Abstract

Anxiety career is a form of response negative which includes a feeling of fear and concerns about the availability of job opportunities which could deny fulfill the needs is intended to transform the state of a better life. Research aims to understand the decline in anxiety future career in college students after received therapy positive mind, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and manage to live and plan for the future training (MLPF). The study sample this is a student who experienced anxiety career a high degree of as many as 45 college students. The result showed (1) There was a difference in anxiety careers in a college student who has received special treatment cognitive behavior therapy with t = 2,067, sig = 0.048 0.050 and mean = 12 733. (2) There was a difference in anxiety careers in a college student who has received special treatment manage to live and plan for the future training (MLPF) with t = 3,366, sig = 0.002 0.050 and mean = 15,200. (3) There was no difference in anxiety careers in in a college student who has received special treatment positive thinking therapy with t = 1.807, sig = 0.082 0.050 and mean = 6533. (4) Manage to live and plan for the future training (MLPF) was more effective to reduce anxiety careers with a mean difference of 15.200 (MLPF), 12.733 (CBT), and 6.533 (positive thinking therapy).

Abstract

Para pengguna telepon seluler Nokia memiliki keterikatan emosional yang akan mencetuskan tindakan untuk memiliki telepon seluler merek Nokia. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian studi kasus terhadap Mahasiswa Magister Profesi Psikologi Univesitas Airlangga Angkatan III, dengan tiga orang subyek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah konsumen menyukai produk Nokia karena Nokia mampu memenuhi keinginan-keinginan konsumen terhadap sebuah telepon seluler, dan bagi mereka Nokia memiliki desain yang sesuai dengan karakter mereka.

Abstract

Demands from customers can influence the decision of making a preeminent purchase of goods. The high, low interest rates for customers can be seen from purchasing decisions that have to do with the price and the mood of the store. This can influence customers to become interested in an item because it is backed up by an affordable price and the shop atmosphere that correspond to what is sold. This study aims to determine the influence of shop atmosphere and price on purchasing decisions Polo Milano brand at Big Mall Samarinda. The subjects of this study were 120 customers who were selected using simple random sampling technique. The data collection method used is a scale of store atmosphere, price, and purchasing decisions. The collected data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for mac Os program. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant effect of store atmosphere and price on purchasing decisions for visitors to Big Mall Samarinda and customers of the Polo Milano Big Mall Samarinda brand with F count = 38,187 > F table = 3.07 and p value = 0.000 and have the influence contribution (R2) is 3.99%; (2) there is no significant effect of store atmosphere on purchasing decisions for visitors to Big Mall Samarinda and customers of the Polo Milano Big Mall Samarinda brand with a coefficient of beta (β) = 0.116, t count = 1.498 < t table = 1.980, and p = 0.137 (p > 0.05); (3) there is a significant price effect on purchasing decisions for visitors to Big Mall Samarinda and customers of the Polo Milano Big Mall Samarinda brand with a coefficient of beta (β) = 0.578, t count = 7,448 < t table = 1,980, and p = 0.000 (p < 0.05).

Abstract

Tendency limits need to pay attention to the quality of life so that everything is not excessive, a culture of healthy living must continue to be built and implemented, good living habits need to be managed regularly  so that the lifestyle persists for each individual, such as watching excessively and feeling lonely in the life of parasocial interaction. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of excessive viewing and loneliness on parasocial interactions. This research method uses a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 76 students who were students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy. The data collection method used was a Likert scale, namely a scale of excessive viewing, loneliness, and a scale of parasocial interaction. The results of the research show that: (1) there is a significant influence on excessive watching and loneliness on parasocial interactions among students Pharmacy with a calculated F value = 14.197; (2) there is a negative and significant influence effect of excessive watching on parasocial interactions with beta coefficient (β) = -0.116, t = -0.976; (3) there is a positive and significant influence of loneliness on parasocial interactions with a beta coefficient (β) = 0.612, t = 5.162.

Abstract

Sifat menarik seseorang dapat mempengaruhi respons yang diterima dari masyarakat. Individu yang memiliki penampilan menarik akan mendapatkan respons positif, dan sebaliknya. Kondisi ini mendorong individu untuk lebih memperhatikan citra tubuh mereka, yang sering kali menjadi sumber kecemasan, terutama pada remaja. Pada masa remaja, perubahan fisik yang signifikan sering kali menimbulkan rasa gelisah atau tidak nyaman, sehingga mereka lebih rentan terhadap masalah citra tubuh. Fenomena ini juga dapat memengaruhi individu pada usia dewasa muda, termasuk mahasiswa, yang menghadapi tekanan sosial terkait penampilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh self-compassion dan perbandingan sosial terhadap citra tubuh. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 91 mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Bisnis, Universitas Mulawarman, angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala tipe Likert dengan instrumen pengukuran berupa skala citra tubuh, skala self-compassion, dan skala perbandingan sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara self-compassion dan perbandingan sosial terhadap citra tubuh dengan nilai F hitung = 95,862 > F tabel 3,10 dan p=0,000 serta kontribusi pengaruh (R²) sebesar 68,5%; (2) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self-compassion terhadap citra tubuh dengan koefisien beta (β) = 0,826, t = 5,391 > t tabel 1,987, dan p=0,000 (p<0,05); (3) terdapat pengaruh negatif dan signifikan antara perbandingan sosial dan citra tubuh dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) =-0,718, t=-6,661 > t tabel 1,987, dan p=0,000 (p<0,05).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job satisfaction on the productivity of field workers at PT X. The decline in the level of job satisfaction among field workers is the main focus because of its potential impact on the decline in the company's overall production output. This study applies a quantitative correlational approach to determine the relationship between variables. Sampling was carried out through a purposive sampling method, by setting specific criteria such as a minimum of one year of work experience and direct experience in the company's main projects, resulting in 70 field workers as participants. The data collection instrument used a structured questionnaire that measured the level of job satisfaction and productivity. The results of the linear regression analysis showed a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and work productivity (R² = 0.266, p < 0.001). This finding indicates that the higher the perceived job satisfaction, the higher the individual's performance and work results. Therefore, PT X is advised to develop a comprehensive strategy that includes improving the work environment, providing fair compensation, and career development opportunities to maintain and improve employee job satisfaction, which in turn will encourage optimal productivity. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap produktivitas pekerja lapangan di PT X. Penurunan tingkat kepuasan kerja di kalangan pekerja lapangan menjadi fokus utama karena potensi dampaknya terhadap penurunan output produksi perusahaan secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif korelasional untuk mengetahui hubungan antar variabel. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui metode purposive sampling, dengan menetapkan kriteria spesifik seperti masa kerja minimal satu tahun dan pengalaman langsung dalam proyek-proyek utama perusahaan, menghasilkan 70 pekerja lapangan sebagai partisipan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang mengukur tingkat kepuasan dan produktivitas kerja. Hasil analisis regresi linear menunjukkan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dan produktivitas kerja (R² = 0,266, p < 0,001). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan, semakin meningkat pula kinerja dan hasil kerja individu. Oleh karena itu, PT X disarankan mengembangkan strategi komprehensif yang mencakup peningkatan lingkungan kerja, pemberian kompensasi yang adil, serta peluang pengembangan karir guna memelihara dan meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan, yang pada gilirannya akan mendorong produktivitas optimal.

Abstract

Good communication skills within an organization are key to success in achieving goals. One factor that can influence the smoothness of communication within an organization is assertive communication. This study aims to evaluate the impact of assertive communication training on the effectiveness of the Indonesian Islamic Student Movement (PMII) branch in Kutai Kartanegara. The research employs the experimental learning method, which includes Training Need Analysis (TNA), module development, implementation using experiential learning, and evaluation. The assessment is conducted to measure participants' cognitive improvements and their reactions to the training. Assertive communication training for effective organizational communication was conducted for 34 participants in the PMII branch in Kutai Kartanegara. The results indicate cognitive improvement from pre-test to post-test, although statistical significance was not observed with a significance level of (2-tailed) = 0.714 > 0.05. Nevertheless, participants' reactions to the training suggest positive outcomes. The facilitator evaluation graph and training implementation also highlight the positive impact of assertive communication within the organization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri dan kemandirian belajar terhadap motivasi berprestasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 52 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas X yang dipilih dengan menggunakan Teknik  simple random sampling . Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan skala motivasi berprestasi, konsep diri, dan kemandirian belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan konsep diri dan kemandirian belajar terhadap motivasi berprestasi dengan nilai Fhitung = 29,599 > Ftabel = 3,18 dan nilai p = 0,000 serta memiliki kontribusi pengaruh (R 2 ) sebesar 54,7%; (2) tidak terdapat pengaruh signifikan konsep diri terhadap motivasi prestasi dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) = 0,031, thitung = 0,169, dan nilai p = 0,867 (p > 0,05); (3) terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kemandirian belajar terhadap motivasi berprestasi dengan nilai koefisien beta (β) = 0,713, thitung = 3,895, dan nilai p = 0,000 (p < 0,05).

Abstract

A hospital must be able to maintain the work environment to increase worker productivity, which will then affect the achievement of maximum hospital performance. This study aims to determine the relationship between work environment and organizational performance. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. The participants in this study were 75 nurses who worked at Dirgahayu Hospital, Samarinda City. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was correlation. Data were analyzed with the help of the SPSS version 27.0 for Windows program. Based on the results of the research that has been done, there is a linear and positive influence between the variables of organizational performance and the work environment.
