Abstract

Learning undertaken to achieve the educational goals and objectives of national development in general. To achieve the goal of education is carried out of learning by using learning models. The learning model should be involving the students actively in the teaching and learning activities, in order to improve learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is determine the learning outcomes of students with cooperative learning model type NHT (Numbered Head Together) using a series of waste detergents on the material energy. The method used in this research is experimental research method. Population is this research is as many 198 students of class X IPA which consists of 6 classes. While the sample as many 32 students of class X IPA 5. Based on the results of research in the analysis using the t test showed tcount = 4,03 with the ttable=1,9954 on the significant level of 5%. Because tcount > ttable then it can be concluded that there is an increase student learning outcomes using cooperative learning model type of NHT (Numbered Head Together) on as series of waste detergents on the material energi in the class X IPA 5 SMA Negeri 3 Langsa. Abstract

Energi listrik merupakan salah satu kebutuhan manusia yang sering digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun, pembangkit listrik yang digunakan masih secara konvensial yaitu menggunakan bahan bakar fosil, minyak gas atau batu bara yang kian lama semakin menipis, sedangkan kebutuhan listrik semakin meningkat. Pembuatan alat peraga kapal tenaga surya (KTS) sebagai media konversi energi adalah salah satu penelitian sebagai media contoh pemanfaatan energi panas matahari menjadi energi listrik. penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan jenis pendekatan R&D. Hasil dari validasi media oleh validator tentang rancangan alat peraga kapal tenaga surya sebagai media konversi melihat kelayakan secara persentase sebesar 75% sehingga alat peraga kapal tenaga surya sebagai media konversi energi layak digunakan. Dari hasil data uji panel selama 5 jam yang diamati secara berkala menghasilkan efisensi sebesar 82%pada saat penggunaan 1 jam, 85% pada saat penggunaan 2 jam, 74% pada saat penggunaan 3 jam, 58% pada saat penggunaan 4 jam dan 56% pada saat penggunaan selama 5 jam. Sehingga efisiensi total yang dikerjakan panel surya yang di dapat sebesar 71% dan kapal bergerak dengan baik. Tegangan, arus, daya listrik dan Efisiensi kapal yang dihasilkan dipengaruhi oleh besar kecilnya suhu dari panas matahari, jika suhu panas matahari tinggi maka efisiensi yang dihasilkan tinggi begitu juga sebaliknya.

Abstract

Perkembangan dunia elektronika sekarang ini semakin pesat. Semakin berkembangnya zaman, banyak sekali berbagai komponen-komponen yang berkembang dari segi efisiensi, fungsi, manfaat maupun fisiknya. Dalam hal ini perlu dilakukan suatu penelitian untuk mempermudah mengambil data berupa waktu benda pada saat jatuh dengan lebih akurat untuk praktikum gerak jatuh bebas dengan tujuan untuk: (1) mempermudah mengambil data berupa waktu benda pada saat jatuh dengan lebih akurat, (2) membaca nilai kecepatan benda pada saat jatuh bebas secara otomatis. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu eksperimen yang terdiri dari tiga blok sistem yaitu input, proses, dan output. Hasil validasi media didaptkan sebesar 80% berkualitas baik yang berarti bahwa alat sudah layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran/praktikumgerak jatuh bebas. Dari data didapatkan sensor piximity infrared dapat langsung membaca waktu saat benda jatuh melewati sensor1 dan akan berhenti di sensor2, dan waktu yang dihasilkan sudah dapat dikatakan akurat karena nilai waktu yang dibaca oleh sensor dan nilai waktu dihitung secara manual sama dan jika tidak sama nilainya sudah mendekati nilai menghitung secara manual. Waktu yang diperlukan benda saat jatuh bebas pada ketinggian 45 cm dengan t = t Arduino ± t manual (0,3 ± 0,3), ketinggian 55 cm dengan t = (0,32 ± 0,33), ketinggian 65 cm dengan t = (0,35 ± 0,36), ketinggian 75 cm dengan t = (0,38 ± 0,39), ketinggian 85 cm dengan t = (0,40 ± 0,41). Dengan menggunakan sensor dan LCD dapat langsung menampilkan nilai kecepatan tanpa harus mencari secara manual. Dan nilai yang ditampilkan di LCD sama hasilnya dengan dicari secara manual, jika nilai t yang didaptkan sebalumnya antara Arduino dan manual sama.

Abstract

Pendekatan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah pendekatan langsung dan pendekatan kelompok. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen, sesuai dengan tujuan dari penelitian penulis untuk dapat mengetahui hasil pembelajaran fisika dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI dan melihat perbedaan antara penerapan model pembelajaran tipe TAI dengan pembelajaran langsung. Data ini digunakan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen terhadap materi suhu dan kalor. Ada pengaruh hasil belajar siswa pada materi yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI lebih baik dari pada hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajarn langsung. Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TAI pada kelas eksperimen adalah baik. Ini terlihat pada persentase yang telah dirincikan yaitu pendapat siswa terhadap komponen pembelajaran 91,63% senang, 93,3% baru, 93,3% menarik dan berminat untuk mengikuti KBM selanjutnya dengan model kooperatif tipe TAI 94,4%. Kata kunci: TAI, kooperatif, fisika, eksperimen.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability of junior high school students to read poetry with active, creative and fun learning methods. This research is a classroom action research. The research subjects were the eighth grade students in the even semester of the 13 Langsa State High School, totaling 29 students. The object in this study is the application of active, creative and fun learning methods. Tools in collecting data are observation, observation, and assignment with cycle paths, namely cycle I and cycle II. This is indicated. The average score in the first cycle was 53.6 with completeness of 24.13%. In the next (second) cycle there was an increase of 78.9 with completeness of 86.2%. By increasing student learning activities in the cycles of actions taken. Thus, the results in cycle II can be said to have fulfilled the value of completeness. Application of active, creative and fun learning methods in improving students' skills in reading poetry at Langsa 13 Junior High School. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of active, creative and fun learning methods can improve student learning outcomes in learning to read poetry.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Develop a compilation of Aceh folklore containing 4C based on the Flipbook Maker application (2) Describe the feasibility of developing a compilation of Aceh folk tales containing 4C based on the Flipbook Maker application. The method in this research is research and development. Research location at SMPN Langsa City. The steps in this research are (1) Seeing Potentials and Problems with Needs Analysis (2) Data Collection (3) Product Design (4) Product Validation (5) Product Revision (6) Product Feasibility Test (7) Product Revision II. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data Analysis Techniques by describing a questionnaire containing a Likert scale and the percentage of product feasibility tests. Based on the results of the study, the following research results were obtained: 1. The results of the validation of material experts in the development of a compilation of Aceh folk tales containing 4C based on the Flipbook Maker application for students showed that the feasibility of the content was obtained with an average score of 86% with very good criteria. 2. The validation results from design experts on the feasibility of the design in the development of a compilation of Aceh folklore containing 4C based on the Flipbook Maker application scored 87% with the criteria of "very good". Thus, the feasibility of compiling Aceh folklore containing 4C based on the Flipbook Maker application developed can be used by students.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the interests and perceptions of mathematics education students in Langsa City towards distance learning, then the next is to study and analyze their communication patterns in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in the study was an online survey of 114 mathematics education students from two different universities located in Langsa City, Aceh Province, Indonesia. Survey material contains questions and statements related to interests, perceptions, and communication patterns as the main problems in this study. With all the supports and obstacles, student interest in online learning is very low, 84.21% of respondents are not interested. Then, most of them find it difficult to concentrate while following the lesson. Boredom and difficulty finding relevant learning resources are also part of students' perceptions of online learning. Most of them (79.95%) find it difficult to learn, although 70.18% can still understand the learning material. Furthermore, the WhatsApp application (with all its features) is the most widely used medium of communication to support learning activities (71.93%), both for questions and discussions (both with lecturers and peers). Virtual meeting application is the second most used media for communication (28.07%). The pattern of communication in learning activities is dominated by communication between students and groups of students with a frequency level of 67.64%. Furthermore, communication is carried out between lecturers and groups of students and between lecturers and individuals with a frequency of 24.52% and 7.84%, respectively. According to the results of this study, we argue that it is necessary to develop an integrated blended learning design equipped with a directed communication pattern.

Abstract

Information and communication technology development continues to proliferate, and teachers must continue to learn using various digital-based learning media. Training on using digital media for teachers will encourage teachers to create digital media needed during classroom learning. Community service (PKM) through digital-based learning media training for teachers at SMPN 1 Rantau Selamat, East Aceh. This activity aims to provide training in making digital-based media, such as digital books (e-books) and digital comics. The training participants were 20 teachers representing each subject area. PKM activity methods are (1) Dissemination of digital media training, (2) Preparation of technology devices, (3) Digital Media Training, and (4) Training Monitoring and Evaluation. As a result of this training activity, participating teachers at SMPN 1 Rantau Selamat have 20 digital-based learning media products, namely e-books or digital comics, for each subject. The teacher will later implement this digital media in learning activities in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year. This PKM program increases teacher competence in developing digital-based learning media.

Abstract

Translation of literacy in english, Indonesian and latin has a strategic position in the biological sciences that must be studied with good quality for students so that the development of science. The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of taxonomy translation in English, Indonesian and Latin with regard to biology education. This research is a quantitative-descriptive research. The test method is used to collect data on the ability to translate in biology education learning by using the google form media provided through the biology student WhatsApp group due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the form of 10 questions with a blend of English, Latin and Indonesian about taxonomy. There are 13 respondents who are ready to answer the test. The test is given for 1 credit which is about 45 minutes as the deadline. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive quantitative which uses three lines of research activities, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification.The results obtained by respondents find it easier to translate test questions in short sentences. The quality of taxonomy translations related to English, Indonesian and Latin have good quality because from the first session, namely translation into the target language English, 4 of the total questions were obtained with the percentage of success by students in translating well above 50%. Likewise for the results of the translation with the target language Indonesian, the respondents managed to answer all questions well with a percentage above 50%. Here it can be seen that, translating into the target language Indonesian is still easier for respondents to produce because all questions are of high value than translating into the target language English.

Abstract

Today the electronic learning has developed because in line with the demands of the that sorely on technology. Assessment is one of the important elements in instructional activities and to support e-learning appear the electronic assessment. This study aims to develop an electronic learning chemistry assesment (Element) digital application through project based learning (PjBL) on the concept of applied chemistry. The research method used is the research and development method. The research subjects for the product trial developed in this study were students of the class of 2019/2020 with a purposive sampling technique with a sample of 24 students. This research instrument uses a needs analysis questionnaire, expert validation before and after revision, student response and small-scale trials. The assessment component contained in the application consists of quiz assignments, practical, product, project and final. The validation results were analyzed using content validity ratio (CVR) analysis and each criterion was then calculated the content validity index (CVI) or average value. The results showed that the Element through PjBL on applied chemistry concepts had been validated by material and media experts with an average CVI of 0.9 or the very valid category. The results of the small-scale test of the electronic-virtual assessment for of learning application for students obtained an average percentage of 93.9% with the criteria of "very interesting". Furthermore, the data on increasing students' scientific performance has increased by 0.70 with a high category and is strong effectively used to improve student scientific performance
