Abstract

Demonstration and discussion methods can stimulate students to be more active in the learning process. The application of demonstration and discussion methods is expected to increase student interest and activity in learning whose purpose is to increase students' understanding of concepts. This research was conducted in the odd semester of 2021/2022.  The research method used is quasi-experimental. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in understanding of concepts between the experimental class and the control class. This is strengthened by the results of the independent sample t-test analysis, namely between the experimental class and the control class obtaining a significance of 0.001 below 0.005, in other words, learning using demonstration and discussion methods affects the understanding of student concepts. Thus, it can also be concluded that the understanding of student concepts can be improved by the application of demonstration and discussion methods.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Fisika Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing terhadap Keterampilan Generik Sains Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekampung Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022 Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA semester genap. Banyaknya siswa kelas XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Sekampung tahun pelajaran 2021/2022 adalah 132 siswa yang terbagi dalam 4 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah 30 siswa dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 27 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan tes keterampilan generik sains. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif. Uji analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji t dengan signifikan α = 0,05 pada keterampilan generik sains sehingga diperoleh 0,000<0,05 yang artinya H0 ditolak. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa Model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa pada materi termodinamika kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekampung tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Hal ini diperoleh dari hasil uji-t pada taraf 5% dengan hasil 0,000 < 0,05 dengan standar deviasi 6,52 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 6,20 untuk kelas kontrol yang berarti pembelajaran fisika berbasis inkuiri terbimbing memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan generik sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Sekampung tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

The need variety  of each individual insists that the people innovate and try new things. Create new activities or jobs by entrepreneurship in oyster mushroom cultivation, help citizens to use their land, provide knowledge about the cultivation of oyster mushrooms. Land use and high motivation are needed when this activity happened. Because the cultivation of oyster mushrooms does not require extensive land. Through this training, it was found that the community needed entrepreneurship training to increase their income which improving their quality of life. Improving the quality of life through oyster mushroom cultivation held in the Tempuran area, especially housewives, received a positive response. It can be a medium for mutual learning, the way to communicate in increasing insight and to change the paradigm that they can do nothing to be sure that they can do such activities and even provide healthy food for the family.

Abstract

Abstract: Scientific work can be used by teachers as a facility for communicating new information, ideas, studies, and research results to the general public. The preparation of scientific papers is very meaningful for the professional development of teachers, but in reality, the culture of writing scientific papers among teachers is still low. Meanwhile, the teacher can write scientific papers based on the implementation of the teacher's creativity and criticality in the daily activities that are observed and experienced in creating a better quality of education to achieve maximum learning results. This program aims to conduct training in the preparation of scientific papers in this matter scientific postings for teachers of SMA Kartikatama Metro. This program is carried out using a classical approach which is tried by giving lectures and delivering modules and individual approaches are tried when accompanying participants in writing scientific papers. Achievement of the target number of participants as well as the objectives of this training can be assessed as good. Within 2 weeks as many as 3 teachers have tried to write scientific posts. All the modules that have been planned can be informed to the participants, even though there are many time constraints there are some modules that are informed in an outline. The expertise of the participants can be seen from the ability to compose scientific papers that can be considered good.Keywords: scientific work; teacher; training. Abstrak: Karya ilmiah dapat digunakan guru sebagai fasilitas mengomunikasikan informasi baru, gagasan, kajian, serta hasil riset kepada khalayak umum. Penyusunan karya ilmiah sangat berarti untuk pengembangan keprofesionalan guru, tetapi pada kenyataannya budaya menulis karya ilmiah di kalangan guru masih rendah. Sementara itu guru bisa menulis karya ilmiah bersumber pada implementasi kreatifitas serta kekritisan guru terhadap kegiatan tiap hari yang diamati serta dialaminya dalam menciptakan mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik sehingga menggapai hasil belajar yang maksimal. Tujuan program ini merupakan melakukan pelatihan penyusunan karya tulis ilmiah dalam perihal ini postingan ilmiah untuk guru SMA Kartikatama Metro. Program ini dilaksanakan memakai pendekatan klasikal yang dicoba dengan membagikan ceramah serta penyampaian modul serta pendekatan individual dicoba pada saat mendampingi peserta dalam menulis karya ilmiah. Ketercapaian sasaran jumlah partisipan serta tujuan pelatihan ini bisa dinilai baik. Dalam kurun waktu 2 pekan sebanyak 3 orang guru sudah berupaya menulis postingan ilmiah. Seluruh modul yang sudah direncanakan bisa di informasikan kepada paserta, walaupun terdapat banyak keterbatasan waktu terdapat sebagian modul yang  di informasikan secara garis besar. Keahlian paserta dilihat dari kemampuan menyusun karya ilmiah yang dapat dinilai baik.Kata kunci: guru; karya ilmiah; pelatihan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP PGRI 2 Sekampung yang meliputi faktor dari dalam diri siswa (intern) dan faktor dari luar diri siswa (ekstern). Hasil observasi yaitu hasil belajar siswa belum maksimal merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat menunjukan bahwa siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal. Studi Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, sebab peneliti berusaha mengidentifikasi faktor penyebab kesulitan menyelesaikan soal fisika siswa. Teknik pengumpul data dalam penelitian yang peneliti gunakan yaitu tes, observasi. angket (kuesioner), dan wawancara. Setelah data didapatkan, kemudian dianalisis dengan metode triangulasi dan dijabarkan berdasarkan aspek yang diteliti. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: Kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika terdapat pada empat tahapan. Tahap yang pertama (tahap pemecahan soal) bentuk kesulitan yang dialami siswa adalah ketidaktepatan dalam mengkonversikan satuan dengan persentase 40,9%. Tahap kedua (tahap pemikiran suatu rencana) bentuk kesulitan yang dialami siswa adalah ketidaktepatan dalam menuliskan rumus yang di gunakan dengan persentase 27,2%. Tahap ketiga (pelaksanaan rencana) bentuk kesulitan yang dialami siswa adalah ketidakmampuan dalam melakukan perhitungan hingga mendapatkan hasil akhir dengan persentase 131%. Tahap empat (menuliskan satuan) bentuk kesulitan yang dialami siswa adalah ketidaktepatan dalam menuliskan satuan pada besaran dengan presentase 13,6%.

Abstract

The number of internet users in Indonesia continues to increase every year, but the increase in the number of social media users is not accompanied by an increase in people's ability to choose and utilize information safely. Online entrepreneurship has many benefits as it can be done from the comfort of their own home and does not require large capital. The mentoring approach is carried out in two stages. First, a direct inspection was carried out of the participants and the location of the activity. It also covers issues related to participant understanding and other needs. For the second stage, materials must be distributed at the location. Implementation in the field also includes presentations and questions and answers about the material. As a result of this community service activity, PKK mothers will be more adept at using the internet and social media. PKK mothers have learned to use the internet and social media to increase productivity. The field of knowledge will help improve education and culture by providing broader insight and experience about the outside world.

Abstract

Speaking skills are essential language competencies that must be developed at the elementary school level because they support students’ ability to express ideas and communicate orally. Preliminary observations in the third grade of SD Negeri 2 Sanggar Buana showed that students’ speaking skills were still low, particularly in pronunciation, intonation, word accuracy, sentence organization, and fluency. This study aimed to improve students’ speaking skills through the implementation of the Show and Tell method. This research employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles involving 12 third-grade students. Data were collected through observation using a speaking skills assessment rubric and analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that students’ speaking mastery increased from 25% in Cycle I to 89% in Cycle II. Improvements occurred across all speaking indicators. Therefore, the Show and Tell method is effective in improving elementary school students’ speaking skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in mathematics subjects of grade II at UPTD SDN 1 Tanjung Inten, especially in addition and subtraction materials, which is indicated by the majority of students not reaching the Learning Objective Completion Criteria (KKTP). The purpose of the research is to improve students' learning outcomes in mathematics subjects on addition and subtraction materials through the use of picture game media. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects are 12 grade II students. Data collection techniques include learning outcome tests, student observation, and documentation. Data are analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the use of picture media can improve students' learning outcomes. This is indicated by an increase in the percentage of learning completion from cycle I by 58.3%, increasing to 81.1% in cycle II. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of image media can improve learning outcomes in mathematics subjects on addition and subtraction for class II students at UPTD SDN 1 Tanjung Inten by 22.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine influence addition Zr against the crystal structure and dielectric constant; and to know the influence of variations temperature sintering on addition mole Zr. Barium Zirconium Titanate (BaZrxTi1-xO3) have been made with variation zirconium (Zr) 1%, 5%, 10%, and 20% by solid state reaction method, that is blanded BaTiO3, TiO2 and ZrO2 powder. BaZrxTi1-xO3 powder is printed with die pressing and press hidrolik, then the samples were sintered by furnace at 900oC and 1000oC with holding time 2 hours. Characterization of samples use X-Ray Diffraction and Resistance Capacitance Inductance (RCL meter). Based on result obtained, the larger Zr content cause dielectric constant decreasing because crystal structure have been change from tetragonal (Zr = 1% and 5%) to cubic (Zr = 10% and 20%). The result from X-Ray Diffraction already match with data base ICDD no#360019. Measurement of dielectric constant (K) performed in the frequency range 1 kHz to 100 kHz and the highest value at Zr content 1%, because The dielectric constant decreasing with the larger Zr content. The maximum dielectric constant is obtained at mol Zr 5% and sintering temperature 1000oC, that is 150. The minimum dielectric constant is obtained at mol Zr 20% and sintering temperature 900oC, that is 62.
