Abstract

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) business group is the most able to withstandketikakrisis economic hit this country. The increase in the number of units the SMElapangankerja open so that plays an important role in the economic and industrial growthof a country. Limitations of SMES in increasing competitiveness among others lackcreativity and innovation as well as pemodalan and markets. This research aims to knowthe factors that affect the performance of SMES in the town of Pasuruan, in terms ofentrepreneurial role and competencies of human resources. The role of self-employment isseen from some of the factors that is innovative, proactive and risk management, while thehuman resource competency as seen from the factors of knowledge, skills and abilities.Analytical techniques used is multiple regression analysis. Sampling in this study using apurposive sampling method, in which SMES are being sampled is the SME food field in thetown of Pasuruan. The results showed that of the entrepreneurial role of factors thatinfluence positively and significantly to the performance of SMES in the field of food anddrink in the town of Pasuruan is innovative and proactive, where innovative is theinfluential most dominant variable with regression coefficients of 0372. HR competencefactor variables from the perpetrator of the SMES that positive and significant effect amongother skills, abilities and knowledge, where skill is the dominant effect variables withcoefficients of the regression of 0318.Keywords :  Role Of Smes, Entrepreneurship, HR Competencies

Abstract

Peranan sektor swasta di negara berkembang seperti Indonesia mengalami peningkatan di era globalisasi. Hal ini merupakan dampak adanya globalisasi perdagangan. Sektor swasta yang berperan penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia adalah usaha kecil dan menengah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor eksternal (aspek kebijakan pemerintah, sosial ekonomi dan peranan lembaga terkait) dan faktor internal (aspek sumber daya manusia, keuangan, operasional dan pemasaran) terhadap kinerja UMKM Kota Pasuruan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah UMKM makanan dan minuman, industri mebel dan industri logam sejumlah 150 sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier berganda dengan metode stepwise. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja umkm di Kota Pasuruan dipengaruhi oleh aspek pemasaran dan keuangan dari faktor internal serta kebijakan pemerintah dari faktor eksternal. Kinerja umkm Kota Pasuruan dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga hal tersebut sebesar 18.1% sedangkan 81.9% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain yang tidak dilibatkan dalam model. Aspek keuangan merupakan pengaruh dominan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.003 dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0.239 sedangkan aspek kebijakan pemerintah mempunyai nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.003 dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0.232. Untuk aspek pemasaran berpengaruh terhadap kinerja umkm Kota Pasuruan dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.018 dan koefisien regresi sebesar 0.190. Kata Kunci : faktor eksternal, faktor internal, kinerja, umkm, regresi linier berganda

Abstract

Human Development Index is a measure of human development achievement based on the appropriate dimensions of health, education, and living. Papua is located in eastern Indonesia consisting of 2 provinces of Papua and west Papua. This study conducted a research about modeling of district/city of human development index value using binary logistic regression model, estimation of model parameters using maximum likelihood method. The data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the central statistical agencies of Papua and West Papua provinces. This study involved several factors that predicted to be affected the Human Development Index of district/city in both provinces, namely PDRB/capita, sex ratio, population density, population growth rate and number of mobile health centers. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be seen that the independent variables that significantly influence the value of Human Development Index of district/city in Papua 2014 is income/capita with the probability value of 0.003 and the population of mobile health centers with the probability of 0.034

Abstract

Education is the most important thing in a person’s life. Formal education is the learning process held by a particular educational institution, starting from the elementary, secondary, and higher education. To produce well-qualified college graduates, good teaching and learning process is needed. Determination of learning achievement in Higher Education is in the form of score of test results and observation conducted by the lecturer. The competence of college graduates cannot be seen only from the GPA and study duration, but also the ability of foreign language such as English. This study aims to determine the relationship between student achievement and English proficiency with study duration. Sampling techniques is done randomly. Statistical analysis used for this study was Pearson correlation analysis and testing the hypothesis by using Z-test. The result of the analysis indicates that there is a significant relationship statistically between student achievement and graduates’ study duration of Merdeka University Pasuruan that is the correlation coefficient obtained was –0.515. It means that the better (higher) of students’ achievement the faster the length of study will be, and the lower the students’ achievement then the longer the duration of the study period will be. For the relationship between the students’ abilities of foreign language with the duration of study, obtained correlation coefficient of 0.102, but the relationship formed insignificant statistically.

Abstract

Pengaruh kepuasan pengunjung dalam penelitian ini adalah unsur-unsur marketing mix yang terdiri dari product, price, promotion, place, people, process dan physical evidence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh marketing mix terhadap kepuasan pengunjung tempat wisata Beejay Bakau Resort (BJBR) Kota Probolinggo. pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling, dengan sampel 70 responden dari 700 populasi selama 7 hari. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji stepwise. Hasil dari pengujian dapat dilihat kepuasan pengunjung dipengaruhi oleh variabel price (X2) dan variabel process (X6). Setiap kenaikan peran price sebesar 0.446 dan kenaikan peran process sebesar 0,687 maka Kepuasan Pengunjung (Y) mengalami kenaikan satu satuan. Hasil dari Fhitung sebesar 12,030 dan signifikansi sebesar 0,000 0,05 maka, Marketing mix (product, price, promotion, place, people, process, dan  physical evidence) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. Hasil dari uji determinasi menyatakan bahwa kepuasan pengunjung dapat dijelaskan oleh product, price, promotion, place, people, process dan physical evidence sebesar 52,8%.

Abstract

Kota Pasuruan merupakan salah satu kota yang memberikan kontribusi cukup terhadap perekonomian Provinsi Jawa Timur, yaitu dalam bidang usaha mikro. Jumlah usaha yang semakin bertambah namun tidak didukung dengan peningkatan daya beli masyarakat menjadi salah satu penyebab ketidakstabilan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Dalam hal ini peneliti ingin mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh orientasi wirausaha dan orientasi pasar terhadap produktivitas melalui kinerja usaha mikro di Kota Pasuruan. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, dimana objek penelitian adalah usaha mikro yang bergerak di bidang makanan sejumlah 50 unit. Untuk analisis data digunakan analisis jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diketahui orientasi pasar mempunyai pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 0.736 dan terhadap produktivitas dengan kontribusi sebesar 0.391, sedangkan orientasi wirausaha tidak berpengaruh signifikan baik terhadap kinerja maupun produktivitas usaha mikro di Kota Pasuruan. Secara tidak langsung orientasi pasar juga berpengaruh signifikan dan postif terhadap produktivitas melalui kinerja usaha mikro di Kota Pasuruan.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) terhadap masyarakat yang tergabung dalam anggota Kawasan Rumah Pangan Lestari (KRPL) Setia Abadi Kelurahan Krapyakrejo, Kecamatan Gadingrejo, Pasuruan dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dalam melakukan praktek tanam hidroponik di lingkungan sekitar. Mitra sasaran sangat antusias untuk melakukan penanaman sistem hidroponik, namun belum mengetahui teknik tanam hidroponik secara detil. Kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terutama dalam segi ekonomi. Metode yang diterapkan yakni melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan mitra, perancangan sistem dan instalasi hidroponik, pembuatan instalasi hidroponik, instalasi hidroponik di uji, dan pendampingan operasional. Hasil identifikasi kebutuhan mitra yang diperoleh dari pengisian kuisioner menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat Kelurahan Krapyakrejo belum mengetahui sistem budidaya hidroponik. Sebagian besar masyarakat menanam tanaman hias seperti aglonema, sirih gading, calathea dan janda bolong. Sebagian kecil masyarakat menanam tanaman pangan seperti cabai dan sawi. Rata-rata masyarakat menanam dengan media tanah baik secara langsung maupun pada pot. Perancangan dan pembuatan instalasi hidroponik dilakukan dengan pertimbangan kemampuan mitra yakni instalasi minimalis ukuran 24 lubang tanam. Tahap uji coba penggunaan instalasi dilakukan dengan pengarahan cara perawatan instalasi. Pendampingan operasional tidak hanya dengan pemaparan materi (teoritis), tetapi juga praktek/demonstrasi semai hingga pindah tanam.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide provisions to women, especially housewives, through training in the skills of making patchwork dolls. With these skills, it is hoped that women can be empowered by utilizing their existing potential. This community service was carried out in Kelurahan Sekargadung, Kecamatan Purworejo, Kota Pasuruan. The training participants are housewives who live in Kelurahan Sekargadung. The method of this activity consists of preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of this training show that: 1) participants have the motivation to take part in the training, this can be seen in the percentage of attendance of  90%. The second benefit of this activity is 2) participants understand that patchwork has a sale value when it is processed and created. This can be seen from the evaluation results regarding the understanding of the manufacturing process, tools and materials for dolls made of patchwork. In addition, 3) participants have the knowledge and skills to make dolls from patchwork and minimize waste from patchwork. Based on this training activity, it can be concluded that making patchwork dolls can be used as one of the activities for empowering women in Kelurahan Sekargadun, Kecamatan Purworejo, Kota Pasuruan.

Abstract

The Inspectorate of Pasuruan City in carrying out its function required good performance management to support the implementation of development in Pasuruan area. Many factors affect employee performance such as locus of control and task complexity. This research aims to determine the influence of locus of control and the complexity of the task to the performance of employees (study at the Office of Inspectorate Pasuruan City). The samples used were the entire population of the staff in Pasuruan's Inspectorate of 33 employees using census techniques. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis used in this study is a double linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the study obtained locus of control and the complexity of the task simultaneously affect the performance of employees evidenced by the value of Fcount 18.592. A partial locus of control affects the performance of employees evidenced by the value of Thitung 3.306 and the complexity of the task affects the performance of employees evidenced by the value of Thitung 2.901. Its adjustable R Square number indicates that 52.4% of employee performance variables can be explained by the locus of control variables and task complexity in the regression equation, while the remainder of 47.6% is described by other variables outside the variables used in this study. The better the locus of control and the complexity of the task then the better the employee performance.

Abstract

Human resources are in important element to the company, failure to manage human resources can hamper company goals. To get good employee performance, PT. Boma Bisma Indra at Pasuruan district would have to make a lot of effort to improve employee performance. Among other things, improving the relationships between employees is the social capital relationship. This study aimed to find out the effect of the structural social capital, cognitive social capital and relational social capital on employee performance in PT. Boma Bisma Indra at Pasuruan district. This study, using quantitative research methods and 78 respondents take samples. Data collection techniques carried out through library research, observation, interviews and questionnaires. The results showed that there was a contribution of the independent variable to the dependent variable of 75% with the results of the calculated f test suggests that the structural social capital, cognitive social capital and relational social capital have significant on employee performance with significant 0,000. The test t showed that structural social capital have significant on employee performance with significant 0,001. Cognitive social capital have significant on employee performance with significant 0,013. Relational social capital significant on employee performance with significant 0,001.
