulum pendidikan Islam di Iran menganut sistem sentralistik yang kurikulum diatur oleh pemerintah pusat. sedangkan perguruan tinggi, di mana dosenlah yang menentukan isi mata kuliahnya. Madrasah tertua berada di iran seperti madrasah miyan dahiyah, al-bahaqiyah, dan Nizhamiyyah

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach in improving students' constructivist thinking skills in class VI science learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study used a qualitative method with descriptive qualitative research. The primary data source was obtained from the teacher. Data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. With the results of research regarding the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to improve the constructivist thinking skills of students in science learning class VI of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, that science learning includes three stages namely planning, implementation and evaluation and in this study the results were obtained by increasing the ability Constructive thinking of students in science learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah is based on the teacher's competency in managing the class first starting from asking questions, and learning media, the teacher in optimizing all students' abilities to be able to participate actively in learning through providing motivation to students, there are also efforts to overcome obstacles from the ineffectiveness of the CTL learning approach by increasing the percentage of time for teachers

Abstract

Motivation is one of the psychological elements present in every student, so that to arouse students' enthusiasm for active learning, the role of the teacher in providing learning motivation is very important. One of the determinants of successful learning is the motivation that students possess. This research was conducted with the aim of: (1) Knowing and describing the role of teachers in motivating students' learning in thematic learning in grade V at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). (2) Knowing and describing the efforts of teachers in motivating students' learning in thematic learning in grade V at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). This research is a qualitative descriptive study using observation, interview, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of this study state that: (1) The role of teachers in motivating students' learning in thematic learning in grade V at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) is demonstrated by the teacher as a demonstrator, classroom manager, mediator and facilitator, and evaluator. (2) Efforts made by teachers to motivate student learning include: a) The teacher as a demonstrator: using appropriate methods, using language that is easy to understand. b) The teacher as a classroom manager: paying attention to students' concentration, rolling seats. c) The teacher as a mediator and facilitator: providing learning media and facilities, playing movies. d) The teacher as an evaluator: giving rewards, giving grades or scores, giving praise and punishment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran kompetensi sosial guru dalam pembelajaran autentik berlandaskan profil pelajar Pancasila yang sesuai dengan tuntutan nasional untuk memenuhi kebutuhan belajar peserta didik. Peneliti melakukan penelitian di SD 20 ranah batahan teknik penelitian ini melalui observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi  Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara bagaiamana peran kompetensi sosial guru dalam pembelajaran autentik berlandaskan profil pelajar pancasila, dan peneliti mengamati peran komepetensi sosial guru dalam pembelajaran autentik berlandaskan profil pelajar pancasila di SD 20 ranah batahan. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui mengobservasi guru dan pserta didik dalam pembelajaran terlihat guru melakukan penanaman nilai agama dan pancasila di dalam pembelajaran seperti membaca doa sebelum dan sesudah belajar, selalu melakukan diskusi, menghargai keberagaman, melaksanakan piket kebersihan, sikap kritis dan kreativitas dan melakukan kerja kelompok untuk membuat produk akhir pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya peran kompetensi sosial guru dalam pembelajaran terlihat dari penanaman nilai-nilai agama dan pancasila dalam pembelajaran sehingga mempersiapkan peserta didik menjawab tantangan nasional saat ini.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan seperangkat kemampuan dan keterampilan individu dalam membaca, menulis, berbicara, menghitung dan memecahkan masalah pada tingkat keahlian tertentu yang diperlukan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Sehingga, Literasi tidak bisa di lepaskan dari kemampuan berbahasa. Berbagai inovasi model pembelajaran dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar literasi anak. Model pembelajaran yang dapat memberikan pengalaman penerapan sekaligus mempelajari suatu kegiatan pembelajaran adalah model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL). Adapun keterampilan Literasi pada siswa MI Maarif yaitu dalam mengerjakan suatu proyek anak dapat menerima penjelasan dari guru dan dapat mengunggkapkan atau menanyakan apa saja yang belum anak pahami. Maka dari itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan model pembelajaran yang menggunakan proyek atau kegiatan sebagai sarana pembelajaran untuk mencapai kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Penekanan pembelajaran terletak pada aktivitas anak untuk memecahkan masalah dengan menerapkan keterampilan membuat, menciptakan, sampai dengan mengkomunikasikan hasil pembelajaran berdasarkan pengalaman yang nyata dan dilakukan oleh anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan pembelajaran PJBL dalam peningkatan keterampilan literasi siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran PJBL untuk meningkatan keterampilan siswa sudah dilakukan dengan cukup baik.
