Abstract

This study aims to examine the extent to which the influence of leadership style (LS), organizational culture (OC), and work environment (WE) on the turnover intention (TI) of employees of PT. Mandala Multifinance. The assumption is that these three variables are one of the factors causing many employees to leave the company. The company cannot ignore these causal factors because they can affect the comfort of employees, which ultimately affects their desire to leave the company. This research involved 115 employees of PT. Mandala Multifinance and tested quantitatively using SPSS version 22. This study's calculated results indicate a partial positive influence on LS and OC variables, while the WE variable does not. Simultaneous calculation results show a positive influence of the three variables on turnover intention. In the competitive landscape of the financial services industry, where employee retention is critical to maintaining service quality and client trust, understanding these factors is essential. High turnover can disrupt client relationships and increase recruitment and training costs, making it imperative for organizations to address leadership, culture, and environmental factors effectively. This study suggests that all companies, particularly in the financial sector, pay attention to these factors for the convenience of employees to reduce turnover intention.

Abstract

The digital economic revolution has changed the global business paradigm by integrating Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in company operations. IoT enables connectivity between devices that generate real-time data, while AI analyzes the data to improve decision-making. The implementation of these technologies improves operational efficiency, reduces human error, and accelerates business cycles. However, challenges such as data security, unequal access to technology, and the need to improve workforce competencies are still major obstacles. In accounting and business management, AI and IoT have accelerated the digitization of financial records, data analysis, and risk management. AI with machine learning algorithms can detect suspicious financial patterns and improve the accuracy of financial predictions, while IoT supports supply chain efficiency and asset management. However, the adoption of these technologies requires substantial financial investment as well as regulatory and company policy readiness. In addition, challenges in cybersecurity and digital skills gaps demand comprehensive mitigation strategies. Therefore, collaboration between companies, educational institutions and the public sector is crucial in ensuring the success of sustainable and ethical digital transformation. With the right strategy, companies can optimize AI and IoT to increase competitiveness in the digital era

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve students' financial literacy at the Special Branch of Muhammadiyah (PCIM) in Saudi Arabia through training in basic financial management and sharia-based investment. The program was held at the PCIM Saudi Arabia Centre (Rumah Buya Hamka), Medina, on November 11, 2025, and involved collaboration among three universities: Muhammadiyah University Makassar, Muhammadiyah University Buton, and Alkhairaat University. The methodological approach used was participatory-educational with interactive lectures, discussions, simulations, and hands-on practice. The activity results showed a significant increase in participants' conceptual understanding and practical skills in budgeting, cash flow management, financial planning, and recognising safe and productive sharia-compliant investment instruments. In addition, this activity strengthened students' ethical awareness and financial responsibility by integrating Islamic values into each training session. This program contributes to strengthening the economic capacity of diaspora students and strengthening collaborative networks across universities and the Muhammadiyah community in Saudi Arabia. Thus, this activity has the potential to serve as a model for community service grounded in adaptive, applicable, and sustainable Islamic financial literacy, relevant for replication among Indonesian student communities in various countries. Abstract

Customer loyalty in local retail is commonly explained by service quality and pricing; however, the indirect statistical pathway through which these factors are associated with loyalty remains underexamined, particularly from an Islamic business ethics perspective. This study examined the relationships among service quality, perceived price fairness, customer satisfaction, and customer loyalty at Star Kitchen, a local retailer in Palu, Indonesia. Using a cross-sectional design, data were collected from 102 repeat customers through a questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-SEM. Service quality was modeled as a reflective–reflective higher-order construct comprising tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Service quality and perceived price fairness were positively associated with customer satisfaction, with perceived price fairness exhibiting the stronger association. Among the significant direct paths, customer satisfaction showed the largest association with loyalty, whereas neither service quality nor perceived price fairness was directly associated with loyalty. Mediation analysis indicated indirect-only mediation through customer satisfaction in both relationships. PLSpredict indicated high out-of-sample predictive performance. Islamic business ethics was not measured directly but was applied as a normative interpretive framework. Accordingly, the findings may be interpreted as consistent with amānah, ṣidq, iḥsān, ʿadl, transparency, and mutual consent, without constituting empirical validation of these principles. The study provides contextual evidence from an ordinary local retail setting and identifies customer satisfaction as the principal indirect statistical pathway linking service and price evaluations to loyalty.
