Abstract

BBLR didefinisikan sebagai bayi yang berat badan lahirnya pada saat kelahiran kurang dari 2500 gram (WHO,2011). Mekanisme reflek menghisap dan menelan belum berkembang dengan baik pada bayi BBLR. Reflek yaitu suatu gerakan yang terjadi secara otomatis dan spontan tanpa disadari pada bayi normal. Menghisap adalah refleks yang sangat penting pada bayi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh terapi oral motor exercise terhadap reflek hisap bayi BBLR. Desain penelitian pra eksperimental dengan pendekatan one Group Pretest-post test design dengan tehnik sampling consecutive. Dilakukan selama satu bulan pada 35 bayi BBLR dengan reflek hisap lemah. Tehnik pengumpulan data dengan lembar observasi menggunakan uji statistik paired t test. Hasil penelitian dari 35 bayi BBLR dengan reflek hisap lemah sebelum diberikan oral motor exersise didapatkan hampir seluruhnya bayi BBLR (88,6%) memiliki reflek hisap kuat setelah diberikan oral motor exersise 15 menit selama 7 hari. Dari hasil analisis uji statistic Paired t-test taraf signifikansi ? 0,05 dengan menggunakan Statistical Product and Service Solution atau SPSS for windows versi 16.0. diperoleh t= -16.233, p=0,000 dimana p<0,05 yang artinya H1 diterima yaitu ada pengaruh terapi oral motor exersise terhadap reflek hisap bayi BBLR. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terapi oral motor dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu intervensi bagi bayi BBLR untuk meningkatkan reflek hisap. LBW is defined as a baby whose birth weight is less than 2500 grams at birth (WHO, 2011). The reflex mechanism of sucking and swallowing is not well developed in LBW infants. Reflex is a movement that occurs automatically and spontaneously without being realized in normal babies. Sucking is a very important reflex in infants. The aim of the study was to identify the effect of oral motor exercise therapy on LBW infants' suction reflexes. Pre-experimental research design with one Group Pretest-post test design approach with consecutive sampling technique. Performed for one month on 35 LBW infants with weak suction reflexes. Data collection techniques with an observation sheet using paired t-test statistical tests. The results of the study of 35 LBW infants with weak suction reflexes before being given oral motor exercise found that almost all LBW infants (88.6%) had strong suction reflexes after being given oral motor exercise 15 minutes for 7 days. From the results of the statistical analysis of Paired t-test significance level ? 0.05 using Statistical Product and Service Solution or SPSS for windows version 16.0. obtained t = -16.233, p = 0.000 where p <0.05 which means H1 is accepted that there is an influence of oral motor exercise therapy on LBW infants suction reflexes. Based on the results of the study, oral motor therapy can be used as an intervention for LBW infants to improve suction reflexes

Abstract

Perkembangan pada masa kanak-kanak akan menjadi dasar perkembangan pada masa selanjutnya, perkembangan fisik anak ditandai dengan berkembangnya keterampilan motorik kasar maupun halus. Dari survey awal yang dilakukan peneliti memperoleh hasil hampir sebagian anak mengalami perkembangan motorik kasar suspect. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh permainan melempar dan menangkap bola terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar  pada anak pra sekolah di TK Sri Mulya Desa Srirande Kecamatan Deket. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperiment design dengan pendekatan one group pre test and post test design. Populasi adalah seluruh anak prasekolah di TK Sri Mulya Srirande sebanyak 37anak pada bulan Februari sampai Maret 2016 dan besar sampel sebanyak 34 dengan teknik Simple random sampling. Data penelitian diambil melalui observasi Tes Denver II. Setelah data terkumpul dilakukan editing, coding, scoring, tabulating kemudian dianalisis menggunakan Uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan p0,05 menggunakan program SPSS versi 16,0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hampir seluruhnya anak memiliki perkembangan motorik kasar normal setelah diberikan permainan melempar dan menangkap bola, dengan nilai Z = -3.317a  dan p = 0,001 dimana p 0,05 maka H1 diterima artinya ada pengaruh permainan melempar dan menangkap bola terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar  pada anak pra sekolah di TK Sri Mulya Desa Srirande Kecamatan Deket. Melihat hasil di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa permainan melempar dan menangkap bola dapat meningkatkan perkembangan motorik kasar anak.

Abstract

usia prasekolah merupakan usia dimana kemandirian anak mulaiterbentuk. Salah satu gangguan kesehatan yang sering dialami pada masaini yaitu masalah konstipasi. Berdasarkan survey 10 anak, 70% mengalamikonstipasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan peran orangtuadengan kejadian konstipasi anak pra-sekolah. Penelitian korelasi CrossSectional, dengan Simple Random Sampling, jumlah sampel 34responden. Instrumen dengan kuesioner, analisis menggunakan Uji ChiSquare. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar orangtua kurangberperan, seluruh anak mengalami konstipasi. Uji statistik Chi Squarediperoleh p=0,003 (p0,05), X2= 11.968 artinya ada hubunganbermakna peran orang tua dengan kejadian konstipasi anak pra-sekolah.Diperlukan peran orangtua dalam memberikan asupan makanan anakagar tidak konstipasi.

Abstract

In preschool years, the ability to socialize, prepare for school, and expand friendships are important factors that can influence a child's behavior. Many behaviors in the child's surrounding environment occur as manifestations of negative behavior in preschoolers because preschoolers are good listeners and imitators. Aggressive behavior refers to individual actions that harm others or damage objects. This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting self-efficacy and aggressive behavior in preschool-aged children at TK ABA 14 Kandangsemangkon, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. The research design is correlational analytics using a cross-sectional approach. The study population consists of 90 parents, and a sample of 74 parents was obtained using the simple random sampling technique. The data for this study were collected using a questionnaire. After tabulating the data, it was analyzed using the Spearman rho test with p < 0.05. The research results show that the majority of parents with preschool-aged children have low levels of parenting self-efficacy (58.10%), and almost half of the parents have preschool-aged children who have exhibited aggressive behavior (39.19%). Based on the data analysis, the correlation between parenting self-efficacy and aggressive behavior yielded a significant p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), and the correlation coefficient value (rs) was found to be 0.505, indicating a strong correlation between parenting self-efficacy and aggressive behavior in preschool-aged children at TK ABA 14 Kandangsemangkon, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. Based on the research findings, it is expected that parents will enhance their parenting self-efficacy to gain more confidence in their parenting approach, thereby reducing aggressive behavior in preschool-aged children.

Abstract

Pengetahuan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pemberian pertolongan pertama pada penderita asma. Pengetahuan yang kurang tentang asma dapat mengakibatkan tindakan pertolongan pertama asma yang kurang tepat di masyarakat Desa Jubel. Pertolongan pertama asma yang dilakukan dengan tepat dapat mencegah terjadinya eksaserbasi dan kematian pada penderita asma sebelum mendapatkan bantuan dari petugas kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengetahuan penderita asma tentang pertolongan pertama asma. Desain penelitian menggunakan deskriptif pada 46 pasien yang diambil dengan consecutive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Jubel Kecamatan Sugio Kabupaten Lamongan pada Maret 2023. Pengambilan data dengan kuesioner pengetahuan pertolongan pertama asma yang berisikan pengetahuan tentang penyakit asma, pengetahuan tentang tanda kedaruratan asma, dan pengetahuan tentang pertolongan pertama asma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan penderita di Desa Jubel Kecamatan Sugio Kabupaten Lamongan tentang pertolongan pertama asma sebagian besar dalam kategori cukup (37%), hampir setengah dalam kategori baik (34,8%) dan hampir sebagian kecil dalam kategori kurang (28,3%). Pengetahuan dari setiap masing-masing indikator didapatkan pengetahuan penyakit asma dengan nilai rata-rata 70,38 kategori cukup, pengetahuan tanda kedaruratan asma dengan nilai rata-rata 72,83 kategori cukup, pengetahuan pertolongan pertama asma dengan nilai rata-rata 64,40 kategori cukup.

Abstract

Background: Concentration is an important aspect in a child's learning process. A child's ability to focus on a task or lesson material optimally will greatly influence the understanding and learning outcomes achieved. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of Brain Gym  PACE on the concentration of children in grades V-VI. Methods: The research design was used a pre-experimental method using one group pre-test and post-test design. The population of this study were students of grades V-VI of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Babat with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample was selected using stratified random sampling with a sample size of 76 children. The instruments used were the Army Alpha Intelligence Test questionnaire and SOP Brain Gym  PACE. The intervention was given for 10 minutes a day, 3 times for 3 days. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Results: Based on the results of the Wilcoxon statistics, a significance value of p = <0.001 (p < 0.05) was obtained, which means that there is an influence of Brain Gym on learning concentration. Conclusion: These findings suggest that Brain Gym PACE has a positive effect on improving children’s learning concentration. Educators are advised to implement Brain Gym PACE activities as part of their daily learning routine to support children’s focus and optimize the learning process. Further research is recommended to explore the wider application of Brain Gym across educational contexts and age groups.

Abstract

Menstrual hygiene is an important component of personal hygiene that plays a significant role in an individual's health behavior, helping to prevent disorders in reproductive organ function. This study aims to determine the effect of health promotion on the level of menstrual hygiene knowledge among children aged 13–15 years. The study design used a pre-experimental approach with a one-group pre-posttest design. The population consisted of 110 respondents, and using simple random sampling, 83 respondents were selected. Data for this study were collected using a knowledge level questionnaire. After tabulation, the data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test with p < 0.05. The results showed that nearly all female students (108, or 98.2%) had insufficient knowledge of menstrual hygiene before receiving health promotion. Almost all female students after receiving health promotion had adequate knowledge of menstrual hygiene, totaling 88 (80.0%). Based on the above results, the effect of health promotion on the level of knowledge of menstrual hygiene among children aged 13-15 years was found to be p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates that health promotion has an effect on the level of knowledge about menstrual hygiene among girls aged 13–15 years. Therefore, it is hoped that female students will always maintain their genital hygiene by practicing proper personal hygiene in accordance with the guidelines provided by healthcare professionals, especially during menstruation.

Abstract

Kejang demam merupakan kelainan neurologis yang masih menjadi permasalahan yang serius dan menjadi perhatian petugas kesehatan dan juga orang tua. Pengetahuan orang tua tentang kejang demam merupakan suatu pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh orang tua tentang demam antara 38,9°C-40°C yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kejang demam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Video Edukasi Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Tentang Penanganan Kejang Demam Pada Anak Usia 0-5 Tahun di Desa Bulu Kecamatan Balen Kabupaten Bojonegoro. Desain penelitian ini penggunaan pre-eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Populasi 46 responden, menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling didapatkan sebanyak 42 responden. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan kueisioner tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang penanganan kejang demam. Setelah ditabulasi data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji wilcoxon sign rank test dengan tingkat kemaknaan p=<0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum diberikan perlakuan dari 42 ibu, 27 ibu hampir sebagian (47,4%) mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan yang cukup. Setelah diberikan perlakuan 38 ibu sebagian besar (66,7%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik. Berdasarkan hasil diatas dengan nilai signifikasi p sign = 0,000. Artinya ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengetahuan ibu tentang penanganan kejang demam sesudah diberikan metode video edukasi. Media video edukasi ini dapat menjadi salah satu media yang efektif dalam melakukan penyuluhan. Media video edukasi ini terbukti dapat mempengaruhi pengetahuan ibu terhadap penanganan demam yang benar sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya kejang demam.

Abstract

Hypertension is a common health problem among the elderly. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn. flower and white ginger tea in reducing blood pressure in the elderly. This quasi-experimental study employed a control group design. The study was conducted on 64 elderly and distributed equally to intervention and control group. The intervention group received Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn. flower and white ginger tea, while the control group administered antihypertensive medication. Blood pressure was measured using a digital sphygmomanometer. Data were analyzed using a t-test (α ≤ 0.05). In the intervention group, the mean systolic blood pressure decreased 11.7 and the mean diastolic blood pressure also dropped 7.8. In the control group, the mean systolic blood pressure reduced 12.5; and a decrease in mean diastolic blood pressure of 7.76. A notable change was detected between pre-test and post-test measurements in both the intervention and control groups (p = 0.000; p = 0.000). However, post-test systolic and diastolic blood pressure remained comparable between the two groups, showing no significant difference (p = 0.441; p = 0.856). Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn. flower and white ginger tea have demonstrated efficacy in reducing blood pressure in the elderly, comparable to antihypertensive drugs.

Abstract

Hypoglycemia is a condition involving decreased blood glucose levels. It can cause symptoms affecting multiple systems and have serious consequences if left untreated. Nurses play a crucial role in swiftly and appropriately detecting and treating hypoglycemia in the emergency department. Research on nursing diagnoses was the first step in determining interventions for hypoglycemic patients in the emergency department of the Muhammadiyah Babat General Hospital. The study employed a descriptive retrospective design using secondary data from medical records. The study sample included 73 hypoglycemia patients admitted to the emergency room from January to December 2024, selected using consecutive sampling, and data was collected on May, 2025. The data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that all patients experienced similar signs and symptoms: low blood glucose levels, drowsiness, decreased appetite, weakness, dizziness, strange behavior, and physical weakness. The nursing diagnosis that emerged for all patients was blood glucose level instability. These findings suggest that hypoglycemia has a consistent clinical impact and requires a structured nursing response. Decreased intracranial adaptive capacity, a diagnosis listed in the nursing pathway that is usually associated with severe hypoglycemia, was not found in this study. This may be due to limitations in neurological assessments and supporting examinations.
