The research sample consisted of 173 students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, class of 2024 and 2025 who were currently or had been in romantic relationships, and were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through the wounded inner child scale and the romantic relationship quality scale, then analyzed using the Spearman Rank correlation test with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed that wounded inner child has a significant influence with a negative direction on the quality of romantic relationships with a correlation coefficient value of -0.542 and Sig. 0.000 (p <0.05). These results indicate that the higher the level of wounded inner child an individual has, the lower the quality of romantic relationships they experience. Analysis of each aspect of the wounded inner child shows that all aspects have a significant influence on the quality of romantic relationships, the negative belief aspect being the most dominant with a correlation coefficient value of -0.516 and a contribution percentage of 26.63%. In addition, the wounded inner child is related to the emergence of various emotional and behavioral problems in romantic relationships, such as feelings of insecurity, fear of rejection, difficulty trusting partners, and obstacles in building communication and emotional closeness. Abstract

Developments in technology and culture affect a person's attitude and lifestyle. Lifestyle describes the "whole person" who interacts with his environment. One of the trendy lifestyles in demand by various people, including students, is the modern lifestyle. Modern lifestyles influence consumers' consumption decisions because good images will arise if we can follow this lifestyle. Especially in social problems, where to hang out, and style in appearance. So, a person's lifestyle is related to his association and social norms that are carried out in the surrounding environment. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the influence of lifestyle on student association and social norms. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational study. Respondents in this study were male students at a state university in Banten, Indonesia, which consisted of the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Business Economics, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, totaling 115 people. Data collection uses a VALS scale questionnaire (adaptation). The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of lifestyle on association and social norms. A simple lifestyle following the circumstances of the respondents influences associations that do not require a "brand image" or require branded goods in their association. As well as influences social norms as well. If lifestyle changes, then the behavior shown will also affect the social norms that it does.

Abstract

Emotion regulation is an important developmental task for senior high school students, yet a preliminary study at SMAN 1 Ciruas showed that 68.1% of 426 students (from the Student Needs Questionnaire) had not been able to manage their emotions adaptively, and about 112 students had spontaneously used unstructured writing to release negative emotions. This study aimed to describe the level of students' emotion regulation and to examine the effectiveness of group guidance using mindfulness journaling in improving it. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control-group design was used, involving 20 tenth-grade students selected through purposive sampling: 10 in the experimental group, who received six sessions of mindfulness-journaling-based group guidance, and 10 in the control group, who received conventional group discussion. Data were collected using the adapted Emotion Regulation Questionnaire-Process Model (ERQ-30) developed by Preece and Gross. Because the Shapiro-Wilk normality test showed the data were not normally distributed, hypothesis testing used the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U Test. Results showed a significant difference between groups for both adaptive strategies (p < 0.001) and maladaptive strategies (p = 0.003). The experimental group's adaptive score rose from 68.7 to 91.6 (N-Gain 0.64) and its maladaptive score fell from 85.5 to 61.1 (N-Gain -1.4), both markedly larger changes than in the control group. These findings indicate that mindfulness-journaling-based group guidance is effective in increasing adaptive emotion-regulation strategies and reducing maladaptive ones among senior high school students.
