Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh kompensasi dan motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan hotel di Jember, serta menguji pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan hotel di Jember. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuisioner. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan hotel di Jember sebanyak 150 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah sampling jenuh. Model analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur (path analyisis). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja (H1 diterima). Motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan kerja (H2 diterima). Kompensasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (H3 diterima). Motivasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (H4 diterima). Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja karyawan (H5 diterima). Kata Kunci: kompensasi, motivasi, kepuasan kerja dan kinerja

Abstract

This paper explores compatible recovery strategies executed by the tourism business owners to survive their businesses due to the undeniable stagnation of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The present study utilizes semi-structured online interviews to explore participants' activities, experiences, and strategies to maintain the tourism business during the COVID-19 pandemic. We garnered all data concerning the practical field experiences of participants by distributing google forms and collected further information from communication via telephone and WhatsApp. The research results showcased three strategies for the tourism business survival: improving hygiene and health standards, intensifying promotion, and operational cost control. Practically, this research will benefit tourism businesses to be more resilient in uncertain conditions in the future. The current study also contributes to the authority to resolve relevant policies incorporated with economic recovery related to the crisis due to the pandemic.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas akan terpuaskan jika kepuasan kerja sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja dapat tercipta dengan sempurna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel lingkungan kerja dan kepemimpinan terhadap prestasi kerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel perantara. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sensus atau mempekerjakan seluruh populasi yaitu 88 staf hotel Jember dan 43 responden dengan metode analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan pada Hotel 88 Diponegoro Jember; (2) Kepemimpinan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel 88 Diponegoro Jember; (3) Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Hotel 88 Diponegoro Jember; (4) lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel 88 Diponegoro Jember; (5) Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan pada Hotel 88 Diponegoro Jember; (6) Kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja, ditambah kinerja karyawan melalui kepuasan kerja karyawan di Hotel 88 Diponegoro Jember.

Abstract

Tuntutan kepuasan pengguna jasa terhadap produk dan pelayanan jasa (product and service satisfaction) yang ditawarkan oleh suatu produsen saat ini semakin tinggi dan kompleks. Persoalan ini ditambah lagi dengan adanya tingkat persaingan yang semakin tajam antar sesama produsen yang menawarkan produk yang bersifat homogen (sejenis). Kedua faktor ini menuntut suatu perusahaan untuk selalu meningkatkan kualitas layanannya for to be a winner (menjadi pemenang). Kunci keberhasilan hotel sangat bergantung pada pelayanan yang diberikan karyawan kepada tamunya. Pelayanan yang secara langsung merupakan product delivery hotel dilakukan oleh karyawan garis depan (frontline) yang terdiri atas karyawan Front Office, Housekeeping Dan Food Beverage Service. Tahapan kegiatannya adalah Penentuan objek penelitian yang terdiri dari hotel berbintang dan konsumennya, pemilihan hotel berbintang didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa tamu yang meninap di hotel berbintang lebih komplek dan bervariasi baik asal wisatawan, pendidikan, pekerjaan dan karakteristik lainnya dibanding dengan hotel non bintang. Setelah itu pengambilan sampel untuk tabulasi data yang akan di analisa secara deskriptif dalam rangka menemukan persepsi wisatawan terhadap questionable job-related behavior Frontline hotel. Tahap berikutnya adalah penyusunan laporan akhir berdasarkan  hasil analisis data dalam rangka pembuatan artikel ilmiah dan publikasi ilmiah. Hasil penyusunan kedua output atau luaran tersebut selanjutnya dikirim ke pihak-pihak berwenang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the right marketing strategy to increase the room occupancy rate during the pandemic. The population of this study were employees at the Bintang Mulia hotel with a proportional random sampling of 44 respondents. Structured interviews with hotel managers and associations. The research analysis method uses SWOT analysis. The results of the study stated that the position of the Bintang Mulia hotel was in Quadrant I, this was based on the results of the IFAS and EFAS analysis. The strategy that can be applied is an aggressive growth policy (growth-oriented strategy, while alternative strategies include: First, implementing an online booking system which is expected to provide convenience for guests. Second, getting used to the application of health protocols that guests are expected to feel safe. Third, maintaining and improve the quality of its services, improvement efforts can be made through assessments from visitors through feedback in the form of ratings and reviews on travel agent applications. Fourth, collaborate with genpi, influencers, and the government.

Abstract

This research aims to overcome the problem of Empowerment and Inmprovement of  Family Welfare for Couples with Disabilities Aura Lentera Banyuwangi. The purpose of this research is to overcome the problems of Partner Problems, namely there is still no continuity of empowerment programs carried out by the government for family couples with disabilities. Generally, training is only for persons who are still in their teens or in school. Some Based on these data, other problems can be identified as follows: 1. Many women and wives with disabilities become the main support for the family and help their husbands who have disabilities; 2. There are several couples, in general there are dominant partners who both have limitations as persons with disabilities, both husband and wife; 3. There is still a lack of Family Economic empowerment programs for people with visual impairments and other disabilities for people who are already married; 4. Lack of Accessibility Welfare Program for families with visual impairments and people with other visual impairments is still rare; 5. Pro-disability government policy programs. However, this information has not yet arrived or has not been reached by persons with disabilities; 6. Problems with limitations in improving the economy and family welfare of spouses with disabilities; 7. Government programs that have been made for all components of society are not yet accessible, especially for vulnerable groups, especially people with disabilities, both visually impaired and other handicapped; 8. Accessibility of information on economic empowerment and education is still not easily accessible to persons with disabilities, especially the visually impaired; 9. There is no family economic empowerment starting from family spiritual development; 10. Education is still rare in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health with healthy and halal eating patterns; 11. There has been no special socialization for groups of people with families who are already married to exercise regularly to be healthy and avoid various kinds of diseases; 12. Training is still rare in accordance with the limitations and competencies possessed by persons with disabilities, both visually impaired and other handicapped. Just a little like massage training. Forms of business skills to increase household income, such as home industry business skills to date are making cakes, and salted eggs. As well as some visually impaired persons who have vocal abilities and are members of the Al Mumtaz MSME arts community, which have not been accommodated in a sustainable manner. The solutions offered are 1. By holding a socialization of government programs for the disabled, inviting BLK and Welfare of the Banyuwangi Regency Government to share discussions; 2. Family economic empowerment, family spiritual development, self-actualization motivation in the fields of education, health, economy; 3. Socialization of healthy living, healthy and halal eating patterns; 4. Community motivation; 5. Accessibility of information on empowerment programs The output targets to be achieved are increased understanding of training participants, increased accessibility of Banyuwangi district government programs and hopes for improving the welfare of families with persons with disabilities; publication of online media and print media, compiling articles related to service in the form of national journals, photos and videos of activity documentation.Keywords: Empowerment; Accessibility; Women's Welfare; Government Program; Aura Lantern

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan penurutan pada sektor pariwisata. Salah satu sektor yang juga terdampak oleh Covid-19 pada sektor pariwisata adalah hotel. Hotel 88 Jember adalah salah satu hotel yang merasakan dampak dari pandemi Covid-19. Pada awal pandemi, yaitu pada Bulan Maret 2020 tingkat hunian di Hotel 88 Jember hanya mencapai 50%. Untuk meningkatkan penjualan kamar di Hotel 88 Jember maka perlu peran dari petugas reservasi kamar. Petugas reservasi di Hotel 88 Jember adalah bagian dari front desk agent.  Pada penelitian ini, teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah terknik deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah selain bertugas dalam penanganan seistem reservasi kamar, petugas reservasi di Hotel 88 Jember berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan penjualan kamar, yaitu dengan melakukan Upselling secara terus menerus.

Abstract

The growth of the tourism sector has spurred various regions to compete to bring out tourism in their respective regions. Sidomulyo Village, Silo District, Jember Regency is a tourist village managed by the village community by optimizing its potential in the form of: natural tourism objects including Sendang Tirto Gumitir, a very clear and cool spring, the Pinus Raya Forest, all of which are still preserved, in this study focused on the development of sustainable tourism villages. This study aims to 1). Looking for alternative forms and approaches for rural tourism as an effort to realize sustainable tourism development, 2) Formulate a tourism management model that is socially, economically, and culturally sound for local communities in facing the era of globalization in the future. The data analysis used was descriptive and SWOT with a total sample of 18 community respondents, and 50 tourist respondents. The results showed (1) tourism potential; gaining the support of village regulations and policies; gaining the support of the community's acceptance and openness to tourists; the existence of a vision and mission; as well as public awareness of the importance of developing tourism potential, (2) tourism management is still very simple; lack of facilities, infrastructure and accessibility; limited number and quality of managers; lack of stakeholder engagement; as well as limited promotional activities, (3) government support for tourism development as an alternative to sustainable development in Jember Regency; the presence of special interest tourism development; tourist satisfaction and the desire to return to enjoy tourism in Jember is high; business diversification and increasing people's income; as well as support for technological developments, (4) the existence of illegal mines (dredging gumuk); the behavior of visitors/tourists who do not pay enough attention to environmental ethics; weak carrying capacity especially at the height of the holidays; public perception of the economic benefits of tourist villages; as well as competition between tourism objects, (5) The Potential Development of Sidomulyo Jember Tourism Village should establish a concentration strategy through horizontal integration or stability. Abstract

The growth of the Islamic economic sector, including sharia tourism has spurred the management of sharia-based businesses becoming increasingly. Specifically in the tourism sector, it certainly cannot be separated from the accommodation business or in this study the focus is on the hotel business. This study aims to determine the potential and urgency of developing sharia-based hospitality in the city of Jember, knowing the perception of the public and tourists of the potential for the development of sharia-based hospitality. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and SWOT with a sample of 110 community respondents, and 150 tourist respondents. The results showed (1) tourists have a good perception of the development of sharia-based hotels, (2) people have a pretty good perception of the value of sharia-based hotel development, (3) the potential of the City of Jember so that it can be used as reference material for the development of sharia-based hotels including the majority of the Muslim population, community awareness and lifestyle that supports the development of sharia- hotels.
